4021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: October 11, 2020, 12:44:41 AM
We can't be judgemental on the transaction fee of bitcoin in the future. A huge spike in transaction fee happened with the May month. This is all because of the increased number of activities happening on the network considering the halving event predicted to take place. It caused the transaction fee to spike to a value above $6 from a low transaction cost of $0.28 between the month of January and May.

After the halving the market allowed to drop the transaction fee. Now this has dropped low compared to the peak value of May month. In future surely there'll be continued development to keep the fee nominal so to grow the network.
4022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 10, 2020, 11:59:21 PM
Safe bets are bet with high probability of wins. That doesn't mean the team can't still not lose and when they do, you end up losing more money than you have won. This is not rocket science, it is natural phenomenon and that is more reason to also analyze bet based on some factors such as injuries, formations, players available for selections, referee etc.

There are some bettors are stating that "this team will win for sure", "Nah this team", "trust me its 100 percent sure they will win this game". These statements are common in sports betting we cannot underestimate the skills and the strategy of other teams sometimes they made history gameplay that we called as the comeback, you can't tell or call too early a defeat once the game still ongoing, I experience this on the NBA Finals with the Golden state warriors they made an amazing comeback on the finals.
Final comeback won't happen with every match, and that's the reason why people always makevery early statements with cent percent accuracy. Yes, we don't know when scenario will change and for that we can't go completely against the odds. This is the reason why it is mentioned to have luck to win with gambling than just having deep knowledge.
4023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: October 10, 2020, 08:48:26 PM
The cryptocurrency market is the one that survived without massive crash throughout the covid-19 spread. This thread has been started during the beginning stages of fast spread and the very beginning days of lockdown on every country with restrictions. Later on when the lockdown continued with industries shutdown the money circulation completely stuck. This started to reflect on the economy as stocks started to drain it's value.

During the lockdown more number of common people started to use bitcoin and some even started to consider it as the safe haven for investment looking the market crash of stocks.
4024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and taxes buying goods and items with btc tax free on: October 10, 2020, 07:48:40 PM
Taxation on bitcoin is purely based on the income generated out of it. No countries have developed a clear framework on the taxation of bitcoin, because single bitcoin can be valued $10k as well as $20k depending on the market.

Governments always try to make an earning out of taxation irrespective of the market and the way of earning. Maybe services bought in exchange for bitcoin can skip the taxation as it is between the client and the service provider. When product is bought/sold it'll be taxed, because on production itself it'll be taxed.
4025  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody here trying to live bankless (using Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies)? on: October 09, 2020, 05:08:51 PM
Whenever I go for a bank, I end up with some clash with the bank employees. They might leave some loose talks or makes us wait for a long. We can't blame them, they're also human beings and does the work. They don't know on what emergency we're requesting the bank's service. By those time I feel like we need to go bankless making our survival only with cryptocurrency. In reality it isn't that easy as we people think, even with every transaction associated with bitcoin has some connectivity with banks. Hope the scenario might change in the future.
4026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Faith of cryptocurrency after this pandemic period. on: October 09, 2020, 03:48:06 PM
People aren't free minded to get into cryptocurrency usage. The pandemic has caused a big blow in everyone's life, and the combined impact is experienced over every country's economy. This economic downturn has made people to look for a better way to make an earning.

Large number of common people got landed into cryptocurrency usage for trading. How long the faith gonna sustain is much associated with the growth pattern of the market and the users true understanding about the market.
4027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: cryptcurrency arbitrage any ideas? on: October 09, 2020, 03:03:24 PM
Cryptocurrency has got difference of price in different country. Mostly this happens when there is no possible chances of buying from international vendors or cryptocurrency exchanges. There is increased demand, so local traders sell at a competitive price against another local trader. As one cannot buy from the international trader the people are supposed to buy from the local traders than exchanges. This traders actually buy from the international traders at reduced price and sell it with a profit margin of at least $1000/Bitcoin.
4028  Economy / Speculation / Re: What could be the impact of the US election on currencies? on: October 09, 2020, 01:15:38 PM
Whether it is a win for Trump or Biden, the economy and the money value is much dependent on the common people and the industrialists. Maybe there'll be small disturbance in the market if Trump leads, because his political policies were mostly against the common man and completely focused on economy recovery. He tries to make it happen overnight which once again makes the people suffer. Anyhow the winning percentage is strong on his side, which means people like his policies.
4029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 08, 2020, 11:11:58 PM
Son of Michael Schumacher, Mick Schumacher is making his debut F1 race on Nürburgring track. On the same event Lewis Hamilton is chasing to equal the most formula one match win held by Michael Schumacher. The same happening in the home country of Mick, and after Michael Schumacher very few are into F1 from Germany. Now with the entry of Mick Schumacher once again the popularity of F1 will be kept alive.
4030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: October 08, 2020, 10:39:42 PM
The pandemic days of 2020 is much associated with the growth prediction for the year 2021. During the pandemic the equities hit a major downfall, by the time bitcoin too was predicted to crash and reset for next level of growth. Things happened in the opposite way and the global debts of Governments have increased all time high. This surely devalue the money, and the rise of bitcoin has served as a safe haven of investment even though it has got high volatility by most people.

By the time DEFI too made a big change in the market. As we had ICO, IEO and other forms of investments now the DEFI hype is in the market. Maybe something better will be launched to the market by 2021. It can be NFT, CNR or something else advanced.
4031  Economy / Economics / Re: rich people super rich are taking loans now why? what it means ? on: October 08, 2020, 09:27:42 PM
Rather than keeping their assets idle, they use it as collateral and with the loans go for further investment. We can't expect the investment to give assured return, if the plans go right and profit then one can settle the loans and get back the collateral making his portfolio more some assets out of the investment. Same time if the investment ends losing, he's supposed to sell the collateral and settle the loans.

Money making is all about the way it's been taken forward. If lucky we'll be earning big even with small investment, and if there is no luck even a big investment goes to zero in a day.
4032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: Square & Twitter's Boss, Jack Dorsey buys $50M worth of Bitcoin. on: October 08, 2020, 08:44:17 PM
More big players are getting into the market regularly. Following this will be the entry of more number of large scale corporate networks to get into bitcoin. When large volume of bitcoin gets accumulated between few number of users, it becomes an easy task to manipulate the market. For now the buying of bitcoin isn't a big news, because more such incidents is gonna happen in the falling years.
4033  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 07, 2020, 03:48:55 PM
For the question, who'll win the battle during the pandemic?

It is always the fiat, because the central authorities will backup the market and stabilize to push the economy forward. The same with cryptocurrency won't happen, because the market moves of its own formula of demand to supply.

During the pandemic the growth with cryptocurrency market has peaked high and it keeps bouncing. So, there is much larger percentage of growth with the cryptocurrency which serves as a base for the future growth competing with the traditional fiat system.
4034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 07, 2020, 01:44:47 PM
McAfee who is a familiar person, and one among the leading personality supporting different cryptocurrency project and ICO's have been accused of different cases. Today only got to know about the murder case against him and his escaped from his home located in Belize. He has used his popularity to earn big out of cryptocurrencies. In a simple calculation he is supposed to earn more than $20 million promoting different cryptocurrencies.

He has revealed different statements while promoting different ICO's and his words weren't taken serious, because people understood him as a paid promotion. He is away from outer world for a long, and through cryptocurrencies only he has revealed him. This arrest will be taken seriously by the US government as election days are getting close.
4035  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people claim cryptocurrencies aren’t an asset? on: October 05, 2020, 06:27:50 PM
It is all because of the governments that framework the law, and based on that people are informed that cryptocurrencies weren't an asset. Very few countries like Japan, Australia have legalized it as a currency, but most of the countries state it something similar to the stocks. It can't be considered as a legal tender/valuable asset which can be used in exchange of services. This can be used on trading, investment and other similar purposes.
4036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tron (TRX) Ever Reach $5? on: October 05, 2020, 05:54:36 PM
Tron hasn't made anything big, with the launch of BitTorrent there is little growth with the tron. This happened as a result of BTT launched only with option of pairing with Binance coin and tron. The volume of investments peaked and got reflected with the growth of tron, BitTorrent and BNB.

There were development of different applications over the TRC10 platform, but there isn't big growth out of it. With its increased volume it keeps rolling rather than falling much steeper.
4037  Economy / Gambling / Re: LIVE - Playing Dice on Online Casino with Software Bot! on: October 05, 2020, 05:39:13 PM
Will the usage of bots have anything positive with the winning of the roll. This is same as that we have auto mode on the roll of a dice. Just a stream doesn't gonna benefit the users, and these bots are helpful in testing of the gambling sites before launch to identify the issues that arise when more number of people consecutively keeps rolling.
4038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 05, 2020, 05:23:10 PM
Money making out of cryptocurrency needs the following

  • Mind to learn continuously.
  • Dedicated attention to observe the market movement.
  • Capital to invest/buy different cryptocurrencies.
  • Knowledge about the exchanges and it's features.
  • Knowledge to segregate the scam and the good ones.
  • Patience to get back the profit.

On the above if one has luck he'll make money out of cryptocurrencies with ease than a hard working person.
4039  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: October 05, 2020, 04:26:39 PM
Compared to any part of the world, Africa has got something different in terms of resource, the climatic conditions, the lifestyle and food. More to go, but the corruption within the country is the cause for such a negative growth of Africa and more people trying the best, to get out and reach grown countries. People risk their life, believing the lives will be better reaching the next part of the world.
4040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2020, 03:49:58 PM
Tutorial videos will make them Bored mate, remember that Older people are impatience and we cannot let them Seat infront of laptop watchign videos.

i believe that what we need to do is encourage them personally ,let them learn by our convincing power.
make them understand that this is beneficial for them since they are only expecting their  government support and the allowance from their pensions .

They need more time physically and mentally mate and not just video streaming.

I think the best way to explain Bitcoin to the elderly is simple. Most old people don't understand what bitcoin is, but we know that they are very familiar with gold and think gold is a symbol of wealth. So we can attract their attention with the opening words that bitcoin is gold in the digital world.

The explanation begins with the history of why bitcoin is considered gold and then includes articles or clippings about cryptocurrency from well-known tabloid newspapers and newspaper sites. Then the last explanation is that investing in bitcoin our money will not disappear even though the value fluctuates, and it only needs the patience to wait for its value to rise (unless the internet stopped working or the bitcoin network was abandoned).

Don't forget that parents think that they are more conservative than us, safety is the top priority, not the profit.
The last point could've been added first. Because when one states bitcoin is gold in digital world. Suddenly there arises another question from the elderly, then what's the need of going towards it. We can keep hold of gold itself. Old people always prefer the security/safety than the profit out of it. Maybe new generation elderly people will agree with it, while majority of the elderly just hear it on one ear and leave it through the other ear.

What's the need of a compulsive teaching about bitcoin to the elderly people ?
