4021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: January 17, 2022, 09:37:33 AM
hello everyone i want to ask that investing in new projects has worth or not because to many scams projects now a days and i am afraid of losing money.

i wanna invest in octafarm.fi and this project looks really amazing and unique and the team looks professional what you guys think about this i need suggestions may be you guys know better than me.
Whitepaper: https://octafarm.fi/whitepaper.pdf
Website: https://octafarm.fi/

What do you see in this project that will look promising, HIGHEST AUTO COMPOUNDING POOLS UP TO 7,000%, Annual Yield is this realistic and sustainable although there is a certik certification there's no guaranty that what they promised will materialize, you mentioned the team looks professional I don't see any profile on the home page, the team is anonymous how did they become professional.
but that's your money if you think it will yield you profit, but only invest what you can afford to lose.
4022  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckybird.io Scam, bot infested, unfair games, payout delayed for over 2 months. on: January 16, 2022, 11:52:30 PM
They will pay out your first withdraw, but will deny all others in hopes of luring more cash from you.
$25 doesn't look like a lot for any casino to ruin their reputation and it's almost the same from your previous withdrawal. How much did you actually deposit?

You should probably stay away from casinos with "lucky" in their name. There was another one with a different case and it's still unresolved.

Two casinos with lucky on their domain name there's a possibility that they are sister company and they are ruining the word lucky in gambling, names don't attract me in casinos I prefer going with good user's experience and feedback.
OP should bring this in the scam section to warn others there is nothing to refer to on this forum because they do not have an official announcement here but it should be posted for future reference.
4023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do u think about gambling? on: January 15, 2022, 03:38:07 AM
I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this forum.I know we have different insight about gambling, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

So the question is(What do you think about gambling? Is it a fun ? Or a threat.

It's fun if you gamble what you can afford to lose and you get away on it fully refreshed ready to be in the reality of life again, but if you can get the games away and you are concerned about your losses and you have the urge to get it back the next time, then you are in a threat of becoming a compulsive gambler and this is where gambling becoming dangerous to you and you have to analyze yourself to save yourself.
4024  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 PlataØCrypto.io 🚀 - 1st Play to Earn x Provably Fair Crypto-Casino on: January 14, 2022, 09:45:50 PM
I thought I will see a stunning uniquely design casino because of what you posted and the description of your casino, it's very premature it's still in its soon to be launched stage, so when is the exact date of the launching and why post this early I think it's against community rules because it's not yet a casino it's just a webpage.
4025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 14, 2022, 03:14:31 PM

That eye injury is due to the car crash, so it doesn't count, and that was not serious compared to his situation before and he proved that he can still win a fight. Ugas Losses are mostly a split decision, so he is really a great fighter and who knows if he can give a good fight on Spence and make an upset again.

We cannot based on his past, I'm sure Ugas is a hard-working guy, and now that he is a champion also, his confidence will be high and he'll try to beat whoever will be in front of him.
I'm one of the guys who admire Ugas, he always comes to fight but when it comes to who he fought he only have an aging Pacquiao on his resume compared to Spence who has fought the best and the toughest, I like Ugas because of his sportsmanship, but there's no stopping Spence road to fighting Crawford, only Crawford can challenge Spence dominance in the ring.
4026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 14, 2022, 02:28:07 PM
In this thread I share my opinion. I know 2 types of gambling. Sports and casino. I have both types experience. At first I started to play casino like roulette, dice, ludu. Roulette was my favourite casino table. One day I won 7k usd on roulette table. But I couldn't retain it. I lost all the usd in 10 minutes and day by day my lossing amount increased. Sometimes casino table was so tough. Whatever I bet all lost. No sequence maintained. If I won a day, I would loss 5 days at a stretch. It seemed all was fixed. I shifted to sports betting. I started to follow biggest football league like English premier League, la Liga, french Liga etc. Researched the teams statistics and placed bet. Gradually I covering my losses. What's your experience?

I enjoy casino games more because you have no analysis and you just dig what you feel and let chance be your guide, compared to sports betting you need to study players and teams and buy paid signals, you are not lucky all the time in sports betting, it needs time to develop and to get acquainted with teams and players, maybe one day I will dig deep in sports betting when I become serious to make money on sports betting, although it still depends on luck.
4027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about MuskyDoge? on: January 14, 2022, 02:17:58 PM
It rewards in Dogecoin which is pretty cool. MuskyDoge.net they donate to mental health charities. Their Swap is looking pretty clean. Most of the action is in telegram. T.me/MuskyDogeArmy
Is this something new again ? If you really want to be different, why should there be a Doge name in this project, so that it makes me less interested in exploring it further, do you think that the embedding of a meme name will make other people interested ?

Obviously, they ride on the Doge popularity, this meme coin craze that happens last year are all because of Elon Musk's massive shilling of Dogecoin because of this so many meme coins has come out but not all these meme coins lived up to expectation, it just becomes a way for scammers gullible investors who believe that these meme coins will rule the market.
4028  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Santacoin.io didn't pay the bounty hunters! on: January 14, 2022, 12:09:11 PM
I'm still very active in the bounty campaign and I accept the fact that the developer is the one responsible if they want to reward or not their bounty hunters regardless of who is running the campaign, even if the bounty managers tried to escrow the tokens, the bounty manager can only make a disclaimer that he is not holding the tokens or is not escrowed and bounty hunters should be joined at his own risk, even without this disclaimer if you know how the altcoin bounty campaign works, you know that there's always a possibility that you will not get paid, I have been into a lot bounty projects where participants did not get paid.
You did the right thing in posting it here so investors will know that they are not honest, this token will eventually become worthless.
4029  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: January 14, 2022, 11:00:46 AM
There's an existing thread about casinos with license and KYC requirements it's for legit casinos I recommend Blackjack.fun being one of the legit casinos with the existing thread here, OP of that thread posted

I have checked Blackjack.fun too, but I couldn't find the required information. Yesterday I sent a message to their email support, and I'm still waiting for their reply.

I hope we can include Blackjack.fun on the list it's a good marketing and promotion

Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements
4030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 14, 2022, 08:48:44 AM
Each casino couldn't please all its users because, to be honest, no matter how reputable a certain casino is, there will still be unexpected lapses and drawbacks from it. Even casino sites with big names could be accused as scam sites especially for those who are having trouble with some issues like KYC, withdrawal, and deposit, or even those who didn't read and understand their term of services completely. These things are common but trusted casino sites are exerting efforts to fix issues that they're facing.

We can take the case of Duelbits player who cannot upload his documents so he thinks Duelbits don't let him upload so they want to keep his money which is very wrong, the accusation is settled, but from this, we see that anyone here can file an accusation but that doesn't mean that accusation is legit and it's the casino's fault, we have to check the admin of the casino's profile if he has good or bad feedback.
4031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 13, 2022, 11:56:17 PM
I don't know about you but for me I will only hold coins for long term if we see a unforgiving bear market ( better buying opportunity ), I believe bear market hold the key to long term holding, I can't buy coins at high price sorry ( present market is buying at high price) and decide to hold for years, I will only buy now to sell later ( short term ).. stupid idea? Let's hear your thoughts

That's the right thing to do if you can bear the bear market, we don't know the length of time that the market will bleed and so is the floor price of the coins/tokens that you are going to buy, there's a lot of challenge buying in the bear market but it's an opportunity that you don't want to miss, this is the time to double your diligence hear other opinions to come out with a better decision.
4032  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE SCAMMED FOR $80K on: January 13, 2022, 11:36:37 PM
Will you provide proof of the accusation, like a screenshot of the conversation, I think that would help to support your accusation. You can just blur the important information though, just to convince the community that you are telling the truth.

However, if the documents you submitted do not comply with the TOS of the gambling site, then you cannot blame them, you have no choice but to produce valid documents as required.

For reference for our Indian brothers who are playing on Stake, you should post the conversation, players should see this coming if they are active players and a betting huge amount of money, they should foresee that they can win a big amount and the casino will ask a KYC to prove that they are abiding with the casinos' rules so they should know and have valid documents that the casino will admit, I'm not blaming you but if they want a passport or other more valid documents you need to provide them, I don't think they single you out it applies to all our brothers from India in Stake.com case
4033  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where can I sell my crypto gambling account? on: January 13, 2022, 11:18:45 PM
Has anyone here expressed their interest on buying crypto gambling accounts from OP yet? With OP’s absence here in this thread and the fact that most of the casinos prohibit the transfer or selling of their players’ accounts can be a huge factor for anyone not to proceed with such transaction. In that regard, where the buyer would be the one who’s most likely suffer the consequences then I don’t think people will really buy such accounts.

The only way I can think of that he can sell that account is through a close friend or relative so in case there are issues on that account and they need verification or KYC the buyer can contact him and do verification for him again, but if the buyer comes from another country it will be hard and the buyer will suffer from this deal all casinos implement a no transfer of an account to other people.
4034  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scam me more then 2000 euros on: January 13, 2022, 03:09:18 PM
This is old new even though the accusation is still fresh, that's a huge amount and you won't likely recover that, because they are good at accusing their players of violation without giving the community any proof, and your accusation will not be the last one, they need to scam more people because they have massive advertising and a signature campaign here, they need to scam people to pay these promoters, I wonder how can these promoters can stomach receiving money from people whom they scammed.
4035  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Online Casino Bonus for Crypto Players at Casitsu Online Casino on: January 13, 2022, 02:52:31 PM
Checking the traffic rank on Alexa I don't think it's the fastest-growing new casino but if you want to grow your visitors why not concentrate and focus more here by getting a copper account and creating a stunning announcement just like all the other announcements thread here in Bitcointalk, all stable casinos are doing that, and if you want to go on an extra mile launch a signature campaign and your casino is good to go.
4036  Economy / Gambling / Re: Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements on: January 13, 2022, 12:15:40 PM
Glad we have something like this as a good reference instead of checking every casino if they have license and require KYC, almost all of them require KYC many at some point if they suspect that you are breaking the rules, this is also a good reference for a reputable casino, I hope you can check and include the casino I'm promoting right now, Blackjack.fun, I think it deserves to be on the list.
4037  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vikingbet.io launched this week. on: January 13, 2022, 07:13:53 AM
If you are the developer or the representative of this casino, you should check how the forum works to maximize your presence here, a mere posting of a link without explanation or anything about your casino will not encourage people to deposit and play here, make your announcement professional looking and stand out, make your thread competitive and you have a good chance to get more players here.
4038  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 13, 2022, 04:00:59 AM
Hello am new here and am interested in gambling but with the rate of scams casino I am finding it difficult to know the right site that don't scam players?

You don't know what is the best casinos to play because you are not reading reviews or you are a complete newbie and you need to post this to show you around and point to the best casinos in the industry, it's not really that hard to do all you have to do is to take your time, the community is not lacking with a good casino to play all you have to do is to read and check every announcement thread here and check the scam section as well.
4039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling addiction?! on: January 12, 2022, 03:36:00 PM
In real life, I have a good friend that is totally addicted to gambling/sportsbet and he has really no intentions to quit gambling even if he lose a lot of money each year (no he is not "rich").

Why some people get addicted and others no?
People get addicted with drugs because it's like math. If you smoke cigarette .... after a while your body will crave for nicotine.

Addicts always deny that they have too much of it, even they are over on what they consumed, that's also true in gambling, a gambling addict thinks that it's ok to spend 5 hours or more in gambling and spend a lot of money, their alibis are they are having fun and they only lose what they can afford to lose, which is a big lie if you check their activity and money they eventually lose, they will fight anything that will stop from having to spend enough time in the casino they are playing, only a professional intervention can stop them.
4040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling for the rich who can afford to lose ? on: January 12, 2022, 03:06:47 PM
Many people come in gambling in order to win in a short time and change their faith. They are the ones who can't afford to lose. If these people lost in gambling, that would have a seriously bad effect on their lives.

On the other hand, there are people who have a lot of money in hand and losing is not a big deal for them. If they win in gambling, they enjoy and if they lose, nothing is lost for them as they have a lot of money in bank balance. They will come again next day and play more without worrying about the money.

So can we say that gambling is for the riches who can afford to lose?

I don't think so even if you are filthy rich you cannot gamble your money and think that you can afford to lose it, even the richest people on this planet will lose everything they got and, because nobody can stop you from gambling the casino will welcome you if you continue to wager until your last money, I have seen and read on media's personalities and high profile losing their fortune because they don't have control and lose money they should not suppose to lose.
