A few days before no one could have thought that they could buy bitcoins at 5000$. And today you can buy bitcoin cheap which you may dream to buy at such low prices. Everyone knows this is just a panic selling because of virus or overall negative sentiments of the market and this will not last long. Soon bitcoin will bounce back hard and those who bought at such low prices will really enjoy the profits. Also halving is nearby, so fundamentally bitcoin is very strong although TA does not look so good at present moment. |

Suddenly came on mind about quick merit earn method & outcome. Since most of newbies away from meta/reputation so I wonder to share on this board. When you will see this case, then you will realized the point that about what I am talking. Anyway I will try to explain briefly. Above mentioned user got red tag from multiple DT members due to spin/plagiarize post from some other sources. And I believe that tags are appropriate since that guy admitted himself about spin or plagiarism. He had copied from other articles and likely spin or change some words by himself. That's totally against forum rules. You are not allowed to make plagiarized post. The most dangerous and abusive behaviour is, he gave some answers of pre-planned questions. That means, he prepared question and answer by himself, he made post (questions) by his alt or by friend's accounts and immediately answered before someone else. By this way he gained lots of merits. Even me, I have sent him merits since I had not looked deeply about posting time. However somehow his shady behaviour has been exposed and got multiple tag. Here is the lesson for all over forum user especially for newbies. That means that guy want to gain merit so quickly for rank up. But remember every quick method is harmful especially on this forum. You may realized even on your real life, short cut or quick method for anything is harmful. There no way earn merit by quick method, in a result your account will be worthless. Because forum people is to intelligent than you. So there is no very easy way to skip such behaviour that I mentioned above. Just be a decent users, create unique post with your own idea, you can search or study from other source but you are not allowed to spin or plagiarize from others. So many users rank up by their hard work, so you should do same. Learn as much you can and share your best experiences and knowledge with this community. I am quite sure community will reward you somehow. The moral of the story is that you may get merits or survive by these artificial tactics but one day you will be caught and all these efforts of your will be in vein. If it more better to spend your time and efforts in writing your own posts without trying to be over clever and slowly you will move up. I think if it is your passion to write and post you will rank up more quickly than if your only motive is to get merits for earning money. |

Have you come from cryptotalk forum to this forum ? All the things which you mentioned here does not work here and you do not get any paid per posts without being a high ranked member & merits plus need to be selected in any campaigns. If you want to be remain on this forum, your primary goal should not be to earn money from here. |

As what the thread title says, I like to know based on your opinion how big the contribution of the gambling industry to the entire market.
I have been a gambler for awhile now and I believe that with the contribution of our industry, it will only make the market stronger in the long run, and it's one of the reason why adoption is happening at a very good rate IMO.

I do not think gambling contribute to the growth of the economy but most of the gambling casino are not registered and in places where gambling is prohibited, you will never pay taxes on the gambling returns. Three weeks ago I was thinking that people from Venezuela are using that website as a faucet, I wonder why Syria is not on the list.
Posters from these countries have already started crying and begging not to enforce this rule and do not let their earning stop. I wonder how much they depend on the earning from the forum after seeing such posts.  But they can easily bypass this restriction by using VPN,right? And also restricting based on countries may not be the right move if they want to get away with the spams.I guess they have moderators then what is their job in that forum? They will have to open a new account if they are going to use a VPN and they will have to start all over again that means posting 100 free posts again before they can be included in the system, feel sorry for those who has been in this forum since the start that will not earn anymore because their country is among on the list. So what is the point of such restrictions? Cryptotalk is using this to get more traffic for their site with free of cost. That was not free of cost as they are paying around 10 cents for every post on their forum. I think this ban will not improve anything there and people will come up with ideas on how to bypass these restrictions. Cryptotalk should end the pay per post and then see how many people remain on their forum ?  |

I am currently thinking of making an experiment on my own, I have friends who are willing to lend me money for whatever purpose I like.

You are free to do any experiment with the money which you will get from your friends but think of one thing. If you lose in sports betting, how will you be able to pay back the loan amount ? If you have a backup plan or some money which you can return to your friends, in case of loss, it's worth a try but in case you do not have extra money, do not risk the lending amount in gambling. |

it's expected that they have a plan to stop the campaign as they can't run it forever, otherwise they will spend all their funds for that simple advertisement.
I believe when they made the decision to stop the campaign, they have already achieved their expectation, and now they want to continue it on their own platform using those people who join their own forum.
I don't follow their campaign a lot in the site but i hope they'll be successful with their forum and that would help their business which is yobit, and I also hope yobit will increase their services to their clients so we will not read a lot of complaints against them.

How will they make sure that the posts from these regions are not being paid ? If they only check the IP then they can be deceived by the VPNs. For sure, the spammers are wise enough to use the VPN and keep doing what they are doing or they will start KYC on their forums. This method (KYC) can be more appropriate if they want to stop some specific countries people to get paid. |

While ago it just hit me when i won more then usual that in the future if bitcoin goes parabolic, these wins in btc can be huge and i have to tell my banker where i got the money from and i guess i have to keep how much i spend it to make it for tax purposes too.
I was thinking that i need to start to keep a journal/spreadsheet on my wins and losses soon. I've been stalling and avoiding it because i might not like what i see, i don't even know if i am on the plus side anymore. I am not sure how crypto gambling taxes go in here but i thought that it wouldn't hurt to have a record of my transactions in it while i am studying it.
So, i guess my question is that are you keeping a track of your wins and losses and for what purpose are you doing that?
Why would you do that unless you are living in a country where gambling is legal and you are getting money directly in your bank accounts. If you gamble online and store your money in crypto, no government will be able to know that you posses any assets. If you need to cash out in local currency, do not do it all at once. Try to cash our slowly and in small amounts and you will be save. You do not have to declare in your tax returns that you are a gambler.  This may be unfair if you do not pay the taxes form whatever source you earn money and gambling is no different. I do no keep spreadsheets and all these stuff but whatever is the final winnings from the gambling after a month, I do add them in my earnings and pay the tax honestly. I do understand that this may varies from region to region but apparently we should all pay the taxes. |

I think they want investors in their project so that they can create and launch their gambling site and games which op said are fully cryptocurrency. First of all, your website does not open and it says Can’t connect securely to this page. Secondly its seems that you are prompting a sort of matrix scheme, whereby the referrals will bring your seed money back and those who will join late will be end up losing the invested amount.
