4021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usefulness of Football Clubs Fan Token in the Soccer industry on: December 17, 2020, 08:56:40 AM
These fan tokens are a new source of income for the clubs! With fan token, you will be able to do the following tasks,

1. Buy official merchandise from their own/partner website
2. Vote for club events to let the management know the demand of the fans. But wouldn't have any power to take decision
3. Take part on official club related events or even can meet the footballers at the event if you pay that much amount.

These tokens don't have any other use, definitely not a real world use.
Basically, this is sort of membership through a club which fans have some incentives that they can enjoy through they've chosen football token club.

And if I'll compare it, this is like the trending website today which is the onlyfans but that has an expiration, while owning a fans token club doesn't have. This is new to me but if there's only one exchange listed on it, this is an exclusive token for die hard fans.
4022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin balance on exchanges has fallen to it's lowest amount since 2018 on: December 17, 2020, 07:48:17 AM
It has finally reached $20,600. I'm looking at the price through coinmarketcap and if it keeps going that everyone continuously holding to our very own wallets, demand would definitely increase.

This will make everyone trust more holding and wanting to hit more certain higher prices in the upcoming year.
Is there a certain limit where everyone would sell at or there'd always be higher prices to aim for?
Imo, spikes in price shouldn't motivate one to buy or hold Bitcoin, this way it would atract a lot of weak hands who would get spooked at every drop in price (and we'll get threads about, massive 2% drops in price). If one concentrated more or what Bitcoin is actually about, holding wouldn't sound like a nerve-racking task, but rather an easy choice among the available options.

Do not get me wrong, everyone wants profit and you can't particularly lock profit in Bitcoin due to its current volatility, so at different times you'd always pull out the occasional fund you need to handle daily demands. Striking the perfect balance in your portfolio is very important.
There's always a higher price that others are aiming just like me. You're also right that we all want to take profit but there's always the possibility that it can go for a higher price. The greed index is increasing but I don't know if that's accurate at all. With all of the news that institutions are buying bitcoins as much as they can, it is one factor that I'm counting to keep holding. It is totally fine to take profits as this ATH, we've been waiting this for 3 years but I'll still keep some to be held for a year or two or more.

As long as I've not yet out of cash, I'll not touch the majority current holding that I have but would also definitely sell a few and chunk of it. But if it drops, then I'll take some of it to add more bitcoin.
4023  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC break 21000 usd, great! on: December 17, 2020, 06:18:15 AM
after BTC break 20k usd,the top of top,now btc over 21000usd,
Just as everyone is happy and celebrating that bitcoin has finally topped to $20k then here comes the $21k and as I'm typing this post, the price just reached $22,070. What a quick turn of events for bitcoin while leaving most of the altcoins with its dominance and price skyrocketing.

ưhat  next target for usd in this year?
There's still enough time for bitcoin to reach $25k if the pattern will still be the same from $19k to $22k that just happened real quick. But it doesn't matter how much the price of bitcoin will be ending for this year. We've got plenty of time to think of 2021 than to think of the end of this year.
4024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Experts...how long do you think this bullish trend will last? on: December 17, 2020, 05:06:39 AM
I'm not an expert and no one can exactly say how long this bull trend will last. But this quote has said it with observation about the four year cycle of bitcoin.

The basic four year market cycle model has this long term bullish trend continuing for a year. $100k the likely target.

Unless you are talking about shorter time periods like how long until the next local correction. In that case I'd guess in January we'll see a correction back to the $16k-$18k range if price pushes up to $23k-$25k this month.

Just a guess. There's no such thing as an expert. Everyone is just guessing based on prior experience, recent events and momentum, and technical signals (which themselves just lead to educated guesses which could be right or wrong).

What's your status OP? are you one of us that's enjoying this bull run who had kept and hodl some during the lowest price of bitcoin? What's on your mind? are you asking because you want to know if it's still a good time to buy? if that is so, it's hard to tell on this point if you're not long term in bitcoin. Buying at this level will give you some fear.
4025  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Impossible to withdraw from Binance on: December 17, 2020, 03:45:08 AM
Are they going to say when will the normal operations of withdrawal will resume? They tweeted that their team is working on some issues. So at least they are aware that some issues are going on here.

https://twitter.com/binance/status/1339211079977631744?s=19

And talking about binance, I am more confident that they will rectify the issue rather than if you encounter it to some medium exchange. We are experiencing a new ATH, so maybe people are in panic mode here.
It should be fixed by now. Usually when there are technical issues like this, it wouldn't take a long time and if they have given a timeframe then that's the waiting time that everyone should expect unless they will come up with a surprise or extended fixing time but usually they don't do that.

You don't have to worry with Binance, they'll fix issues as soon as they've found out or someone has reported it. They wouldn't become one of the best exchanges if they can't solve issues immediately.
4026  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Impossible to withdraw from Binance on: December 16, 2020, 09:05:01 PM
I dont understand how this new ATH affect Binance, same complains with Telegram and coingecko, The webdsite and app are so slow and sloggy, I want to believe is peculiar to some accounts not all, My account functions well at the moment. I hope your withdrawal can be delayed and done some other time
We usually see this happen for most exchanges when bitcoin hits another high price. Still a mystery if these downtimes, server, withdrawal issues are just mere coincidence.

One possible reason could be the volume of their traffic and visitors which affects the website mainly.
4027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Bitcoin Hit $20,000? on: December 16, 2020, 07:49:19 PM
I guess there are already winners now as bitcoin hits $20k a while ago.

It already reached $20,000 it's all in the news. I was wondering if someone managed to win and make the right prediction was this an official post or was just made for fun?
What a coincidence if someone just guessed it out of almost the same date as 2017's ATH. The tab for "Bitcoin $20k" is still there. CMC would likely announce the winners soon or if they'll not disclose it, that's fine as long as there are lucky guys that have won the prediction.  Smiley
4028  Economy / Gambling / Re: BullX.io fair PvP jackpot&coinflip games on: December 16, 2020, 06:48:00 PM
I've seen several PvP casinos before but they're no longer that popular with the chosen games they want to have on their website. The idea that you've just brought is new about the PvP coinflip. I think you should be good if the players who are ready and placed their bets can be against to a bot that's provably fair.

If they've been waiting for a long time to have someone fight against them, there should be at least an option to flip the coin even if there's no opponent and that will automatically goes against to bullx.
4029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin balance on exchanges has fallen to it's lowest amount since 2018 on: December 16, 2020, 05:38:11 PM
There are very specific reasons if that data is correct and that is everyone don't want to let exchanges hold their funds. The majority has been holding and there's an expectation that the next year will show greater price. And, they want to avoid possible exchange hacks.
Yeah i am quite agree with you. I don't think who are planning to hold bitcoin on their wallet for next few years they will like to keep their fund on exchanges. keeping bitcoin on exchanges was never a safer option for holders where they prefer to keep it on their own safety. Recently we have seen  some companies who made good amount of investment in bitcoin and its a clear sign that more will join the rally soon.

Moving bitcoin from exchanges to personal wallet is a sign that holders are planning to hold their assets for a long time and have no plan to sell immediately. Definitely its gonna help bitcoin to climb up more faster.
And just as we're discussing about the quick climbing for bitcoin's price. It has finally reached $20,600. I'm looking at the price through coinmarketcap and if it keeps going that everyone continuously holding to our very own wallets, demand would definitely increase.

This will make everyone trust more holding and wanting to hit more certain higher prices in the upcoming year. And this makes worrisome if someone still keeps his/her funds through an exchange and uses it as a cold storage if they're not planning to use the exchange what it used to be.
4030  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoRatio.net - cryptocurrency market and charts on: December 16, 2020, 09:25:41 AM
Clear interface just like coinmarketcap for its white background. I've observed it for a couple of seconds and there's a feature that your crypto market monitoring site doesn't have. I'm specific about the real-time price movement that CMC and coingecko has.

When I click the dark mode, the header isn't changing its font color. I think you need to make it readable and lighter just as the other tabs you have, crypto calculator, gainers, losers and so on. They automatically adjusting the font color when I switch the dark mode.
4031  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: can i find an investor here for a startup? on: December 15, 2020, 04:07:13 PM
Anyone with an idea can not just come here and ask for investment Smiley
With all of those projects and ideas (non-ICO) related, it's unsure of how many of them became successful. For startup owners, you should have it in your minds that if you lack of funds, you must have the idea already in which platform you'll get investors.

Google search those websites that deals with angel investors. It's the place to start it out and just complete all the necessary details and impress everyone with your introduction, idea and how you'll execute it.
4032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin balance on exchanges has fallen to it's lowest amount since 2018 on: December 15, 2020, 03:03:34 PM
It is an article in September. Why did you seed it now?

I agree the move of bitcoin from exchanges to personal wallets is good signal for a new holding wave and a more growth of bitcoin but why the article is reseeded.

Yes, the article was months ago but it could still be a good discussion.

There are very specific reasons if that data is correct and that is everyone don't want to let exchanges hold their funds. The majority has been holding and there's an expectation that the next year will show greater price. And, they want to avoid possible exchange hacks.

Even if it's a bullish sign, when everybody talks about the market being bullish. We can't remove the fact that speculations like this makes a few worry that a bear might appear and it's just a trap.
4033  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase vs Binance on: December 15, 2020, 02:03:55 PM
Funny how the once mighty Bittrex is left out in conversations for top exchanges based in US. The forcing of KYC and locking up accounts sure left a permanent scar on many users.

On the battle between Coinbase and Binance, it will boil down to how good their services are. I mean both are heavily regulated, require KYC, limited coins and tokens to trade with.
I learnt Bittrex now have a branch that operate outside US. The condition of US is too strict for cryptocurrency exchanges and I dont doubt possibility of the financial implication by the government. Binance US can be assess after few years if they do not increase the transaction fee but I think the demand to stop Americans from the other Binance exchange might be implication that the exchange has started feeling the US govt heat. More also exchanges from US dont have access to some coin because of the legal implication it might bring.
Binance US is certainly made for US residents because of the jurisdiction and laws that's being implemented. Binance has made it specific for those customers they have residing at one of the strictest country handling cryptocurrency exchanges and transactions.

Bittrex was once popular but it's not the same anymore. It seemed to be forgotten although volume is remaining there and customers who are satisfied will them will stay. But Binance us and Coinbase, many do prefer Coinbase still.
4034  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: December 15, 2020, 09:07:03 AM
Buying it with luxury immediately and if that's the sole plan you've got, you're just wasting your purchasing power and chance to invest it through another income generating asset. But if that luxury such as Ferrari would generate you profit through rental income, why not buy it? as long as you already have a prospect that shall rent it.

But if I've got it, I'll use it to buy first with bitcoin prolly 40%-60% of it. And I'll forget that amount within a couple of years until we see bitcoin hits 6 digits. And then the remaining amount would be for real estate and other assets like stocks and bonds. 5%-10% I'll leave it as plain cash.
4035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Loan backed market pump? on: December 14, 2020, 09:15:38 PM
A price crash and them not having USD to pay off the debt so their collateralised Bitcoins will be taken away cheap. Speculation with something so volatile as Bitcoin is very dangerous thing.
Just as what I think. They are leveraging their bitcoins and taking this much risk would put them into a fall if they're not prepared or well planned by doing this. Although I'm not hoping for that but what would be the whole market's reaction if that happens?

These institutions are somehow into FOMO due to the fact that they're missing the train. But they've realized that it's not that late. And with such offers of taking loans through collaterals of their BTC makes it easier for them to keep buying and taking profits if necessary. They just gonna repeat the cycle every inch moves of bitcoin's price.

4036  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ LOOT.BET — Made For Live Betting | Esports, Slots, Mini Games on: December 14, 2020, 08:14:02 PM
Loot.bet is one of the best betting sites. I registered here about 1 year ago, because my friend advised me to do it. There are always some promocodes which let get bonuses on deposits. Odds are often high and only minuses I can tell about are required KYC verification and sometimes live betting is locked. In other ways Loot.bet is a really good place for betting
They're known already before they get in to the forum. And for other bettors that don't like the condition that they have, there's always an option to go for others but just as you said, they're a nice bookie to stay.

~snip~
Nice image design, is that Tuskar? I guess so, the code punch is related to his walrus punch.  Tongue

The conditions for this promo isn't that much and easy.
4037  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for methods to earn at least 1$ hourly on: December 14, 2020, 01:18:39 PM
What specific skill you have? I'm sure that you have something to offer that can make you earn more than that. Coaching? virtual assisting? being a researcher? Creating a Youtube channel, not instant and needs good content or being a content creator for others such as a scriptwriter.
I've tried almost all of the listed methods. Surveys really don't work for third world countries, as the target public is from the richest countries, because they have more purchasing power. I had a blog many years ago too, but it didn't have public, maybe advertisement is needed, what means investment is needed. A bit risky in my opinion.
And the freelancing I have tried is about my skill: brand, logo designer. But my style isn't the modern minimalist one. I'm more into old classic designs and shapes. It's hard to find tasks on this field, but I'm always open to this possibility.
In the long run, if you believe with your blog then don't feel regret investing on it because in reality it's one of the best passive incomes in the internet that you can enjoy once you've built it already.

Since you have the designing skills and it's more of an order basis, if you're too conscious with the competition through the forum's marketplace because we truly got a lot of good designers. Then, there's still some other freelance marketplace that you can go.

Like, fiverr although there's also a lot of designers there but give it a try. I've known people that just tried it out but they've made it because they have unique style as you.
4038  Economy / Economics / Re: World Banks have liability for debts liability and government on: December 14, 2020, 11:22:07 AM
If they borrow more money without paying first debt the money will be like toilet paper right?
You are comparing it with printing more money and those two are different. Interest rates would increase and that will make a country poorer if they can't pay out their debts. Banks that can borrow in the world bank are with the blessing of the government.

The only way If the government will bail out them right?  Will the governments will so that?
No bailing will happen. It's hard to see them that they'll bail out the debts that has gone through their cash flow. There's accounting and it would affect their budgeting if the government will just bail them but it's unlikely that they will.

And If the government dont do that then its very logical that all Commercial banks need to declare bankcrupcy....
No, they won't file bankruptcy unless they're totally gone zero. That's not enough reason for them to be considered as a bankrupted bank.

Now im thinking that fed talking about printing more money and lending to commercial banks
but the old debt huge ammount of debt is not served?
It's for the world bank to decide. It's where most of the countries are indebted to. There were countries that have old debts and still they're not bailing it.

and to be very honest If the governments all around the world will bail out banks the governments will broke 100%...
A government won't allow that to happen, a government collapsing themselves? no, it won't happen.

So the debtors who own debt are the Commercial banks now im thinking are they gona ask governments help?  Or they gona just declare the business closesure as banks?

Or they gona cover the debt with depositors money?

There's a certain process for paying debt in the world bank. They have due date/deadline for those companies or banks that has debt on them.
4039  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for methods to earn at least 1$ hourly on: December 13, 2020, 08:47:20 PM
Please, don't post obvious ideas which are being recycled on this forum and on google such as:

  • blogging (noboby is interested in blogs nowadays)
  • surveys (it only works in first world countries)
  • freelancing (as I said, there is already a lot of competition)
  • sell stuff (a lot of people doing this too and I don't have customers)
These ideas and methods are simply the ways that you can choose from and which niche you're too good with it. But you're already giving yourself a discouragement of not trying any of them.

In blogging, there's still a lot of people that loves to read and it's even easier today because articles can be done and blogs you write about a certain topic which is informative, you'll get a lot of readers from that and build audience if they see you're a good author. But this requires time and it's not an instant monetization for you.

In surveys, I think some websites are still working but they rarely give surveys anymore but if they have, it depends to the person being asked. It doesn't matter if you're from first, second or third world country. It's like a product and market research survey thing. But I can't remember the exact website for that but I'm sure it can be found through google.

In freelancing, yes, there's a lot of competition but that's life. It's the same as applying for a corporate job that you have competitors too that all of you are aiming to get hired. $1 is actually a very low rate for this source of income and many employers would go for it but they don't expect productive or at least professional result from working with someone with that rate.

In selling stuff, you have to look at how much the e-commerce industry has. I don't own an online store yet but I'm planning of getting into it someday. I just can't manage myself but I don't care if I don't have customers. It's a matter of quality service, customer rapport and quality product. Don't be discouraged as early as you're thinking without having a try.

But if none of those doesn't really work for you, how about lending? That doesn't work per hour but it's somehow profitable if you get good paying borrowers and they'll come back to you anytime as long you've built good relationship.

Here are the other ideas: Affiliate marketing - requires hard work.

What specific skill you have? I'm sure that you have something to offer that can make you earn more than that. Coaching? virtual assisting? being a researcher? Creating a Youtube channel, not instant and needs good content or being a content creator for others such as a scriptwriter.
4040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 13, 2020, 07:53:38 PM
In esports betting, I don't usually rely on the odds but it's better to have a good odds for the team that I'd like to bet. If there's an underdog team and I see the odds favoring them and I know that they are in condition winning the game against the opponent, it's like having a jackpot for me.

I think it's more important to know the sport and the teams you're betting on.
Certainly. You have the knowledge and idea who's favoring the match. But I think we're all like that, when we see a too high odds even though we're not sure if we'll bet on it, sometimes we play YOLO so odds doesn't matter during that situation.
