4021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning 0.005 BTC to 1 BTC? Trading Journal | Currently 24% profit in 4 days on: February 03, 2020, 07:09:29 PM
What you are doing is good. Why don't we try? The funds you are trading with are small. With this fund you can experiment your trading strategy. If good results come, then surely you can go ahead. Maybe you know that leverage trading can be very risky at any time. So be careful when you open any trade. I will definitely follow your thread to see the results. Good luck.
4022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: February 03, 2020, 04:45:32 PM
Gambler always be a gambler. Even if a gambler wins a million, he won't be able to quit gambling. He gambles again with a million, he might lose that all million again.  Grin
If I win a good amount of money then I will think a little before playing another time. However, those who gamble cannot quit gambling.

I suggest you stop gambling if you can win a good amount of money and don't playing more round of the game because you don't know what will happen next. Those people who gamble cannot quit gambling if they don't have the power to stop themselves from the tempting of gambling games. Gamblers will always be a gambler, but they have the choice to quit gambling, no matter if that will be difficult for them to leave. There is a way for every gambler who wants to stop gambling.
Yes. But the thing is, most of the gamblers who play are not able to control themselves. I know a few people who lose gambling, take out loans and gamble again. If they have won millions in gambling. They gamble again and they will lose everything. And those who gamble for entertainment can control themselves. If they win a huge amount then they can hold it.
4023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $400,000 After Halving, History Dictates on: February 03, 2020, 04:35:12 PM
I think it will be possible. Because if we think about the last halving, how that bitcoin halving impact the price of bitcoin. The last bitcoin halving was in 2017. And the historic Bitcoin bull market was in 2017. So we can expect Bitcoin to be another Bitcoin historical bull market in 2020-2021. However, no one can say exactly what will happen here.

I agree that it was a historic moment in 2017, but how could you assume that it could reach $400k Huh We didn't even reached 10k now. I think it's quite impossible to reach that value so soon it might reach that value in the next decade it's my assumption according to the market situation, the possibility after halving could be 25k in my opinion.

You are right. But I said it's possible but in the long term. 2020-2021 might give us a direction $25k or more. But at this point, such a huge price change will not happen in such a short time. We have to think realistically. But if you think of long term, there is a possibility of $ 400k. I strongly believe Bitcoin will one day go into this range. It’s need time.

4026  Economy / Reputation / Potential scam attempt. on: February 03, 2020, 12:48:40 PM
He wants the api key of the people's exchange account. Condition account must have funds. He will give the account owner 20-30% profit per month. To me it seems like a scam attempt.

He might scam users by API.You can see below how it's possible : https://hackernoon.com/how-your-trading-api-keys-can-be-used-to-drain-your-funds-f9148d1e6d33

4027  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to protect yourself from fake giveaways. on: February 02, 2020, 05:51:42 PM

Many ways to avoid these scams.

  • Dont prolong discussion on Strangers on any social media platform such as telegram. A lot has been victimized by this inquiry. Just dont reply and block him if he insisting topic especially about funds
  • If the giveaway has full of links associated, dont bother to check it. The post might compose professionally but trust me, this is just a disguise. Been there than that.
  • Social media is very huge before participating check first if the one posted it is the real one, might fall for a scammer's trap

Thanks for reminding everyone OP.
Your advices are good. I think if this thread reads any newbie, then at least they won't get into this kind of scam. We will constantly fight against scammers so they can come to the crypto world safely.

How to protect yourself from fake giveaways: Don't join giveaways.
Yeah. But not all newbie's know so much about crypto. They believe in what they see. And they also become victims of scammers. We can warn them not to become victims of such scams. So many reputed members of this forum are constantly fighting against scammers.
4028  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to protect yourself from fake giveaways. on: February 02, 2020, 02:55:18 PM
If you have to send money to get money it is not a giveaway. Crypto isn't created from thin air, except worthless tokens. If the asset that is created had any value people would be ready to pay money to own it. These airdrops and giveaways are useless.

Yes you are right. But many people fall into these scams. We have seen before and still see many victims of giveaway scams. The last victim, he was lost $3k by participating in a fake giveaway. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214770.msg53515867 posted by: Baofeng
So I want to warn those who are new to the crypto from such scams.
4029  Economy / Scam Accusations / How to protect yourself from fake giveaways. on: February 02, 2020, 02:38:35 PM
Fake giveaway is another easy way for scammers to scam. They have trapped many innocent people with such fake giveaway. After being scammed, many say they were victims of scams and many did not say they were victims of scams. I have seen many victims of such scams lose their money. Most of the newbies here fall into such scams. Because they don't know how to verify everything.

They think, since they are offering 10x 5x profit, why not join the giveaway with my fund and raise the fund! And this thought turns into his biggest mistake. Recently fake giveaway scammers are more active, they are releasing new ideas to show themselves loyal. But scammers get caught up in the experience. Newbie has to think, how is it possible to give 10-5x profit? One thing to keep in mind, a company does not ask to send funds before giving any kind of giveaway. They make giveaway names in the name of big companies. Which makes the newbie more attractive in that giveaway. The names of the companies they use more often Binance, Coinbase, Ethereum, XRP, Tesla etc

I want to write in detail about their promotion ways. And how to keep yourself out of this promotion.

Their four main ways of promoting.
  • Telegram.
  • Twitter.
  • Youtube.
  • Medium.

Telegram.
The highest amount of fake giveaway groups are created on the telegram. In the name of several big companies. You will see thousands of members in their group in a very short time. Their team members give fake screenshots and say they got giveaway 5btc 10btc. All of which is to scam people by fooling them. Many newbies send funds by looking at these fake screenshots. And their journey into the crypto world ends as soon as they start.

Twitter.
On twitter, scammers post giveaway photos by creating an account in the name of the company's ceo or company name. Because such links on Twitter, Twitter is considered spam.

Youtube.
Editing ama video of ceo of different companies and uploading the name of giveaway. Recently many crypto related YouTube channels have been reported to be hacked. All these channels hack purpose, use to perform such scams.

Medium.
There is now a huge amount of fake giveaway posts available in medium. They make it seem like they are actually giving a giveaway by posting it. They design posts like the same original website. As a result, newbies become confused.

How to protect yourself from such scams?

To keep yourself away from such scams, you must bookmark the websites which you need. Because official websites have all their social media links. If you are offered any kind of giveaway, you must check official website's social media or official announcement, for confirmation really they are offering any giveaway or not.

You can set privacy setting so that no one can add you without your permission in any telegram group. I've got a post that will help you know how to do telegram privacy setting : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5072351

Newbies please keep in mind In the real world there is nowhere such a huge amount of profit for free,100% chance of being scammed where huge profit is shown.

Feel free to share more information if you think it is important.
4030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: February 02, 2020, 10:18:02 AM
I know someone he quit his job for trading! And you will quit your trading for a job. It is the person who decides himself, everyone have their own point of view. I do not like day trading. Day trading I lost many times, do not do day trading anymore. I think weekly or monthly trades are good. Because you don't have to sit here in front of the PC all the day. You can keep good relations with everyone even when your weekly or monthly trade still open.Boring work full time trading in one place. Keeping an eye on the market all day is not an easy task.
4031  Economy / Services / Re: Telegram Real member Sales on: February 01, 2020, 02:13:48 PM

If you are not interested, do not make unnecessary comments...!
Such useless services add people to various scam telegram groups. If you look, you will understand the different, many scam giveaway groups add thousands of members without permission. And to the scammers they  gives telegram users information. These types of service providers. In my opinion, those who provide such services should be tagged.
4032  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] get-bitcoin.org Ponzi scheme behind of mining. on: February 01, 2020, 01:41:23 PM
I agree with your conclusion, this is not bitcoin mining, this is a regular Ponzi scheme. No mining equipment can give us such a return that is equal to 20% for 1 day on the invested capital. But in any case, you must use the forum search. About this fraud https://www.get-bitcoin.org/ wrote in December last year tmfp : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211066
Thanks for your info. I didn't check it this time. I also got it from Google ads and thought it was a new scam. You are right It is not possible to give such a profit in one day. I'll keep this in mind in the future, do not be the same post twice.
4033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 smart ways to bet on the upcoming bitcoin halvening with options on: February 01, 2020, 12:06:07 PM
There are two kinds on investor  short and long then there is a trader. As for me I am short ter investor and for a person like me halving is the right time to accumulate till end of April and then sell.
Each trader follows different upcoming news well. Because news based trades often give good profit. I'm a long term investor. So I don't worry too much about this. I think this halving will have a long term huge impact on Bitcoin prices. Your thoughts are good. Earn good profit by accumulating low prices and selling at higher prices. However, those who are in the long term they do not think much about these issues.
4034  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus and The Effect on The Markets on: February 01, 2020, 09:04:49 AM
If the virus is spread around the world, it will affect any market. Not just the crypto market, including the stock market. Because where people are concerned about life, people will not think about trading or invest. Then it will have a huge impact on the market. China is the big market for crypto trading so if something big happens in China, it affects the crypto market. So now I think the Corona virus could have an impact on the crypto market. Any side can take the market ups or down side.
4035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit 15K in 2020? on: February 01, 2020, 08:23:27 AM
Still, as the market has finally recovered (I believe), it’s now time to see where things could be heading up to the end of the year.

No one can tell what will really happen. We can only hope. If I think of the last bitcoin run. Then I can easily say, it can be possible. But this bitcoin, can go in any direction, increase or decrease. However, those who are long term holders do not think about these things. Because long-term holders always win. But if Bitcoin crosses $15k in 2020, that will be great news for the crypto community.
4036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: January 31, 2020, 04:55:58 PM
I know what his last prediction. Now he is saying such things because he did not go to that target. He repeatedly made such comments to get the attention of the crypto community. He is a attention seeker. So we should ignore him. As soon as he gets the attention, he will make such Bs comments again and again.

He is now thinking about the his 2020's prediction. Bitcoin price prediction he gave is absolutely unrealistic. Such a price change in the sort term cannot be realistic in any way.

I wonder why this topic was posted here  Huh I have read a few tutorials for newbies, the post should be placed in the appropriate sections  Smiley With topics like this, I think it should be under Scam Accusations or reputation (not sure about the reputation). Why is it posted here and people still don't respond?

Btw this is not a Scam Accusations. This is posted to alert newbies. And Beginners & Help seems to be  the right place to alert newbies. If it were for Scam Accusations, then the moderators would move this thread when I post this thread. You're Newbie too. Don't do anything that creates doubt. Maybe you understand what I mean.

4039  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning}: Razebit Crypto exchange is a scam on: January 30, 2020, 02:15:15 PM
Newbies easily fall into this kind of scams. Scammers use telegram to promote such websites. Scammers chat in such a way that they are very innocent, they are actually stuck on that website. But this is actually a drama. Many newbies, even old members, fall into the trap. If anyone gets such an offer, then they should verify that this website is real or not.

I posted a scam like this, few month ago. [SCAM Alert] Briefcrypt.com offer 0.8 BTC . Beware......
4040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Upgraded to Full Member. on: January 29, 2020, 04:58:07 PM
Many thanks to everyone for the best. If one member gets inspiration from hearing the success story of other member, it is a good thing to share it with everyone. I'll try my best to do the same as before. My opinion, if I can give something good to the community, I will get reward and upgraded to the next rank.
