An easy way to get an idea of the numbers of posts the mods are really deleting is to mark your pages when it rolls over every 100, 250 or even 1,000 posts together with archiving at that point.  Also, try keeping a rough note in your head each day, or even just have a post it note and daily write the new total.  The mods seem to be on the war path at the moment judging by the number of threads started recently to hold them accountable.

Any rich buggers out there know what this is about? Its behind a paywall.

Given how much click-bait and ads are raping the eyes on that page, I think By: Chris Keall Business writer, NZ Herald chris.keall@nzherald.co.nz @ChrisKeall should be paying *US* to read that page.

Looks like Last of the V8s is trying to emulate Peloso: (Hot on the heels of giving me distrust simply for asking him what his thoughts were in wanting to be a merit font).  Not very trustworthy behaviour.

You need to fix up the attribution of who originally posted the information about you and your alt.

You'd be surprised just how petty the mods can and do get when they start deleting posts by people on their distrust lists.  (Not to mention how many post reports go "unhandled" when it suits them)

I think it would just make bump selling easier.

This thread is becoming an advertisement for anyone why might want to offer their services as a "bumper" People are already offering to give away their merits, now people will see this thread and bump away.
4029  Other / Meta / Re: FYI: Stolen Account on: June 10, 2020, 09:21:24 PM
It's your opinion and that's fine. However, can you answer for me why my pre-hack signature is not enough?

Hi and thanks for your understanding.  I would like to see a signature from a much earlier period than a wallet address specifically set up for reclaiming your account.  The reasoning is that if you were to have stored the wallet address PrivKey say on your BitCoinTalk account, or, an email service as a clear text, then the hacker would have that - could scam away then claim to have been hacked and dangle the signed message as proof.

There are other reasons from having reviewed your posts, but for now I won't say any more.

Are you able to sign a message (from one of the wallet addresses you used on a day-to-day basis pre hack) or not?

OK, Perhaps I'm showing my age with this one:

Star Trek: A Piece of the Action.

Game: Fizbin.

Fizbin has also been mentioned in Star Trek Deep Space Nine.

You forgot to mention what you actually did:

Actually, quite the opposite, I did it the way I did so that those who source code dive would be able to engage and delve into what I had written (and it worked)  Shocked

Honestly, I don't know the tip you gave above so I am thankful for your tip, definitely.

Unfortunately, it requires some customization, that newbies don't know so they will still get troubles with List block in titles.

My pleasure - I first tripped over that hint when dealing with a user [btc]onfire a few years ago.

[btc] is another one that can trip up the unsuspecting.

Using the term [list] isn't something to be afraid of - you just have to know how to use the term properly.

There are a few popular threads that use the term [list] in their threads:

(I never said there were many...)

Perhaps you should do your research a little bit before editing out quotes.

21 Jump Street was a TV Series (Please follow the link) of which the recent movie is a follow-on sequel with at least one or two actors from the original series participating.

The Twilight Zone has again been re-booted as recently as 2019 (last year) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twilight_Zone_(2019_TV_series)

You also show your ignorance of the James Bond franchise. (Perhaps you should also look that one up too while you're at it)

(How did you get into a SigCamp?  You've only amassed a total of four merits in the last 120 days)...

You forgot to add that users will Tut-Tut you for using the rare profanity and then cheer on or lament TMAN's absence for his copious amounts of swearing and abuse.

#DoubleStandards.
4037  Other / Meta / Re: Bumped by Who on: June 10, 2020, 07:37:51 AM

So owning a high ranked alt which ranked up long ago, maybe due to airdropped merit, would not count much, except the account has been actively contributing to the forum over the past year.
Also bump score diminishes during a month. A thread bumping service would be difficult to operate, particularly as there's no guarantee that a bump would actually bump a thread.

... and if you post in a thread your "Bump" isn't as effective as if you hadn't posted to begin with.  In the ANN thread for bumping IIRC I had to bump about thirty to fifty threads before my bump power was totally exhausted (all the while earning ~40 merits in 120 days - I'm now up to ~100 merits in 120 so if I were to bump the power of said bump would be more effective).

What part of:

I have not said anything about leaving any kind of trust feedback.

Are you having trouble understanding?
4039  Other / Meta / Re: FYI: Stolen Account on: June 10, 2020, 05:14:15 AM
Hi again and thank you for getting back to me.

Most of those addresses were in an old blockchain wallet that I no longer have. I'll double check later to see if I can provide a signature, but that post IS from before the hack so I'm not sure what the issue is. Unless you believe my account was hacked twice and thus has been accessed by three different people, that post verifies that I am the legitimate owner.

I understand you are just being cautious, but I'm not quite sure why there seems to be some animosity.  You can leave the negative trust if you wish. I just thought I'd ask.

I can show you where the animosity is - it is right here in the very next post:

Let me point you to a message signed yesterday from  an address that was posted (in 2015) AKA 2 years before the hack (hack= sometimes in 2017).

I have not said anything about leaving any kind of trust feedback.  You sent me a PM asking me to read this thread (which I have done), I have asked a question and you are endeavouring to answer it which I appreciate you taking your time so that you can answer that question.  As to the other recent posters, all I can suggest is that you don't feed the Trolls.
4040  Other / Meta / Re: FYI: Stolen Account on: June 10, 2020, 01:06:49 AM
I will again ask you to sign a message from one of these wallet addresses:

Why do you want him to sign a message from those addresses?

he has already done it from an address posted in an unedited post from 2015

Those wallet addresses are from Pre the hack.

Thanks for asking.

If it was good enough for the mods/admin of the forum, why is it not good enough for you?

Because I was contacted by the OP, who no doubt values my option (as a non DT member of the forum's community  Roll Eyes ) to provide an honest and unbiased appraisal of the information I have at hand.  Wallet address are sometimes sold with an account, hence let's see a signed message from a time prior to when the hack is supposed to have occurred.

Given the OP is in no hurry to remove the hackers posts (that and my original request was made back on the 30th of April 2020), then I am also in no hurry.
