Exactly, there are no techniques or such ways to win on gambling especially to some games that rely on pure luck and doesnt require any skills to win. As ou said in poker games , it would be possible to overcome risk it really depends on your skills and also accompanied with luck in order to win also in sports betting.

In my opinion you can stop or start anything according to what you really want. Methods like "going fishing to stop gambling" are excusses, go fish when u want to fish not when u don't want to gamble. And ofc if you see gambling as a social experience then you'll never have to stop bcs you'll be sensible and chill about it  Say that when you are addicted to gambling and you stopped it on your own will. Many would say that investment is a much better option than gambling but i would go for gambling because in gambling i am not depending on any third party for the profit or the result to come.Also return in gambling is much quicker,we get to know whether we won or lost in some time where as in investment alot of patience is required.
But in gambling, the odds is always against you. And you cannot rely on it to give a steady profit. There are more chances that your money will turn to zero than it winning. But in investing, you can manage all the risk. Investing in a really good company will give you a steady income. |

In over a year that I am doing bitcoin I have never met a random individual also involve in bitcoin. I am doing faucet before while riding a bus but no one else seems to care what I am doing. Exchange sites is almost like bank though you just don't earn interest when you store btc to them every year but somehow its like a bank, same thing when you store btc/coins on some online wallet. but a lot of us prefer to leave our coin on exchanges particularly traders.
But that's right the exchange site is like a bank but need to underline if you losing your funds in them, whether a guarantee for that? because that is very important. traders I prefer to leave their coins in exchanges because they consider about the fees they will get if making any transaction. maybe just a little but for a long time it's very enough amount. With what have happened to bitfinex, I think we should all be warned in leaving money in exchange sites. It is better to store them on cold wallet so they will not be lost or hacked. If it gives a good assurance for a good source of income then why not, but as of you know bitcoin after a stable job then as should say that maybe bitcoin is a part of mysideline job .But if in long run if it gives you more than your stable job, then maybe I will stay focus on bitcoin and quit for my day job.
Reasonable answer for this thread, it can be assumed that at the point where you make more from BTC than a real job that there's definately some skill of reading the market(or enough knowledge to make an educated guess of market trends) so if someone gets to that point switching jobs sounds completely reasonable. Because it is not always our job will give us a better income, it is apparent that our job can give us a stable income but the question is, are we satisfied with that? If not, we have to venture into other business and we need to risk a little bit to reach our dreams in the future. Yes you are right, having a job is just getting some assurance that you are going to have something for your daily needs and you are going to work for it. That is why you need more source of income such as bitcoin if you want to have good earnings and get rich. You don't have to sacrifice anything what you need is proper time management. If a person can be more productive in bitcoin if he focuses his attention to it, why not? Bitcoin offers a good opportunity to make a lot of money, even more than what an ordinary employee can earn. Hmmh, It depends on how lucky are you, if you are very lucky or good gambler, you can win lots of money, But if you won't have needed luck you can lose a lot and i don't really think that there re such a thing as strategy, as all gambling is luck based so you can't have needed strategy I feel there are no good gamblers in the world as being good or skilled wont work in gambling as it just depends on your luck if you win or lose so whether you use any strategy or not if you have luck you will luck and if you dont you simply wont. Of course it depends on what game you are playing. If you are playing poker, you can use some skills to overcome a bad hand. A good poker face and a timed bluff can overcome a good hand played by a weak player. But if you are playing slots or dice, you just have to rely on your luck to win a jackpot. |

But i think people who are willing to invest in bitcoin should still wait for sometime because maybe the price drops a little more before it starts growing, so in that way they would a little more dollars profit if they wait. You can buy at the current price. If it drops more, then buy again. As long as the price is dropping, just take that opportunity to buy some coins. Don't put all your money in bitcoin all at once. You will have the best price doing that. If you don't buy and wait for the price to drop some more, you might miss the chance when the price suddenly surges up. |

Invest in something better then gambling. Gambling can take all money you have, and you can get addicted like a bonus on that. That is not good road for anyone of us, better try to put your money in something better. If you have some extra money, then you can try to gamble with it, in case you lose you will still have your money for investment.
Or be brave and split your money on two half`s, one half for gambling, other for investing. And if you have luck you will make profit on both, if not maybe at least you can make profit on one. I don`t know what else to suggest you, I still didn`t try many things with bitcoins.
I will not even spend half of my money on gambling. If it is just for entertainment, I will just spend maybe 5% of my money into gambling. The rest of it will be put in a good investment. it is not an alibi for me because I do enjoy gambling although I am losing, I make sure that the amount I bet is the amount I can afford to lose, I think there is no problem with your gambling hobbies if you know what you are losing.
The problem is when you lose control of yourself and you get addicted to gambling. There is almost no going back if you get addicted. Your life may get from bad to worst so rapidly. Gambling maybe a good stress reliever but if left unchecked can be a bad habit to form. It can ruin relationships and financials if you get addicted to it. |

To most people, quitting gambling would be like killing themselves. Some people only do this because they "sort of" want to. Guess what, if you're only quitting gambling just because you feel so, then you're not gonna be able to quit it. Once you get this urge of gambling again after weeks, you'll get back into becoming gambling.
What you should do is focus all your energy into something else while you're trying to forget about gambling. After weeks of not gambling, and weeks of being busy into something, you'll become committed on that something and you wouldn't even be able to picture yourself gambling.
There should be a commitment if you really want to quit from gambling. A weak will to stay away from it will just be broken by some teasing advertisement you see here in the forum. Yeah planning about your session won't contribute that much to your winning,
But if you divided (for example 0.25 bitcoins) in to a lot of sessions rather than just wishing for that luck to hit in all in game do make a great difference.
Cause you also dividing the luck and multiplying it,making the chance of winning a little bit higher.
It is better for me if I just bet that 0.25BTC in one go than doing small bets on different sessions. The latter requires more time to accomplish. And if you lose, you don't just lose money, you also lost time. If go YOLO on it, you don't spend too much time gambling. Spending too much on gambling may cause to be addicted to it. Well I can definitely understand that NBA teams have nothing to gain really from the Olympics and they are a risk for the players in terms of getting injured (Paul George anyone?). But I agree that international level is top notch, even NBA based teams lost against Argentina and similar squads in the past so I don't see a College or a Euroleague American players team having a shot at gold against Spain, Australia, France, etc... Even a sub par NBA team would have a hard time (Let's say for example a starting five of Isaiah Thomas, CJ Mccollum, Wesley Matthews, Kenneth Faried & Eric Monroe). That's a very good team but I can't really say they would bring the gold. Yes the NBA teams have nothing to gain, but I think Olympics is the battle of the best of the best. They shoukd still send theirs best player of any country. Your competing for the pride and honor of your country. USA should send their best players from the NBA to compete in the Olympics or the other countries will eat their players alive. One time they send College and Minor league player into the Olympics and they only got bronze medal. If they want to keep their title as the best in basketball, they should send their NBA star players. |
