4001  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin will hit $60,000 today, what's next? on: March 31, 2021, 02:23:54 AM
Its all but hit 60k today, not quite but near enough that I'd consider about there.     Round numbers shouldnt matter but it does matter that its close to a repeat of what we've already done so really it needs to exceed that measure not to form any idea of a ceiling.   Its slightly lower then the last peak but I think its positively pushing higher so long as its closing above 57k, I'll watch that for an indication of direction after its hit the top area.

Yep, we're almost there, but such resistance actually to get over that $60,000. Again, this whole numbers is somewhat hard to breach, but once we broke it, we might see another all time high.

Maybe $55k will be the last strong resistance, and if we can't get over $60,000, I'm not expecting the price to go lower that than.
4002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 31, 2021, 01:29:23 AM
The match has started between Tsitsipas vs Sonego and Stepanos is up already 2-0, hope he can maintain his momentum and his lead because Sonego is dangerous.

Rublev takes the first set against Cilic, I think he will win this match. Unfortunately, Diego Schwartzman lost to Korda, it seems that Diego has somewhat losses his steam this year.

Quarter finals will be Medvedev vs Bautista-Agut, this will be interesting match to watch tomorrow.
4003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks of instituations holding bitcoin on: March 31, 2021, 01:05:26 AM
And then Bitcoin becoming more of a store of value as institutions are 'out-buying' retail in a massive phase. There's a lot of advantage and disadvantage, and let's hope that they are not that foolish to dump bitcoin right away just because they made significant money already.

This bull run was fueled by them and it's hard to imagine when and what will the top because of this flow of institutional money. I say let's take this as a positive news and simply ride with them by simply holding on our precious BTC.
4004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: March 30, 2021, 11:48:17 PM

Nice to see those 2 boxers will back again at the ring, even at an exhibition.

2 popular boxers on their time, both also got demolished by Manny Pacquaio although Marquez got sweet revenge out of pure determination and hunger to beat the People's champ.

Expecting more information will come after the announcement.

Yes, these boxers are contemporary, wonder though why they didn't call each other out when they have a common opponents.

This is now the new trend in the new norm, retired boxers coming back, performing exhibitions for the fans and then making money as well. I'm more surprised on Marquez though, after he won against Pacquaio and then Manny keeps chasing him, he said no, and then at 47 years old he is coming back. Anyways, this is just an exhibition match and probably not going to go 12 rounds.
4005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is better among Tezos, Algorand, and Near? on: March 29, 2021, 12:15:09 AM
I am new in the crypto currency world and already had Bitcoin, ETH, and DOT.
Can anyone recommend which one is better among Tezos, Algorand, and Near for long-term hold?

I will go with Algo and Near, Tezos? I don't know, but it seems there are no more hype on this project.

I suggest you follow Algorand here, they've a lot of updates too. I've been into this coin for months now and waiting for it to really take off.

4006  Economy / Speculation / Re: Upcoming Market Prediction (Market heading for a great downfall) on: March 28, 2021, 11:51:41 PM
I think Bitcoin is a game changer. It has been a great investment since inception.

Of course, this is the first time that we have seen this kind, we all call them cryptocurrency, although the idea is that the first, but Bitcoin definitely become the prime mover and the most successful of them all.

The future value of Bitcoin will be higher than its present value, but it is highly speculative and volatile. The best place for you to invest is to buy when there is news that makes Bitcoin rise in value dramatically, and sell when you buy more than you need for later investments.

Volatility is one of it's best 'assets', why? because with it's unstable price, people are trading and making money out of it. So definitely, we won't see the price continue to rise, at some point it had to fall. Whether that fall will become the bearish phase, or will it just be a correction, we really don't know. And with that, it's either we invest more or sell it off, and that's the beauty of it.
4007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on March 27, 2021 on: March 28, 2021, 11:26:08 PM
The fight was very spectacular. Of course it's a pity that "Russian Vityaz" was able to stand only 4 rounds and was defeated by knockout. Dillian Whyte deserves respect not only as a boxer, but also as a human being. It was very pleasant to watch how after the fight he came to Povetkin's locker room and congratulated him on the birth of his son.
Although experts do not see a third match to happen, still Whyte wants one and offered it to Povetkin, he wants the third match while waiting for a shot of the title

Dillian Whyte calls out Alexander Povetkin for a THIRD fight after devastating KO victory with Brit

I don't think it's necessary and the boxing world has no interest in it, it will be better if he fights Usyk or Wilder, these two fighters can give him a better fight.

Weird though, if he is calling Povetkin for a third fight. The only reason that it make sense for him is that he will have to sit and out and wait for the Fury-Joshua winner and it's a two fight deal so forget about it right now.

He should chase Wilder wherein Deontay is vulnerable, his been calling him for years, now is the perfect timing for the two to face each other, this year is possible.
4008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: March 28, 2021, 01:30:26 AM

Regarding the Oscar de la Hoya announcement, I wonder who his opponent will be. He has previously mentioned GGG's name but he will get seriously hurt if that ever happens.

I hope someone influential or very close to him stop him from coming back, he is insane to go back and fight GGG, it's like suicide and GGG mentioned that he could kill Dela Hoya if he challenged him, if he wants to make a comeback take a tune-up fight and fight an amateur fighter so we including him can judge if he still have it.

I don't know if he will pick GGG in his comeback fight, doesn't make sense, and Oscar knows that. Maybe he just wanted to hype him name again specially that Canelo has left him.

Most likely it will be a exhibition match since we are still in the pandemic, and I'm sure it will be something influential, similar to what we are witnessing right now. Youtube sensation vs MMA fighter.
4009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 28, 2021, 12:48:40 AM
Zverev suffered a surprising defeat by Ruusuvuori, World number 83, in the Miami Open, losing 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 to the Ruusuvuori.
This surprising defeat happened at the Miami Open tennis tournament.
Zverev is a great tennis talent but he still seems to lack consistency and stability in the game.
It will probably come with more experience in tennis matches.

I think this adds to my point in my previous post about the top ranked players starting the tournament in the later rounds. This is why we see so many upsets in these tournaments over the years and will continue to see upsets in the future. Alex de Minaur 15th seed and 13th Cristian Garín also lost but its great to see Raonic and Tsitsipas make it through to the next round.

Just over a week ago, Zverev won the Acapulco Open and now he is out. This year is really full of surprises as there are a lot of upsets, except for Grand Slams.

I do hope that Tsitsipas will make it to the finals, he lost to Zverev in the last tournament, it's a tough lost but I'm sure it will just make him stronger in this tournament.
4010  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why Bitcoin price drops recently on: March 28, 2021, 12:00:05 AM
^ This was on the Coindesk article and explained it there about the reason for the recent dump.
https://www.coindesk.com/market-wrap-bitcoin-near-56k-flat-activity
It said that it could be because the U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said, Cryptocurrency “not really useful stores of value” and that means it is included BTC. I don't know why there are too many influencer people that make the BTC price dump and pump through their words and don't know why people are listening to them, this is the same in Elon Musk's case.

I doubt that it is the main reason though, could be one factor though. But as I have said in the past, the bitcoin futures expiration has more of the effect, and since it is over for this month, just look at the price after it has matured, it bounce back already.

Same thing will happen next month, we will see a dip not higher than 30% and then eventually a healthy recovery to $70,000.
4011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on March 27, 2021 on: March 27, 2021, 11:34:15 PM
LOL, I was scrambling to find the fight online in hoping to watch the fight live, unless I see some posts here that the fight is over.

That was very quick and it seems that it was really a mismatch? Perhaps I will just wait for some Youtubers to upload so that I can see what really happen. Now we can say that the first win was really a lucky punch?
4012  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 27, 2021, 03:09:18 AM
I know its too early to make request since this site is still new but it would be better if you would be accepting some altcoins other than these two
considering that fees are very high nowadays.

XRP,DOGE,TRX or LTC would be ideal.

Exactly, as the fees are really so high with BTC and ETH.

In any case though, they are just starting and I'm sure everyone here is very glad to see another gambling platform joining this niche. Let's give them a chance to see everyone's request and prioritize it. And again, welcome to the community and hope that you will stay here and will give us surprises too, like competitions etc.
4013  Economy / Speculation / Re: Understanding Bitcoin price as a beginner on: March 27, 2021, 01:50:08 AM
Having been through one previous bull market, price corrections/swings of up to 40% are an accepted risk of investment such as a high-risk asset class.
Only buy if price has a 40% fluctuation will be a safe plan but it will make you missing many dips.

Why do you not consider to buy 10%, 20% or 30% dips? 20% dip is good enough to get profit and have safe entry.

In the last two months, we have a dip between 23%-26%, so I should say that within that range, it's always a good buy. We have seen a 40% swing though, and we just might not see it with the current trend that we are seeing.

The month of March is not yet finished, but if you have seen the fluctuations and the recent dip, it already scream buying opportunity already. No need to wait for the price to go to <$50k, IMHO.
4014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on March 27, 2021 on: March 27, 2021, 01:15:20 AM
I can sense that people are still believing that Whyte could easily win this fight, I know he was the better fighter but if he adjust, I'm sure Povetkin  would do the same, he has a power and he might pressure Whyte here as he already beat him so he will be fighting with a high confidence.

I think that is only normal because if you have watched the first fight it is clear that Povetkin was dominated by Whyte until that lucky punch landed that brutally knocking out Whyte.

The only adjustment that Whyte should make here is to make sure that once he landed his own power punches, he should see to it that Povetkin would stay down until the referee count him out.

But still you are right, confidence might change the whole fight but overconfidence might bring disaster to Povetkin.

This fight is worth to watch, let's see how Whyte will redeem himself, and I'm not expecting a KO here since Whyte will not make the same mistake he did in the first fight. It's too convincing that he will win as you can see on the betting odds, but it's always good to bet on odds with a high return and that is Whyte winning by decision or Povetkin winning either KO or decision.

Yes, that is the intriguing factor here, whether Whyte can redeem himself from the disaster in their first fight. I'm still expecting though for Whyte to win by KO here, that's why he will have his revenge against Povetkin, otherwise, fans will say that he just stay safe to get a win.

On the contrary, if Povetkin will win again, he might have another shot on the HW belt in the future.
4015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? on: March 27, 2021, 12:04:36 AM
Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? because NFT already in market.

You can never go wrong with both cryptos, both are prime movers.

However, I'm sure most of us prefer Bitcoin though, I mean we've been holders and it has proven to be a good investment. Just one year ago, the price hit it's lowest at around $4000, and look at where it is sitting right now and it could possibly hits 6 digits in the future. I'm not really sure about the status of NFT's, maybe it's just another hype in the altcoin market.
4016  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This is why you DON'T want go short now 84% of the bearish options has wiped out on: March 26, 2021, 01:14:04 AM
Yeah, it doesn't really make sense to short during bull run as you will definitely get REKT.

I remember there was a thread somewhere advising to short BTC, LMAO, either he/she didn't know how the crypto market works, or just wanted traders to lose their money. As fas as the $6 billion worth about to expire or has expired already, this is just another blip if we see the price goes down, in the next 3 days after the expiration, the price could slowly increase again to maybe $60k or new all time high.

Exactly.

I mean, everybody who trades against the trend will obviously going to be destroyed, like why would you do such thing especially if you're doing day Trading, that's a very classic profit burner, that's why you have to always update yourself on the current news about cryptocurrency because it always affect the price chart movement.

Trading blind or randomly will not give you profits always, if you happened to make one, then it is probably just because you're lucky in that day, but you don't have to make it a habit if you really wanted to be a professional trader.

Yup, that's it. I don't know who are going to short during a bull run though, maybe they got lucky and squeeze some profits, but this is not the way to make money in a bull run. Perhaps those traders who listen to others, influence by them to do this kind of trading activity.

And then later they found out that it is wrong though, and it's riskier than they initially thought about. Maybe a good way to learn their lessons, but it's very expensive.
4017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some of the unspoken problems associated with bitcoin use. on: March 26, 2021, 12:54:30 AM
I'm sorry but do we need another thread like this? specially in B&H?

Don't know what's the intention of the OP, but as others have explained already, this has existed and we have seen this in previous bullrun of 2017 and yet Bitcoin remains the dominant coin in crypto sphere. You can email Tesla or tweet this to Elon Musk and tell this so called problems with bitcoin use.

There is LN if you wanted to take a look:

4018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Rodriguez - April 10th on: March 26, 2021, 12:15:37 AM
This is my first time hearing these fighters name especially the defending champion. Why is the media didn't show this guy up? I guess the   media were so fed up with the Pacquiao and Mayweather's rematch or Mayweather entertaining those rookies in an exhibition fight.

There are tons of good fighter out there they should have focused on them and not with those who can't fight but keeps on avoiding.
This might be a pretty good fight for the Philippines depending champion that has a potential to become the next Pacquiao.

If I'm not mistaken Ancajas is under the MP promotion so there could be media attention for him. Maybe the one reason is that this fighters are in the lower weight class, so unless you are from the US or Mexico, you won't get the attention.

Fortunately, we just have Estrada vs Chocolatito that might have wake up boxing fans on the lower weights and look for more fights. And now we have Ancajas vs Rodriguez, Ancajas should knock out this guy to take notice that he is for real and potentially can be future fight for Estrada.
4019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone just buy 14666 bitcoins on coinbase on: March 25, 2021, 11:33:23 PM
Perhaps its another coincidence?

https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/bitcoin-futures.html

Regardless though, the price of BTC is still within the $50,000 range, perhaps this news didn't really put a dent on the price.
4020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to XRP on: March 25, 2021, 03:26:28 AM
I find it interesting to take a little bit of risk with XRP, but don't have the knowledge to say that it really has a potential to boom. any words of Motivation or should I stop Converting my BTC to XRP? just wanna Play safe. Cheesy

If you wanna play safe, then Bitcoin is the right investment for you. Simply buy during dip, just like we have been seeing today and just HODL. It's not just a little big of risk with XRP, it's huge, I'm sure that you all know that the company has a pending case against SEC right?

Well you can risk on XRP, but you it should be calculated. It could be used to pump and dump by many trading signal groups and other manipulators. So if you are have time the recent spike, then you can make some money by selling it, but it is not a guarantee.
