4001  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is coinbase account safe for transaction? on: November 30, 2016, 12:09:29 PM
I am from such a country where online wallet not regulated.Coinbase is free of cost and confirm the transaction within a minute.I am happy to use it. If any  other problem have let me know.
It could get regulated in the future, doesn't matter which country you are from. They will have everything on record if you continue to use Coinbase.
Plus, I've read multiple stories of them freezing or terminating accounts of people, so I personally wouldn't trust them.

The fees you pay when using other wallets are just part of Bitcoin and it's not that much, I'd rather pay them than trusting Coinbase (or any other online wallet) with my coins.
4002  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: November 30, 2016, 12:04:37 PM
I've only been scammed once when trying to buy Bitcoin with a Ukash voucher, but luckily it was only for 10 euros.
I kinda anticipated it since the website didn't look too trustworthy from the start.
4003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2016, 10:13:56 PM
yes I think like that, so let's not assume that the election of Donald Trump will affect bitcoin existence for the future. because bitcoin has the nature of his own authority.

The election of Donald Trump as the POTUS will definitely have its effect, albeit a smaller one. For example, he is more likely than Hillary to allow Bitcoin exchanges and other businesses to operate legally. This can increase the user base of Bitcoins in the United States, thereby increasing the exchange rate.
And on what do you base this conclusion? I don't think it would matter too much, even if Hillary was elected, Bitcoin would still be able to exist, same with Trump.

Even with extra legislation around Bitcoin, it would change very little imo.
4004  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: November 25, 2016, 10:11:06 PM
I buy bitcoin because i see great future for the next coming years for it. The 750$ value of bitcoin now is not the peak price of it, i believe in the near future it will go 1000$ or even more. Once it happened many people will regret for not believing in bitcoin and to others also saying that it is fake or scam.
Uhm it's certain that $750 isn't the peak, because a few years ago the peak was around $1200.
I'm also pretty sure that it will go over $1000 in the near future again, but just saying that it wouldn't be the first time.
4005  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 25, 2016, 10:07:14 PM
The importance of Bitcoin goes beyond a means of speculation, but the price matters, by the fact that the miners have a cost to continue giving support to the network.
They are necessary to keep the network stable and usable for the users, and at the moment the costs to maintain mining operations is quite high.
I would say that the price could still go down quite a bit for miners to make a loss. Especially Chinese Miners who got their hardware for cheap and don't pay too much for electricity.
4006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: November 25, 2016, 10:05:25 PM
There are several altcoins like augur, zcash, as well eth and etc, which has a lot potencial and are the altcoins with huge interest on the last months, with that said, we could easy make good btc playing the pumps and dumps with those altcoins.
Pumps and dumps tend to be pretty high risk, I would not invest too much into them.
It's fine to invest into altcoins, but only stable ones or new ones if they have a reasonable roadmap.
4007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2016, 06:20:01 PM
Actually china is not controlling bitcoins .they are investing a lot of money in the mining of bitcoins .bitmain is the biggest company in the mining of bitcoins .well if u buy one of them u are likely to earn a lot of bitcoins .kudoo Smiley
A lot of people are saying that China is controlling most of the Bitcoin mining, and while that might be true, they are not controlling Bitcoin as a whole.
Plus a lot of people that are saying that China controls Bitcoin mining are really exaggerating.
4008  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 9 coins ★ 5 games ★ Since 2014 ★ 2.4 BTC Jackpot ★ Invest on: November 25, 2016, 05:54:16 PM
What?
My reaction exactly.

Pretty sure this just refers to the maximum win on a single dice bet, not any jackpot or anything.
That's what it says.

Maximum winning amount on single bet at dice is now 5 BTC!
Due to a rising bankroll size (and hence investors security), the maximum possible amount to be won in a single dice bet has been increased to 5BTC.
What you need to do for that? Place a bet at the according size/payout and win.

What was required to deposit in advance
Doubt you're gonna reach 5BTC from faucet, but hey, feel free to try.

And if there is a particular bonus to get the prize / bonus 5 BTC
Nobody said anything about a bonus.

what only one round on all bets in this Dice game, or many times will get a prize of this ..
After 220 winning bets at that size our bankroll is emptied up, so I guess that would be the limit Cheesy

Hey I reached 0.05 BTC from the faucet, twice, so I do think its possible to win the 5 BTC when playing with faucet withdraws Wink
4009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: November 25, 2016, 05:51:02 PM
if no one spends bitcoin maybe altcoins will be gone, but chances of that happening is very small, remember bitcoin is cryptocurrency a great for the future
Altcoin will gone and bitcoin will die, as such no one is spending money, I think it imposible, bitcoin created not to be stored but used for the transactions.

Chances are really small today that bitcoin will disappear cause of nobody will use it. Today popularity of bitcoin is only growing. Soon governments and banks will admit bitcoin and will start to work with it. But some big hacking can destroy everything and bitcoin will loose it's users.
This is all just too simple, some bg hack wouldn't destroy Bitcoin, we already survived Mt. Gox and other big hacks, so I don't think a big hack would be able to completely destroy Bitcoin.

And about governments and banks working with Bitcoin: I don't think that will ever happen, they're too much invested into being in control of their currency, so they wouldn't want anything to do with Bitcoin itself.
Blockchain =/= Bitcoin
4010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 25, 2016, 05:41:12 PM
Bitcoin is anonymous, so can be buying illegal drugs. But we can not justify buying illegal goods including drugs. It can make a lot of government angry and eventually the use of bitcoin including unlawful.
yes may be bitcoin is also used for illegal drugs but i think no one can proof it because of its anonymous character, but as all other fiat currencies are also used for anonymous character therefore it may also be used for same purpose.
There doesn't need to be proof of it, I think it's fairly obvious that Bitcoin is being used for a lot of illegal things, there's no point in denying that's true.

We need to focus more on the positive things that are being done with Bitcoin, but denying the negative and criminal stuff won't do us any good.
4011  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 25, 2016, 05:37:46 PM
Gold reserves based on crypto thats number of its quantity is fixed would be ideal. But sadly we dont live in a perfect world. It would have good sites of both assets.
Why would that be perfect? That would seem like a perfect way to scam people, real crypto isn't based on anything but math, and I'm glad it's like that.

I wouldn't trust any crypto currency that was based on 'real' gold.
4012  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: November 25, 2016, 05:35:22 PM
Some altcoins just have huge potencial, soo selling them now makes no sense at all, you could be wasting a great opportunity to get a good ammount of bitcoins if you hold. Even knowing bitcoin is achieving biggers ammounts we will see most altcoins readjusting their price, and those its something we all know that happens. Sometimes there is a good pump that may let us dump our coins at the best rates but i believe save the coins is the best for now.
Not all coins are good for saving, there are other coins that does not have a good future value, if you will ask me I will only save bitcoins as it has been proven already for many years that the value increase overtime. When it drops it will follow another pump, that's how strong bitcoin is.
I agree.. some coins aren't valuable enough. bitcoins is becoming stable when it comes to a high price value. So it's really better to save bitcoins than any other coins.. then sell some of it if the price really go above.

Yes, I, too, is not willing to sell Bitcoins because the price for it is growing. now it is better to reserve Bitcoin. so you do not regret the fact that it sold
I don't know, it all depends on your personal situation, I would not hold a grudge against people who are selling Bitcoins with a profit because they just need the fiat money.

Some people are probably in profit already, no harm in selling part of your Bitcoin holdings.
4013  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: November 25, 2016, 05:32:28 PM
The best way is to divide our money in some places, don't just put it in one place. We should also have to be investing for the future, the investment could form real like stock, land, gold and more. Bitcoin is one alternative investment for long term.

Dividing your money into many parts is a good plan to manage money. Unfortunately not all of us are capable of dividing money in more parts. Some could only divide it into two, For food, and the other part is for everything. Worst, there are people who could only use their whole money for food.
You're talking about people from third world countries, because practically everyone from a rich country (European countries or USA) can find ways to save up a part of their funds and save it.
4014  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Blockchain Venture We're Launching! on: November 25, 2016, 05:29:51 PM
Stay tuned. More Details coming early next week!

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-charlie-shrem-launch-intellisys-capital/
Oh look! It is another ICO project but this time it won't be based on speculation but instead when you own a token it will be a piece of a hard asset.
I like the premise of Shrem's plan but until I see working idea in action I would hold my vote and certainly won't invest in it.
If it's legit, it seems to be more reliable than most of the previous and current ICO's based on some other form of digital currency.
I quite like this project and hope it will be more stable than some of the previous IPO's I've seen.
4015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: November 25, 2016, 05:26:03 PM
16 hours does not seem very usable to me  Tongue

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689151.0
What is the normal amount of bitcoins transactions in queue? Currently it is close to 30000 transactions.
I have a transaction waiting for over 16 hours now. It has a fee, so am I guarenteed that it will be confirmed?

view the queue length here
https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

 Cool

FYI:
38605 Unconfirmed Transactions as of this post , it is getting worse.
Oh god, that will get solved soon, you haven't been around long enough to see that this is just a temporary problem.
A few days ago it was more than 50.000 unconfirmed transactions, so for me, it's getting better.

We'll forget all about this in less than 2 weeks.
4016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Circle CEO on BTC: Nobody Will Be Using Bitcoin in 5 to 10 Years on: November 25, 2016, 05:23:48 PM
Some companies are just getting into Bitcoin right now, I think it's still too early to make a statement like that.
Bitcoin has a lot of potential, I can't imagine what will happen if we see another economic crisis.
4017  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 25, 2016, 05:21:06 PM

Well, you have to dream to become rich, that's should be your goal so time will come you will take your trading in a more serious level. We need to be ambition enough as in crypto world there's no limit here.

Correct, to have an ambition or dreams is not a problem. Attaining it is another story. Their are many ways to attain it and some qualities include to be patient, determined to reach it,there were sacrifices to be made, motivation etc.

I agree with you mate. becoming rich is not easy you have to work hard and the sample of qualities are indicated above. Bitcoin is one of the best way to make you rich and it really requires a lot of work and time. This is also my goal to become rich in bitcoins.

It's not about working hard, it's about working smart. Hard work usually does not make people rich.. you need to find a way to make profit for the least effort possible.

Of course right now making as much bitcoin as possible through hard work is the best thing you can do in lack of better ideas to get rich quicker. It will take us at least 10 years to see huge gains with bitcoin again.
I don't know about that, hard work can make someone rich, if you do the right kind of work.

Even hard physical labour could make you rich, if you save enough. Maybe not in the USA but in Europe even people doing low-wage jobs earn enough to become 'rich' one day.
4018  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 25, 2016, 05:16:37 PM
Kids can earn bitcoin through some games found on playstore or promoted on some forums. But letting kids earn bitcoin is not just right because they are too young to earn money. Their mind is not into money on that age. They should should just be playing with their friends or family while they are still young. They will discover it themselve once they want to earn their own money like myself. Smiley
Totally disagree with that statement. Kids should learn about money from a young age and shielding them from the real world would do them no good.

Just hoping that they will discover everything themselves isn't a good way to go about it imo.
4019  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 25, 2016, 04:44:17 PM
Some people does use their accounts to get loans of 50 dollars but usually its ammounts lower then those, just some people are able to get bigger loans like 100-200 dollars here, but i do believe this loans wont help with the problem. The best way to handle the situation would be try to find a part time to earn a bit more then the current salary.
Yeah, I don't understand why people would choose to get a loan from the forum for such low amounts, I think it's mostly to get trust to prepare for a scam or something like that.

Though there could be legitimate cases where you don't have access to money for a short time and need some Bitcoin.
4020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 25, 2016, 04:40:54 PM
You can give Bitcoin to homeless people now.
It looks like even they started using it.:-)
Look at below
https://imgur.com/gallery/Y2eRs
I wouldn't use "they" as that is just one guy and he's not a representative of all the homeless people in the world. Look at the sign, it's not the original sign that he's using. Someone must've put it there to put the photo on the internet and get some attention. Probably put it there just for the sake of fun. Personally, I haven't seen a homeless person have a phone, let alone a smartphone. They don't have the money to buy one and even if someone gives them a phone, they don't know how to use it and they don't have a place to charge it. It would just be a waste.
Most homeless people actually do have a phone and they also have access to the internet occasionally.
I know this because I've lived in Brussels for quite some time and talked to a lot of homeless people there, I know it's just one city and it may not be like this everywhere, but a phone is not that expensive, even a mid-tier smartphone.
