401  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Bitcoin actually just a Pump and Dump? on: November 16, 2017, 02:34:38 AM
So it was a huge pump and dump afterall huh. Well accomplished, scammers. Effectively done.
Bitcoin is not a pump and dump, bitcoin is just like any other asset and the price can change and since bitcoin is so new then the price has a tendency to move a lot some people see this as a scam but it is not they are just bitter because they have lost so much money due to their own mistakes.
In the market, the definition about dump and pump is normally for any asset, pair trading and Bitcoin is also a pair trading affected by this rule. Before investing anything, you have to remember accept the risk of investment, accept your loss in future ...
Very well said which is actually true, Pump and dump schemes are common and also it do signifies that we do have a healthy market but in the situation of bitcoin I can say that it cant be manipulated easily but somehow can make some effects on price movements if a certain group would decide if they would either accumulate or secure profits. Its just like that and as a trader and investors we do know how to ride with those bumps.

Indeed! Pump and dump is the ņormal and common situation in trading. It is because of the flow of the increasing demand of bitcoin. A good trader must know how to handle those kind of situation.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: November 16, 2017, 02:30:49 AM
that someone must be special one! a rich one ! giving you a bitcoin a 1 BITCOIN is not a joke unless he/she just incorrectly put an address which you were so lucky to be the one !

Lol! I am the happiest person if that will happen to me. Receiving one btc is truly a great blessing and putting some fund in your wallet for any reasons is a great blessing too!  Grin
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 16, 2017, 02:27:31 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?
If they are billionnaires already, why bother bitcoin? It will bena waste of their time or can take up much of their time. Time is very essential to billionnaires because effective management of it will make them more money. So i guess instead of them investing in bitcoin, they will invest it to other businesses instead.

Bitcoin is an easy money. Some billionaires still want to invest because they want to keep their wealth intact or they want to double or triple.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: November 16, 2017, 02:24:18 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

Corruption by greedy people but not by government, yes.  It is evident because there are many investment sites that promises high profit, high return of invested btc in just a short period of time.  It is like 10% interest on your btc everyday.  That percentage is really big that is why many will invest.  After awhile or just before a month, it will turn out to be a scam.
That's another thing I guess, HYIP has already created a bad reputation and investors are not really investing it hoping for a long term success but they just want to gamble with the short term and hoping they can get their ROI with a little profit and just leave the HYIP.
Maybe when bitcoin was still new there are a lot of victims with this kind of scams but people are much wiser now.
I often see bitcoin used for negative things, such as gambling, illegal transactions, and much more. I think there are some people who use bitcoin as a tool of corruption, well we never know the evil intentions of a person, or a group.

True, bitcoin can be use for illegal matters and corruption as well. A lot of people are now currently involve in illegal doings. Even a politician, a rich people or ordinary people can do it as long as they have the skills.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: November 16, 2017, 02:11:10 AM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

It will not happen. Bitcoin will remain and rule the crypto currency. For how many years bitcoin proves  that no fake news can defeat the increasing demand of bitcoin.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: November 16, 2017, 02:00:50 AM
of course, not even just Paypal, maybe many others will also use bitcoin as a means of payment.

That is correct, many will most likely use bitcoin as mode of payment because it is more convenient and easy to use. I can also use it to pay for the services rendered if someone will agree with that payment conditions.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: November 16, 2017, 01:56:04 AM
Of course, all chances are there and open, nothing perfect, the coins that now look good will be refined with another coin. but it seems like it takes a long time to replace bitcoin because bitcoin market cap is currently the largest.

None of the existing altcoins will have any significant impact on Bitcoin!
This is whisful thinking. None of those will replace Bitcoin.
The big money is moving into Bitcoin right now. With big money I mean the Wall Street and the institutional money.
Bitcoin will continue rising like crazy. Most alts will act like penny stocks imo. They are mostly used to make more Bitcoin with it.
They will rise in terms of USD. But most of them will continue to lose against BTC, with some up and down swings of course due to natural market behaviour.

I WANT TO BELIEVE! And I am still a believer in BTC - however:
Last Sundays BCH Attack far exceeded anything I could have imagined.

What if the next pump is even stronger? And the one after that?

One day => BCH Flippening?

Dont get me wrong I am in NO WAY trying to promote Bitcoin Trash here. I HATE  that centralized pseudocryptocurrency bullshit.

I am also one of the believers of bitcoin and  i am also worried about the recent happening Iike somebody is trying to manipulate the pump of certain coin,  i am trying to keep calm and think it in a positive way that btc will certainly recover, and btc is back now.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: November 16, 2017, 01:35:43 AM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

To be honest, no one in this world can do anything to assure you that bitcoin or the whole cryoto world will never ever end. That's just how it is.

Bitcoin does not need to prove anything that it has already proven. Let them talk and talk about all sorts of bullshit asich as they want. They will be the ones stressed out while we, the crypto people enjoy the perks of being in the crypto world laughing at their insecured and jealous faces.

So don't be so worried about them. They don't matter. What matters is what we do.

I like this one, "don't be so worried about them. They don't matter. What matters is what we do." This is true, as long as i am doing the right thing, i am earning, whatever other may tell about bitcoin doesn't matter anymore. I will do what is important for my future. They can't help me to have a better future but i can help myselp to have a better one.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: November 16, 2017, 01:27:38 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

I think, any coin would end up losing their value if people would stop buying and using it. Anything that people wouldn't want to use will eventually lose its value, this doesn't only apply to bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies but to everything which people are using.

For me, I think bitcoin will end if there no people who doesnt use this. If there is no people who doesnt need this but I guess Theres no people who doesnt need this. And One thing is if the value of bitcoins price will loss then many people will discourage about this, then it will be the reason that bitcoin will end. We have different reason and that was just my opinion.

We are all have our different opinion towards bitcoin but as long as we keep on believing that bitcoin can give us some benefits for our future definitely bitcoin will not die.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: November 16, 2017, 01:22:11 AM
It's getting higher and higher this time. Comparing thd price of btc early this year up to now is very different.

The question is, will btc will continue to increase this coming 2018? Can we earn more this coming year?
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: November 16, 2017, 01:19:08 AM
Long Term: Bitcoins
Short Term: Altcoins

Bitcoins is the first cryptocurrency, and that makes it the most trusted and used amongst all the other altcoins, so its the most safe to get hold of. However, since the price is so high right now, don't expect it to increase tenfold in the next few years as it would be a little unrealistic, but possible though.

Altcoins, or Initial Coin Offerings (ICO), can have potential if researched upon, which makes it more profitable, however, there are many scamcoins revolving about ICOs and altcoins, making it more risky than having Bitcoin.

It is up to you, but if you are new to BTC, I suggest getting some Bitcoin first. Smiley

I agree, all the information are correct. For me, when you are new and want to invest, i will choose to invest in bitcoin for in time it  will increase and earn a profit.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: November 16, 2017, 01:13:30 AM
All things are possible and can be done by someone that is willing to do and hack your wallet. Better to observe and check before you click in every site that you visit.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Stuck! on: November 14, 2017, 11:59:27 PM
Yes because someone to flooded the blockchain with garbage transactions. It might be people behind BCH,  the number contender coin of Bitcoin BTC.

My bitcoin transaction has been stuck for more than 12 hours now : https://blockchain.info/tx/1f15ef9777583192ae469a961f63d2d9be57d0d7524740ab7eb10206efd75e0a

Whats the best option? There is not enough BTC so i can't double spend. I have permission of receiver to withdraw funds if required because the receiver is still waiting for 1 confirmation.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitConnect is a SCAM? on: November 14, 2017, 11:58:33 PM
I guess, Once it reach its target fund,  it will close down. Its like other ponzi site who scam people.

I hope i was wrong for this thinking and looking forward for the better news about bitconnect.
415  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you believe in your government? on: November 14, 2017, 11:56:26 PM

416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: November 14, 2017, 11:52:41 PM
There is no doubt ltc would go up but it needs to go down hard first before it would go moon.  If you are looking for a big market cap coin that will sure to rise up i would recommend you to buy ZEC and ETC .

What do you think about LTC? Its price go up soon?
Is this time to buy LTC?
417  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: November 14, 2017, 11:49:19 PM
This is the future of our monetary system to have a cashless society. We are on its way,  infact having a credit card,  paypal and other digital money is a one step forward to a cashless system.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My ICO for this month on: November 14, 2017, 11:46:11 PM
I found the spectre to be a good ICO for this month because it unites cryptocurrency and forex. It allows you to trade forex using your crypto coins.

Hi,

This month there is a pre-ico for Blunner.
I see a lot of projects with a small market, but I think this one is really big.

https://www.blunner.com

What do you think?
419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: November 14, 2017, 11:43:46 PM
A spare atleast 10% of my money income into bitcoin investment. I keep buying bitcoin even the price is high. I believe someday bitcoin will rise a dozen of times of its current price now.

Hello, as we all know that Bitcoin is heading straight to the moon. Me, as an employee, do also invest with this cryptocurrency, and I kinda need to divide all of my salary for my needs, and on how much should I invest in? Let's talk about percentage. Anyone?
