I'm enjoying the shit out of bitmessage. So let's put on some tin foil abd say a grid out happens. Power is on but are contact ability is zero. If you had the ability to keep a node alive one could still send messages to another. If a mighty kill switch hasn't gone off one should still be able to keep his or her device of choice alive to run a client and be able to dispatch infomation to the node often enough to check in on family, set a rally point or assist in aid or rescue. And further download the chain to keep for updateing other nodes and users.
I think if I've learned anything it's how easy it really is to fork projects like this. So what if this was made so piss easy. All one had to do is enter a few fields of info and like fucking etardie magic. A back water communication system is created.. Might be something to present to ham operaters.

Okay so. You do understand I made 2.0BTC off a stash of 30k I had of this shitcoin. Maybe you should let it sink again then bring up your new hardfork later. WWE style shit. BBQ Coin could be like the Cactus Jack of the crypto world

Man, market for BQC has been straight poop these days though. I'm holding 20k longeterm but shit.
Think on the bright side. Mining difficulty is low ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) BTW - BBQCoin's First Birthday is next month. What should we do to celebrate? We should 51% this bitch for it's bday

much like the postal service of great britain use to work for decades without stamps. where the queen and kings paid the 'postmen' food and horses to be able to transport mail between districts. but then the stamp was invented to allow individuals to use the service.
much like ripple. for years used by kings and queens (the big timer exchanges) and now using xrp for individuals.
starting to see why the stamp analogy works soo well.. opencoin do need t make money, that is true. they are a business after all. not a charity. but xrp are not gold or silver. they are simply a method of showing a costbase per transaction (decimal of an xrp per transaction) which when people buy xrp are paying for the ability to sending the transaction.
XRP are not intended to be analogised as a jewel or gold. but as a receipt/stamp as a payment of service.
please get out of the cave and read the purpose of ripple from ripple. not the chinese whispered twisted words of the youtube sofa anarchists and wiki editors.
i bet 98% of people that say ripple is a scam have never even used ripple to move bitcoin from their wallet to convert into fiat with bitstamp. instead they just hang around these forums buying xrp off of other people and trying to sell it on to other people believing that XRP holds a value over and above that of a postage stamp.
I have yet to see a handout from open coin The "classic" Ripple has existed for many years. Anyone could use it. It did not require XRP. XRP was invented because they need a way to rip off Bitcoiners. If you call XRPs stamps, then Bitcoins are stamps too. OpenCoin Inc does need to make money, but a for-profit currency (such as the Federal Reserve Dollar or XRP) is something I do not support. I support open source, and non-profit currency. That doesn't mean you can't build something for-profit on top of a nonprofit currency.

A big problem I see even with BTC is what the "currency" is used for. I've come to find if you cash out to the central currency of your choice. Red flags bounce and you at some point get fucked on hold. All to prove you are not ab asshole. I've also come to terms with the cashout being harmful to a cryptos growth. So a few weeks ago I said fuck it. Lets try to buy what we need in BTC. Guess what... it is quicker. To cash out with USD in my hands it takes 3-5 days. I have been useing bitmit as of late cutting out the us dollar middle man. End result? Same item for an equal ir less price. Shipped within the same time I'd been waiting for my us dollar. Escrow so I suffer no loss until the item is in my hand. I challenge all newbs amiss to try it. If you want a currency that's stable we all have to use it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . That begs me to ask are you using it?

I have no idea the shipping cost for 1 coin to the UK. If it costs as much if not more I'd say no. Not for 1 coin.

frivolous, but cool
frivolous is a good word for it. It's intent is to be fun and hopefully something that could end up being useful in a more slim form.

So for about a month of been indulging in spending by BTC on parts and electronics. These goods are shapeing into an autopilot RC type drone that will hopefully be ablle to fly from one amature RC runway to another. It is possible to keep enough onboard battery power as well as use solar and other battery sources to keep her in thre air as well as power cameras, sensors and other onboard goodies. It's possible with a mobile hotspot to keep netwrotked and synced control over the drone for up to 4miles. So a s long as the connection is stable control is kept. It is also possible I've found to have control stations every few waypoints. I would consider this a wise choice as these stations could then manualy take over fight and attempt a safe landing.
The plans drafted by me call for up to five different Adriuno boards all preforming various onboard tasks. Flight control, GPS and waypoint handleing. Streaming Audio, Video and recording. Emergency sensors and security.
I'm finding as long as I don't overload the boards and further have the juice and the lift... much can actually be done.
I was thinking that flying at about 800m in the air this unit could also carry a speaker to spout adverts, shout outs as well as identity what it exactly is.
As far as carrying btc as a payload I was thinking of a usb stick loaded with the private and public key info. I was thinking even of throwing in some of the alt currency as well for good measure. The receiver would be a purchaser of the payload that is also a local resident of the community I live in.
So far 3.0BTC has been tossed into the project. And a majority of the parts have been purchased with BTC. Is is my hope that what cannot be officially purchased with btc can be purchased via a middle man abd escrow.
I will be updating this thread from time to time with photos and news of progress. If you would like to have your btc business be apart of this project I will more then be willing to accept donations and tips in BTC/LTC/DVC currency. Regardless of donations this project will be finished by September of this year.
Stay tuned

Yeah it was wrong theymos even said it. But its not pirateatfourty or matthew wrong.
To get the tag here you have to be one of the lowest.
Garr will pay for this more than people think and for him to get the tag it fould be a fail. Just look at how bitcoinica was defended or why its ok mt gox wont give us our coins back.
