This is NOT a complaint, Just a curious question. Currently mining at BTCGUILD and got about 140k shares so far but no blocks. Only banging away at 1.2g. When you answering please state the speed. i know giga and amazin are banging away from 50 to 100+ gh/s and they probably find them on a regular basis. prefer answers from smaller miners, but bigger guys are welcome also.

I know BTC Guild's first block, back when I was testing the software in April of last year was about 3x difficulty, on my personal mining farm before I opened it up.  Something like 290k shares @ 4 GH/s or so.  Pretty funny really, considering back then I had what people would consider a decent sized farm Smiley.

Just for the record though, your Blocks Found on BTC Guild includes Namecoin blocks, so if you want to check if you're lucky/unlucky, you should compare it to NMC difficulty rather than BTC Smiley.

RIP BTC Guild, April 2011 - June 2015

I was mining at Bitcoinpool.com and solved block 121306 when the difficulty was around 109k, I was mining on a Radeon HD 4650 ~27Mh/s and total submitted ~ 134k shares over a period of 4 months.

Haha! I'm the only one to control Bitcoin address 1HjtErSHNEHtY347LouvsFq5KesHkEZLAV

Been mining for nearly a year on several pools.  Approx 500 M Hash/s gained me well over 100 BTC.  Not a single block though!

assuming 2 ghs per rig at 1k of electricity, hopefully get a BFL or two in the next few weeks also.

My rig run's between 480MHs to 514Mhs.  I have found two blocks on Ozco and one on BTC Guild.  Also have a low end GPU that gets around 34 Mhs that mines whenever this computer is on and it mines solely on BTC Guild so it may have been the machine that found the BTC Guild block.  I have no idea how many share's I had submitted when these were found as I wasn't paying attention at the time.

OK Today is a special day. I FOUND MY FIRST BLOCK TODAY at BTCGuild.com. So after about 700k shares, I actually found the block that matters. Heheheh So just kinda put a smile on my face today! I think that deserves a drink, 18 year old bottle of Single Malt Scotch. Ahhh gonna be a good night.

EDIT: Bad Joke Warning,  "I like my scotch like I like my women, 18 to 21 years old and Single!" wife doesn't like the joke as much as I do.

It took around 15 days of mining with 0.7-1.3 gh/s before I hit a block on Bitminter.

I've been mining for a year, ranging between 300Mh/s - 1.8GH/s. I've found 4 blocks at Deepbit (3.8 mill shares), and 1 and Ozcoin (0.86 mill shares). Total paid out: ~140BTC between the two. I think I should switch to solo mining  Grin Grin Grin

You found two blocks solo mining?  That's great luck.  What's your total hash rate up to now?

No I mine at BTCGuild, I noticed this morning that in the HALL of FAME my "Blocks found" went from 1 to 3 overnight. Mining less than 8 ghs right now. Moving up again next week, should be mid-teens by next week.

Ah, I wasn't sure what you meant.  But that's still pretty cool.  Keep on doing what you've been doing Smiley.

That's an impressive hash rate.  I wish I could afford that before ASIC's hit.  Oh well.
Take Care,
