Trofo is definitely a go big go home kind of guy but I bet you so are a lot of the other guys posting, just they are so shy to share Wink And nice one too vd309!

Anyway, it was a not-so-good week for me in terms of betting, I was going to win my own special multibet but was letdown by Sassuolo. And yesterday, I had another insured bet returned thanks to... Bayer Leverkusen not winning. But thanks to a hedge I at least got freebets back PLUS I got a small profit.

Prediction however has been a great week for me! I won prizes in 3 contests from Sportsbet: UFC Vegas 50 Multi Master Challenge, Indian Wells Masters and Arsenal + Southampton + SPFC ⚽ Prediction Contest. Now I just have to be very wise in using them lol.

Thanks so much Steve, jeremypwr, notblox1, all of you really!
4022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 14, 2022, 09:01:29 AM
Seems like hodl is always the best option, if you take the chart lessons Wink But don't take them as they're not true. If everyone hodls, then nobody uses then Bitcoin has no utility.

If you buy and 99% of the time it drops, then we'd all be having Bitcoin with negative. Markets are so simple, remember. If more people buy than people are selling price goes up. And we all know BTC has only been up since the past 12 years Smiley
4023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 14, 2022, 07:02:30 AM
Finally, come back again, it seems that Xavi learned from the previous match, Aubameyang, Torres, and also Dembele is the most effective lineups for the attacking lines. And again, with score 4-0. It seems that 4 is the most fortunate number for this club  Grin
O the other hand, Sevilla has decreased performance currently, they could only make a draw match vs Rayo Vallecano.
Now the point difference is really closed with Barcelona. Sevilla must be more careful about this.
But the result may be decided in the next matches because Barcelona will be against Real Madrid, and Sevilla will be against Real Sociedad. These will bevery interesting macthes.

I think it was less about learning from the previous match and more about confirming what was already evident to the rest of us haha. Auba has always been a killer instinct striker, Dembele was always showing some bright sparks but it does turn out he plays really well with the new guys, Torres though I think people were questioning a lot unfairly just because he could not finish a lot of chances.

Now can we ask real Madrid to please maybe not win? lol Not so we can catch them but so we aren't TWELVE points behind them.
4024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 13, 2022, 02:59:00 PM
Man, Sevilla. I don't know why I was so confident in picking them. The odds given by bookies should have given me a clue about how they would perform. 3 subs made at 55th minute was a gamble as it brought the first shot from a great cross, in the entire game, to equalize. Only chance after that was penalty that VAR removed. Rayo I guess deserved to win if you look at the chances created and blocks, so if Sevilla want this title they better find a way to play more creatively and get the best out of Ocampos.

Off to bed, Barca too late for me Smiley

4025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 13, 2022, 02:12:39 PM
Thanks slaman29! I had to wait until 28th round to get my first yellow cap. And yeah this round was so tough indeed! Good luck for next rounds Wink

And this is another reminder to everyone who has given up that every round has something big to fight for, plus one yellow cap takes you up so many positions in the table, and even if you didn't take it, climbing 3 or 4 positions every round will put you in good stead.

The top 10 is so close that one big round matters.

Anyway this is another big round and great opportunity for another max slam points with many already getting 3 correct predictions wow!

Trust me, gamers hate lootboxes and paid to win shit and P2E looks a lot more like this than anything else.

As you say, one people are spamming for profit, the real gamers will piss off the game and the "game" becomes a mining app.
Well, if you are a F2P player you should know that devs of the games trying to make profit so without these P2W games their projects won't last long. And also, loot boxes, gatcha roll, and other advantage of the games that can only be purchased though you can take it if you are a F2P player but there's a requirement before you get it that's why buying or paying it is an advantage to most players.

I rarely see an NFT games that focused more on the game than making a game for quick profit just because of the hype. They aren't planning their game to last long I guess but some of them managed to run long like Axie.

That's kinda the whole point of the entire discussion I started, that there really is no NFT game that focuss on the game. Everyone's jumping on for the hype and because devs think they can make quick money like everyone else. Why else are NFT games coming up in weeks, if not days, and from projects who used to be nothing to do with games?

This is just ICO projects all over again. Axie runs long because it's the first mover that's all it is really.
4027  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Southampton FC Main Sponsor 🚀🚀 on: March 13, 2022, 10:28:03 AM
Big day for Sportsbet.io on Sunday with Southampton hosting Watford, then straight after that match, Arsenal are hosting Leicester.
I am expecting Saints to win easy this weekend, Watford is missing some very important players including very good goal scorer Ismaila Sarr.
Southampton was better in previous matches with Watford, and they will play more relaxed without pressure of relegation on their shoulders.
I will dare to say that Saints will win in first half also, that may be better bet than just home win.

I have them right now on a small multibet, they are on the Super Boost for today's game but since they are the favorites, the boost is anyway not so big but betting on them at Watford actually gives you even better odds than their own sponsor Stake Wink

Sarr missing is a big problem for them but they still have potential good scorers. I think Saints one goal each half might be very good to take, or go for James Ward Prowse to score Wink

What do you think, should I cash out or go for it?

Remember this guys? I don't know why I chose to put Sassuolo in my bet, I'm usually just never even betting on Italian games and this was some teams I even didn't know anything about.

The worst is Salernitana got 1 goal early on so I thought it was gone.

But I took your advice and had put a hedge earlier on too, so I was feeling comfortable anyway.

Sassuolo scored 2 before half time and had all of the chances after that so it was never a problem until they decided to go on playing with 10 men for 25 minutes which was really not desired at all. Of course, they let in the equalizer Sad Damn you Sassuolo damn you

Good thing for the hedge so I got something back, or that's what I tell myself to comfort myself lol
4032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Joe Biden's Crypto Executive Order is a Historic Good News for Bitcoin. on: March 12, 2022, 03:11:07 PM
So if this is such good news, why's the market not reacting the way it should be? In fact, it broke 42k after the leak, which wasn't even confirmed. Which means the rumor was more valuable than the confirmation, and it's still not able to break 40k resistance.

Of course not that I think market is always reflective but surely if the news is so good, we should be seeing some kind of reaction right?
The reaction came from a rumour. Then there was a pullback. All these statements are usually how the price of Bitcoin is influenced. It should also be noted that the market is not bullish right now and any good news is not taken as well as when the market is rising. In fact, Biden did not say anything that serious. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are mentioned regularly in the words of politicians and it does not necessarily have to lead to growth.

But that's kind of what I was asking, if the rumor makes the market react well, why doesn't the confirmation have the same effect? Regardless of whether the market is bullish or not and I agree, it's for sure bearish, why does the same news have an impact as a rumor and not as a fact I wonder.

Anyway, moving on, point is there was nothing solid to actually move the markets up. Sucks.
4033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming tokens to invest in on: March 12, 2022, 01:51:40 PM
Do you guys feel it's weird to see that all of these suppposed gaming projects focus on the token rather than the game? I mean, I think P2E as a concept is pretty cool but the problem is that these are just "staking and earning and mining" projects using a game to mask the mining/issuance. Am I right?

So this is like Mining Game apps if you think about it to be honest.
Yeah, I also think like that since it feels like you are mining from the game but a real gamers won't mind that since we all think it's part of the game. Although, the annoying part of most NFT games are the bots spamming inside the game and to think that an NFT games is like a cash-grab opportunity to others. Since after investing or playing and focusing only on how to earn/make a profit is kinda like annoying because these opportunist will spam the whole game on how to earn profit without even playing the whole game.

No, real gamers will absolutely mind it as they want to play games, remember? Not mine. If all they are doing is creating actions to "mine" tokens (and let's face it all P2E games are actually doing this) then you're really going to piss off REAL gamers.

Trust me, gamers hate lootboxes and paid to win shit and P2E looks a lot more like this than anything else.

As you say, one people are spamming for profit, the real gamers will piss off the game and the "game" becomes a mining app.

I did notice Getafe at 2x and a bit over but I still left them out of my multibets, not that it makes a difference since I lost them all in past 2 days. I didn't do anything much at all, still waiting for one multibet to end with Serie A.

Levante is the match I can watch today and it's still scoreless why don't they play Barca games early hehe

4036  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 11, 2022, 05:39:33 PM
^ Because people are already aware of those manipulations, we experienced a lot since then and even on Twitter, there is a flood of FUD.
It could be there is an effect on the price of the BTC or the entire crypto during this war between Russians and Ukrainian, but it is a good point because it was increasing the price because these two countries using crypto collecting funds to support their nations and now they saw how useful BTC as an alternative payment. Expecting that the price will increase more onward.

People aware of FUD being manipulations strange enough are not aware that hype and fomo are also manipulations.

I think everyone on both sides say the same thing. As in, people pro Bitcoin says FUD is manipulation. And people on shitcoins like BSV are saying Bitcoin people are FUDders.

I mean, seriously, only now they saw how useful Bitcoin is as alternative payment and this is why Bitcoin rose? And today it dropped was because of what? They changed their mind?
4037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: March 11, 2022, 03:51:38 PM
Best to put a POLL instead of asking like this so you may find what the community sentiment on this matter.

Best not to put a poll. The community sentiment on this subforum when asked by a regular user the way OP did and responded by the type of general user responding is going to give a very bad idea of how actual miners and actual buyers actually think.

Besides, there is no question for 99% of us. Unless you're a real miner already doing it, I think very very few people entering the sector, and those doing so are hobbyists.

4039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Bill Miller, the collapse of Russia's currency is good for Bitcoin on: March 11, 2022, 01:22:17 PM
How the collapse of the Russian currency will affect the cryptocurrency, we will see in a while, but so far such an impact is not noticeable. Bitcoin behaves as before, its behavior corresponds to the current state of the market.

I always feel like people who say things like this are ignoring past examples and only using one example. Firstly, the collapse of ruble is not even new, it's been declining slowly ever since collapse of Soviet Union. Secondly, it's not as bad as hyperinflation that many other countries fiat already experience during Bitcoin's life.

Iran rial, or Argentina, or Venezueal. Everyone remember people saying Venezuela collapse would fuel Bitcoin there and all that? What happened now? Nothing.

Well MK-74 you must be so happy with the draw last night! I woke up early today and saw the results, I guess it could be worse, that we actually lost. Now we have to travel to play the next leg, so I guess the advantage is to you. Another draw and then it's penalties, where I would even say I'm not sure what our chances would be Smiley

Many tight games and only a few are confident of going through I guess.
