check out: https://panteracapital.com/research/#investor-letterscheck out BITCOIN LETTER, AUGUST 2014 :: BITCOIN VS. GOLD | WHY BITCOIN FELL SEPTEMBER 8TH, 2014 take a close look on page 10. them saying bitcoin could reach 4 mio check out: http://bitjuice.com/wedbush-securities-luria-a-bitcoin-could-be-worth-$1million-in-future now pantera (= Fortress Investment Group and Ribbit Capital) and wedbush are no idiots. it seems completely out of reach right now, but it is NOT impossible. personally i think the more interesting question will be, how many of my bitcoins are still in my stash when it reaches that level. let´s hope still more than 100. what would i do with 100 mio (in current purchasing power) ? move to switzerland carribbean new zealand buy a yacht and cruise the seven seas. buy decent houses for every family member. the rest goes to charity.

Bitcoin wont survive because you need FIAT to buy bitcoin.
THats why price is now in a permanent down swing, its too reliant on fiat and the existing banks.
Without fiat, its not possible to have bitcoin because u need to buy it from something.
Now, people are invensting in new decentralized currecies without FIAT, , eg. Ethereum, probably it will take the place of bitcoin.
That's been problem with bitcoin and why it cannot replace the banks.
oh. and what did the ether guys want for their ether ? bitcoin. thirtythousand shiny bitcoin. edit: imho it is possible that the stability of the bitcoin network will lead investors to the conclusion it could serve as a safe haven.

Probably the dumbest shit I've read in a long time. you didn´t get it ? you must turn the music on and read it again...

Just predict things often and 1 day you will be right. i don´t predict often. i admit, a 4 day prediction isn´t that exiting.

I still don't really feel like we've had blood in the streets.
No one posted a suicide hotline on r/bitcoin yet
In other words, you are still holding out concerning when you are going to buy back in. You may want to be safe and buy back part, so that you are NOT gambling all of your stash.. but I have my doubts if prices are going lower than they did yesterday, any time in the near future.... though anything seems possible in bitcoinlandia. My income is entirely in btc. I did sell 60 this month at $380 but technically i'm buying in on a daily basis, to the tune of around $500-600 I have $20k that I haven't bought back in with yet. I'm actually more comfortable with the amount I have in btc right now (around 40 currently) so I can only assume I was overinvested, as I was far too emotional about it. I'll keep "buying back in" via my income in btc, but I think I'll put the $20k into a nice mutual fund or ETFhm... pls read this: http://nakamotoinstitute.org/mempool/everyones-a-scammer/don´t get scammed out of your btc...

call the police....wait....mail to support first Haha, nice one. Others already said all the important parts, I'll just summarize it one more time: The procedure on Bitstamp appears to be: 1) user withdrawal request, leading to: 2) email confirmation, leading to: 3) clearing of withdrawal. if withdrawn amount is "large", it might require manual clearing by Bitstamp employee, which can take a few hours, if amount is small, clearing appears to be automatic. followed by: 4) transaction going out, once enough withdrawals are collected (probably done so Bitstamp doesn't have to pay fees for each tiny transaction they send out) By the looks of it, for some reason, the step between 1) and 2) got interrupted. Write to support (from within your account, i.e. when you're logged in), they should fix it in less than a day, unless there's some other problem (like, your account identification wasn't done properly). my impression is that email confirmation has to be done from the same device that is used to visit bitstamps website. That would make a lot of sense as a (slightly annoying, but not completely unreasonable) safe guard against someone else "confirming" a withdrawal. so it is a feature, not a bug....

Lol, that is why they called the movie "the RISE & RISE..."

And they still keep dumping. Crazy. Last year breaking 400 would result in breaking 450 3 minutes later. Now just dumps. Nothing but dumps. This whole market is 1 big dump. Imagine letting your coins get worth more. We must do everything to prevent that.
That's short leverage for you. Once the longs get momentum and it becomes obvious the low is in then people will stop dumping and start buying. must be hard to break a 10 month habit.

we will pass 400 level on oct 14th
lol, it turned past midnight here and 10 min. later it came true.

interesting insights, thanks for the link Greed is Bitcoins killer app. Incentivising early adoption and evangelizing by early adopters bootstraps it and provides the necessary marketing. yep, and this forum is one of the marketing centers. the rumor is out that one doubles up for every 1000 bullish posts...
