Sorry that I'm posting this again, but I'd just like to know if my suggestion from a while back has a possibility of being added. You might just have missed it or decided that it's not something worth adding, no problem in any case. Just like to know I have a suggestion for a new feature to the website: It would be pretty neat if it was possible to lock investments for a certain amount of time, perhaps for a fixed amount of time (1 week, 30 days, 3 months,...)
There might be some downsides to it, like people asking to reverse the lock in chat, but it would also be good for the website as there would be more long term investments. For some people it would be really helpful to not be able to touch their investment.
Anyway, I just got the idea when reading through some posts about people having very little self-control, so I guess it's something a lot of people struggle with.
We thought about adding it but decided not to implement this feature since many users will write us with wish or even demand to cancel their investment before end date. We have divestment fees and many think twice before canceling investments. Yeah, completely understand that it would possibly be too much of a hassle for support. Still, it was worth it to mention it, because the idea itself is pretty interesting. I'm not going to try to change your mind or anything, but just going to give my 2 cents on that issue. If something like that would be implemented with enough warnings alongside it, support could just ignore messages that ask to reverse the investment. You'd probably get some unwarranted scam accusations, but everybody would easily figure out that you're right. Also, I'd implement a double confirmation to be able to lock an investment, so people won't be able to do it by accident. Thanks for reviewing it though Based on our experience many users don't read at all (because of language barrier or they're just too lazy to read). So even making huge warning signs and multiple confirmations won't help much But thanks for suggestions! Fair enough! Thanks! I've also noticed that you've started adding the links of the randompicker results of the lottery. Definitely good to add those. Just want to know if you're doing it all manually or using the API? Doesn't matter that much, just that I'd trust the results from the API a bit more than the manual ones. But paying 400 dollars a year wouldn't be too cost efficient, I guess Linking to randompicker is from the first lottery draw We do all draws manually...lottery is not giving us any profit, since it's EV+ of 1% and most probably we'll stay at handjob Then it's just me who hadn't noticed until now Since the lottery is actually +EV, it makes sense not to invest in a paid API package from randompicker. With the links included, I guess it's honest, unless you'd run the numbers multiple times (literally the only way I see how you could cheat this). Sorry, I'm just being extremely paranoid about these things, it's what happens when you lose multiple times in a row, just variance though

Also the rate of exchanging coins is too big.
Nobody forces you to use the in-built exchange system. However, there are several advantages, as it's instant, you avoid both waiting and transaction fees from and to an exchange. It should be obvious that a gambling site can't compete with rates on dedicated exchange platforms. The whole system is built in-house without any 3rd party being involved. Withdraw fees for btc are the same.
"withdraw fees" are bitcoin network fees. The site uses the 21.co API to determine suggestions, and you can adjust your fees based on your preferences. If you dislike the fact that bitcoin transactions became more expensive over the last year, the site offers 8 other coins, including doge with fees as low as 1 doge (72 sat).

Is there any reason why Crypto-Games doesn't feature batch withdrawals as additional option? Many casinos and exchanges do this with fees as low as 0.0001 BTC per user, which is way lower than usual transaction fees. It creates some delay, but I think many people would wait a few hours to save ~0.001 BTC.

If players can what for transaction being confirmed slowly, they can currently choose minimum fees as low as 0.00052 BTC.

Follow our blog If there are several resulting chains, things are a bit more complicated. Crypto-Games plans to give investors access to their coins on all resulting chains. As a service, we already experienced a chain split with ETC/ETH some time back. Investors were asked to provide ETC addresses and we made payments the amount of their active investments at the time of the split. We continued to accept ETH on the site and as bankroll. The situation for BTC will be similar. Crypto-Games will request addresses from investors for any resulting chain we no longer support. We will then pay out their share of forked coins.

LOL, I'm really glad that you don't I've always been advocating for being able to choose transaction speed on your website (You can even check the chat logs for that ) If you would give the option to do batch transactions for an even lower fee, I'd think you'd end up with a lot of complaints from people who didn't realize it would be that slow. Since the lottery is actually +EV, it makes sense not to invest in a paid API package from randompicker. With the links included, I guess it's honest, unless you'd run the numbers multiple times (literally the only way I see how you could cheat this).

Not that I didn't trust Crypto-Games ofc, just have to take every possible scenario into account Just being fair towards myself and other users...

Glad crypto-games is handling this situation better than many online wallets and this is what everyone expected from one of the most trusted crypto gambling site. But still we can see a huge panic withdrawal from the bankroll. While nobody should have to worry about keeping their funds on CryptoGames during the fork, having your coins in addresses you control the private keys to is the better option. Someone who eg wants to sell their BCC as soon as possible might prefer to handle things themselves and not be subject to the dirstibution speed of CG. On the other hand, it's a very comfortable way. Keeping your funds on CG means you can get BCC on an exchange account without having to install a BCC client and import keys there, as CG is taking care of all those thing. I think that's a good way, especially for those who are new to bitcoin or just not as versed technologically as the average bitcoiner.

I know this highly dependents on the events on 1. august but just in case of a split do you think you will need several days/weeks or would you guess you can manage the distribution in a fast pace?
