401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you sell the altcoins gained from bounty programs on: October 24, 2017, 01:42:27 PM
I think the best time to sell the altcoins gained from bounties is when the coin has a positive news and for sure that coin will pump up and that will be the best time to sell your altcoins, although there are some who would want to keep a couple of coins and the rest would sell them right away.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone buying all these new shitcoins is killing the altcoin market. on: October 23, 2017, 04:54:09 AM
Well as they all say, to each his own. We can't dictate what others want to buy. But we should encourage them to learn more about the coins they are buying so at least they would know the value of those coins and eventually can determine which is a shitcoin or not.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best browser for Etherdelta??? on: October 23, 2017, 03:35:58 AM
Probably it is not because of the browser, sometimes it has to do with your internet connection. I also had experienced that before and used Chrome which is what I usually use when opening some sites, and realized I couldn't open Etherdelta because of my slow internet connection.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: October 22, 2017, 06:07:47 AM
There are I think a few of the exchanges that announced they are supporting Bitcoin Gold, but I'm sure the other exchanges might support them but will be giving the free coin slightly delayed just like what happened with Bitcoin Cash. A few of the exchanges I know that support the altcoin are HitBTC, Binance and Bittrex.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH target 1000$ in ending of this year on: October 22, 2017, 04:05:14 AM
I don't think it will reach $1000 by the end of this year, it's slowly moving upwards but still haven't reach a new ath since a few months ago and even went down half the price. I'm thinking of around $600 max by the end of this year, it might happen.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stolen ETH from myetherwallet.com on: October 21, 2017, 07:37:03 AM
More good news! After reporting myetherwallet being compromised through phishing at all authorities (takes time but is worth it) I informed forum member "saiful" that I have taken legal action against him. On October 18 he replied that he would return the Bitindia tokens stolen. Today I received them in a new address.
Participating in phishing scams is a serious crime and one can get in a lot of trouble. By returning what you have stolen you have a chance to avoid serious problems with the law. To all those that participate in such scams: Do what "saiful" did and return what you have stolen to the rightful owners. The damage that may be done by a stupid act like stealing tokens might be 100 times worse than what the tokens are worth. The only ones making money out of scams are the ones organising them while the little guys that do the dirty work get caught. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.
To victims:
Report, report, report and then report again sending all the information to ALL authorities. Everywhere. Do a search in Google for reporting scams and send a report EVERYWHERE. Believe me I found a lot of people that helped me track and find those responsible for compromising my wallet. IT'S WORTH IT.

This is great news then, I just hope those hackers will return back the coins they stole from everyone. But I don't think some would return back the amount they stole. I was also a victim but I only had a small amount of Ethereum stolen from me so I just let it go and learned my lesson well.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin for beginners to start trading? on: October 21, 2017, 04:52:28 AM
The best crypto for beginners to start with would be none other than Bitcoin itself, if you know the value of bitcoin then the rest of the altcoins would just be easy for you to trade with. Because when I first started trading, Bitcoin was the very first coin I traded with and learned a lot from it.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA "CTR" at your own risk on: October 20, 2017, 08:33:44 AM
Could this also be the reason why Centra now is dumping? I have read a couple of articles and people commenting it as a scam but as I have read the whitepaper, their roadmaps and their project. It really looks legit to me, so I'm just waiting for Centra to prove them wrong and just read some article about their successful development and projects soon.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Updates on Exchanges and BTG on: October 20, 2017, 05:06:13 AM
So far there are less exchange sites announcing if they support Bitcoin Gold unlike what happened on the last fork with Bitcoin Cash, I really they would stop with the forking so altcoins can have its place again in the market. Most of my altcoin now are swimming in red because of these forks happening.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Trading Truly Profitable on: October 19, 2017, 03:54:53 AM
Yes its true that Altcoin is really profitable. Your earning depends on your strategy. You must know when is the right time to buy & to sell your coin.
And the very important thing to remember is you must know how to control your emotions & always bear patience, as the value of  coins often goes up and down.

Yes this is so true, trading Altcoins is indeed profitable but it depends on your strategy and the coins you are trading with too. It'll take so much of your time because you have to do some digging on these coins and read charts too to know when the price would go up and down. It really takes so much of your patience too because it is not all the time that you profits from these coins.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Digibyte DGB Segwit Activation on: October 19, 2017, 02:46:14 AM
I bought DGB for a price of 600 sats. - That was the time were altcoins are predicted to boom.
Kinda made a mistake on that one since the price now is only 100 sats. I'm still holding on to these coins for a hope that the price will go up but based on the graphs - still no luck.
I hope this will change on 2018

I thought I was the only hoping for this coin to pump back again. Had bought this coin earlier this year at a low price and really though this coin was going to skyrocket but turns out to dump more especially when bitcoins price is soaring high lately. Hopefully it'll fully recover by next year and I do hope there will be new updates with this coin too.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex. What happen? on: October 18, 2017, 07:50:34 AM
Now I'm really concerned about the accusations of people about Bittrex, I have a couple of coins and BTC there and when I read some negative feedbacks about accounts being disabled and can't withdraw I tried to log in to my account but I had no problems with it nor was my account disabled but I'm afraid if I'm not able to withdraw or the next time I log in I would be disabled too, I hope they fix this issue right away.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold for people with less than 1 BTC in wallet on: October 18, 2017, 06:59:26 AM
Yes, I think it is just the same as Bitcoin Cash. Any amount in bitcoin you have on your wallet during the fork, you'll get the same value in your wallet in Bitcoin Gold. Doesn't really matter if you only have like 10 satoshi in your wallet.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether hard fork and prices on: October 17, 2017, 01:58:36 AM
I didn't notice anything and I didn't feel like Ethereum's price changed before the fork happened but I'll try to see this week if any changes does happen. Hopefully Ethereum will reach a new ath because it had been a few months now it reached a new target, but maybe that's the downside of altcoins too.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta.com doesn't work on: October 17, 2017, 12:52:52 AM
It works perfectly fine on my end, just make sure you logged in to the correct website because there are a lot phishing sites that actually looks like the real one. Just wait for a couple of seconds for the site to load because the problem might be your internet connection too.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about Bitcoin gold?? on: October 16, 2017, 05:44:22 AM
Bitcoin gold will be just another altcoin created, and I am expecting those who'll receive their free coin would most likely sell their coins once they get a hold of it. We will just have to wait and see what will happen and how much will this altcoin cost once it is out.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex made alts crash ?? on: October 16, 2017, 02:50:07 AM
Whether there is a manipulation on Bittrex or not, I still like the site more than any other sites because they are by far the most reasonable site I've ever encountered. And I basically don't have any problems with this exchange site as well. And oh probably the reason why altcoins are dumping is probably because Bitcoin is close to reach the $6000 goal.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stolen ETH from myetherwallet.com on: October 15, 2017, 05:19:46 PM
My friend also lost his Ethereum and some other coins from a phishing website and said it really looked the same as the original one. I think it's better if you just bookmark the legit website to prevent this from happening again. So sorry for your loss OP but I think you can't retrieve back the coins you lost anymore.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker stole $31M of Ether. Can this happen again? on: October 15, 2017, 04:25:38 PM
Yes it could happen especially when you have logged on to a phishing site, so basically before making any transactions we have to be very careful because we can't afford that to happen. And once our holdings will be gone, we can't retrieve them back for sure. These hackers are growing and they are getting good at it as well.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Plunging on: October 14, 2017, 03:29:47 PM
Mostly people holding altcoins for a couple of months now sell their coins and take loss then buy bitcoin because of the recent uprise of its price. So basically one of the reasons why it is also plunging, but eventually when bitcoins price drops down or stay stead after the fork they'll for sure buy again altcoins back.
