The picture omitted the important fact that I buy up all the coins every day, and the fraud will be perpetuated as long as I have money. Request addition. I'm sure you've heard of the proverb of what happens between FOOLS<->MONEY....

One very positive thing is .....there is a hell of alot of interest in Darkcoin.... $600,000.00 worth of trading value! wow... I suspect there is some serious things afoot. cool! So when is the youtube infomercial on darkcoin coming out?
Very uncool, if the price ranges like that only because somebody made a bigger transaction. Somebody put the coin to work, buying, darksending, liquidating. Should be everyday's business. Very poor on the liquidity. We'll probably see that more often. So this round worked, ready for the next one?

I'm still confident this coin will take out BTC once the software is complete and proven usable. Bitcoin is just not needed anymore then and DRK is by far the most interesting software, better than anything else, in any way.
A total failure in the whole Altcoin landscape is the pegging of the intrinsic value to the coins denomination. If somebody wants to transfer 100 mil US$ on DRK it would have to be bought, driving the value up and down by idiotic margins.
Its much more intelligent to use the ledger to issue IOUs, which would peg to whatever the counterpart is paying for it. Like on Ripple.

The Mac wallet 0.10.12.27 hangs and races to 100%. Have it running for an hour now. Whatever it does, its does it wrong. Will try 0.9.12.27 now.

The guys? Don't know. Rock Stars, in Crypto. You'll have them around in every successful IT project. At a certain point they become obsolete and usually leave with the ugliest noise they can make. Mostly for the better of the venture.
The coin? BUY!!!

1. hack account 2. see all that juicy BTC, but with no email, you can't withdrawal 3.fire up your own account 4. use own account, buy a ton of shit scam coin. 5. set high sell order for you shit coin, equal in BTC to amount in hacked account 6. log back into hacked account, buy the scam coin using the btc in hacked account. 7. hacked account is left with scam shit coin 8. your own account is stocked with over 100 BTC. 9. withdrawal 100 BTC 10. Hookers and Blow
successful hack is extremely successful.
Also, it seems like someone holding over 50k CLOAK got hacked on mintpal and CLOAK was dumped. They might be linked.
hack CLOAK account, dump CLOAK for BTC. Then use BTC to buy shit scamcoin from yourself. Withdrawal BTC.
CLOAK account is left shitscamcoin. Hacker is left with hookers and blow.
Sounds legit. WTF. Must have happened fast, no rollback this time... Who the fuck was so stupid to park the coin on MintPal again?

There's always gonna be a clueless retard saying it will go up and there's always gonna be a clueless retard saying it will go down. Inevitably at some point of time one of them is going to be right. Doesn't make him any less clueless retard though. Best post of the day!

You do realise that the number of transactions and users per day of Monero is MINIMAL (probably even less than 0.01% of bitcoin)- and even then the blockchain grows by 30mb a day and is already over 1.6gb for a 2 month old coin..insane
Now imagine if the number of transactions increased..you do the math.
Thats non sense, the data in the blockchain is only 800 MB: http://monerochain.info/charts/bcsizeThe size is just a problem because of the way cryptonote currently stores the data using boost serialization in a big binary blob with tons of redundant stuff. ONLY 800 MB. It almost doubled in one month, double it baby. A bit more traffic and you'll have to nurse a monster. Monero is such a hype shit coin. If the bloat is so easy to fix, why don't you just go ahead and do it? And the wallet situation...

The contradiction in this story is:
If the thief effectively controls the network now with his stake of 30%, how would you initiate a fork? You simply couldn't. The thief could be coming out with his own wallet, blocking out everybody else. So whats going on here?
The whole story smells. Why there were 30% of all coins in existence in a MintPal wallet? Was that wallet staking?
Something doesn't add up here.
