401  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy 1 ounce Silver. End the Fed on: May 14, 2018, 04:42:23 AM
In 2012, there were lots of internet talks "Buy 1 ounce silver. End the Fed" then Silver fell to $9/ounce

Bitcoin has the same story with all the anti-government and anonymous talks.   Grin

Nice FUD you made there. Do you work for the Fed?

This is whats going to happen. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies with good fundamentals will see a bull market that we have not seen before conquering the world like how the technology companies did, and "End the Fed" at the same time.

Ty.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burst weekly report! The future is bright! Proof of Capacity is here. on: May 14, 2018, 04:22:52 AM
It is a short update and not much going on in development but it surely is one of the most important ones.

To all Burst holders out there or others who want to help with testing, please go to this Reddit thread to know what to do on how to help testing the new update. Ty.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: May 12, 2018, 04:39:12 AM
andreas911 go to /r/burstcoin in Reddit. The developers of Qbundle are always there to help you.

I have a curiosity, since some business/groceries will start accepting Burst, can it be an advantage to use tangles for their transactions? Like a private chain to store all the shop sales that will be easy to verify also for accounting etc.? Or will be better with standard block chain?

Think bigger. The possible consequences for the Dymaxion is bigger than as a storage for shop sales for the purposes of accounting. Whole IOTA or Byteball-like cryptocurrency ecosystems can live in the Dymaxion and use Burst's decentralized blockchain as their coordinator or witness.

Read more about IOTA's coordinators and Byteball's witnesses to know what I mean.

I don't think IOTA or Byteball would accept to live as a BURST project. I'd like to see that happening since I hodl a few thousand BURST coins but it won't happen. It's like asking Bitcoin to make a token on the ETH blockchain.

I said IOTA or Byteball-like cryptocurrencies. Right now, IOTA and Byteball are forced to be centralized until the use for coordinators and witnesses, which require trust, are not needed anymore. In the Burst Dymaxion Layer, every tangle opened is leveraged by its decentralized blockchain.

There will be large-scale marketing and promotional campaigns around the time when PoC3 is ready for release. I think that will be 3 years from now. Its written in the roadmap.

But if you want some marketing done now only because you want the coin to be hyped and pumped so that you can make a profit, then you are free to leave. We do not need people like you. We need a real community supporting the project.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the challenges for investment with Small capital? on: May 11, 2018, 04:22:38 AM
In the study of economics, Investment mean any addition in physical stock as well as stock of finished goods,  or you can say any putting money in anything for the motive of profit.I want to know your opinion that what are main challenges for small investors in any type of business now a days, If he/she has nothing after his investment?

The only investment strategy you can use that will result in something that will make you financially "rich" is to buy one low market value coin with everything you have and hope for the best.

Having that said, you can try to manage your small capital by having a portfolio of different cryptocurrencies but the growth will be very slow.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market Cap getting lower despite good news? on: May 11, 2018, 03:34:25 AM
Investors have become smarter over the last year and it would be hard to convince them to invest their money on a coin that would still go down despite all the good news.

The market will still remain stagnant after Consensus if you ask me.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burst weekly report! The future is bright! Proof of Capacity is here. on: May 11, 2018, 03:30:04 AM
From the latest report. Everyone in the community is welcome to join Burst's testnet to help the PoCC find bugs in the latest software client. More details are located in this Reddit post if you have more questions. See you there!

Just tried testnet. Should I expect to see my mainnet wallet balance for an existing account?

No, testnet and mainnet accounts are different. You can follow these instructions if you want to help with testing.

After creating your wallet on the test net, you can go on Burst's Telegram Test Channel to coordinate with other testers. Ty.

408  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Jaxx wallet doesnt change address anymore on: May 11, 2018, 03:18:14 AM

If you have experienced the same problem and knows a fix, the please help me. Ty.

410  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANNOUNCING EOSFINEX on: May 10, 2018, 04:12:05 AM
Still no reply? They should be careful what they hype then. EOS today is just a token in the Ethereum platform. It has no blockchain, no nodes, no network. But does it have a testnet?

I am not trying to put EOS down. The project could be good, but hyping it with nothing except a whitepaper and some code that will surely be buggy, like all untested software, is bad.
411  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project idea - Town or City built on the blockchain on: May 10, 2018, 03:57:46 AM
Kprawn do you support the idea behind this project? Are you willing to invest some money on it assuming that the founders can be trusted?

What do you think of its chances for success as a potential investor?
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: May 10, 2018, 03:03:32 AM
if burstcoin on binance, i am pretty sure we will see $0.2-0.3  per coin on the first day of the hype

10x easy. But do you really want it to pump this early in its development, with very little users and with almost non-existent 3rd party development around it?

The hard fork this June might bring some problems too. Its better to wait.
413  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Exchange - Let us grow together. Please provide us your feedback. on: May 09, 2018, 03:42:39 AM
But I heard that Binance asks for a BTC10 or more listing fee from the developers or the founders of the project. If this is true, was there a time that Binance listed a cryptocurrency from the initiative of the owners of the exchange itself?
I believe this still happens from time to time. If they know the coin is going to give them money (in fees), has a strong community and it's not a confirmed shitcoin, they are probably going to support it.

E.g: I doubt Roger Ver had to pay anything for them to accept Bitcoin Cash. It was just an obvious choice.

What about Bytecoin? Do you think they are not a shitcoin and has a strong community? You dont have to answer that lol.

Bitcoin Cash is a hard fork of Bitcoin. Anyone who owned BTC before the hard fork automatically has BCH. The exchanges had no choice and had to give the users who stored BTC in their exchange wallets their share of BCH.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may continue to move higher on: May 09, 2018, 03:27:14 AM
Then 3 days later from the day this thread was opened the mood quickly changed. Bitcoin is now nearly below $9,000 and falling. What happened? Huh

415  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project idea - Town or City built on the blockchain on: May 09, 2018, 03:10:14 AM
The idea sounds foolish. Wasnt cryptocurrency technology built so that we would break borders instead of creating them?

Good luck to the project but I hope potential investors will think twice once the project's developers start asking for money.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: May 09, 2018, 02:25:33 AM
BURST is now listed on a new exchange with BTC and ETH pairings: https://xchange.me/

Full list of BURST exchanges: https://www.burst-coin.org/exchanges

Great news. Any exchange will surely help in Burst's market liquidity. But I hope to see it in a big exchange like Binance sooner or later. If Bytecoin can have their coin listed over there then why not Burst, right?

Burst should do some more work with a technology that is really interesting and primed to change the game

Yes. I think Burst should do much more. They have a large community but are very passive. Guys you need some more marketing and be less technical. There are around new potential great new marketing ideas to promote the coin with new channels.

If you are a Burst holder then why not start talking about it all over the forum? A simple word of mouth would already be of help to make Burst more known.

Follow my example lol.

I heard that a project's team has to pay the site to get a listing for their coin or token. Is there a way for Binance to consider listing a project's coin because of technical merit alone? Ty.

420  Economy / Economics / Re: Real world use for smart contracts on: May 07, 2018, 03:12:30 AM
The real world use of smart contracts that can be done today are escrows and lotteries. Assuming we are talking about decentralized smart contracts. The other proposed uses are not yet fully tested for their efficiency and cost effectiveness. They look swell in their whitepapers but what smart contract platform are being used today? Nothing.
