401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Aventus coin on etherdelta! on: September 06, 2017, 03:19:53 AM
Hi guys, I wanted to let you know I have noticed that the aventus token is already being sold. I was very interested in it and unfortunately, I was not accepted in the whitelist. I know that the crowdsale is tomorrow and I could buy it then for the ico price, but I am worried it will be very difficult to buy it, since the whitelist is being sold very fast, and I am afraid tomorrow it will finish in a matter of seconds. So I am def going to buy it now for a price which is just a bit higher than the ico price. Thoughts guys???

The whitelist turned out a very easy sale. The remaining Aventus tokens that will be offerred in the public ICO is going to be much fewer because the exclusive whitelist sale that was only offered in a single day was a very big success! This Aventus public ICO might be ending in a single day also.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 05, 2017, 10:23:24 AM
The Chinese government has always been loyal to the crypto currency, and therefore I believe that the ban on holding an ICO is not an attack on the whole of the crypto currency. Apparently, we are talking about streamlining this process and its release from scammers. So in this prohibition there is nothing terrible.

Most probably. This is nothing more than a way for the chinese government to put some regulation to this ICO. This is a move to stay away from opportunistic projects using ICOs to get chinese investors to get some money from their pockets but end up with nothing in return. Well, hopefully this is just this. Otherwise, we will be suffering together.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins you are going to buy? on: September 05, 2017, 10:01:58 AM
This is going to be a shopping galore for altcoins right now. Buy the Ripple, Dash, SC, Strat, Waves, SNT, MCO, OMG. Even Bitcoin is going very cheap. But the problem is whether when this waves of painting red will stop doing this mess in the exchanges. This might continue indefinitely or this might be very temporary. The effect is really destructive to the pricing of the cryptos. I hope this will be quick.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SALE SEPT 6] 🚀🚀 AVENTUS 🚀🚀- ANTI FRAUD ANTI TOUTS EVENT TICKETING on: September 05, 2017, 09:32:49 AM
ICO is gonna be tomorrow finally.  Cool I remembered starting doing posts here in June. I know this project is based on real-life issues, entertainment and sports ticketing in particular, that is why it has my support since day 1.

I hope the ICO is going to be a sold out! Good luck for tomorrow, Aventus Team!
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do with 10 eth on: September 04, 2017, 04:32:09 AM
Hi Guy's,

Where would you invest 10 eth in when you can and why? Smiley

Here are options. I would keep it as ETH. Or I would keep the 5 and the other 5 I would use to buy ETC. If you are not really a fan of Etherium, whether the ETH or the Classic, then I would go for Waves, or Verge, or BAT, SC, Lunyr, ADX. Or if you want to make a safer investment, better convert them to BTC and hold until December or early 2018 or even longer. Do your own research though.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monetha ICO $30 million Sold out in few minutes on: September 04, 2017, 04:15:50 AM
Monetha has been doing a perfectly great job since the time they introduce their project. No wonder they raked such big support from investors. $30 million in a few minutes is really a big success for them. This payment solution project which is actually focused on business people are becoming a sort of good option for them for their business across the world to become uninterrupted, secure, and safe.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Estate related projects comparison on: September 04, 2017, 03:43:21 AM
Being really a fan of projects that are backed with real life assets I could not overlook the fact that there is currently really allot of projects related to Real Estate market out there.
Some of them are making platforms for renting, some have real estates as backing and so on.
Below is the list of projects that I have currently noticed.
If there is some project that I have missed please let me know and I will add it.

Basic idea of this topic is to compare specific projects, so people can easily see pros and cons between them, which makes decision where to invest easier. Hopefully.
So is you know the differences and you have some basic knowledge about some project below please write about it.

This is the state at 3.9.2017
If you read this topic later, status of ICO can be different

Thanks for the list. I thought this was not this long. I thought Real Estate projects on blockchain are very limited. I was only introduced in some certain ways to Xaurum Gamma (because of its attractive signature I was led to its ANN thread). REAL and Atlant are kind of famous already being spread across this forum. And then I found this, Oh my! they are actually many.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good chance to buy Onion on: September 04, 2017, 02:52:05 AM
I admit this DeepOnion airdrop was really frustrating at first. How can a free airdrop requires its participants to wear signature and make posts when it is so called free? It is not anymore free airdrop. Might was well call it signature bounty campaign. It turned out big however with so many people here going for it.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing $1k USD on: September 03, 2017, 02:04:46 AM
Hello Crypto World,

I currently have 16 coins (low amt) and looking to invest $1k into my portfolio.  I'm a long-term investor.

My question - what are your thoughts on spreading across 5 coins: LSK, NEO, STRAT, QTUM, OMG, or topping off XRP?

I don't own any of the 5 coins, however I do own a small amt of XRP.

Thanks in advance

Of the five in your list I would rather replace NEO with Ripple. Yes, XRP is a wise investment. There is still a large growth waiting to happen for the coin. The use of XRP is not yet maximized and the updates regarding the banks using Ripple have not yet affected the value of the coin totally so there is still an upward movement for XRP in the coming months.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best 50 Coins To Hold 3 Years on: September 02, 2017, 03:10:24 AM
Right now, I have a small portfolio but growing and I'm trying to put together a plan to get to 50 Coins that I grow over the next 3 years.
I'm looking at ICO's as well of course.

Currently, I hold:
BQX
CVC
DENT
DNT
GNT
IFT
MBI
NLC2
PAY
SNC
TIX
PROPY
ATL

I'm looking to expand. I dont want to swing trade as I prefer to buy and hold for future home building plans.

What do you think are great coins to add for long term growth?

If you are looking for some 50 coins, it is better to choose the top 20. You still have a remaining 30 for your personally chosen coins even if they are not from the top. Reserve the 10-20 spots for the newly introduced coins in the exchanges with very successful ICOs. If their ICOs are such success then the project and the team might also be a success. Worth investing therefore.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk Currency on: September 02, 2017, 02:41:56 AM
Yeah sure, it is never to late. It's pretty solid. Returns on this were great for me.

Agreed. Lisk is an old and dependable coin worth risking with your investment. It has gone down the $8 value for now. Perhaps you might want to buy your own share. No need to be afraid of it losing some cents in value sometimes. The general direction for this coin is upward. Pretty solid team.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin is falling. Who knows why? on: September 01, 2017, 04:08:20 AM
I lost quite a lot of Sc, stratis, xrp and Dgb. And you

Same here. I also have some of the coins you are mentioning. This is temporary though. There is serious pump happening to Bitcoin that is why the alts are suffering. By the time this will end and stability with Bitcoin's price will take place, the alts will fly again. That's what happened right?  Grin
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why buy WAVES? on: September 01, 2017, 03:59:38 AM
I own 1000 waves. what are the upcoming events with this coin? I am thinking about adding more.

Buy waves because this coin will give you the profit you want.  Wink This September will be very good for Waves. Actually, the waves team are announcing some new developments and partnerships with their project almost monthly. Waves is still grappling with smart contracts as well as exchanges until now, for me. But as soon as they will perfect them, they will grow big.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the best ICO... on: September 01, 2017, 03:43:31 AM
hello together,

i am very new into trading, and I made a few big mistakes and lost mostly everything  Sad

So now I decided the to spend the last $500 dollars that I have in an innovative ICO, in the hope that I get at least a part of my losses back.

My question is, is there any experienced trader that can recommend me a good ICO?

Right now I look at:

- presearch
- monetha
- substratum

What do you think? I would be very thankful for some help!

I highly recommend you to go back to trading. Investing in an ICO is way more risky and the return will have to wait for a long while just the same as in holding. Go invest your $500 in like 2 to 3 altcoins and then hodl tight. And do not be carried away by your emotions. Buy low sell high. Do not forget that. Do not sell when your alts are losing. Just wait for them to bounce back. They will for sure.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best healthcare ICO for huge profits on: August 31, 2017, 09:53:05 AM
Healthcare industry many trillion dollars but not many projects. I think amazing healthcare ICO is guaranteed to make many profits. Looking for 1000x profits it will for sure be in a healthcare ICO...make it easy to search among so many ICO.

I do some research and find Bowhead Health, Medcredits, Medibond and Patientory.
Please let us discuss with community and find easy project to make easy $$$!

-Amir

Patientory had a successful ICO. But I am waiting until now for Patientory to be accepted in Bittrex for trading. I hope it happens soon. Bowhead on the other hand is ending. They have hours left if I'm not mistaken. These are really breakthroughs in the medical industry. This is also a huge step for the blockchain technology.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem Vs Facebook on: August 31, 2017, 09:13:15 AM
Why do you think steem might win over Facebook or anyother social network app that currently available on the open web? What would drive the average consumer to use a PAID service if there is a free service that  already exist.

Facebook is already a whale, a god in terms of social media. Steem is just a fingerling. Facebook has been acquiring more assets in terms of online business. There is no possibility for now that Steem will be able to take the top spot from facebook.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 30, 2017, 03:31:19 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

What you have read is true. There are a lot of shitcoins here but it does not mean that you cannot make profits from these shitcoins. There are pumps happening even to shitcoins that is why they are still worth monitoring at times. If you want reliable coins to invest in then go for Waves, ETH, ETC, BAT, XVG, DGB, Strat, Ripple, MCO, and so many more coming from the top.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I convert my bitcoin to Ethereum? on: August 30, 2017, 03:05:21 AM
When investing, I’m a big fan of diversification of portfolios. I believe that both Ethereum and Bitcoin offer value, albeit in different ways.

Even though Ethereum is positioning itself to become a large platform, the fact that Bitcoin is so well known makes it the first place where people invest.

You are right. Diversify your portfolio. There is no need to get confused as to whether Etherium is better than Bitcoin or the other way around. Definitely, it is wisest to just invest on both. Bitcoin is the top among all so there is no question about BTC investment. ETH for me comes in second so the argument is the same. No need to make a fuss as to which to choose.
419  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Re: Waves Cash Digital Asset (Wcash) on: August 30, 2017, 02:42:00 AM
Creating a token named 'Waves Cash' on the Waves platform seems like a ridiculous idea as you're just trying to make us think about BTC and BCH. What good does this coin offer that isn't already existing?

I share the same reservations that you have, mate. I am not inclined to appreciate the existence of another Waves. I am one of those promoting the surge of Waves and now they are introducing another Waves coin? That seems adding another injury to the already low Waves. Is this Waves Cash thing passed through some split?
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-ICO bonuses on: August 30, 2017, 02:15:55 AM
Hi

In most of ICOs, investors can get some bonuses, if they invest sooner. In my opinion these bonuses not only don't cause the ICO to be successful, but also cause the ICO to fail. In some ICOs there is up to 100% bonus.

If I see that there are some people have gotten 100% bonus in pre-ICO, I don't invest in that ICO, Because they will dump their coins after crowdsale and cause the price to fall.
Do you agree with me? What are your opinions?

I just want to remind you that coins or tokens sold during the ICO are not just for the sake of pumping or dumping. Tokens or coins sold during the ICOs are used according to how their respective projects design them. You buy OPT or Opus tokens, for example, not for the sole sake of trading or exchanging. These are tokens that can be used to participate in the music community they are creating. You buy TFL, or Trueflip tokens, you are not only buying some other token for the sake of trading but to be used in their gambling site.
