4001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 31, 2017, 07:46:59 AM
so far my prediction about the 3rd test between England and South Africa, the host will get another win against South Africa, it seems too difficult to chase for them because at the final day 375 runs is a massive target though they have 6 wickets remaining, I can't expect anything wins of England.

South Africa or even England as of recent has not yielded a win on chase and the fourth innings in every match are the lowest scorer. It's hard for the visiting team to hold their 6 wickets in the last day.
4002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or Waves on: July 31, 2017, 07:42:22 AM
If you have to choose between one, go with waves, it's still in it's initial phase and has established itself as a platform within the ethereum platform.
LTC on the other hand is always in the rise but it is an old currency which has no any significance difference from other of its kinds.
4003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coin !? on: July 31, 2017, 03:16:08 AM
The rise in price of dogecoin is only due to rise in the value of bitcoins. Dogecoins as will have a constant supply for ever, is not good for investment.
But they are a good coin for everyday use with low transaction fees and quick transactions.
4004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and altcoins after segwit on: July 30, 2017, 03:00:26 PM
There's no plan for segwit as yet. But it may occur in the near future. And it would be much better for bitcoin and the community.
Bitcoin needs segwit or similar fork for stay reasonable and usable.
4005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best crypto currency at this time? on: July 30, 2017, 10:45:26 AM
Best in what sense?
If you are talking about usability and better prospectus, It's certainly bitcoins.
If you are talking about investment, Still the least risky one would be bitcoins.
4006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: POLONIEX & BITTREX on: July 30, 2017, 10:38:50 AM
What exchange would you recommend?

Polenix and Bittrex are the top two exchanges.
They have the largest user base but you can easily list your coin paying a fee.

If you need a comparison, Polenix is better than Bittrex.
If you can't afford them for listing your coin, or want others, yobit and cryptopia are other options.

4012  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is the suggested amount of starting investment on bitcoins? on: July 27, 2017, 06:33:11 AM
How much is the suggested amount of starting investment on bitcoins? In United States Dollar currency please or Philippine Peso.

and also, is it better to invest in bitcoin rather than investing in stocks?

Stocks are very much similar to Bitcoins. holding bitcoins have higher possibility of growth while stocks gives you yearly dividend and bonus.
If you are able to hold as well as earn from bitcoin that would be better.

There is no small or large amount for investment. It depends on how much you can afford (like stocks you should also be ready for complete loss which though have a negligible possibility).

4015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: July 26, 2017, 10:47:18 AM

Ethereum is a huge platform now.
Even if it were a scam, that doesn't matter much now as it has established itself in the market.
Value is what users give. If people don't use bitcoin, it too will have no value.
Better you sell it

The great Putin is with ethereum

And Singapore government too is intrested.

4016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: July 25, 2017, 11:04:45 PM
You can't win using martingale system, you will lose at the end.
However you can try your luck with antimartingale system playing odds 2X or higher and raising bet on win.
It's better than martingale imo.
Why not you can go for trying your luck with martingale strategy itself ? When you are believing in to your luck factor then there will be no differences between martingale strategy and any other modified version of it. I have made profits with martingale strategy many times but all the times I went for manual gambling.
Because martingale isn't about luck, it's about how long will you last until you miss more than 15 times in a row and sooner or later you will.
Anti-martingale(or reverse martingale) is something different, you need to hit 15 or more in the row to win but when you do you will win big(It's double or nothing method). If you can miss 15 or more in row than you should suppose that you can win 15 or more in a row.
yes , when you use martingale continuously there is no luck can always beside you.

you know why? the longer you play using martingale , the higher your chance to lost everything. as the house edge will always eat everything around . a little bit better when you use martingale in sportsbetting , but still it come with high risk as always.

One of my successful martingale strategy.

Set one tenth of your bankroll as maximum bet amount as well as the maximum profit.
In this way either you gain one tenth or lose one tenth.
Repeat.
4017  Economy / Gambling / Re: ZoomDice.com - Bitcoin Dice Site (Dogecoin Added Today) on: July 25, 2017, 10:03:44 PM
It's hard to trust for large sums to a new site. You can add an option on the site itself for investing in bankroll. In that way you may get a lot of small investors to increase your bankroll.
4018  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 9 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ New - Litecoin lottery! on: July 25, 2017, 09:56:58 PM
Any plans on supporting/giving Bitcoin Cash (BCC) to people who have balances on the site?
Follow our blog Wink

If there are several resulting chains, things are a bit more complicated. Crypto-Games plans to give investors access to their coins on all resulting chains. As a service, we already experienced a chain split with ETC/ETH some time back. Investors were asked to provide ETC addresses and we made payments the amount of their active investments at the time of the split. We continued to accept ETH on the site and as bankroll.
The situation for BTC will be similar. Crypto-Games will request addresses from investors for any resulting chain we no longer support. We will then pay out their share of forked coins.

Okay, thanks. Good to know you guys are ontop of things.

Glad crypto-games is handling this situation better than many online wallets and this is what everyone expected from one of the most trusted crypto gambling site. But still we can see a huge panic withdrawal from the bankroll.
4019  Other / Meta / Re: This site take 2.3$ from me ? on: July 25, 2017, 11:12:14 AM
I never heard about this situation before, so that mean if I use a VPN to long into my bitcointalk account I have to paid ?

No that is just one time payment for ids that are created from known VPS/VPN/Tor IPs. An already registered ID can visit the forum from anywhere and is not required to pay any fees.
4020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How do I mine? on: July 25, 2017, 11:00:11 AM
I have a mac pro (top specs) and I would like to mine some alt coins.

I have the code needed but I don't know where to put/execute it.

Can someone help?

Thanks.

Which Alt are you trying to mine?
Mining is done through miners. Some Alts comes with miner in their wallets. And some provide binaries to do so. For a established coin, you would need to do mining trough a pool. And the miner are different for different types of coins.
