402  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: August 20, 2017, 07:26:24 AM
I don't think that the paper money is facing any competition from cryptocurrency as conventional money can be used offline but crypto can't be used offline. Moreover, crypto are not that popular and its acceptance is also very low so i don't think it will be able to replace paper money anytime soon.

406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash take over Ethereum? on: August 18, 2017, 08:44:32 AM
I don't think Bitcoin cash will surpass ethereum simply because of the fact that ethereum has features like smart contract, low transaction fees and it is one of the most popular cryptocurrency in the market. Ethereum is the platform on which most ICOs are based on right now. Bitcoin cash has no such features.

I don't think cryptocurrencies can replace regular currencies simply because crypto don't work offline whereas regular currency does. Moreover, crypto are decentralized and the government would not allow the decentralized system to take over their centralized system, the one government can control.
