1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: Today at 01:54:35 PM
Ronaldo could score 3 goals (hattrick) if he wants to execute the penalty kick. But Ronaldo gives the chance to score to Mane. Even if Ronaldo has a big ambition, I can appreciate how Ronaldo treats his teammate. He isn't egoistic to score goals in any chance, he wants to share with others.
He shown his team working in another situation when he already passed through the goalkeeper but did not shot, and decided to send the ball back to his team mate. Even it was not a goal because he was offside, it shows that Ronaldo at least in this match, did not only think about scoring goals.
I was also aware at that time, but Ronaldo was on a very difficult angle as he was almost past the line. It was impossible for him to shoot from that angle, so he decided to back pass the ball to his friend who was standing behind him. I strongly believe if would be converted into the goal if ronaldo was the one who shoting it.  It was so bad when his teammate was unable to execute a proper pass to score another goal for Al Nassr. Ronaldo also looked different when he was playing for al Nassr, i was seeing how ronaldo decides to pass the ball to his teammates instead of doing it by himself. He is not so stubborn like when he played for real madrid. It appears that he is becoming less ambitious in terms of scoring as many goals as he once did while competing in European competition and it's indirectly the way ronaldo played the ball. He cares more with his teammate now. He is now willing to be the only one who scored for the club. I really appreciate it.

This will help Ronaldo to build up better relationship with his team mates and aim at a stronger squad to compete for more titles next season. With his ambition, titles are very important and so are goals.
True, ronaldo has made many opportunities for his teammate. The bad thing is still remain the same, his teammates are always often having very bad positioning. This makes ronaldo's pass can be intercept by khaleej's player.
It will be different if al nassr has a very good striker play for the club.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: Today at 01:42:56 PM
Marseille vs Atalanta and Roma vs Leverkusen tonight. I have a feeling that Roma might beat Leverkusen tonight, I know the latter are unbeaten this season but they have had a lot of fortune with multiple very late goals. I just think it’s been such a long season for them and the big emotion of winning the Bundesliga. I think Roma will get to the final.

The other semi final I am less sure about, Atalanta did well to get past Liverpool but I am not convinced by them. I’m leaning towards Marseille taking a slender lead into the 2nd leg.

For the first leg I see a chance for Roma honestly. They have really great home statistics this season. This can help them not be an easy game for Leverkusen. My humble opinion is that double chance on Roma for this game is quite reasonable. Leverkusen's winning streak might be ended by Roma tonight maybe who knows...  Smiley  But as for winning the whole matchup I'm with Xabi Alonso as I said before.

Atalanta were indeed decent previously. But Liverpool missed a lot in the first leg too and couldn't come back from that big score. Still it looks like we think the opposite in this one too as I expect Atalanta to advance to the final by a slight gap.  Grin

My betting prefs for the first legs:

• Roma or draw: 1.70
• BTTS for the other one: 1.74

The same thing can happen to the leverkusen although it's still unbeatable this time. Who knows if roma can repeat the same thing that happens to the liverpool vs atalanta. Roma is an underrated team this time. It's hard to imagine leverkusen to get draw or lose against roma without even scoring.
I'd liked to take BTTS for this game. This is a sense choice for me considering they are all the same strong. Lukaku is gonna play soon along with dybala. I remember the day when roma beats leverkusen.

The upcoming game is a rematch from roma vs leverkusen.

Manchester United will only consider offers worth £70m or more for forward Marcus Rashford during the summer transfer window, a report has revealed.
https://www.90min.com/man-utd-set-marcus-rashford-price-tag

It's surprising to me that Rashford's price has dropped so dramatically since last season after his inconsistent performance this seasonw with manchester united. His poor performance was most likely the primary reason Manchester United priced him so low and i was expecting his price would be around 90 or 100 millions. As you can see, Rashford's price has always been relatively stable at around 80 million based on the transfrmarkt but this is not a real price from the club, it's a speculation price.

Things are changing now, and his price is starting to fall. That is why United decided to cash in on him during the summer transfer window. I hope PSG will reconsider him as Mbappe's replacement. I hope that PSG will not miss an opportunity to recruit him although some media said PSG has cooled its interest to recruit him. Who knows if enrique's team will be doing U turn for him.

Time for rashford to continue his career in another club. PSG sounds good for him.

I've been aware if Maatsen was a good LB and why Chelsea was kicking him out of the club and it's still questioning me why the blues did stupid thing. Maatsen has had great success in dortmund and has advanced to the semi-finals with it, it was a big achievement since maatsen gets trust from terzic rather than garbage pochettino. This demonstrates Maatsen's desire to stay in Dortmund rather than continue his contract with Chelsea as romano's tweet has explained that if maatsen and his dad are not in the process to leave from chelsea and join in dortmund.
This is really a bad news for Chelsea, David Silva will leave Chelsea, Chelsea only have James, Chilwell, Colwill and Gusto, while the rest players are garbage and had no contribution. Chelsea need few more players as a substitute, who knows those four players might injured in the next season. Just like present, all of them are injured.
James and Chilwell are frequently injured. They are injury prone. I still have doubts about Gusto's performance. Colwill was not performing well as a left back. His primary position is centre back. I dislike him when he is forced by Pochettino to play left back. I saw maatsen as a potential asset to play as left back.

Chelsea was not even giving him regular playing time in the main squad. He has found a better place than Chelsea, which is why his father advised him to say goodbye to Chelsea.

Chelsea need to convince Maatsen to back to them.
Only if the blues can guarantee him to have a spot as a starting line up in the club. It's hilarious when pochettino decided to pick cucurela over him.

It sounds impossible to convince him to stay. Maatsen has found terzic which was able seeing the potential from the young player like him.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: May 01, 2024, 10:25:16 AM
Honestly I'm not expecting Roma to lose tomorrow. Most people would favour Leverkusen but I still think Roma won't lose home in the 1st leg. De Rossi's arrival has started to change things for Roma. They are stronger and especially in home matches I have really liked their performance so far. Even against Xabi Alonso's team I think De Rossi won't be losing already.

But for the second leg I wouldn't have the same opinion. I already favour Leverkusen to advance to the final. But I just expect a tough challenge before that.  Grin

It's a tough game to predict as I am not sure what to expect from Roma. Leverkusen will play their high speed football and try to score at all cost. That's just how they work and they are not the kind of team that would try to play down the clock and take a draw. Roma, however, is probably going to adjust their game to whatever happens. If they score quite early in the game, I think they will try to slow down and destroy Leverkusen's game rather than focusing on their own game. If they could achieve a win with just a goal difference, they would definitely take it and play the typical Italian style in the second leg. Hopefully they don't score early as it's no fun to watch these games when Italian teams are parking the bus.
Parking the bus is a must for italian club. How good or bad the gameplay from the team doesn't even matter. The history is always writting the winner from the league. It doesn't really matter what gameplay to get the trophy as long as you get a trophy and you were a winner. There's no need to feel parking bus is shameful strategy to be used.
Think about how to win the competition. It will be shameful if your team is always playing football without even winning the trophy. The value from the big club was when it was winning a trophy.

Roma is gonna destroy leverkusen soon. Lukaku can play alone at upfront since he has very good physic to be one on one or even two on one.

Maatsen's father has given his son permission to stay in Dortmund even longer. I expect Dortmund to buy him out of Chelsea. Chelsea is the stupidest club this season. This club has wasted so many talented players by recruiting garbage young stars who are clueless in every game with non sense price. The club deserves to be blamed

I strongly agree with his final decision to stay in Dortmund rather than return to Chelsea. Dortmund promises a bright future for his career. He deserves a better place. Chelsea is a bad team right now.
It's just a mid-table team.

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: May 01, 2024, 09:23:58 AM
I think Man City is going to won their remaining matches to enable them lift the premier league title because in this stage of premier league any mistake by any of the two title race contender is going to affect them, However I think Man City have more advantage than Arsenal because looking at their remaining 4 matches I think the only club that will going to give Man City though time is only Wolves because in their last meeting is was 2-1 against Man City, but this time around I think Man City is going to won them.
Manchester City obviously has an advantage over Arsenal caused by city got three points while arsenal was bottling three points in the previous game. City has more unplayed matches than Arsenal and can still lead the competition if they win all of their remaining games and this is the main condition that shall have fulfilled by manchester city in order to win the competition. I remind you that City can have a two-point advantage over Arsenal if it wins all of its remaining games and this boost the performance from all of city's players. That being said, if everything is still going very well for Manchester City at this point. City only needs to win the remaining matches to claim the Premier League trophy and it's gonna happen very soon. City has two opportunities this season. The club can win two trophies. Pep will try to ensure that his club does not do bottle jobs in the remaining competitions by keep use the best line up in any of remaining matches.

There is no reason to be concerned about the city's current condition. The club is still doing quite well. Even if there are more injuries, the key players will continue to play in the starting lineup. City still has a good chance of getting three points in the remaining matches.
Arsenal fans must have watched all of Manchester City's matches because they are hoping that City will lose some points in order to reclaim first place. However, Arsenal can also miss three points.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Surge in Meme Coins on: April 30, 2024, 10:29:21 AM
its great for people that likes to snipes latest meme coin like the latest meme coin that is manekin its going $200 million market cap overnight.
thats already crazy on its own considering that this meme coin just come out of nowhere, if you observe from the wallet that interacting with swapping of the meme coin you will find out that some people flipping $700 into hundred thousand dollars overnight its crazy it remembers me of another meme coin thats trending in solana.
the fact that they could get that massive market cap with literally no fundamental is already ridiculous now added if they got listed in binance then they can easily reaches billions just like how book of meme and so on.
I guess meme coin trend will just never end, its always there in every bullrun, wonder how many people become millionaire from investing in meme coin this year.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there strategy to make profit daily future trade on: April 30, 2024, 08:21:46 AM
trading isn't a job with consistent earning, sometime you lose sometime you make profit so considering making daily profit on trade on its own is already giving you sort of warped knowledge about what trading it, i mean you can definitely make daily profit if you okay with losing sometime but its definitely not gonna give you consistent daily profit through out entire years that will never cause you loss unless you're some kind of genius trader that could make some miraculous trades but most of the time most people also suffer loss frequently.
so basically never depends your profit from trading, its not an activity where it can be sustaining unless you have big capital and you profiting once already cover your entire year expenses then it might be sustaining for you.
you better off making good few trades that give you profit instead of forcing daily trading anyway there are so many thing that could mess up with your trade, rethink your decision.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do low fees matter most in choosing crypto platforms, or other factors? on: April 30, 2024, 07:44:46 AM
fee matters when it gets too unbearable, for example you want to trade perpetual using DEX, you definitely won't want to use ethereum for that since each trades gonna costs you an arm and leg.
that is exactly why the L2 exists, to give alternative but sometime the project that are good usually deploy token in the ethereum so we can't really choose what blockchain we gonna use for most of the time.
being a person that tries to find opportunity through various dapps and so on what you can do is that you must be a flexible person using whatever blockchain available by also judging whether it gonna benefits you or not.
for example claiming token in ethereum blockchain, if the token worth more than the fee itself maybe multiple folds then its gonna be fine, i will definitely try to claim that token, its only problematic if the fee far outweight the worth of the tokens.
i'm sure most of crypto users doesn't really care about what blockchain they use anyway as long as its fast and functional people are already happy.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did you think about the future of dogecoin? on: April 30, 2024, 07:13:12 AM
the future of doge coin will be the same exactly as it is now maybe if bitcoin pumps further doge will also climb but that is not guarantee that doge coin gonna go to the moon.
the thing with doge coin market cap already big it gives smaller space for a pump, because the market cap is huge enough, pumping the coin will require massive capital, for a doge coin of course anything can happen its a meme coin thats being shilled by elon consistently but i don't think that it will rise massively again like in the past, its already too big as of now, at least from my opinion.
the other thing is that with the emerges of new meme coin i expect the smaller whales and meme coin investor gonna stick with the new coin since they really like to speculate.
as of now doge coin isn't really good to speculate the price is rather stagnating from the perspective of some people that favour volatility.
even pepe is performing better than doge these days. at least thats from my analysis toward most of the major meme coin, it might not really great for investing with small capital anyway.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 29, 2024, 05:33:31 PM
Bernardo Silvas contract doesn't end until 2026 which is going to be the hardest thing for Barcelona. I mean if his contract was ending like İlkay then I would understand the logic because it would work better for Barcelona to just pay the player and that's it. But when we are talking about someone with already a contract then it means Barcelona will have to pay a transfer fee as well.
Barcelona must have trigger his release clause in order to buy him out from manchester city. Bernardo silva has sent some signals if he is very interesting to play in barcelona. The final decision totally depends on barcelona whether laporta will approve it. I strongly believe xavi sees silva as a potential player to be recruited by barcelona.
Yet again the financial problem is the reason why it's unlikely to happen. Barcelona must have sold some players first.

I do not think that transfer fee would make sense in this case, Barcelona is already poor and in big debt, which means that spending money on transfer fee doesn't make sense for them anyway, they need to get free agents and youth players from la masia to make sure that they stay afloat. Not only that, but I agree that Silva won't be a cheap player, so it will be a lot of money as well.
Barcelona's only option is to sell some of its players in order to cash in some money to lift the ban from recruiting the new player. This money can be used to recruit the new players. Some players such as Araujo and De Jong have received offers from major clubs, but Barcelona has yet to decide whether to sell those two players. The longer barcelona decide it, less amounts of money can be sached in by barcelona. I strongly believe that Barcelona will make another stupid mistake, such as rejecting a large offer for Ansu Fati, which is now a flop.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 29, 2024, 05:27:30 PM

Have you guys noticed that if many clubs have voted to introduce a spending cap in the EPL? Will this have a negative effect on the EPL? In my opinion, a spending cap is critical to ensuring that everything is fair since the mid and bottom tier clubs have lower income compared to the top clubs in EPL. Im thinking there must be a spending cap. This prevents the major clubs from spending a large sum of money to own the league like what happens this time.

I believe the majority of midtable and bottom-tier clubs have fully agreed for the EPL to implement the spending cap.

Quote
Premier League clubs have voted to introduce a cap on how much a team can spend on wages, transfers & agent fees
Man Utd, Man City & Aston Villa voted against the measures
Chelsea abstained from the vote
https://www.90min.com/premier-league-clubs-vote-to-introduce-spending-cap

As the repor above said if some big clubs have been deciding to vote against it. Manchester city, manchester united and aston villa voted against it.

There is also interesting fact

Quote
United co-owners INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have opposed the plans because they believed they would hand English sides a disadvantage compared to other top teams across Europe.

However, the Glazer family, who still own shares in United, are believed to be in favour of a spending cap.
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/sport/football/article/premier-league-clubs-to-decide-on-fixed-spending-cap-dbrqpnf9h

That's very well explained that if there is a possibility for the internal problem to happn in manchester united. We may be seeing some drama about this spending cap rules in the future.

We are still a day away from the semi final of UCL but the psy war between tuchel and ancellotti has begun. What do you guys think about this?

Which players between gnabry and vini will have greater chance to scores in the first leg of semi final? Ancellotti and tuchel have demonstrated how confidence they are with their teams to winning the first leg of semi final.

Ancellotti has ever lost against tuchel. Nothing surprises me if bayern can deliver a surprise to us. The upcoming game is the best to watch.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 29, 2024, 05:05:59 PM
What Ligue One has as a trouble is that they do not have a Bayer Leverkusen at the moment, they had one a few years ago with Lille who win it over PSG, but no team like that anymore. PSG doesn't end up winning every game, only 70 points in 31 games, which is 2.25 average points per game, and that is not good at all, any team that does better than that would be able to win the league, well in that case I am sure that PSG would have played better too but at least a team would be competing with PSG.
Wrong, ligue one doesn't have xabi alonso. Leverkusen was nothng without xabi alonso. Leverkusen has been using almost the same squad like last season but it's kind different when xavi came to the club. He changed the gameplay of leverkusen being more structured than the previous season.
It likes a magic came from xabi alonso. Leverkusen was an ordinary club without xabi alonso. That stats is good enough consider enrique is still in the process to rebuild the team. Even xabi took almost to season to bring leverkusen win the trophy.
Enrique took less than a season to rebuild the club.

But looking at the league, every team is playing with a terrible under 2 points per game averages, even the second ranked team, so that is why PSG doesn't care about the league. Basically PSG has no other team competition, they are the only one that keeps winning their games.
The regulation has prevented big investors to come. This is pretty much the same like when bayern munich owned the league for more than 1 decade. That's crazy but this is the reality.
I often think about when ligue one to have other major investors come to buy the mid table club on ligue one. The winner for the next season will still remain the same. That's true if this league less of competitive.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to $40K - $30K range before a bigger rally? on: April 29, 2024, 04:14:28 AM
We saw a new ATH before halving, then price began to dip, and the OP created this thread asking about price speculations before the halving, whether, it'll dip between $30k to $40k, anyways halving has happened and price is still hovering around $60k to $65k, it's approximately $63k now. I think that within this range that price is now will be it's correction before it'll starts to be bullish, because it has been around this range for quite a long time without any further significantly dip. But this is the crypto space, anything can happen and we can see a significant dump or pump on the short term.
i'm have quite differing opinion with this the price of bitcoin at around $60k is already at the bottom for this bullrun, because we already retesting all the support zone around $60k and its still going strong with the current price despite just moving around this price point but we are probably already in accumulation zone, the next bullrun might not even need a slight correction to occur before continuing the bullrun all the way to the top $100k.
just see in probablly a month the price will be retesting the $70k resistance and noce we breakthrough then we gonna see biggest bullish ever according to the previous past historical data of bitcoin it usually whats gonna be happening.
for those that are in doubt whether the price of bitcoin gonna be dumping right now probably need to look at the chart again and see that we are just on our way on the biggest bullrun ever.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: April 29, 2024, 03:32:08 AM
First of all, people who understand Crypto market and have knowledge about it, won't expect to cross their altcoins more than 100x something. 100x altcoins are shitcoins or could be memecoin. And that could be luck game or gambling, which is another topic. But mainly we should focus good altcoins rather than shitcoin and supply won't matter you are choosing good altcoins. You should remember that, the project is only matter. Supply doesn't impect that much except in token price
agreed, 100x mostly just coming from shitcoin or meme coin where their market cap went from micro market cap to at least small or medium market cap making their coin rise so much but such coin also hard to encounter, though its quite frequent now that we are in for the bullrun for example the latest meme coin that hits in solana like maneki.
most of the coin that are invested by big venture like binance labs, coinbase and even OKX are all starting out at their deserving market cap at the very beginning and usually the rise is just about 2x - 3x its definitely nowhere near the 100x that OP is looking for but from my perspective that return is already good enough if compared with any staking programs out there with unexpectedly low APY for annual return.
these investment.
so in conclusion looking for 100x you can only do that by being a degen investing in whatever shitcoin there is.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has been stuck around $3200 for quite some time on: April 29, 2024, 03:19:38 AM
There is no news yet about Ethereum ETF in Hong Kong but with most of the rumors that I've read, many seem to be negative with it and they're not going to approve any of it anytime soon. They have delayed it for some reasons but it seems that it's not going to be approved then.
agreed with this future of ethereum's ETF seems grim, so many news are actually fudding it right now, there has been speculation that there will be no ETF approval whatsoever due to the fact that ethereum was having an ICO back then and it make it security which holding the approval of its ETF but i don't know whether that news on its own hold truth or not.
but regardless anyway with the presences of restaking protocol such as swell, and so on which locks billions as of now i'm kinda satisfied with the growth of ethereum already and i'm pretty sure its gonna last for long with this rate.
the growth despite just sometime stagnating isn't like some other coin out there that suddenly pumps so high then dumps fast, ethereum growth is rather steady but sure.
it was reaching $4000 back then i'm pretty sure it could go back at that point again in a matter of time.
anyway, lets see in may where many L2s are launching their mainnet its probably could help make price of ethereum pumps.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has been stuck around $3200 for quite some time on: April 28, 2024, 09:30:55 AM
Based on what I staked last time it hits the target of my investment and the value begun to gain profit. The projection mets the nearest possible price.
However, the risk is still there as crypto faces the halving issues which most traders were afraid of. But the results went out to be positive in the first place.
why the halving is an issue though I think most of investors and traders are excited even go as far as celebrating it like they are celebrating new year, the current correction because people dumping on the news and thats on its own is completely fine from my perspective, even previous halving was done exactly the same way.
i'm instead more bullish about the market since halving has already happened then there's only one way that is to go up even further than the current all time high.
ethereum on the other hand is still waiting for the news of its ETF approval, i'm not really optimistic whether it gonna gets approved or not but at least it could increase the bullish sentiment of the market as of now despite the news kept being delayed over and over.
there even various fuds that said that ETH is not gonna get approval for its ETF but we all know same exact pattern of fud happened to bitcoin back then.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you restaking wBTC right now? on: April 28, 2024, 08:45:55 AM
This seems an interesting offer. If you would have elaborated more about the utilisation of wBTC then it would have been more interesting but we can have a look at this staking system.  Actually due to the high price off BTc  staking it it a little difficult for most of the users. So an alternative like this can be really helpful for people who are interested into BTC staking.

The only point that needs to be elaborated is the use case and utilisation of the wBTC. Then automatically the projects like Bounce bits which are related to WBTC will be successful once this staking system will be successful.
WBTC literally just BTC but wrapped as an ERC20 token so that its spendable through smart contract use in a blockchain that has smart contract capability and the value is pegged to real bitcoin held in reserve since usually WBTC issued by the total BTC held in reserve so its essentially just tokenized BTC in other blockchain, usually what interesting is not the WBTC itself but the restaking protocol that allows us to stake our BTC in various platform all in the same time, so basically we just reused the staked BTC in other platform through issuance of LSTs.
what make the yield seem attractive for people is probably the TGE of the native tokens introduced by the restaking platform or the layer 2 that usually getting distributed through airdrop to any stakers out there.
so its just that honestly.
