there are some promising ico that will come, you can choose one of them by researching their goals and members of the ico team and you also have to predict the community feedback for the ico project.

it is a sure thing, I hold some kind of altcoin from ICO and will hold it for long term even I also hold some eth to make investment.

it looks like you did not get anything really eth but you just get the error. but if you really get eth then you are a very lucky person.

I personally wouldn't recommend anyone use etherdelta if you using it for big amount of money use at your own risk, the site is extremely unstable, orders get stuck , sells gets stuck, buy orders get stuck and just vanish without a trace.... Nothing seem to ever work correctly. Owner of site has not fixed any of those issues. The platform is a traders nightmare...
I agree with you, I also very rarely use etherdelta for the reasons always get interrupted and unstable unless I do it just because I have to. a few days ago i also had problems when will do withdraw from etherdelta to mew. |

I posted this thread because I have money right now and was thinking to like invest!
I wanted to know is it is beneficial to invest in new ICO, or should I just buy some BTC and wait for the value to increase.
actually you can do both, invest in ICO or continue to buy BTC and do hold. if you want to invest in ico you have to think and examine which ICO you will invest and give you a profit so you do not lose. |

I think there will only be some altcoins alone that can survive and the new altcoins are only stronger at the beginning and the longer will slowly be forgotten, and in the end the old ones will survive.

the fact that there are too many airdrops going on cannot make us conclude that many of them are scam, afterall i have seen some great airdrop like Postoken and Deeponion. it is the responsibility of the bounty hunter to duly check the airdrop info before joining the airdrop. however i think this is increasing as the year is gradually ending even bounty campaign have been on increase. not all this ICO are legit but there will still be great one out of many.
it is true that more and more ICO and Airdrops are arriving will further trigger the scammers to join and among them is very detrimental. so we must really be able to choose which one will be able to be light in the future. |

If talking about the king then of course I would choose bitcoin. But it can not be denied that ethereum also continues to chase bitcoin or maybe in the future could outperform bitcoin. |

Due to BTC hard fork, most altcoins are decreasing for weeks.
After last forks, people think they can make money. I don't think it's possible this time, but that's not my point.

I'm quite sure BTC decrease sharply after fork, but will altcoins increase or market cap decrease?

most people must have an opinion that after hard fork happens all altcoin will rise simultaneously and bitcoin will discard, but i can not determine what will happen and can only watch and accept what will happen. |

I think only the good coins will survive..
of course the best coins that will survive, but the obstacle is that we have a few barriers to differentiating which coins are good and those that are not, nor do we even know which bad coins will be the best. |

You guys are just diluting the market by investing in shitcoins ( making small groups of people crypto rich) when we should be focused on growing the real crypto's like eth, etc, ltc, nem dash, xmr. Stop buying the ICO hype and start getting back in to the real coins.
I also did something stupid like that, trying to buy lots of new coins to trade and what I got was a nightmare. i'm losing most of the coins I have. |

ETH is very good coin after BTC in history of cryptocurrency .i guess it will touch 1000$ in coming few months

I see doge coin and redd coin start losing its price after a hard fork in august yesterday which has been throwing more than half its price. so i am a little hesitate after hard fork in this month whether the two coins will be able to survive. |

As I have recently just joined the world of Cryptos around 1st August but I am doing only investment based on long term HODL currently my portfolio consist of NEO, OMG, XRP, SIA, XVG & ADEX
Would like good advise on any other cryptos with reason which I should be holding for a long term prospect of 4 to 5 years time
hold long term, yes i also do that. I think making long-term investments gives me considerable advantages and provides a fairly relaxing time span. but in choosing a coin to make an investment we must really think and make the right decision in accordance with some information we get. |

I prefer to hold bitcoin, because although many altcoins are in the red zone I really feel unsure that this is the right time to buy altcoins. one reason I say that "because I have tried it and I lost enough"
