401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Majority of altcoin = scam on: August 17, 2017, 08:56:45 AM
When btc dump, they dump
when btc pump, they even dump harder wtf

That is the puzzle here that everyone who is into trading really has to solve and find a way out. I cannot understand the ways of crypto totally also. But I am carefully choosing those coins I think will really receive the blow of the dumping without much effect and continue climbing. I have been wrong several times though.  Grin
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AdEx (ADX) partners with NEO! on: August 16, 2017, 03:06:12 PM
Nah here I'm going to be really skeptical and I'm telling you that there's no chance that ADX will follow NEOs path or reach more than 2 bucks. Just saying  Smiley

Now hear this, Now hear this: The great ZZ8ZZ has spoken! Abandon all hope in ADX -- because he said so.
Who is he? A random guy who came to here and saying ADX can't reach more than $2 with a newbie account and 95% of his posts one-liner? Do you think we will believe what he saying?

Well, I think this ADX thing has already gained the momentum it needs to run as bullish as it can and for as long as it can. But can anyone give me some sort of a reliable speculation as to where this coin will really end up in a couple of weeks at least? How much is your target for this coin guys? It has reached 20k sats already.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: August 16, 2017, 11:16:02 AM
The amount of altcoin is overwhelming,
So I am confused to choose a good altcoin for trading, Can you please mention any coin whose price is stable, So I can include it in my trading list,
I once had a bitter experience, I bought altcoin, but in the end it did not sell And lost from the market,  For example digieuro

I understand your some kind of trauma right there. It is because we already have like a thousand coins. And most of them are nothing more than scams. The crypto landscape is already full of shit. That is why you really need to do some deep digging to understand the project more than the coin.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: August 15, 2017, 09:00:38 AM
I think wealthy people can take interest in bitcoin. There can be no limit to a human's searching for more oportunities. If bitcoin will be used as a real currency, then all the more they should be using bit[Suspicious link removed]d thing about it is that their investment can increase bitcoin's value, bad thing is if wealthy people try to monopolize bitcoin.

I hope there won't come a time when bitcoin will be monopolized by the rich people. That would really be bad for the entire market. The fate of Bitcoin's price if that happens is in their hands and it is extremely bad for us who have a very small amount of bitcoin. They can easily pump and dump anytime they want.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: August 15, 2017, 07:48:44 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

Well, here's the big difference that might settle this argument once and for all. Your dollar, just like any other fiat currency, is not increasing in value. On the contrary, it is diminishing because of inflation. On the other hand, even your sleeping bitcoin is earning big time. The more BTC you have, the bigger earning you can get.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: August 14, 2017, 10:13:38 AM
We soon have Bitcoin with SegWit and Bitcoin Cash just debuted this week with 8 MB block size.

Whats the future and the use of Litecoin at current? I'm expecting Bitcoin Cash to get support and functionality within the coming months that Litecoin never managed in its ~8 years of life.

Why are people still investing into Litecoin?

Why is there necessary comparison between Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin? First, Bitcoin Cash is poised presumably to be the replacement of Bitcoin. It failed. It will continue to fail. And right now, it is Litecoin that is being tried to dethrone with Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash needs to be its own brand and use without resorting to compare others. LTC has been here for a long while and has built a reputation already. BCH has yet to achieve that.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest altcoin regret? on: August 14, 2017, 08:33:49 AM
I had 21 ETH that I had bought when it was about $7. When the price went up to $50 and held there for a while I doubted it would surge much more so I sold all 21. If only I had known the value of HODL...

I also had a ton of $4 LTC at one time and shifted it all back into BTC because I didn't think it would ever go over $5.

I know these aren't "Bitcoin Pizza" size mistakes, but it still sucks looking back. That's a few extra grand I could have had to gamble away on Bittrex Wink

This is exactly the reason why I would rather not touch my bought coins. When I see an increase in my coins somewhere around 50%, my emotions would run really high that I am forced to sell them because I am already gaining. I am already ecstatic with that. And when it is already sold, the increase goes on and on reaching the 3 digit surge.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i get free coins? on: August 13, 2017, 09:11:29 AM
Often see some bounty post, how can I do to get free and have the potential coins, for example, in the bittalkcoin this forum on their product post, what is the request for my account? Activity quantity

Try to go to the Marketplace (Altoins) section and then go to Bounties (Altcoins). There you can find opportunities for you. There are many threads there promoting projects and their ICOs. Read over them and then just follow the rules and instructions provided.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ICO are you watching next? for me BAT, TEZOS and STATUS on: August 13, 2017, 03:31:19 AM
Well as of now I am planning to watch the aventus's ICO. Because of the reason that I am a supporter of it. And I recommend everyone to please support our ico before September. We have everything that you need. Invest on aventus and surely you will profit real good Smiley
Aventus, Bowhead Health, Opus, BitClave and KickICO are potential and promising project in August until October.
Special, project Opus have confirmed from Musicoin is important strategic partnership of them in project MUSIC Alliance in next time.

These are big ICO names. I will also be closely watching their ICOs. I think these ICOs will not find it hard to reach their caps. But as to opus, it is already on going. I think they are already gathering some $1,200,000 plus plus. And in the next few days the ICO will end. I hope there will still be investors who will join in the final closing days.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo vs Waves! on: August 13, 2017, 02:41:29 AM
i am in favor of waves and here is the reason. rebranding from antshare to neo means there is something went wrong with their projects relaunching new name with the same people behind it is not an assurance that the project will push through higher than their previous project. waves is proven for a quite sometime now, i don't know what will be the future of neo.

However, after ANS (Antshares) was renamed to NEO, there was a serious surging of price. Those that are into trading that never heard of Antshares restructuring steps were even shocked as to what this NEO coin is all about. And then they heard that it is the ANS coin restructured.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: too many coins how to decide which to buy? on: August 12, 2017, 09:37:06 AM
If you have money to invest on, diversify it and buy a dozen of popular coins. Most coins have tendency to increase in price.
My top 5 consist of Bitcoins,  Monero, Darkcoin, Ripple and Blackcoin.

Still bitcoin is the best buy.

There is no need to worry about so many coins to choose from. It is on the contrary a better position for us so that we can carefully choose our own choices. You better choose the 5 listed here and add some ETH and Waves, and Strat, and also Status. Neo is also doing well.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: many ICO altcoin , What can be trusted? on: August 12, 2017, 09:05:07 AM
Look at what is behind the ICO offered. That is basically part of your due diligence before putting some precious money on the line. Look at the project and the team and the goal and the approach, etc. It is also an indication that it is trusted if the ICO is featured on some leading ICO news and publications.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 11, 2017, 06:03:50 AM
A simple but good house with a wide lawn, a car, and some appliances inside my house. That is already enough for me. Plus of course some extra cash for traveling and some other fun activities because cash is still needed when getting offline.

Give me a break, Bitcoin!  Wink
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: August 10, 2017, 07:12:45 AM
What do you guys think? Is it too late to buy NEO? sitting at $15.

Definitely not yet. Do it now. There are huge announcements NEO have in the near future. China is a really huge market out there. NEO will go more than the $15 mark it has right now. It is pumping right now but it is not yet the highest. There will be more good news in the days to come for NEO hodlers.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I put all my BTC and ETH to XRP (Ripple) on: August 10, 2017, 07:01:10 AM
I put all my BTC and ETH to XRP (Ripple)
- marketcap from 114 billion to 74 billion.

I think my btc and eth getting a huge dump the following weeks.

https://steemit.com/ripple/@boxxl/why-i-m-not-selling-my-ripple-xrp

There's the risk-taker. I wish you luck with your decision. What you did was a really huge step. But it was sort of not the thing for many. To have a diverse investment is encouraged. But I know you did your assignment in doing some background check of actual Ripple updates. I trust the coin also. I hope you will end up very proud with it.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: *** Complete Guide on How to Create a New Alt Coin *** on: August 09, 2017, 03:59:46 PM
The easier how to make a new altcoin gets, the more prone this forum and the entire world of crypto will be flooded with new coins. We have already almost a thousand coins. And most of it are shitcoins and the rest are poopcoins. They are without real use in the real world. Grin

417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign - Lately waste of time and energy on: August 09, 2017, 03:31:13 PM
Lately, the vast majority of the ICO bounty campaign sucks and not worth your time to promote them.

What I found are the following from my own experience:

  • Poor managed campaign without transparent communication and delay.
  • Many will not even reach the minimum payout, and you will receive nothing for your effort.
  • They accept too many people and when they count the stakes, you receive a little reward not worth the time.
  • Too many bugs and slow access to bounty websites.

Some solutions should standardize the process of marketing the ICO.

  • Pay bounty participants in ETH or BTC even if the project fails with money protected before the bounty.
  • All bounty campaign should migrate to web based solutions to simplify the stakes distribution.
  • Limit the people on each campaign to give a good value of your time and energy.

My advice: Think twice before promoting an ICO, we are human and your valuable time should be spent on something worth it for the effort.

I hope this concern will reach the moderators and leaders of this forum!

This is a timely reminder for all of us here, regardless of whether you are a bounty hunter, project member, moderator, or whatever.

If I may add some notes. This forum is too overcrowded already I guess. I think it would help this forum to be kept healthy and survive for a long time if some rules such as the following will be adapted:

1. Limit the entrants. Somewhere along 30-50 a month would do.
2. Adapt stricter measures so that all those reaching a certain negative % in trust should be permanently kicked out. Include those who have multi accounts and doing scams and spams.
3. Dormant accounts within a month or a couple of weeks should be permanently kicked out as well.

I have several more in mind but I think I am like ranting here.  Grin Grin
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 09, 2017, 02:54:48 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

That was surely a lost opportunity. I heard bitcoin much later. The regrets were more like related to alts rather than bitcoin. I didn't jump right into the BTC bandwagon because I need to make sure I am joining something legit. That was necessary for sure.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem with ICO on: August 08, 2017, 10:39:55 AM
My biggest problem with ICO is the project. When the project is long term project, THe coin will dump then after the ICO ends. Sometimes, at the first month The price rises but after that down. The token holders seem to sell all their possesion because no project that can mantain the price of coin. When the project is running together with the releasing the coin in the exchanger there will be high supply and demand. That's will make the coin stable and jump again.

Which then leads me to conclude that it is the project that determines everything, the fate of the coin and its price. If the project will kick hard right from the get-go then there is no problem with the coin's value. It will rise for sure.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 08, 2017, 07:21:14 AM
I really love and hate altcoins because I've been through so much after all the years now
I've made a lot of profit and lost a lot too
But I really like this
It's kinda raw somehow

I so love the raw raw ro... rollercoaster ride.  Grin

The love and hate feeling is really true. Look at their growth, some would even reach unexpectedly more than a hundred percent. And then they would dip and dip and dip. And soar again.
