That's kinda the point of using 2FA. Social engineering can answer many of the questions they asked, but a signed message can't be faked. I would have my doubts too if someone says they are the owner but can't sign a message to prove it. And when there's doubt, they shouldn't give you access to the account.
It is not a blockchain address for what if we forget our private key/seed or something like that then we would not be able to login into the account. On Stake.com there might have registered too many information. If all the information is right which is associated at the time of creation or facing the issue then they should help the OP. It is the fault of the op that s/he lost his/her 2fa and didn't backup the code of the 2fa. That doesn't mean there should have no alternative way to recover the account. I think they should have an option. |
