The premise of the post is wrong.
The only thing that controls the price of BTC in USD is the number of people willing to exchange USD for BTC and how much they are willing to pay.
I may be miners. It my be ordinary people, it may be professional investors.
Those who watched the stampede of minors into BCH and think it is a coordinated move are naive.
They moved into BCH because someone (not them) wanted to buy a lot of BCH and drove the price up. The miners followed this trend, they did not lead it.
Maybe BCH is being pumped. Maybe savvy investors see value there. Especially now that BTC will take a long tome to address their scaling problem.
Patience. Time will tell.

AFAIK, bitconnect has toned down their claims. I do not see evidence of a scam currently - it is a cryptocurrency like any other, one can stake their coins for a return in interest (which will be the case for ether as well), and if you lend it, there is the chance to get interest. If the currency has no value, then it will be reflected in the market.
What are the arguments that it is a scam?
I agree that they made very dubious (to put it mildly) claims in the past.
I don't know the dev team and why it has referral system, also little information about lending program. Also look ppl above me said about guaranteed return. We know who is ethereum dev, so we need to know who are ppls behind bcc, especially because they say you can "invest" in bcc. |

This is simply common sense even if I believe 90% is a bit too high.
It is probably very similar with Startups. So many are created and only a very few of them are succesful in the long term.
if they really have good plan and idea, it's easy to success here. It's easy to get fund even with just weird coin name. |

I wouldnt touch most of those. Try to buy into coins with more liquidity (trading pairs in more exchanges) so that you're less vulnerable to pump and dump or other price manipulation schemes. And i would wait a little bit closer to the fork to buy into any alt coin, in case they drop a bit further.
Well i'm not buy those coin, but i have some small coin also. yes maybe small coin are easy to become PnD coin but as long as it's good project i wouldn't mind to buy it for long term |
