401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 30, 2019, 10:16:44 AM
Regulations will have a positive impact in the investor since they feel that they are safe
when its regulated , there will be manipulations that will happen, where in you bought bitcoin in as higher price
and see it after a few hours go down imagine what it gives to the investors heart , they will be devastated
when they have found out that they don't have the money anymore,
for example i have a friend who put all he's retirement's money on bitcoin during the all time high
believing the news that it will reach up to $50k only to find out and woke up that the market collapse
also some of my friends bought a miner then the next day they can't make any profit and the price of the miner
is so expensive, but at the end of the day everything is risky so always think and plan everything before making a
move that will change you life forever
what do you think will the regulation bring forth to us?
How come it is connected to the regulations?
Your friends investment went down and it is not connected to bitcoin having a regulations ,
And for the record Bitcoin is created to be decentralized and to be free from the government and I think that is the main reason why there are some who supports it even in it's early days.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: September 29, 2019, 01:30:19 PM
Sure after all we already trust our crypto in their hardware wallet so why not trust in their own project or crypto,
But what would be the tokens role in the crypto industry?
I think I would just invest a small amount at first and see how it could be used in the device.
403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2019, 11:45:51 AM
You shouldn't ask for financial advice here on the forums because people tend to give advice based on their opinion and beliefs regarding the market but If your goal is long term investment as you're saying, then, in my opinion (a lot might disagree), you should accumulate as much as you can, regardless of the current price because no one could predict the price. You should also keep in mind that the halving is going to occur in ~250 days and that would mean less bitcoin in circulation so more people will be buying before that, and the price might not drop as you're expecting.

I agree if it is for long term then you really need to buy as much as you could ,
Because we don't really know how much it could drop so don't set your price on when to buy it,
Because you might just miss more opportunity while waiting .
And don't let the panic get the best of you there are some who would say that they are investing for the long term but when the market crash they would also dump their investment.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: September 29, 2019, 08:55:20 AM
Before investors are everywhere in crypto currency specially mid 2017 but everything change
Ico's started to boom in the internet, you can choose a lot
of ico that you like, but then started to change , there are ico that are scam, running with investors money in a snap, lending platforms also can be seen, the same happens they suddenly disappear
we have already have a very good market if there are no scammers
they change everything, now investors are so hesitant whenever there is a new coin that are good but they opted out because they think its a scam, I think we should find a way to lessen or better eliminate them for good.
Scam is the main reason why it is so hard to attract investors nowadays ,
You already said it nobody wants to be scammed and most of the investor are playing safe now.
To be honest since early in 2018 I lost too much investment in ICO and IEO I know it is my fault because I didn't try hard enough to figure out that they were a scam project.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: September 29, 2019, 07:38:26 AM
I don't see a point in risking your money on the team which you already know that would lose the fight?
You are betting to gain money and your club should also know about it since you also know that the opponent have a greater chance of winning so it shouldn't hurt their feelings.
Back when DOTA 1 was so popular and it is being used to gamble my friends would also try to win some but if I know that their opponent is much stronger then I would just bet my money on the opponent,
It shouldn't really be a problem unless you are also playing in the game.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 29, 2019, 06:51:22 AM
If i am right shitcoins have been in existence since the earlier days of coins like bitcoin and litecoin, some coins came into crypto space as early as 2011 and they vanished into thing air, failed project or scam maybe, but now that crypto is been heard of all around the globe so what do you expect? scammers will invade of cos but these won't stop good projects from been born even when 90percent of projects are failing, my advice is just be sure of what you are investing on, make sure they have what it takes and have it at the back of your mind that its still a risk you've taken, anything can happen
I think you are right they have been around since crypto community started but the only difference is that back then there aren't too many shit coins and you could spot it easily,
But now since there are initial offering we have to wait till it is done and see if they would end up as a scam or not.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: How long can you endure? on: September 28, 2019, 10:55:28 AM
I think I could endure it and wait till it hits another all time high after all we have seen the worst and I think I could endure it even if it hits another huge dump,
I have survived it so why shouldn't I continue to hold ?
The problem here is how would you manage it ?
Most of us would panic and sell but not for those who truly believes in crypto ,
We are investing for the long term so those dump wouldn't even bother us specially if you wouldn't sell your crypto.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: September 28, 2019, 10:00:29 AM
Dangers inside crypto investing
People may ask: Should I do invest in the cryptocurrencies by using my life earning and savings? Or should I take a loan out? Since I heard that the returns are so great!”

First off, that is really an extremely horrible idea. Cryptocurrency volatility can kill your pocket and rapidly reduce all your hard-earned investments.

Read : https://paperblockchain.com/what-are-the-dangers-in-cryptocurrency-investing/
Danger inside the cryptocurrency investing is ,
Investing without a plan just joining because it is on trend or investing without even considering the risk.
We shouldn't just invest in something just because we have seen someone gain from it we should also know the risk and do some plan in order to have a successful investment.
And always remember that invest only what you could afford to lose,
I don't think that it would be a good idea to invest your life earning or saving or even take a loan ,
Because those idea could really destroy you if your investment go bad.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Doing This? on: September 28, 2019, 08:32:33 AM
I want to ask all of you, do you share or give very private things (private key, passphrase, password and else) of Bitcoin to your family? I ask like this because I think if something bad happens to us (I personally hope it doesn't happen), it would be better if we pass down all the things from bitcoin that we have to our families. For example, when we have an accident that makes us comatose state (I hope it won't happen) at the hospital and we need medical expenses, it would be better if our wife or children can take money from the bitcoin that we have to use as our medical expenses.

I personally bequeath all my bitcoin knowledge to my family. I told them my bitcoin assets, how I made money from bitcoin, and also told them how to access them. All of this I did so that all of my bitcoin assets could be useful for my family. What about you guys, do you guys do the same with me?
Yes but not a copy of my private key but the place where I safely hide those wallets and also my wallet or exchanges account .
My Ether wallets are safe on my hard drive and both of my wife and brother knows how to open it or use it .
I think that it is better that way instead of keeping it to yourself and when something happen no one could use it .
410  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2019, 03:29:21 PM
SM Entertainment, one of the top entertainment company in Sout Korea is planning on making its own blockchain network.

Due to the shareholder revolt and a falling stock price of the company they wanted to create this, in order for the Artists and the company itself be able to directly interact with the fans and be more engaged in the entertainment ecosystem.

What are your thoughts? Do you think this will have a "major" impact?

For more info, refer to these articles: Korea’s Biggest Entertainment Company to Launch Its Own Cryptocurrency and K-Pop Music Giant SM Entertainment Is Planning Its Own Cryptocurrency
This could be use to gain more people in the crypto industry the only thing that bother's me is that they would surely attract non crypto people .
And for sure it could have a huge effect in the market  specially if those people goes into trading they could easily be manipulated or lose some money or be part of the people who easily dump their crypto when they hear some fake news.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: September 25, 2019, 10:11:30 AM
There are casinos in Europe that take bitcoin, and yes I m ;)ean physical casinos.

Check out Austria Casinos
Exactly, the idea isn't that outrageous. Just like we can purchase products from stores using BTC, physical casinos would/should also accept BTC in order to capture more of its customers. Though, one issue with this is that the volatility of the BTC market put people off from using their BTC in a less responsible manner  Wink
The volatility of crypto is the risk that the owner should take if they want to try this idea out.
But as a crypto earner I don't see the benefits of going into a casino just to gamble my crypto,
Of course other than playing with my friends but if that's just the case then why do we have to go to casino if we could do it on our own.
412  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favourite Tv series? on: September 22, 2019, 11:21:22 AM
I have watch some series and so far the one that caught my attention is Lucifer and The Blacklist.
But thanks to the others suggestion I would also try them some of my friends are telling me to watch the Prison Break maybe I would give it some try.
413  Other / Off-topic / Re: Different ways to increase your crypto-balance on: September 22, 2019, 09:20:40 AM
Not so long ago, approximately at June, I got really tired of trying to earn crypto on price changes and started seeking for something new.

Turnes out there are plenty of ways to do it, but not really much for regular people who have a little bit of crypto.
I selected the two that I liked the most: crypto casinos and blockchain games.

First one requires KYC most of the time which sucks.
Blockchain games in turn don’t require any identification but you can’t earn much there either. I have fun playing games but I tend to gamble
more which is way less interesting and  entertaining.

Gambling or games? What would you guys choose and why? I’d also liked to hear where do you guys gamble or what you play currently.
I don't really recommend gambling as a way to increase your crypto .
If you really want to increase your portfolio or your crypto do it on trading on on gambling.
There are only small percent of people who wins in gambling and most of the time gamblers tend to lose because of their greed or having so much fun on the game,
But if you really want to gamble I think you should know what kind of gambling suits you for example betting most of the time the gamblers here dedicate some time to analyze the team or the game .
414  Other / Off-topic / Re: You are locked in a room for 30 days... on: September 20, 2019, 02:37:51 AM
You are locked in a room for 30 days with $0, a computer, and access to internet. You must earn $3000 or you die. What do you do?

I love this question so freaking much.

Because if someone takes the time to give a thoughtful answer, it’s not just a funny reply.

It’s a playbook to build a real business that can help you save up some extra cash (fast), pay off debt, go on a dream vacation, check off a bucket list item or walk into your boss’s office and tell them “I’m fucking done.”

Seriously? A $0 into $3000 in just 30 days?
WTF are you going to do scam some people in the internet ? use the 30 days to work like a robot without a rest just to earn $3000 out of nowhere?
I don't really think that it is possible if someone would be given this task surely that person would just die.
$0-3000 even if the foods and everything is free it seem's really impossible.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee talks Libra, Privacy Coins, SwitchDex, The Gods Of Crypto And More! on: September 20, 2019, 01:49:43 AM
Are you guys still interested in the opinion of McAfee or nah

Nah. He's just a crazy dude who is a bit famous because of his antivirus, he doesn't have much merit in crypto, so why should I value his opinion? He was shilling shitcoins in the past, and also supported bcash, that alone is enough to make a person untrustworthy. Plus he is famous for making outlandish statements in crypto, like how he'd eat his dick if BTC won't reach 300k in 2020.
Well this statement is enough for most of us in crypto community no more words for me  to add up,
Because it is all true Mcafee is famous for his anti virus and famous in crypto community for making some high prediction and promises and most of his prediction is always wrong so why would we even get interested in his crypto opinion?

417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Digital Currency can Activate Someone's Financial Freedom? on: September 19, 2019, 04:40:15 AM
This is delusional.
You won't achieve financial freedom by trading mining or buying and holding. Unless if you already have  a LOT of money and you are willing to risk all that money in those risky activities.

Bitcoin won't increase its price by 10.000% again. Ok, it may happen, but are you willing to take the risky?

Let's suppose you need 1 million dollars to achieve your financial freedom.

So if you invest 100k USD in btc (10 BTC), and if the price goes to 100.000 USD per BTC, you have achieved your goal.

But do you have all that money? Are you willing to do all in strategy? It isn't worth, because the price may go down as well

OP's aspirations are not impossible as we've witnessed some people did in fact achieved financial freedom by doing those things. Also, financial freedom and the feeling or its achievement is not the same for everyone since its highly subjective. Some don't even have to be required to invest a huge amount of money just to attain it. Imho.
I agree we could use crypto to earn and make some more business not just in crypto but also in real life.
Of course we shouldn't just rely on crypto we should also have some back up's in real life so the title could be true,
Crypto or Digital currency can activate someone's financial freedom it just all depends on how they would handle it.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sad News: Kidnappers now requesting bitcoin as ransom in Nigeria on: September 18, 2019, 09:34:15 PM
And how could the people know that the kidnapper's would release their hostage?
They want to make the transaction much more easier for them so that they couldn't be tracked.
What if the ranson got paid and the kidnappers didn't give the hostage back?
419  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Video Game Addiction, a very real problem. on: September 16, 2019, 05:38:26 AM
Video games are designed to make you hooked and extract as much as they can from you.  You are slaves on the world they created, wasting your consciousness away on a virtual world.  And the grinding games are the absolute worst, its just the same gameplay over and over.

If it is about the money that the player spent on video games then it is their problem.
To be honest some of us are only having a real fun in the virtual world .
But we also have to control it we should always remember that having too much is a bad thing.
The problem isn't really the video game it is the person it self if they couldn't control their self in spending too much on video games then don't blame the game,
It is their decision and to be honest some of us are spending time playing video games in order to earn from the game.
There are some online games that some players are using in order to have some profit.
420  Other / Politics & Society / SOGIE BILL or Anti-Discrimination Bill on: September 12, 2019, 09:47:14 PM
Hi I just want to know your opinion on this matter the "SOGIE BILL" or anti-discrimination bill.
Some say's that it is anti discrimination but for me it seem's to be a discrimination bill for the straight people.
To be honest I have some friends who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and I find this bill to be a bad one here in the Philippines.
There are already some LGBTQ+ who are showing an aggressive behavior even though this bill hasn't been approved .
Some of the LGBTQ+ are really going to abuse this law once it has been approved.
