401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your strategy to win in this bull run? on: March 02, 2024, 07:44:22 PM
Those that are holding Bitcoin, it is not going to hurt you if you sell 10%-25% of your stash during this bull run. This is the much awaited bull run that we've been waiting for. As you enjoy holding, you also need to enjoy profit taking because you'll have to wait another 4 years or more for you to see some window of taking profits again.

Whether you keep the profit or not after selling, you can always be back on the market to take back that percentage that you've sold so that your stash will be complete once again. All you need to do is to plan everything out on this bull run because no one's going to get you by with all of this market situations but only you.

Don't follow the crowd when you're just going to regret it later on.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos: Still a thing? on: March 02, 2024, 10:16:50 AM
I've been wanting to increase the number of my long-term crypto investments for a while now and I've already got like a good amount of BTC that I can comfortably invest without pulling out and I've checked Bitvest just out of curiosity and I've seen that you can invest in their website, I think I've seen it with Bustabit and Bustadice too back then, are they still doing that or is there like a lot of new casinos that are offering this kind of thing, I can't recall how it works when you invest in them so I'm going to ask (although I feel like stupid forgetting how it works), how does it work? And are there any other trusted casinos that are offering this investment? Is it a bad investment?
You just invest and let the casino do their thing after that. You don't have to do anything as you become their investor. If there are any other investments from the casinos, that's with the ones that have their own tokens. But do you think that they're good ones? Maybe they do in some occassion but sometimes not.

If you have a BTC that you afford to lose and you want to invest into casino bankroll. With what I know with them, they're no longer profitable anymore. It is completely different today than before where it's like the best time to invest on it.

I'd just hold that and probably if I insist on investing it to anything, I'll just trade it then to get 2x-10x in short term then will use that to gain more BTC.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake; one couple two accounts illegal? on: March 02, 2024, 08:01:30 AM
As I said, I didn’t even know casinos would ban players if they had a winning streak.
In some cases they will do that but if there's no reason to ban when someone is on a great streak, they won't do that unless you're raking like hundred thousand dollars to millions. Otherwise, there's a clear reason of violation why they'd do that when they've detected you.

You are 100% right and I agree it is my mistake.. i wasn’t aware of those rules regarding sports betting.
I will keep you updated on this issue after I send all the documents to Stake and hear back from them.

Thank you
Good luck with that.

There's a high chance that you'd be block forever there so try to find another bookie where you're not going to commit the same honest mistake as you did on them.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DID you get portal airdrop? on: March 01, 2024, 11:04:47 PM
I got mine but it's just $11 and I am happy with that already. I have seen people get as much as $100 up to $100k. I think that figure is right when I've seen it and that guy has just been so happy that it was his lottery airdrop and didn't expected it to be like that big.

Those that have taken hundreds to thousands of bucks of it probably done very well and a lot of things for them to have that amount of reward from this project. Once you got it, start selling it and make sure that you're not going to make any mistake with that money you've earned there.

I am happy when people are happy with their rewards and this is a clear sign that we're in the bull run because not every time these airdrops are going to be like this rewarding. Because when we're back to the bear market, it's like 1 out of 20 airdrops are gonna be successful.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of these betting Statements Do you Agree or Disagree With? on: March 01, 2024, 09:05:56 PM
3. Don't bet more than once a day.
4. Don't bet every day.
If you have the means to gamble everyday and more than once a day for which it is not going to be a budget constraint to you. It's ok to do it as much as you can and as long as you're not problematic with it and you're not affecting your daily activities, works, households, etc.

A bettor is gonna be always a bettor and can't even get the day off without having placing a bet each day. That's why it becomes a routine to the majority that it's normal to bet more than once a day and everyday.

As long as that gambler affords it and it's not making him poor and not affecting his obligations to his family, we can't stop that as that person will just reason out that he's still responsible with his things despite doing it everyday.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: March 01, 2024, 08:04:35 PM
In most laws, the debt of the father is only his debt and not of his kids. Unless the lender and the father had signed an agreement that if the father passes away, the debt will be continued and becomes the burden of his children.

But for me, what kind of father is that if you're going to inherit your debt to your kids? That's a crazy father to think of. Instead of inheriting will, good things and material posessions, you'll be leaving your kids in this world with a problem that you have taken.

So, that's it. If it's signed and made a contract that if the father can't continue pay the debt and after his death that must be passed onto the kids. Otherwise, the dead person is clear already with his debt.
407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we see BTC at ATH before the year ends? on: March 01, 2024, 04:32:39 PM
ATH already before this year ends? We believe in the cycle right and that should come by next year instead? While the likely of ATH before this year ends is there but I am more inclined that we might see it not this year but next year.

The halving has always been the same and consistent with its impact on the market and that's why I am timing it like less than a year before we see new ATH.

If we ever hit it whenever, I just hope that we stay on that top for so long like for a few days and won't be gone as soon as possible.

Given bitcoin reaching $64k at the end of February and trading above $60k, it shows that it has broken the history of previous cycles. And compared to the old ATH of 2021, we are very close so the possibility of breaking the old ATH and creating a new ATH this year is very high. Personally, I am optimistic that we will have new history, which means bitcoin will reach a new ATH before the halving and enter the bull season earlier than expected. The impact of the Bitcoin ETF is huge and it is working, things are changing and we need to adapt.
It sets the variation that every cycle is totally different and this time is. On 2021 bull run, the ATH was met after the halving. This time, we haven't been on the halving yet and Bitcoin is already breaking these ATH barriers and we're so close to it already.

I want to believe that ATH will happen next year but with the changes that we're experiencing, I guess that's where we have no control over. If Bitcoin will definitely going to reach and break a new ATH by the end of this year or even earlier, we can't do anything about it.

Because if it happens, it's still a favorable thing to us that are hodlers.

409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is holding their bitcoin, will there be a balance? on: February 29, 2024, 09:13:05 PM
No matter what happens, there will always be sellers in the market. But let us process that we get into that point.

What happens is that the buyers will try to put the price into premium so that everyone will be interested into selling it to them. Like putting a 10% premium for each Bitcoin that they will buy.

But you know, on this market, there will always be those that will be glad to sell at anytime. We as small investors, we're not like that because this is like a few amount to us and we have to be wise to sell it. But those that are in abundance or they mine it, they'd sell for sure.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports that you don’t watch but you keep placing bets on: February 29, 2024, 07:05:10 PM
I've done that before when there were some spare amount on my account. It just don't feel right when I see that there's still balance from it and that's why I think that I just bet it randomly.

The journey that I've got from doing this wasn't good. They may be small amounts but they're not really good at all as most of them have been losing. I bet with both small and big odds but never found in doing any of that.

That's why even with small amounts, when done collectively, the amount was still regretful to be seen as just losing money.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 29, 2024, 01:13:39 PM
I am not sure if I will also be around after a decade but it is said that time is likely the safest speculation that Bitcoin will hit a million dollars.

But we do not know how this cycles that keep on changing every time we are on it. It might be quicker for the next few years and cycles to come and we might get too close to it.

I'll hold but I won't miss to sell because that's how it should go and we have to enjoy taking profits.
What do you mean by not so sure you’ll be around after a decade?

He means that when it comes to bitcoin, he is a weak hand, and he does not have confidence in it as an investment that will continue to gravitate value into it.

Most likely he does not understand bitcoin very well, and sure if there is some time in which bitcoin seems that it is losing the strength of its investment thesis, then we could get out of it if we can see that in advance.

if we believe that bitcoin has decently good chances of going to zero all of a sudden or suffering some other kind of sudden crash in value in which we would not be able to get out our value, then we should modify our position size to account for those kinds of possible scenarios.. .that does not mean all or nothing in bitcoin, but still people can choose their position size and some people will end up benefiting more from the ongoing wealth transfer from no-coiners to coiners than others... and your ability to be on the receiving side rather than the losing side may well have to do with your actually having some coin..  Your choice regarding how much of a position size you believe to be a valid trade off, even if you have doubts in the strength of bitcoin's long term investment thesis.
Come on JJG, please don't be too harsh on me. My portfolio is composed of majority in Bitcoin. What I mean by that is I don't know if I'll still be living by that time.

You don't know what I am experiencing right now and what may happen to me by tomorrow or after a decade and that's why I've said I don't know if I'll still be around by that time.

I've got a position that I can decide to hold even more than a decade but it is that I don't know what tomorrow may bring to me and this is outside bitcoin and the market. I may not be a bitcoin maxi because I hold some alts but it has the biggest portion of my holdings and my heart. <3

You still can't guarantee it because we already experienced it, before no one is expecting that the current Bitcoin price we have right now is what we will experience.
Bitcoin is unexpected so we must be always prepared.
We need to consider a lot of things now especially since we already have a lot of volume, a lot of people already know Bitcoin, etc.
Yeah, just plan your actions on how you'd increase your position or time of selling.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How your feels? on: February 29, 2024, 11:40:54 AM
I want to know how it feels among those of you who gamble using altcoins or bitcoins, basically the crypto you are using today has increased significantly, we know that in 2022-2023 coins that are small are not so valuable, and how does it feel today? Is there a little regret or do you not care because the money you lose in gambling is a necessity for you, so you don't care about the crypto you have lost in gambling for the past two years?
There's a regret but that's what it is. We can't go back in the past and get those cryptos that we've gambled upon seeing their increased value now.

That's why we just have to move on and not to think anymore and let all of these gambling money think as lost money forever to have no attached feelings onto it.

The care and feeling was there but it's not going to help you move forward so just move on and just accept it and do better in some other days through accumulating again.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCoins I gradually building its reputable shape on: February 29, 2024, 07:40:23 AM
Those shitcoins that are being told to be potential coins, is that they've got the potential for being profitable but not with its use case and utilities.

I see AltCoins in the nearest future to be one of the hottest lucrative digital investments whereas you'd make exceedingly incomes with a little capital of invests.
But yet don't keep your eyes off the ball if you're a short term goal of investors. That is just the lyrics for crypto trades.
Actually, many of them are really profitable now and since we're in the bull run or soon we would be there. Majority of them are going to be lucrative but not all of the altcoins are going to be in greater shape.

I'd honestly think that soon we will out of that era where little capital comes with greater profits in the future.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have this practice of gambling during one's wake on: February 29, 2024, 05:55:11 AM
Yeah, it is a tradition and it will be more supported if the dead has been engaged in gambling and knows by the community as a gambler. There's a belief that his soul might even be happier if he/she people gambling on their wake.

But for me, I don't do that on anyone's wake. I am there to chit and chat and have sometime with the bereaved family to discuss matters or just wanna catch up. It is just my way of showing respect to the dead person, I am not against gambling on the wake.

If it's allowed, that's allowed and no one can stop that. As I've said, that's just me and my way of paying respect not just to the dead but also to the family.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which project/token brings you the most profit? on: February 28, 2024, 11:47:27 PM
Bitcoin & Ethereum.

No question about Bitcoin and as much as we can see, these surges are making us money without having to do anything.

While Ethereum is also increasing, there was a point of time that I was able to purchase very cheaply of it and just held as if I've forgotten it for a very long time.

I've sold it and enjoyed the profit through purchasing some appliances that I need in my house and the rest, put into my cash savings but that was long time ago.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: February 28, 2024, 10:45:17 PM
Congrats.

Let me tell you what I think about this. It's kind of a ritual that you gamble and you don't think that you're going to win because you believe that the opposite might happen.

I've been into that state and sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't. Regardless of what you think as a strategy, what matters there is on you're using your money for your bets and how you foresee the results of it.

If there's a likely that you'll bet for a match and you have this idea on your mind that you won't win again as sort of "ritual", you're free to do that anytime you wish to.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 28, 2024, 09:45:58 PM
IMHO, gambling in the past is like a luxury.

Life was too easy and non-toxic before and when you're an upper middle person living with a good job, people wouldn't think bad about you because it seems normal for that status to get engaged into it.

That's in my opinion guys. But if we look at this time, even if someone doesn't have a good life status and don't have a good way of living or doesn't have stable income, when seen to be a gambler. There's already the stereotype with that person that he/she shouldn't gamble at all.

But sincerely speaking the kind of lifestyle people are living now are more comfortable than before because at then we can say there were less mobile friendly. What I mean is that, most people only used the traditional ways of gambling where they don't need to visit the casino site or gambling site themselves to gamble except to they go to the local gambling shop to place their bet and as then they were doing it responsibly. Unlike now where everyone has access to internet facility, they can stay at their comfort zone to play gamble provided they have access to the site and have the requirements the site needs they will gamble.
In terms of mobility, ease and comfortability, it's true that living today is more of that than in the past. Before, it's a requirement to go and pass through those betting shops and cast your bets before you go somewhere.

Right now, with the ease of having a phone, you can visit any online casino and do your bets anytime, everywhere!

Innovation truly is amazing and it is hitting every boundaries that people have never imagine before.

But we have posted and discussed here multiple times that gambling is available for everyone. Why it is a luxury, when every single person could have used anything as a bet. Kids bet sea shells. Peasants bet livestock. Knights bet their armour and weapons. Dukes, kings, lords and etc bet gold, land or whatever they have. People will always find what to bet, and come up with betting competitions or games. What has changed with time is humans creativity only.
It's because I think that in the past, for someone to gamble, casinos are like the luxury area where only have money can go. Now, whoever has the capital to enter the casino, regardless of life situation can be a gambler because it's easier.

I agree that in the past everyone can bet with that. But I am talking about the specifics of having it on betting houses. Well, I might be wrong with that assumption as I didn't lived in the past.

But that's what I think that I've seen in some old videos that life was too non toxic and easy. And whoever has money have the benefits to go wherever they wanna go.
