4021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 19, 2020, 12:50:01 AM
It wasn't a failure but not also a 100% success by then. It needs more adjustment and more time to finally adopt the new normal, is a thing that no one around is shouting loud but all of them are just watching on TV or on the internet live. The game must have to continue despite these huge changes, though it wasn't really lively to see but that is what we have today. Social distancing, limited numbers of allowed person to get inside, we have nothing to complain because that is the protocol and we have to follow it.

4022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it just me or anyone experienced it as well? on: October 18, 2020, 11:30:55 AM
I've been playing lately dice game from different platforms and usually I use a strategy that I run in hours. But there are some point wherein the roll of the dice behaves unusually fast and results to consecutive losing that swept my bank roll and it's too late to stop the automated betting since it rolls too fast.
Such a weird thing it happens to you. I actually had the same experience but still I can make to stop it unlike in you case.
The question is, are using reputable site? Coz that instances might happen to non-legit sites. They are taking you money quickly and sometimes you've even not noticed that you've run out already with you cash.

I suggest also asking it to their support, because if that so often to happen? They are making a way out for all gamblers.
4023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof of pure luck on: October 18, 2020, 11:09:35 AM

each game favored the fairness for the casino operators meaning gamblers is at either 60/40 winning chance or much lower.
in this case the longer player bet is the biggest profit owners gain.
60% losing chance while 40% winning chance, well, not bad at all.

We already know how casinos have run this business and it is their part also to take profit otherwise, they won't survive. That is why if we think about gambling, LUCK is very important. We have the skills and knowledge but this neither be enough to win. And this implies that gambling is not to be considered as a source of income (as a player) but this is a great venture for the owners.
4024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone betting on "Electronic Leagues"? on: October 17, 2020, 01:41:51 PM
I'd never try this honestly but it looks interesting to me, though. Maybe just a try but I don't want to make myself betting in here because I don't feel comfortable and more entertaining compraed to live games.

I know that this it runs into a certain programs, I'm not sure if this can be still manipulated or not which I'm worried about and this could also a reason why it lessen the interest for many bettors.
4025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading volume and volatility alert on: October 17, 2020, 12:10:18 PM
How'd you know that it is legit? Does the notice send to you via email or just a text message? Are you expecting someone will send you a message informing such a thing? Probably no...

It can only be trusted if you know that is coming from reputable sites but even that, none of them will assure you for great returns. What they do is to give you some encouragement to try their services. I don't think about it saves time, it is a way to fool people for sure, and I hope you have realize it and saves you from losing.
4026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm very worried about my Crypto Trading. on: October 16, 2020, 11:54:10 PM
That normal to worry about trading when it's your first time dealing with cryptocurrency. What's important is to prevent that kind of feelings, don't use huge amount of money for the start of your capital. I suggest to invest only at $10, it not painful when you fail on trading and you can learn within a step by step process; before risking at bigger quantity of money.
We can't enjoy that $10 and it is a too small amount to start learning in trading. More experience = more learning and it is impossible for a $10, maybe $100 is good enough then. Learning to trade is costly but if you can make it short, you can save more. But you don't need to rush, not exactly what I mean about short-time learning. If you have studied it before in actual trading, that would be an advantage and it saves time.

But we should have to keep in mind that everything can't be good at all. Sometimes we struggle hard and that is a part of trading, and that should be included in our preparation.
4027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: October 16, 2020, 01:55:18 PM
If you don't care about losing, overspending doesn't matter to you but if you are in limited resources, not really an advantageous strategy. Spreading small bets into multiple games have advatage but for me, if I lose my first bet I have still a chance to recover in the next game unlike if you are betting a huge amount in single bet, putting all of your money...chances is 50/50 and if you lose, that was the end of your day.
4028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All most 75 exchanges and tradings have been dead in 2020 on: October 15, 2020, 02:02:13 PM
This means the competition in this industry is very high and also only few exchanges in the list which I’m very familiar and haven't tried trading any. In this industry, they have to be creative on how they could compete with other reputable exchanges. So it happens that some can't survive that turns out to be a dead exchange, and, only those can stay in this industry that has a great marketing strategy.
They don't need to be creative, actually. Only they must have to be consistent with what they say, would like to say that they promise high volume, that exactly what the traders have to look at. There's a lot of dead exchanges because they fail to give the desires of their traders and it comes to the point that they have been rejected.

The reality is that the future of these exchanges lies in the hand of the traders and investors, not from the developers itself. If the team can deliver the best, expecting more users to come and that is a big challenge for them, and they should have to do it in order to attract people otherwise, it all be done shortly.
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is DeFi over? then old coins revolution ? on: October 14, 2020, 11:42:26 PM
still defi makes a good position in crypto market & i hope that defi not over yet , but defi effect may be down. on the other side old coins are looks good but all old coin are not good. old coin like eth or EOS moving too much good.
thanks
You have to accept that the Defi projects have started to give up. All of them are started to decline, thus if you have invested them better to sell it now. From ICO, IEO, and now Defi, they all gone just like how volatility we are.

Anyway, I was expecting this to happen as well. They come into hypes even those shit projects, no wonder why it goes like this and sooner or later they all be dead.

I know that not old coins are good for investment but much more for new coins. I keep Bitcoin and some altcoins that I think is profitable, maybe you can take that as well.
4030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card Counting in Blackjack on: October 14, 2020, 02:49:34 PM

Also, fuck pretentious pros who sell online courses. The only courses I will spend my money on is language courses or programming.

I fully agree with you, most of these courses are just rip offs. If there was a perfect strategy to win in black jack everytime, why would people make them public? Casinos would just catch up on them and change their strategies. I mean it's almost 2021,all the information you need is available for free on the Internet. Why spend money if you can find the news yourself? There are plenty of books out there about beating the casinos. But people need to understand it's still not a guaranteed win. I would not buy any of these courses myself.

I don't believe that there are still comprehensive and effective card counting courses there is no such thing because these blackjack operators are miles ahead when it comes to blackjack,  they know all the things that players will employ and they made sure that they are competitive and the4y are sustainable but still players can still win.
That was so unfair. Did they just do this in order to save them not to lose?
This will give no interest to the gamblers, this will ruin everything, the trust, and the site owner. Gamblers are expecting a fair play and to win but because of what they have done by some casinos, it gives a way to step out and find another. This is an act of greediness and this badly making no sense to play blackjack knowing that we have no chance of winning.
4031  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do they use our computers for CPU mining? on: October 14, 2020, 01:53:41 PM
If you download something from that site and cause the HIGh usage of the CPU, I'm not sure if it is about the compatibility of your PC but might be possible. I'm not thinking that they are using our CPU for mining but as I read this one https://www.cnet.com/how-to/find-out-if-websites-are-mining-bitcoin-cryptocurrency/. Probably they are taking such an advantage when we are visiting their site and not all of us are having an idea with this scheme.

Maybe this could help if you'll find out that they are actually using your PC for mining.

4032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 13, 2020, 02:33:36 PM
I think one reason why governments weren't be able to accept bitcoin is because it can disrupt the flow of economy inside a country. Imagine having something that you can't control. What would happen? It could cause a drastic, which is good if thing goes smooth. But otherwise, it could cause chaos like the typhoon does to everything in its path. Like the typhoon, you can't control its strength, range, direction, speed etc. Similar to bitcoin, you can't control it's price, it go down or up to the extremes, which is, a significant factor to consider once it is in the economy of a country. And once it happens, bitcoin will forever be changed.
It simply because Bitcoin is decentralized and a reason why some country leaders aren't making its way to ruin their economic interest.
it has been discussed already before about its regulations and wanted that the government will take control over it but it was been declined since there is no support from the community.

Some didn't while some countries also are open to Bitcoin and allowed their people to make use of it. It can be somehow in the future that these countries who against Bitcoin will change their mind.
4033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 13, 2020, 01:51:36 PM
For me I take this pandemic as an opportunity.

Well, it's indeed an opportunity during this dire situation.
People had enough time to read and learn the fundamentals of trading while being quarantined and deprived to come to their respective day jobs.
Learning how to trade as a means to support the loss of daily income that has been badly affected by the pandemic is a good initiative, but what I see as a wrong perspective from new crypto traders is they thought it's easy to make profit in this very volatile market. Thus, causing some of them to suffer a huge loss.

It's a big lie saying that trading could be easy. I may not be saying that trading is the best opportunity at this time, this is only just another option to take for those who are willing to lose and those who want to spare their time in learning how to do this. I've to agree that trading could be profitable if you know how to play the market's volatility and have extraordinary knowledge in this. But if we don't have, well, that we need to face a big challenge in our life.
4034  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 11, 2020, 11:37:58 PM
I haven't read the previous posts in this thread but I like to ask if they have plans adding a sportsbetting option in the site.
Honestly, I don't think this is right time for them to add a sportsbook section since they are primarily focusing on their casino for now and they will probably will continue to do so in the near future until they reach their goals.

The crypto sportsbook market is currently saturated in my opinion and rushing to add a sportsbook section just because their rivals are doing so could prove detrimental to their future profits.
Reach their goals? Basing of in numbers then I can say that this would be enough and theyre approaching 1 Billion bets and it isn't really a bad idea if they will add up

sportsbetting option just like any other famous site out there.Even if they would put this one it doesn't really affect or would be bad on the site but rather they will give out

more options that might other gamblers will be interested about. We know on how big sports bettor here on crypto space and if they will plan to go into that market then
they would really have the chance on getting players.
Roobet.com had found the best strategy to attract gamblers. They gain the trust from the community and more often they reach beyond their goal as it sees it. But this is a big challenge for them on how to consistently manage this huge number of participants and bets. Well, I hope that they can make it competently as what they did since from the start and adding sports betting will isn't hard for them(maybe).
4035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: October 11, 2020, 11:16:13 PM
So having skills plus luck are needed, thats why there are gamblers who make gambling as profession or relying on it for a living.

That's the wonder of playing skill games.

Even with a bad set, you can turn the table, for example with the card-game you mentioned and for other card games as well.

Luck won't just come to us if we don't have skills. And even with a good set, without skills, winnings are not always 100%. But for the part that I will use my skills to rely on gambling to make living, that's a no for me.
We can't feel that luck if we don't do anything to win.
It called skilled-games because it definitely requires skills to play. Yeah, if you have the skill you can make a change of the game. That is why if you could look into a game between a newbie and a 10-year-old gambler, you can see the difference in how they play. Because the more you've got in gambling especially in this field, the more you have gained knowledge and improve your skills.

4037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin sportsbook bonuses on: October 11, 2020, 10:20:50 AM
I don't have many references regarding sportsbooks offering bonuses, but maybe you would be willing to use coinbet24.com, they offer a first deposit bonus and maybe you are interested in the bonus offered. I personally am just an ordinary gambler and am not really pursuing a bonus offer for now, I think if you are chasing a bonus at least that sportsbook will be fine for you. Good luck!
Bonus attracts more gamblers to use their services but I don't it weights a lot because the most important is to find legit and reputable gamblings site/s that we comfortably play with. A lot of new gambling sites just coming and it was noticed that most of them are offering such bonuses. Could be a part of the competition by now and those who offer great will likey it gains more attention.
4038  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest "Hand Drawn" - $1250 up for grabs! Ends October 5th on: October 10, 2020, 10:34:48 AM
Would like to congratulate all the winners...

@Pro Ads

I did my best in here but likely it was enough to win the competition...hahaha
Maybe I have to try it more if Roobet will make another Hand Drawn contest again in the future... Grin
4039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: October 10, 2020, 10:13:09 AM
Has anyone here seen the following betting platform? This thread made me curious and I found a few sites but this one is crazy. Allows gamblers to bet on basically anything. I don't know how it works in detail, if it's a scam or not but maybe you can tell.
https://www.betmoose.com/bet/will-donald-trump-be-elected-president-in-2020-4401#bets-1

https://www.bitcoingambling101.com/reviews/betmoose/
I don't want to draw any conclusion about their legality but seeing them not yet verified as casino we should have to act cautiously or not at all to keep safe.
Quote
Site Security
Betmoose uses 128-bit SSL encryption provided by AddTrust on all pages. However, no license is available. This is not surprising because there is no institution to license a peer-to-peer pari-mutuel betting system. Remember that Betmoose does not check bets created by the users beforehand: Even if there is no problem with security, avoid bets with very complex and/or unusual outcomes.
This will give me worries a lot and thinking a possible exit scam soon to happen.
4040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 09, 2020, 10:24:27 AM
Those people who refuses to use bitcoin as payment method are those who thought that bitcoin is a scam and they fear that they will lose their funds and something like that. Their mindset is negatively affecting the adoption for an easiest and reliable transactions. We can't blame their hesitations because there are a lot of negative things that people who knew less about it had stated. But, I know that time will come eventually that they will lose their doubts and tried it, because we are much modern now and crypto currencies trend and popularity is getting wider and the adoption are getting more bolder.
Nope, I doubted that they will change their mind towards crypto because they live already with that kind of doubt. Those people who are open-minded will simply put at risk without hesitation and doubts.

And also, I stop thinking Bitcoin adoption has to come faster because it was not I looked into now.
*scamming issues
*delay transactions
*rises of phishing sites
These are factors that make people to get worried about entering Bitcoin (IMO).
