提现人民币一般多久到账?
我们收到提现申请后当天就会进行转帐,但是支付宝和财付通一般都要隔天才能到帐
402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 21, 2013, 09:46:27 AM
Volume is getting lower and lower at Gox.

We may soon have to troll on the "Wall Observer - Bitstamp wall movement tracker - Hardcore" thread?

After the painfully verification/trust process at Gox, it would be major PITA to go through the same process with another exchange - but anyhow we really need to get rid of MtGox's dangerous centralization.

I just hope that better infrastructure arrives ASAP, I'm still not loving Bitstamp too much, and liquidity is still too low (but it is improving).

It looks to me like the price gap between Gox & Bitstamp is closing. Gox is happily soaking up all the "returning asks". Once we are close to parity, the spring will be ready to uncoil...
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 21, 2013, 08:38:40 AM
Let that spring coil just a little longer. Note how amazing a buying opportunity we have now with this shower of continuous good/great news and minimal price reaction. This time you don't even need to try to catch a falling knife. Easy, low-risk gains for the non-clueless.

I think it's just going to take one big buy to push people off the edge... I smell a panic buy coming on...
404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Canadian Regulators: BTC exchanges are not a money service business, carry on! on: May 21, 2013, 08:24:06 AM
That's cool, and a very good idea.

It seems most US startups spend more time armchair lawyering than actually creating value these days -- it's a sad state of affairs.
405  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] RMBTB.com: New China Bitcoin exchange, 0.1BTC / CNY 100 giveaway on: May 21, 2013, 05:19:35 AM
Almost imperceptibly, the lights flicker and dim. Far away, you hear what sounds almost like the distant roar of thunder.

What's that, you ask? It's the RMBTB trading engine warming up, of course.

Grand switch-on is at 12pm Beijing Time (4am UTC) tomorrow, Wednesday 22 May. :-)

406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Canadian Regulators: BTC exchanges are not a money service business, carry on! on: May 21, 2013, 03:59:06 AM
Seriously -- if this were Mexico or Turkey, it would mean nothing. But this is the US' next door neighbours -- arguably the most likely to be strong-armed into supporting the same laws "because Iran" or somesuch.

407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Criptocoins vs. Linux on: May 21, 2013, 02:34:28 AM
Remember the old saying: "Nobody got fired for choosing Microsoft"?

You know what? I'm just not sure if that's true any more.

The free software movement is happening a lot slower than I anticipated, but there's no doubt that it has made huge advances.
408  Economy / Speculation / Canadian Regulators: BTC exchanges are not a money service business, carry on! on: May 21, 2013, 02:30:43 AM
If this news is true, it is fantastic.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/05/20/canada_welcomes_bitcoin_traders_fintrac_letter/

If this is corroborated, I expect pretty decisive upward movement.
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 21, 2013, 02:26:59 AM

This is BIG BIG news, if it is true. I had imagined most Western regulators would be strong-armed by the US... and they may still might... but nonetheless this is very promising indeed. We need a sane counterpoint to the US' War on Everything We Can't Track, and we might just have it right here.

411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Graphs and Price change question? on: May 20, 2013, 08:52:08 AM
I think the "instant order" at Bitstamp just sets a limit order at the current "best price", and then moves it to the current "best price" every 5 minutes. It doesn't account for slippage. So it's not that bad.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Graphs and Price change question? on: May 20, 2013, 08:38:13 AM
You could take it to mean that "you would have to set your limit order at $114.48 if you wanted to fill an entire order of 50 BTC immediately".
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Criptocoins vs. Linux on: May 20, 2013, 08:32:06 AM

That said, barriers to adoption are constantly decreasing too. Many flavours of Linux have been easier to install and use than Windows for a long time now. And it will become easier and cheaper to adopt cryptocurrency in the future too.

EDIT: And I don't get the Ubuntu hate. It's not closed source at all..... Mark has done wonders for the Linux ecosystem.

Haven't tried linux but I'm about to. Is this really true and true for Ubuntu?

Been true for a long time (assuming you don't have really esoteric hardware with drivers that were only released for Windows, but even those days are mostly gone).

It was close to 10 years ago now when I finally switched -- I remember reinstalling Windows every 6 months to 1 year as it was the only way to keep performance up. At the time, (XP), you had to insert a *floppy disk* during the install in order for Windows to recognise the RAID drivers on boot. There was a whole bunch of other stuff that made it a right pain in the ass -- being an enthusiast geek, I lost whole days to Windows. And then you had the tools - codecs- etc hunt to set up your system.

Linux generally just works.. disk in, click, click... done. Open software centre / package manager, everything is there. IMO things have mostly "just worked" better than Windows for 10 years now.

And that's just for normal usage. When it gets to "have a bunch of data, need to analyse it"... or "need to knock up a script to do XYZ", you're on the perfect platform. On Windows, the first step was always "what do I need to install now, where do I find it, is it safe, and do I really have to pay?". It's just a bad system.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Criptocoins vs. Linux on: May 20, 2013, 08:01:52 AM
I'm not convinced.

Linux now has pretty broad adoption, but it is difficult to report. Look at most of the people in this forum -- in this demographic, people are at home with Linux on the desktop.

If there's a problem that can be solved by knocking up a quick script, people here will invariably turn to Linux.

In this demographic, desktop Linux appears to have pretty broad market share. And it appears to be increasing.

Then of course, servers -- only a vanishingly small % would seriously consider running Windows servers, and that number doesn't appear to be growing.

Android adoption seems to be > than iOS too. Android is Linux.

I see there being a bit of a "digital divide". Those who are computer literate, able to use general purpose computers to solve problems (and recognise and appreciate the freedom needed and given in order to be able to do so); and those who are not (and just need to look at ads on Facebook). Those who aren't, are also not likely to be early adopters of a cryptocurrency.

As people begin to recognize the importance of being on the right side of the divide, adoption is likely to grow. However, some people will never be able to cross over.

It's the same as the Web in the late 90's -- a small % of people who used it, with mass adoption following as people recognised the importance of being "web literate". Some people were left behind.

Bug.
Bitcoin isn't this boring... yet.

May as well be. Volume is spectacularly low. Everyone's waiting for the US to wake up and set the pace.

(up, of course).

I wonder what Loaded has planned...

418  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] RMBTB.com: New China Bitcoin exchange, 0.1BTC / CNY 100 giveaway on: May 20, 2013, 02:31:39 AM
Some FAQs (and answers).

Q: Waaa, I have to give you so much in order to get 0.1 BTC (etc)...

A: Not really. Depositing != giving. Say for example, you deposit your money and trade it all (which, incidentally, we're not requiring you to do). We would earn CNY 15 from that. So -- you'd be giving us CNY 15 and getting CNY 75 - 100. Still sound like a bad deal?

Q: Must be a scam then, why are you giving away free money?

A: Because we want you to use our site. We think our site is great, but that means nothing without users. We want people to join up and trade. You have to make your own judgement on if it's a scam; but ask yourself: "Does this site look like a cookie cutter set up quickly as a scam"? I can assure you: We don't want your deposits... we want your trade.

Q: I found error [x/y/z]

A: There are still a few... not with the functionality, but mainly with the template and translations. Please let us know -- we'd be happy to fix them and throw some BTC your way.

Q: I can't log in, it says my username and password are incorrect
A: This is probably our account protection feature blocking brute force attacks -- it should only be affecting our admins, unless you have a common username. We still need to tweak it further to stop it being an annoyance and only block potential hackers. If you can't log in, please use the contact form to contact us and we will fix it for you -- or wait for a few minutes and try again.

419  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 BTC for the most creative idea on how it will be used on: May 20, 2013, 02:15:17 AM
Time to get back to the deal.

Personally, I adore the idea of the single bitcoin being distributed in a traceable way, but there weren't that many proposals on it (at least for what I expected).
So it's not like: "I will add it to my wallet and will buy/develop/gamble from the pool". Sure, any development can lead to really cool things, but it's not the main point here. There's no problem with taking half of BTC to yourself and using the rest for a bigger purpose, however there were not that many deep proposals on it.

I've selected these favorites, and to make it a bit harder for a final winner, I'll ask to prove their points. So, guys, if you care, please give more details on how you are going to do it and prove it with blockchain/timelog etc.:

Could you elaborate on how the plugin is going to function? So far it's a bit vague.

And thanks to everyone else too!

I'd forgotten about this. It's been a long time -- quite a lot has happened since I posted here (see my sig, LOL). I'm actually in the process of giving away 20 BTC as "marketing expenses" (special offer) to new users on my new China exchange -- and dealing with all the upfront losses as a result.

I'd still be up for this though -- I won't turn down 1BTC. :-) Obviously I have a vested interest. Here's how I'd do it...

Have you heard about the current Chinese 'Gold Rush'? I'd print out 2,000* high quality flyers and give them to people / leave them lying around outside Shanghai's big gold shops, and to a lesser extent around the business district.

The flyer would be printed on glossy paper, double sided. Top side would be about Bitcoin and how it is "Gold 2.0". The bottom side would be "how to buy", but would include directions for my exchange :-)

* The quantity would be such that the total cost would be 2BTC -- I'd double your money. I might have to include expenses for handing them out though, as flyposting here is quite high-risk. If after the first day I deemed it too risky, I'd pay someone else to do it for me.

420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 20, 2013, 02:08:24 AM

why would anyone dump after such a bountiful amount of positive news?

I don't think it's going to happen... not on bitstamp or gox... it would be ridiculously stupid.

Bitstamp those selling at 119+ will not sell lower because they bought their coins on gox around that price, and there is not any easy way to market sell a lot of coins on bitstamp anyway... price matching is pretty shite (not sure if I'm using the right terminology but I'm sure you get my point). On top of that, the bids are too thin to handle enough of a dump.

Gox... well, it's become apparent that wires work and their other accounts are fine, and that DHS is not going to run in with a swat team and a minivan to take gox servers away from Japan.

I believe it's calm because everyone is playing wait and see... once people realise there is nothing really to see, and that the infrastructure is really truely being built now... the only way is up. I will assume the only question is whether there is enough new money to push it up very high, or if it's likely to be more stable and cautious (while possibly leaving bistamp behind until those with the biggest amount of coins staying unsold probably end up moving back to gox after they resolve their paranoia).

My limited opinion, but honestly I don't see any reason for anyone to be too shaky right now at all.
Good opinion Smiley +1

+2

It's easy to deal with dumpers anyway -- just ignore them. And it looks to me that people have started doing just that. It's not the end of the fake panic / DDoS scares I'm sure... but regardless of how long they wait, the solution is still the same: ignore.

If they want to flush their already-cheap coins down the toilet, be my guest. Hope the door doesn't hit them on the way out.
