Really pathetic performance from the Netherlands. When they managed to defeat South Africa, a lot of people were praising them and were asking the ICC to provide more opportunities for the associate nations. But today's defeat was so embarrassing that this is not just a setback for the Dutch but also for the associate nations as a whole. The ICC on the other hand has got the perfect example to exclude associates from future events. There is no justification for their poor performance today. It was just plain horrible.
We can't expect much from them, they did their best, and expecting them to win against big teams every match is too much in my opinion. Their brilliance will inspire more people to play the game, so over the next few years they will have a complete side to beat the other side. Yes, it's pathetic performance, but they showed they can beat a team like SA too so that they will embrace for a while. There is a bad news for England through today's match especially if England get all out before 169 then England will be at the bottom of the points table. My bet is on Pakistan to win against Australia though it won't be easy since both teams are under a lot of pressure after recent losses. Both teams are pretty weak in the batting and bowling departments.
Whoever bats first could have the advantage since this is a high scoring pitch and chasing increases the pressure basically.
