ok there was a post here in the general forums about  a fellow member who has been working on a fix for the "Mercle Root problem". He worked on this problem for a while, dont know if he was actually PAID to fix the problem. don't know the guy personally but if you want to donate, do a little detective work here on the forums and donate to him or his project

410  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 4X 5970 - perfect condition. on: September 06, 2012, 02:42:38 AM
still a good deal for both I think. last couple days 1.5 gigs been selling for 500 or so, and you are offering dual cards and 4 of them to boot. Pay a little premium for the dual cards and 3.0 gigs at one shot. 2 thumbs up
411  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 4X 5970 - perfect condition. on: September 06, 2012, 02:23:50 AM
4 x5970? wow 3gigs for "assuming" 1200. Not a bad deal at all. Use those cards wisely.
412  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Multicard Setup, only 1 card is showing up in mining software on: September 06, 2012, 02:15:13 AM
Still not getting anywhere with the cgminer .sh issue. I tried using the "File" command to see what info I can get on the adl.sh file, and this is what I got:
Code:
The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~
$ cd cgminer-2.7.4

The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~/cgminer-2.7.4
$ adl.sh
/mingw/bin/adl.sh: /mingw/bin/adl.sh: cannot execute binary file

The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~/cgminer-2.7.4
$ file adl.sh
adl.sh: ERROR: cannot open `adl.sh' (No such file or directory)

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

in ~/cgminer-2.7.4     dir

see if it list files
look for adl.sh or ADL as directory. If not you dont have it installed/installed correctly. check that and get back to us.
413  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BAMT cron: No space left on device on: September 06, 2012, 02:12:23 AM
to start all over with a fresh clean slate, so to speak. Sometimes with certain "FORMAT.exe" it doesnt clean all the attributes of the filesystem. 4 gig flash and no space left? Bamt will format the 4 gig flash to only the size it needs, if you use the HP USB file it will format and clean all attributes and oh yeah make sure it is FAT not FAT32 or NTFS.
414  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BAMT cron: No space left on device on: September 05, 2012, 11:04:58 PM
go find the HPUSBFW.zip its a HP usb format software. grab from reliable source. Format USB drive (g:/,  f:/, something like that)   "not c:/" reinstall bamt on usb and you should be find, AGAIN DONT FORMAT C:/!!!!!!!!!

416  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Pool Mining, how many shares did it take to get your FIRST BLOCK? on: September 05, 2012, 10:27:14 PM
OK Today is a special day. I FOUND MY FIRST BLOCK TODAY at BTCGuild.com. So after about 700k shares, I actually found the block that matters. Heheheh So just kinda put a smile on my face today! I think that deserves a drink, 18 year old bottle of Single Malt Scotch. Ahhh gonna be a good night.

EDIT: Bad Joke Warning,  "I like my scotch like I like my women, 18 to 21 years old and Single!" wife doesn't like the joke as much as I do.
417  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Minning Rigs Must Go !!!! Sale on: September 03, 2012, 03:44:27 AM
And find someone like Crazy8s as a escrow service, just an example, someone who is trusted and active member in forums. And yes that is probably the easiest way for newbies, just like me get started. Trust is earned , not given. Still earning mine also.
