4021  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 25, 2020, 02:53:28 PM
So, the best thing they can do is this quarantine. What worries me most is that despite the lockdown and everything, the virus keeps on spreading. Most countries are thinking about fully relaxing the curfew restrictions so that people start working to get food and everything. Underdeveloped countries do not have any other options except lifting out the lockdown restrictions.

Some governments are so greedy these times. I heard that some provinces in our country are extending their ECQ so that they will receive money from the government. It is said that places under ECQ receive money from the government, hence extending ECQ means receiving more money. I am not saying that all of them are like that but there are some. Instead of lifting the quarantine slowly to help their people work, they are making it a lot worst.

Same thing is also in my area when the lockdown is enforced, the government will provide assistance with a trial period of 3 months and I think that assistance is not enough in my opinion especially those who are married and children are not allowed to work outside if it has been terminated by the company, now here many people are increasingly worried because they cannot go out to look for work while the government rules have been applied before so in my opinion it is difficult for the community and it seems like there is no good from the government for the people.

If the experts will not find a fully working vaccine provably we will struggle since day by  day the number of infected is increasing and the lockdowns will prolong for sure many are suffering from hunger right now, but what I found in my country is the online transactions/selling is increasing and many people shift to sell goods to earn money despite on lockdown by the help of motorcycle services in apps or in kind, maybe your fellow countrymen should look after this since if everyone will be innovative for sure they will pass the quarantine with food in mouth.
4022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 25, 2020, 01:50:10 PM
The article is 2014 man. That's too old. The ankle already healed in Dallas.

OMG, didn't notice that .. I was just thinking of the ankle so I think it was really the ankle problem that made him out in the NBA early.
I don't know if it's healed in Dallas because his usual stats in NBA was not back again.

I checked his stats.. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/willide01.html

In Dallas he averaged 13.1 ppg, but I really don't know on how it contributes to the impact of the game, I guess he wasn't as productive than his previous teams especially with the Utah Jazz.

He's not consistent as he used to be before maybe he's been affected to much by his injuries, although he creates his all time high with 35 points and 9 assist but still his not consistent that's why he became a bench warmer. I don't know if he can comeback again on NBA since seems there's no team interested to sign him up since he's 35 years old and unproductive, I don't follow him anymore and I don't hear any latest about him.

We just discuss him because he is one of the exciting players in the past, but me either I don't expect to see him in NBA again
NBA now has a lot of choices and they always choose a young and healthy player, before NBA does are not getting international players, but now they do, so the competition gets higher as other countries had also improve their basketball to compete with the USA, and if we have seen the last FIBA world, USA did not win, it's Spain who win and Rubio and Gasol, an NBA players lead the team for that win.

There are so many young prospects right now and this TOP 60 prospect is solid the other free agent will struggle to find teams in this case, also I don't see Kai here maybe it will be change since the list still not final and the team owners will decide on which player they will choose.

Also I agree with you the competition internationally are getting more higher and I'm sure since NBA is a business they will get a player who have good fan base for profit and maybe Kai will be chosen since he's been hype to much by the media.

4024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams on: May 25, 2020, 11:38:29 AM
how they happen and how you need to pay attention to safeguard yourself against them.
The Computer Science saw a different phase when cryptography mechanism was introduced with Bitcoin. With this big of a change, threats of fraud increased, to safeguard from these malicious activity is extremely important. Startups without blockchain should not be trusted at all. Before committing to any company, their credentials should be reviewed.
There are many fake ICOs that can scam people easily. The best way is to do research before being affiliated to that exchange. Another way is to send an email and ask about the exchange to be cautious. Phishing is another way to scam people, by asking their details and asking them to invest their Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Fake Airdrops and Punycode are most common tricks.
There are many unregulated brokers that can lure clients in lower prices and trading products and fast returns. So, one needs to be vigilant. The automated trading systems are not scams but  they will take any opportunity to earn profits. Exchanges will charge an unfair amount to withdraw, the best way to avoid is to already be aware of exchanges price differences.
Fake emails look so authentic but at the end they are still fake. Check every bit of information before acting upon it. Many companies copy and paste some other company’s whitepaper, rather than having an original idea of their own.
Most exchanges use fake information for their team members. To be careful one must look for incomplete or inconsistent information and odd details.Inconsistent texts or details on any part of the website is also a red flag. One should read and proofread to be sure.
People should run scans to look for any Bitcoin miner or bot in the system. Companies will do anything for money, to ensure safety and security right websites should be used. There is a lot of responsibility one needs to practice in order to be careful.

your information about scam are so simple and not complete. if u tell a scamer these words they will use *10 and prove it to you on many ways that they are telling trues about project .and u cant even realize that. and eventually u will invest with them at the end .most of them are just marketers (strong marketers)

Agree with you since there are platforms who are good with introduction and strong marketing which makes the newbies fall in the trap, But their are actually signs that we can determine if the platform is good to go and mostly the one offers a big percentage of profit by investing at them will somehow a big red flag unto us so better we should be more observant as well careful on the things we are going to.

The OP post somehow helpful in some aspects.
4025  Economy / Gambling / Re: WOLF.BET - Provably fair Dice & HILO game ↕️ 30% Rakeback$500 Daily Race on: May 25, 2020, 07:16:20 AM
I known lots of people who earn their living in a Casino.  It is a matter of right strategy in every session I guess.  I have talked to one of them and told me that it is a matter of discipline and planning when to quit.  Though this person said that he does not win all the time but he is sure that he is raking profit in his career as a gambler.
Whoever told you that they could make a living out of a casino that has house edge in the games is lying

I don't know if it was me or somebody else

But I can tell you that technically you can make a living out of a casino (more specifically, from dice as a game of chance). So are you now going to tell me that I'm lying or what? I'm all ears, go ahead. I'm not looking for a fight so it is not an invitation for a brawl or whatever. I'm just curious how well you know the field to make such bold claims and can actually come up with anything to substantiate them. As they say (the so-called Sagan standard), extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence (I have such)

People will not tend to believe on something they not impossible but if you can provide proof with your claims maybe best to show it here since those proof can silence the people questioning on what you are saying here. But I really don't care on how things go or the result of it since as long as I enjoy the game I'm totally fine with it.

I'm not targeting to make out a living thru gambling since my main wants from this platform is only to have fun.
4026  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 24, 2020, 11:38:18 PM
Even when the crude oil prices touched the bottom my country increased taxes on the petroleum products, noticed minor increase on the taxes for tobacco and liquor products as well so the process has been already started when people are crying out for foods.Well play by the governments. Angry

The government could easily increase on products like tobacco and liquor but not on the basic needs.
In our country, when the tax was significantly increase on liquor, cigarettes, and beverages, people just feel it temporarily and still they are buying.

But if its the basic needs that will increase due to taxes, their, we might see some chaos because at the situation now where a lot of company closes and leads to unemployment, it's not possible to happen.

In our country the government already have a bill regarding on additional taxes on tabacco and cigarettes this was called sin tax law which cause the price of the said product became more expensive and this is good initiative since it could make people away from their vices.

But hopefully they will not look on adding more tax on basic need since as you said we might gonna go on worse case scenario since many people will struggle on their daily life, the current price right now is so expensive and how much more if they think about adding a additional tax with it.
4027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 24, 2020, 02:13:53 PM
I really thinks it's possible that there is an underground casinos are now happening in different places because there are really stubborn people who will do anything, so they could continue their gambling hobby. That is why the COVID-19 cases is continuously increasing all over the world because they can't keep themselves stay at their own homes.
I don't think new sufferers are average gamblers...  Tongue
I'm sure underground casinos exist. Casino owners definitely need the money and because they cannot open their places as usual, they must open their gambling business secretly and not be known publicly.

Yes it exist and it's so hypocrite for us telling that there's no one existing but those are casino who didn't secure their permits, And I don't think there are legal casino would gamble their licenses for just operating a illegal temporary matters since for sure if they will get sued by the government they will lose their license as well everything the efforts they build for so many years.

Although casino owners need money but for sure they will not get hungry if there's pandemic happening in the world.
4028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever get past $10K? on: May 24, 2020, 12:56:30 PM
Honestly wait 5 years without checking the price, you will be amazed.

I agree with you, but do you think everyone will be waiting for so long time?? That's impossible mate only big whales will deal with such stuff in my opinion also they used to manipulate whenever they want and we have experienced it as well. Halving was a real shock to many of them and I believe there was some hands of big whales on twisting the price, however I will take as a opinion and try it Cool

It's crazy to think that you buy something and you will not check it for the span of 5 years without knowing nothing since if happens you buy on the year 2017 then you will possibly cry out loud when the pants drastically dumping so badly, But if you are a risk taker then maybe its good to try since provably by 5 years you will get rich if good things come or you will lose everything when market collapsed again.

Yes, it is true, I only had 3 referrals before participating in their signature campaign, even though I started using their platform many years ago. By putting my referral link into the signature (they allow this). I have got a lot of new referrals  Cheesy 0.003 BTC is not a big amount, but it is great for an affiliate program  Cheesy

I always wanted to join FBC's signature campaign, but Quin sets the standards a tad too high

*cries in a corner*

Make it as an inspiration to do better post since if your post quality is good + you have huge numbers of merits earned for the past 120 days then you will get a high chance to join the campaign when there's slot available, For now build up and cheer up since Freebitcoin is not the only one who open up a campaign there are so many of them open and as well in future there will be more slot open from new campaign coming in this forum.

Christie Pearce Rampone a three-time Olympic gold medalist invested in bitcoin. She told her fans that she had a conversion with the CEO of Binance America, Catherine Coley.

She was convinced to buy some BTCBTC for the first time.

It looks like a lot of celebrities are getting interested in investing or buying some bitcoin.

It's good thing that bitcoin brought to another level since for sure her post can gather more attention on what she was going to but my question about her is  can she handle the volatility of the market? If she is brought by hype for sure he will get panic when the price is dumping, But let's hope that she was well educated for the talks and she is open for the possibilities of the moving market of bitcoins.
4031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Creator Dead on Covid-19? on: May 24, 2020, 09:46:51 AM

He is someone who does spend a lot of time on computers and therefore I do think he would be inside for most of the time and this time would be actually beneficial for him , like a dream come true .

This is what I am thinking to since he is techie so provably he/she is introvert and this could make him/her safety to the virus, so maybe he is just enjoying reading the peoples speculation about his disappearance.

I actually find this post a little funny and entertaining. Anyway, there is no way to know if the creator of Bitcoin is now dead due to the power of Covid19 as in the first place there is no way to definitely for sure who is actually the real Satoshi Nakamoto. As always, we must remember that the man went underground for reasons only he can elaborate so maybe the best thing to do is to left his wish as it is. e can continue on speculating and proposing scenarios as to what happened to the man but these should be taken for entertainment purposes only.

So funny to see this kind of threads coming up again and people who is just wide fantasy is just trying to connect the current situation on what really happens on Satoshi Nakamoto since the real fact is he's long time lost and no one find him yet, and maybe he's just continue hiding and always facing his computers all day long.
4032  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun - PROVABLY FAIR Blackjack Accepts Dash/Bitcoin/Litecoin on: May 23, 2020, 11:46:05 PM
To become the most trusted, most honest, coolest looking, interactive blackjack on the market. Way to this goal is hard but we accept the challenge.

Way to go if you want to compare the site with other bitcoin casino around here but in term of most unique then the site is way ahead for now. There isnt other site that focus solely on blackjack yet as blackjack is probably niche around here compared to dice and crash game  Wink
I agree on the unique part, if it is about blackjacks this website is number one, there is no competition even close to it right now. Of course we are still sort of early days of crypto casino, in 20-30 years this could become the standard of gambling online so I do not really feel like we are even half way there yet.

Nope blackjack is everywhere check the link below for reference.

https://bitcoincasinokings.com/games/blackjack/

But what good thing here is the site take the fame since I think due to the article released recently and blackjack fun should create more competitions since this is the most entertaining to see, for sure many gamblers want competition to especially if there's a huge pot reward for the winner.
4033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: May 23, 2020, 10:02:45 PM
OP like those x2,x3,x4,x5 winnings per spin on slots plus the chance of jackpot that's why he thinks that dice isn't that better.

This is the first time I encounter that as a reason why someone will say slots are better than dice.

Gamblers have different tastes, preferences, factors on choosing what gambling game they want. OP, both dice and slots do have the same chance in terms of winnings whether for short-term or long-term as you are dealing with the house-edge, so whatever you choose to play, just try to get out if you are already winning on that particular day.
Also my first time too on hearing out this kind of reasoning but actually this will matter on self preference because we do have different insights towards gambling
games that we are involved into.
When it comes to potential wins or multipliers then I would say that Dice is much more better yet we can set out on what odds we do like from 1.1x- to maximum depending on the max payout on where a gambling site do set on.
The only thing that differs slots from dice is to those fancy pictures and sounds that cant be found on a dice game but other than that I do still prefer
on playing dice.

Especially if you see the house edge of slot where it has 5% - 10% where 1% is the highest the will find out how the crap is the slot is, maybe he just get amaze on the glowing pictures, funny sounds and other appealing things that's why he choose slots but in terms of multipliers I will go with the dice.

But as you said we have different preferences so we have different opinion regarding on this comparison so maybe slots are more enjoyable for him and the chance to win a bigger jackpot is there that's why he selects it.
4034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If War breaks out between China and the US, can China hack Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2020, 12:50:56 PM
IF war with China should happen this summer with the UNited States,,, could China hack Bitcoin if it had to regardless of cost?

Lol, To much netflix could create fantasy so better minimize watching that since in real life there's no one will notice on bitcoin since if you look on current situation even if there's no war still we can see it unnoticed by many chines and american, only the techie or people who always stay on internet notice this so it's impossible for your claims to happen since no one can hack the bitcoins itself. Maybe the war will make bitcoins price go cheaper but still no one can control this even if the war happens.
4035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin movements, possibly owned by Satoshi. on: May 23, 2020, 12:13:20 PM
I hope that 1 millions of satoshi bitcoin will be never touched, overwise it will dump btc so hard
If he owns 1 million BTC and he sells them all, it'd actually help Bitcoin be more decentralized. Just think about it: if 1 million out of 21 were his, that's approximately 5% of BTC held by a single person. If he sold, they'd all go to different persons.

I think that if Satoshi exists, then he will not allow this, since such actions will lead to panic and discard the cryptocurrency world in its development ten years ago.
Therefore, I doubt that Satoshi Nakamoto will want to harm his brainchild by such actions.
Why do people always think Satoshi was the kindest guy ever? He could've been a serial killer - just the fact that Bitcoin was invented by Satoshi doesn't make him entirely a good guy. Maybe his intentions weren't even the ones we think they were. Everything about him is a supposition and even if he was to sell his 1M BTC .. why would you wish he didn't? He created all of this. I think he deserves his reward. Smiley
Well maybe they thought that since he creates bitcoins which helps many people financially but we don't really know if he's kind or what, the only thing we know about him is just a little, No once can even show if satoshi is girl or a boy, And also I agree with you there's no problem if he move that since he have the right to do on his creation and its little percentage of holdings, But if he dump 1000BTC in one day well we can say there's something bad going on.
4036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 23, 2020, 10:29:01 AM
if their resume, what conference they are going to play? is it still the all filipino?

Probably yes.

I'm browsing TV channels around 17:00 (local time) yesterday and saw a basketball scene. That was on IBC13 and they are airing their news program at that time. They are now on the sports section that's why I saw a basketball image and that was PBA. As per the report, PBA will continue to All-Filipino once it resumed.

As bisdak mention, I doubt PBA will allow imports for now even let's say there is no travel restriction. Governors and Commissioners can be done next year as a fresh start. And besides, one conference takes 2-3 months IIRC including post-conference activity so All-Filipino is the only conference they can play this year.

Thanks for the additional thoughts, well, I am convince now that they will do an all filipino cup due to travel restriction and we don't have import then.
We don't know when the travel ban will resume world wide so I guess if PBA will resume, we will be seeing more on All filipino players going to play and actually I am happy with that as we can witness which players are really good, it's their chance to showcase their talent more since in the old format, there's only one conference where all filipino plays, we just really love import a lot.

That would be happen since it's so dangerous to get an import due to the current state of the world but still this is good since PBA still fun to see even if they don't have power player on their sides,  the most important thing here is hopefully they can get back but for now maybe the league should do a proper realignment on what would their adjustment since there is a pandemic.

For sure it will be fun to watch them on live action again since many PBA fans are bored staying at home.
4037  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐉CoinDragon.com 🐉- Provably the best crypto gambling in the world!💰 on: May 23, 2020, 08:43:45 AM
Only BTC & BCH are available for deposit. I would highly recommend to add popular crypto like ETH,MONERO,DOGE. Sometimes, we find it difficult to exchange cryptocurrency.

For having a network difficulty and high fees with btc right now its really good to have alternatives like doge, eth or maybe xrp since they are cheap also fast in transactions, But I don't think this will be the main focus by the devs right now since as they said they are on more competitions to make their site exciting and I am somehow ok with this since there's still bch option which is good alternative.

Paying for fake vouch? hmm smell fishy out here, what type of service are you offering for your page and why do you need those? Because its untrustworthy to see people asking for that here and I don't also think if there's someone will do that for just $0.3 cents.

If you want to gain trust be organic and let people give a word on what they experience on the type of service you offered.

4039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price drops is a buying opportunity? on: May 21, 2020, 12:12:42 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) price abruptly dropped 4.9% from $9,800 to $9,324 after rejecting at a key resistance level again, is it a buy the dip opportunity?  Huh

Not all the drop is perfect opportunity to buy since we didn't know if there's more dump coming so best to wait for a little more of time, if you see a little stability on the dip then try to accumulate and wait for the pump. Also put a safety net on your actions since we never really know on what will be the outcome on your action so best to create a good action so that you will not fall in the traps.
4040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possible to Manipulat bitcoin price?? on: May 21, 2020, 10:32:46 AM
Shortly: It is definitely possible!

There are always manipulations, from whales, from exchanges on any financial markets, not only crypto market and crypto exchanges. Have you ever thought why we have news, real, fake, delayed ones? In addition, news always bring markets move up or fall down.

but for the crypto market the manipulation level has risen to another level. It seems that every activity of the whole market is manipulated by a group of whales. They control the market and all coins follow it. This is an unacceptable thing.
As for other financial markets, it has the limits of trading. and whales only dare to manipulate in one or two businesses, it is not capable of manipulating the whole market. This is something to compare and condemn in the crypto market.

We don't have any proof if there are certain groups of big whales manipulating the market since there's no any foot tracks directed it unto them but the one I see for the past years is manipulated by creating fuds which can create panic to the people to sell. But if this really happened already then we are playing on bad market and bitcoin will have no future since its manipulated as you said.
