This is really bad. Whoever has done it, is not a supporter of cryptocurrency to be honest. Because such kind of heinous act actually brings down the reputation of Indian crypto community in front of the government. That shouldn't have happened!

If BM counts shitposting for payments, consider that project already failed one, bounty hunters already pay for it by not getting payments/delays and if they even get the payments they get measly value out of it.

I can tell you which ones to avoid. Drops where,
- ... you have to compete tasks to get reward (they can't be called airdrops tbf)
- ... it depends on luck to get reward
- ... where you get $5-$10 worth of tokens
- ...where they say - you will get these much hundred $ of tokens. This value should not be taken literally as it's usually taken from their 'ico' price, which these tokens rarely reach.
Most 'drops' feature one of above things and you are better off them.

 Many companies fuck up their products by changing up things which were fine to begin with. Meanwhile bitcointalk has remained pretty much same. Yes, some features are needed but member made telegram bots have done a good job at filling that necessity. I like the simplicity of this forum and hope it stays true to that. |

This, finally someone with an unpopular opinion. Can imagine an average Joe mentioning that and getting shat on. Like it or not, signature campaigns are a win-win situation. Advertisers get their traffic and customers, posters get their funds for their expenses. That's how marketing works; volumes to keep the site alive. Solely discussing Bitcoin and technology won't pay the bills, unless they have a ton of wealth to begin with. Even without them, shitposters still exist the moment there's some sort of monetization opportunity. Many people are still using Uniswap despite the high transaction fees because it's still the most decentralized and secure blockchain (next to Bitcoin). They will lose those users if they start blocking accounts/addresses that are suspected non-compliant.
I guess they can't block, people can just use different interfaces, perks of being based on smart contracts. |
