For 30 thousand dollars you could go to Paris for a week and vacation there and come back while visiting great restaurants and historical things, for 300 dollars you could have a decent weekend at wherever you are, so it is not "tiny amount for a rich person" when it gets bigger since if you are super rich there is still other stuff you could do with that money, which is why winning is still quite important.
Very true. Some people think that rich people are not blown away by amounts like $30K which is true in some cases, but this applies to the minority based on what I have observed. Majority of the them still go crazy when they win such amounts.

Majority of them earned money through their own hard work which is why they tend to value every single cent(Eg: Bill Gates), but a minority of them treat such amounts like nothing(Eg: Rich kids who never earned anything).

The money which you gain from hard work, you know the value of that money and hence you will never waste that money. The rich kids who are born with a golden spoon in their mouth, will never understand how hard it is to collect the money.
Same goes with gambling, if anyone win big from gambling, that is called easy money and they will not know the worth of that money.

WILL WAIT FOR ANOTHER REMATCH BECAUSE OF THIS DISAPPOINTING ENDING Cheesy.

Rematch after rematch, are we going to keep on the rematch until the wider will win.
I think there should be no rematch and we should accept the Tyson fury victory. If they again decide to rematch, this will only to create a marketing technique to gain the hype and money from the event.

4025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: February 23, 2020, 05:55:40 AM
Majority say we gamble for fun. This is completely a false statement, because if there is no reward for the risk we take it shouldn't have gained such a popularity. People always want things to be achieved with ease and in short term. When we look on these factors, it is possible only through gambling. This is the prime reason to go for gambling without giving priority to investment.

Myself have gambled and lost big, once after losing my mind has thought several times I should've at least donated it to someone who is in need. This is most gamblers common mind.

Being bored has made me gamble, but the same hasn't caused addiction I just spend on sports betting. When things went out of my control I started to run to get back the loss which is where I lost everything.

This isn't pure entertainment, we can get entertained when we succeed but continued loss leads to frustration and stress. This way gambling isn't a fun zone or an entertainment platform.

I agree with you on every line you said. People just say it's an expensive entertainment but who the heck actually gets entertained when they lose money? Even a billionaire losing $1 would be sad for the loss. There are people who just want to gamble for money and to cover up they say they are doing for fun without expecting any profit and that's a lie!
Right people gamble to earn money and those who use to say that they are gambling for fun only or to entertainment I don't believe in it because for only entertainment we can use so many other ways apart from gambling. There are few sites where people gamble to enjoy spending the little money but I personally gamble because it's the best source to earn with enjoyment.

I agree with most of your point of view that people play gambling to win money but I disagree that gambling is the best source to earn money. Gambling is a very risky source of earning money because you may lose more than you may win form gambling.

I mostly gamble to get my time passed in a good way but I make sure I do not use more money in gambling.

4027  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Smartmixer.io hacked and Db being sold on Darkmarket on: February 22, 2020, 05:25:12 PM
Hello, i have noticed smartmixer.io has been down for a few days due to ddos. I came across a user on a popular dark net market site that is selling smartmixer.io code and claims there isn't enough coins to "mix" in there wallet . How true is this and should i stop using smartmixer.io?
The site notified that they were under DDOS attack. If you trust the site you can continue mixing the coins and it all depends upon your discretion as mentioned by hugeblack and how on earth does the hacker know about their cold wallet details.

also smartmixer.io has been showing 403 Forbidden all morning.
The site is functioning and active right now for me.

I am also able to access the site but I would not use it for mixing in the period where there is a fud of hack. I do not want my funds to be handed over the hackers and why would we use this site when there are other trusted mixers sites available. Let the situation settle down and then I will decide if I should try smartmixer or not.
4028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: February 22, 2020, 04:28:38 PM
Since we believe that there are people who become rich in gambling or they are making a living in gambling

Can you please share at least one person who made that, and please put some proof.

More often you will notice and experience that those who win big from gambling will not share their winnings and details as much as those who lost more in gambling. I don't know the reason for this behavior but we see more people who lose from gambling complaining here and those who won prefer to remain silent.
I could not remember anyone becoming rich from gambling and especially I am not that lucky one.

Do not miss this match live today on ESPN+ or Fox Sports, whichever channel is available in your area.

I love this one, good that it's not on PPV as we still have to pay for it, now we can watch it live in these channels.. I guess I only have Fox sports but I don't have ESPN +, not sure if ESPN and ESPN + is the same, someone enlighten me what's the difference and what ESPN+ caters?

ESPN+ is separate from ESPN  and it mostly covers the live streaming of the sports events.
You need to subscribe to ESPN+ in order to watch it.
Quote
The Difference Between ESPN and ESPN+ on WatchESPN
The ESPN+ service provides live streaming access to sporting events that aren't available on any of the regular ESPN cable channels. Aside from appearing on the same site, there is no overlap between ESPN and ESPN+.

4032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 22, 2020, 04:24:53 AM
There are a few gambling campaigns which paid directly into the gambling site bitcoin address. I think people who are in such campaigns are tempted to play with their earnings and as a result either lose their weekly wages or increase it through gambling. I do not earn much from the campaigns and therefore I do not gambling with my earnings. Also since we are paid to our own BTC address, you will find me lazy transfer that balance to the gambling casino.
4033  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoin Not allowing the Withdraw on: February 21, 2020, 05:44:42 PM
I got the below reply from their support and it is not very encouraging. What should i do now  Huh
What they said. You have two options:

1. Withdrawal now and close account.
2. Wait until they introduce the new verification for people of your country to be able to keep using them.

It all comes to: Do you need your money now? Do you mind having your coins stuck with them? Would you verify your account and keep using them? etc...

If OP has a business at localbitcoin of buy/sell and have good reputation, he may wait but I am interested to know how much BTC is stuck at localbitcoins, as if there is a small amount it might worth be waiting and not closing the account.

On the other hand, if OP is an occasional trader at lbc, it is better if he can close the account and get his btc back. Once localbbitcoins announces new terms, he may make a new account.
4034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: February 21, 2020, 03:51:21 PM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.

Well politics is dirty, regardless you are a gambler or other vices. Your opponents will attack you no matter what so with that said, I won't stop with my gambling habits.

I saw a lot of politicians here in my country with worst than gambling, but they still won the election no matter what. So it really depends on the candidate itself, it people see that you can bring something new in the table, then people are going to elect you, no matter what your past is, even a frequent gambler.

Being a politicians is one thing and playing gambling by a politicians should not be mixed with the politics. Everyone has the right to do whatever they feel good at and if we can do gambling, why can't popular people like politicians can do the same.
Yes, you can point out finger on them if they do not perform their duty well, but we should not interfere in their personal activities.
4035  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoin Not allowing the Withdraw on: February 21, 2020, 02:29:33 PM
Recently, Localbitcoins ban few countries from using the localbitcoins and i am belong to one of these countries.

Nothing you can do about this has been an issue for a lot of people around here lately and none managed to find a solution.
Contact support, inform them you want to delete your account and in 14 days they will send you all the BTC you have on the balance to the address you've confirmed with them.

I have send the support ticket but waiting for the reply.  Is it confirm that if we write them to close the account , they will return all the Bitcoin ?
Have you or anyone tried it successfully. Although i may not like to close my account as i have many successful trade history, in case one day localbitcoins lifts the ban.

Do let me know what does support replies to you ? Many people are suffering from this policy of local bitcoins and no one have the clue of how to solve this problem and recover their coins stuck there.

Hey guys!

We are Revain, the biggest review platform for crypto community. We noticed this topic and just curious about your feedback on the state of blockchain games in general, as well as Prospectors specifically. Is it worth playing? What are the future perspectives? Is it feels like traditional video game or something new?

We have a bunch of people who likes to write reviews on projects, exchanges and wallets, and recently they asked us to add blockchain games category. So we did: https://revain.org/blockchain-games

Let us know what you think about these games, you can create an account and leave reviews on any game, including Prospectors: https://revain.org/blockchain-games/prospectors. We want to understand whether they have any future and should we continue to push this category.

This thread is related to Prospectors game, so you do not need to advertise other blockchain games here, neither we need to comment of which games are good or bad. By the way, Prospectors  is an interesting game.

3. When you do things with tools you get 10x as much. For example, wood gathered by hand by workers comes in at 0.1 wood per min, so 6 in 60 min. With a saw and axe you get 60 per hour.

If you can find a cheap used stone hammer (stone only requires 1 tool, wood requires the 2 tools), use the money you get from gathering wood to buy that because 1 cheap tool is easier to get than 2x 100% non used tools.

4. Then get a saw and axe, because wood sells for a better price, and with tools you get 60 per hour.

5. Then decide if you need a wagon first, or more tools for your workers, and get a wagon or more tools for your workers.

Why don't you focus on buying a certificate first, which will make your workers work for consecutive 5 Hours (300 Mins) and then buy your workers tools to do the jobs.

4038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBOD: Non-custodial, Zero-Fee Crypto Derivatives Exchange on: February 16, 2020, 08:33:37 AM

yes I also see it clearly even since the launch of the bbod exchange there are so many problems that arise not only in the bbd token price issue but in the bbod exchange platform there are also bug bugs, i don't know what they want for their platform, if they want what best for their platform of course they will do their best

It seems like the team is unable and does not have the expertise to fulfill all their promises, the team incompetent
Leveraged zero fee trading is nonsense
All in all, BBOD is shit project....

whatever it is I hope they are fixing it as a whole they have to fix everything slowly and regularly, I really don't want the bbod platform to get worse, if the situation continues without any improvement, and I will go find another platform that is better than the platform bbod, hopefully they listen to it

I am too waiting for BBOD team to come up with something good which may increase the worth of the project and the token too. I have stopped following the price of this token as I thought the price is just dumping and there is no chance of recovery soon. Can anyone tell me what is the current price of 1 BBOD token ?

Hey, I am just starting out and would like to use a VPN, but don't know which one... Would you recommend NordVPN? I have done some reading https://www.reddit.com/r/nordvpn/ and looks alright, how is it for bitcoin stuff?

Where are you starting out ?  Do you need to use VPN with this forum ? There is no need to use vpn and you can access this forum without any worry with your own original IP.

By the way, I am also looking to find a VPN which is free of cost and good too. Is there any out there ?
4040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Separate Authentic Airdrops from Airdrop Scams on: February 16, 2020, 06:19:21 AM
We have forgotten the meaning of airdrops, for airdrops you don't have to do any tasks except the address that will be needed to receive coins while today's almost all airdrops require absurd amount of tasks.

Yes, there is a difference between airdrops and bounty. If you need to subscribe telegram channels etc, then it is called a bounty which you will get after doing some task. For Airdrop you just submit your address and that's all. Since the time required to participate in airdrop is very minimal, you can join in as many airdrops as possible. Even though many of them will be just waste of time but you never know a few might make you some dollars.
