4021  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: November 28, 2019, 03:49:54 PM
As such there should not be a problem of deflation with Bitcoin, because the supply is increasing and not decreasing. Deflation can only happen if there is a decline in the total supply. That is theoretically possible, given the large number of lost coins (i.e coins that can't be spent, because no one is having the private key to access them). People are more careful with the private keys, but even now a lot of coins are getting unusable every month, either due to deaths (such as the case of Gerald Cotton) or due to carelessness.
I didnt think that halving affects the bitcoin nor market value, years ago as we can observe, the effect of halving makes the price of bitcoin increase, so when it happens, we can see that bitcoin can make ATH or atlease the price will goes up, we can possibly think that by next year it could be a good year in bitcoin.
I don't think we will hit new ATH but probably it could go closed to the latest ATH because halving usually make bitcoin's worth increase and will affect how the miners will sell their BTC at considering it become a lot rarer and hard to get.
But what I afraid is that if the reward is not worth it anymore some miners will just give up with the mining and therefore we will lose some hash power. Hopefully the price of bitcoin could keep up with the halving so that it still profitable.
4022  Economy / Economics / Re: The US & China Trade War is Nothing, Worry About Business and Bank Failures on: November 28, 2019, 03:19:12 PM
Very serious topic, trade war is nothing compared to what can happen in near future. The US debt to China is $1.138 trillion of October 2018. What if China decides to "take/collect" that money......I guess the real war is in sight. most probably nuclear. Americans will go for a war instead of giving up money.
Remember that these debt will be no more when there's a war. I mean, debt is debt but if a war started to clash what does this debt could act for? as you said, It will be better to go war instead of paying all the debt because it's just too immense and you need to remember how much effort the US spent to keep the countries with different ideology in check and now it's getting out of hand and I'm pretty sure in the future we will see unexpected move from each country.
4023  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: November 27, 2019, 11:15:26 PM
The only way that a poor country can become rich is to produce value, both monetary value and production value. Each country must be able to measure its population in order to work productively. The formula depends on each country, what is the strength of their country, which is the biggest commodity and the character of the people.
The problem with underdeveloped countries is that they just sell raw materials to developed countries for any cheap price. They don't manufacture their materials, they don't have their own technology and they don't export expensive commodities to strength their economies.
Only technological countries can be wealthy nowadays and offer life quality to their people, others will keep suffering with their poor economy and uncontrolled inflation levels, heavily intervened by the government.
I know that well only industrial country that could process their raw material into something even more valuable could grow into a rich country take example of south korea and china they could become developed country from a poor country in short period of time and that's because they are industrial country and the chinese's growth after so much investors coming there is immense but now the turn for vietnam after the trades war. The problem with underdeveloped country is that they are always lacking common sense to process their own material and the corruption aswell. they still think about their own wealth and not for the entire country. but the weak currency that these underdeveloping countries have is also a problem for their advancement of the infrastructure.
4024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How soon the blockchain industry can be adopted, is this within 2020? on: November 27, 2019, 10:28:54 PM
I think we really stuck in term of adoption because I can't see crypto getting adopted by big company nowaday, most of the time crypto only accepted by small company that need users but not big company, the backlash from the government after the proposal of libra could have serious affect too regarding this.
the big company dont want to take risk into accepting bitcoin and I still wonder why stablecoin is also lacking the adoption because these stablecoin basically just a digtalized cash and to see that no one bats an eyes is really confusing.
4025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China vowed to "slash" crypto exchanges, bitcoin prices plummeted. on: November 27, 2019, 09:56:39 PM
It's frustrating how the Chinese Government seem not to know what they even want but the annoying part is that these decisions they make tend to affect the Cryptocurrency market depending on if the news is positive or negative, their initial stance was hatred for Cryptocurrency, then they suddenly fell in love with it and even want to make their own coin, and then suddenly they want to ban all Cryptocurrency exchanges, I just don't see the logic in this move at all.
this movement makes sense if you know that they are only want to adopt the blockchain system and not the cryptocurrency. they've always been like this and people are forgetting the fact that cryptocurrency is different with blockchain while blockchain is just a system that is beneficial and crypto is its product.
4026  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: November 27, 2019, 02:34:13 AM
Its true it seems that millennials is less educated and probably the worst generation where even in social media their post are annoying they're main concern in life is sex, drugs and alcohol. They spend more time in online games, burning their money doing meth & alcohol and social media than spending more time in productive skill development or investing their futures into something like crypto.
You just saw someone that doesn't represent the whole generation, yes there are some millennials that even their capability are just doing something stupid like that but there are some that really contributes to the society as the silly and foolish one usually stands out the most. You just don't need to be so pessimistic about this generation, if you don't believe just see the amount of startups that are growing everyday that definitely shows this generation is doing something and not just wasting their time as you said.
4027  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: November 26, 2019, 10:04:12 PM
Less education about bitcoin make millennial do not know about how to get source income from bitcoin, millennial look waste their time by playing mobile legend and active for using social media, maybe if any one want to promote bitcoin I think millennial interested with bitcoin and try to learn how to get passive income with bitcoin and adopt bitcoin for legal payment.
It is to be expected that some people are not really into technology and to not know cryptocurrencies or some sort is totally human and bitcoin was initially created for a currency anyway and not source of income it's the people that make it happen.
Also some people are ignorant enough to think that cryptocurrency is a scam because their government says so and some of the millenials even believe that even bbut tbh there's no such thing as passive income with bitcoin if you just trade or holding it.
4028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 ERC20 ICOs that Actually Were Successful on: November 26, 2019, 03:38:41 PM
The list is dominated by the stablecoins even if it qualifies to be taken into account you must include USDT aswell but in my opinion including stablecoin as top 10 ERC20 Succesfull ICO is really wrong I mean there's no ICO for all these stablecoin to begin with they just come up with the reserve fund and offering people their stablecoin and not even opening initial coin offering and some names are even I don't familiar with so maybe there's another factor that makes you decide to put those list of coin you consider most succesfull.
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current news in China is just a fud or something more? on: November 25, 2019, 10:37:40 PM
I saw many posts regarding the recent China news or police raid fact. Nothing is real in that case? What's the thing Chinese Gov is going to do in next? Sometime, it seems to me that the Gov is with blockchain, sometimes, they aren't. Feeling confused.

I have heard about China raiding binance office, and the sudden turn out of events such as banning so on and so forth. This got me surprised since few weeks ago China was all good towards crypto, and blockchain. And in addition binance was building up an office in China. As of today it is still a news and no one still confirms about it. Let us just hope that these are just misconceptions, and nothing more than a gossip.
first, China never friendly with crypto to being with, they are just trying to implement blockchain and you must remember or know that Crypto is a product of blockchain and is not in favor of China meanwhile the blockchain system is what china deem as revolutionary.
second, China is trying to create their own crypto ofcourse to beat down other crypto to pulp they could just do this to secure the market share for their own crypto. There's no such thing as china love crypto, people are just too optimistic about this.
4030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How exchanges treat the stolen Money? on: November 25, 2019, 01:01:01 PM
I really guess that the government will just lock up the account that have suspicious transaction for some period of time while also investigating and this happen only if you have solid proof or a government tells them that they found illegal money got into the exchange's wallet. Otherwise they will just dont care but fortunately nowadays they require KYC to prevent AML aswell as preventing any stolen money from being cashed out from their exchange and that ofcourse require cooperation from both sides fastly otherwise it will just gone.
4031  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 25, 2019, 11:40:15 AM
One of the good things of bitcoin is its power as a decentralized storage of value and asset which are mostly needed by countries that are having problems and crisis with their own currency and country. The riot in Hongkong serves as a threat in hongkong nationals in losing their country as well as to the government they have. In relation to this, they are threatened with the possibility to lose their freedom and assets, and maybe this is the reason why they choose to put their assets in bitcoin because of its potential in the future.
I heard from some news that the hongkong riot just only increase the use of bitcoin to store their wealth a little. Quite the opposite, people there are trying to move their assets to a country with good stability and if possible to gain a permanent residence aswell since they probably worry that their assets will be in danger.
Quite different to country with fragile economy that uses bitcoin to seek profit instead of utlising its function of stroing wealth which quite honestly too volatile.
4032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good trading volume doesn't mean a token is good on: November 24, 2019, 11:35:47 PM
I also think that Good trading volume doesn't mean a good token. Yes, a lot of words can be explained, but I find it hard to say. Can you explain it more clearly?
You know a good trading volume can be build up by hyping the coin and that was the case for so many project in the past. the token may be just another shit token or even just a clone of some already existing token with basically the same functionality but if there's some kind factor that could make people hyped about the project for example using popular people's name to their advisor and team of developers then it could gather the attention of the crowd. But then afterward people realize that the coin is basically a shit coin in disguise and it will lost the volume and popularity afterwards.
4033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 24, 2019, 10:45:32 PM
You know people will get tired if they are getting shoved with all these IEO down their throat every week. All these platform taking a break is the best decision as of now anyway and considering that the current market is bearish if you start an IEO right now the answer will be always obvious that the project will always fail in the listing on exchange and take massive dump at the first round. It's just they are waiting for the right time in my opinion to avoid any losses because if there's a project that become a big failure they will take the blame.
4034  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 24, 2019, 10:16:05 PM
Don’t pay taxes: govt love taxes! It make them super super wealthy and make you super super poor, govt don’t care if you starve to dead tomorrow, that’s your own fault to be basement dweller, govt rather spam their tweeter with non sense China FUD.
If your in some countries where you are forced to pay tax, this just isn't possible mate - unfortunately, not everyone has the option to live in a 3rd world country where they have no infrastructure and can just avoid tax.

Finally, don’t get a job, because jobless is not a fake news, govt keep spreading fake hope that we have 0.000001% jobless rate, while many under employed staff wandering around the streets.
Alright, this is the point where I am certain you are trolling. Unemployment rates are real.
Bruh, even in 3rd world country the law enforcement to the people who avoid to pay taxes could be even worse. I've heard that lives are valueless in a 3rd world country and what the government care is just gathering the tax as much as they can and then just misuses all the tax income for stupid things. The percentage that goes for the taxes also usually just as high as 1st world country but have no infrastructure or even free healthcare whatsoever. It's literally a hellpit where you will be enslaved by the government to work and give them percentage of your earning and literally gets nothing in return while 1st world countries usually have nice infrastructure and many more.
4035  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: November 24, 2019, 02:40:55 PM
Blockchain technology will make banks control their money and customers thoroughly, helping avoid losses.  The application of blockchain to banking services also increases the speed of money transfer, reduces costs and helps ensure customers' money is safe.
It's always the efficiency that matters most when it comes to business and there is also the transparency to help review the overall transaction because of the fact that blockchain always write down all the transaction since it was created until the latest block. I could definitely understand that for Bank instead of waging a war against it they adopt it. Although all these thing are still experimental in my eyes and doesn't guarantee that it will bring that real value to the Bank but we will definitely see in the future.
4036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask hacked ? on: November 23, 2019, 11:45:32 PM
maybe you accidentally press send button when there's a request demanding for BTC maybe in the past you want to buy something with BTC? It makes zero sense to think that you just conscious of a transaction that you haven't done sending money to someone else after 22 days. Or if possible maybe there's someone close to you that knows or have access to your wallet?

Metamask is 99.9% unhackable unless it is your computer that has been compromised. You will need to be careful and do some investigation of your own. That transaction might be from you if you check well
Not true. You can get a malware that replace the address everytime you copied everything and then you can accidentally losing your cryptos or even keylog that record all your seeds.

4037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs/IEOS/STOs generating funding in 2019? on: November 23, 2019, 04:12:44 PM
Are token sales pulling investment still, or is it dead?

Sources to facts and stats to support opinions would be great
According to some shared statistics if its proven truthful. some ICO's are still able to raised some money, But its just a small amount comparing before, But in IEO's those projects that listed on a well known exchange like Binance, Kucoin was able to raised much funds and sold its tokens in seconds, for me its quite impressive achievement so far. But in STO i don't think its still alive or its just not publicized form of fundraising.
The funding clearly moved to IEO it's a clear pattern people are getting tired of dealing with someone they dont even know and letting their money in the hand of someone who might turns out as such irresponsible developer anymore. Every IEO will absolutely getting listed and that make people rest easy not worrying about if the project listed to an unknown exchanges instead. the ICO that could still hold up until now is probably the best out there because getting funding from ICO is becoming a lot harder and harder because people are more cautious.
4038  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 22, 2019, 04:13:57 PM
For me to drop the price of bitcoin to 5$ or the reason for it to happen. It is the government, it can enforce it and force people to sell bitcoins to the government or otherwise confiscate it. This is the way i see bitcoin break down and its price fall. But I think this is unlikely to happen because the government is now accepting bitcoin, as well as big companies.
I mean if government forcing people to sell their bitcoin to the government isn't that adding the demands and could start the rumour that bitcoin and cryptos is starting to be accepted just because the government wanted to buy it? doesn't make sense at all. You need to remember that governments aren't officialy accepting bitcoin they always observing and didnt intervene until now but I know if they want to accept crypto they will create their own just like what china proposed because government is all about taking control over everything.
4039  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Crisis Will Come on: November 22, 2019, 08:46:14 AM

I have happen many times in the past so it will happen once again. This time there is some an exit point which we own this time such as Bitcoin. During the past crisis, people suffer including the ones who has the money to survive. So far they all knew its going to come and right now they might prevent through  cryptocurrencies. Today we are already seeing the inclusion of crypto in the Foreign exchange market.
Well lets be real here, if there comes the financial crisis it will make all the financials sector suffer and that includes cryptocurrencies. People at that time will need money or basic needs to survive and selling crypto if they have is one of the option because many people actually consider cryptocurrencies as digital property and not currency. People at financial crisis always consider to sell things that they consider not much of a help because that's all what they can do.
4040  Economy / Economics / Re: Can online platforms like Youtube and Facebook really be decentralized? on: November 21, 2019, 11:50:11 PM
I believe it can be decentralized but the real answer is, is it effective? there are so many projects out there trying to decentralize literally everything and ended up failing because no one uses thier product. Youtube can be decentralized, but then there'll be some technical problem occur if it's p2p and a decentralized social media is already existed I believe but not that popular.
Decentralized is good indeed but not that needed in some aspect of our life, it's just like how if things become too centralized it will be bad. Youtube and facebook are alrady having a good time with their centralized nature so I guess there's no point of switching over to decentralization, they will also have a hard time to manage everything including ads if that to happen.
