4041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best & worst time to trade Ethereum? on: February 02, 2021, 02:03:46 PM
Ethereum's price now is very close now to its all-time-high.
I will be more positive if Ethereum will not rejected from its all-time-high, creating new all-time-high for Ethereum is a bullish sign to me. That's why I still don't buy Ethereum in past few days, since I am afraid for the price action of Bitcoin, it may affect Ethereum too.
4042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Forget ETH, what are some low market cap coins to buy you LAMBOS for $100? on: February 02, 2021, 01:39:42 PM
It is risky. Small caps is high risk, high reward too.
I experienced this before, I am really eager to find a hidden gem, with small caps obviously. But the more I seek for hidden gems, the more I lost, like if you already hold Bitcoin and try to diversify it to some altcoins, the profits or returns is much higher than buying some altcoins.
4043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 01, 2021, 10:16:47 AM
This time is already different compare on the previous years of Bitcoin, especially last year 2017.
I don't think so this COVID drama will affect the price of crypto market. It is already proven last year, people already learnt the lesson.
Look at the hype of Bitcoin these days, retail investors and institutions are starting to buy Bitcoin. Look what happened when Bitcoin dropped below 30k past few days, it is bouncing once it is dropping.
6-12 months may be sideways for Bitcoin, but dropping below $20,000 is kinda impossible.
4044  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mail for trading in exchanges ...? on: January 31, 2021, 07:11:22 AM
(....)
One of my friend using Gmail and it got hacked..🥺
(.....)
For sure there is no problem on email service provider. It is on your friend's security problem.
+1 with mk4, additional alternative for 2FA is the Twilio Authy 2-factor Authentication, I am using it now. And it is also good since you can use it with multiple device.

Quick tip: separate your crypto related accounts with your personal or work related email, it may help you to categorize and if ever some of your email address will get compromised, not all will get affected.
4045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Considering BTC Pair on: January 30, 2021, 10:48:44 AM
When you are trading stable coin pairs, e.g. DOT/USDT, ETH/USDT. Do you still considering o analyzing the BTC pair of what you are trading? E.g. ETH/BTC, DOT/USDT.

Most of my trades recently are on stable coin pairs, which most of the time, I don't consider their BTC pairs. I don't think if it is okay if I just ignore their BTC pair.

If there is any reasons should I consider them, what are those?
Any advice on my concern?
4046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone remember the total scam coin Envion? on: January 30, 2021, 09:05:03 AM
I was able to invest on that shitcoin.
I was really disappointed to this project before, especially their affiliate program where you may get some of incentives once you invite someone and buy on their ICO.

But I am still thankful that I was able to exit before at loss (not that huge). It was a part of the lesson on me. As far as I know, there was some court or law related actions were filed against the team behind this, but for sure they already enjoyed those money that they scammed for the people. Never again!
4047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading and wanting to automatically sell when it reaches a certain rate... on: January 30, 2021, 09:01:24 AM
@Mk4 is right, but stoploss order may still achieve same output, you may use it as profit order too, but it will be the same result with limit sell order.
For OP, incase you don't know that there are 2 types order too, a market order and limit order.
If you do market order at $35,000, sometimes it may not totally  sell on that price, especially if the market fluctuate, but using limit order, it will indeed trigger and filled at specified price.
4048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did this happen ? on: January 30, 2021, 08:55:50 AM
It sounds weird tho. Why would you put an order of 169 sats when the current price is lower than that for a limit order type? Usually, you'd put a lower price for an entry. Are you sure it's not another order type, like leverage for example?
It is indeed market order. When you use limit order, your order will trigger and filled at which price you set on limit order.
Just what @logfiles said, there are a huge fluctuate especially when the market is on very huge volatility, market order may differ everytime. Even which market it is, the type of order is still the same, even spot or futures.

For OP, you may lock this thread to avoid spams if you already no concerns.
4049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading DEFI vs Trading Older coins on: January 29, 2021, 06:14:14 AM
To be honest, I was wrong at first on DeFi coins.
Instead of accumulating some of them before, I instead bought the old coins or where those DeFi coins are built on.
Just like Ethereum. If you made some calculations, if you buy some Defi coins that are under on Ethereum, you may earn huge profits instead of just buying only Ethereum.
4050  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Guide to check fees: Taker, maker, deposit, withdrawal, transaction fees on: January 29, 2021, 06:11:47 AM
A quick tip regarding the fees of some exchanges.
Some are offering discounts on fees, such as trading fees (like takers and makers) if you hold some of exchange tokens in your account, just like in Binance (BNB token) and on FTX exchange (FTT token). I just tried these two exchange tokens for getting cheaper fees on their exchange. I think there are still lot of exchanges doing what I mentioned.
4051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you don't know or understand what happened today with cryto read this. on: January 29, 2021, 06:07:51 AM
Maybe the question is how is this going to affect crypto currency or bitcoin itself.
(.....)
It may have huge effect for cryptocurrency or Bitcoin.
Look what happened on Dogecoin, almost increase in 1000% by just 24 hours.
But for Bitcoin, for me, Bitcoin is immune to this. Bitcoin already experienced a lot of ups and downs, different FUDS just to drive the price to crazy.

I am curious on what happened in GameStop, are those activities conducted by random people on the internet is illegal?
I saw a exchange or broker that they are halting some stocks to trade because of what happened.
4052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best art for crypto trading on: January 28, 2021, 12:20:15 PM
For OP, I hope it is just easy to make money on trading.

Best art for crypto trading
Honestly, in the crypto world has its own art, expertise and way of doing crypto trading.
(....)
OP's thread title is kinda misunderstanding. It's not an art. It is kinda method for trading or a way on how to trade.

Honestly, there lot of methods to achieve what OP want, since he used word PUMP, so you can use some word like BREAKOUT, especially you are trading with breakouts, so you will just enter once you saw a breakout on a patterns or supports/resistances.

If OP making money on that way, then it is good, I hope it is just not for advertising the tool he/she is using.
4053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Share your thoughts on Polkadot Parachain auction on: January 28, 2021, 12:08:04 PM
The main key player here is the Polkadot first. How Polkadot will handle projects under it especially these upcoming DeFi projects under it.
What I am looking forward and have long term expectation is the Centrifuge, it is built with superb Parity Substrate which we already saw with Polkadot. Substrate is the best framework for decentralized systems, I am looking forward on it and for me this is for long term.
What I want to see first is how Polkadot will become useful or become successful at first, mentioned projects may follow Polkadot.
4054  Economy / Economics / Re: Everybody talking about economy reopen but problem on: January 28, 2021, 04:43:47 AM
For me, Banks will never do it. They are afraid to lose their customers, they will start to lose income too. Bitcoin is the number 1 threat for the banks.
Bitcoin aims to solve the problem in traditional banking.
Economy will get back to track in a normal way, people will start to learn and realize how suck the current economy and that's the time they will start to introduce in Bitcoin.
4055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is what mass adoption looks like. on: January 27, 2021, 11:07:41 PM
Hoping they will disregard XRP  Cheesy (kidding).

This is one of ton ways to spread mass adoption, by just doing this, a lot of people will become more curious on Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency and they will try to use it.

I am curious if they are using some payment processors or just doing manually to pay cryptocurrency.

I can't wait to try to use my Bitcoin to buy some items/services in our local areas.
4056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could it be possible to do the same as GME in the crypto market? on: January 27, 2021, 11:02:32 PM
For me YES, it is possible. But not that huge percentage of gains.
The GME gains for those kind of internet memes or trolls are  amazing, a lot of people manage to hop in for that pump.

For what happened on GME with internet memes/trolls is more possible to do in Bitcoin.

Some people saying that what happened on GME was price manipulation, but have you ever tried to think if government just print and print fiat and called it banking?
4057  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: January 27, 2021, 02:00:07 AM
Elon is seen as the new Jesus of our era. People like him because he's the science guy that is also cool with the current generation's humor.
(.....)
In short, his popularity got uses and worthy. Popularity with good reputation. Unlike other who are just popular but no use at all or reputation is not good.
That's why a lot of people are fan of Elon Musk. This guy is intelligent and have brilliant mind. I will not surprise if in the future that one of his companies will announce that they included Bitcoin on their balance sheets Cool.
4058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 27, 2021, 01:31:30 AM
What is happening to the world of sports now? why do we have a lot of clown who try to ruined the reputation of the sport?
A youtuber fighting an ex MMA fighter, I don't like what I'm seeing anymore, sorry, but I feel like they are trying to make a circus in the sports just to make money.
(.....)
Indeed. This is also I thought at first. I remember Conor Mcgregor when he fought Mayweather inside the boxing ring, purely entertainment and dramas. Equal to pure tons of money.

But if we only talk about this fight, I rather go for Jake Paul here inside the boxing ring against Askren, even Jake Paul got still few bouts. Atleast, Jake Paul already got experienced on boxing. 2-0 records for Jake Paul on starting his boxing career is already quite good.
4059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create an android app for your altcoin? on: January 27, 2021, 01:25:52 AM
I don't think android app or any mobile app will help you to create your own altcoin. But you can use mobile apps and integrate it with your altcoin.
As far as I know, you need some blockchain developer or smart contract developers to create your own coin.
There are lot of ways to create your own altcoin, just like using Ethereum network to create an ERC20 token, or NEO, or Tron.
4060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: January 27, 2021, 01:21:57 AM
Ripple is already fishy few years ago, it is a product of pump and dump, purely hype. I don't have clue why they have still lot of supporters back then? Or they are just trolls?
A lot of people keep telling before to avoid Ripple. Look at now, a lot of people got REKT or trapped with a huge loss.

For me, better to move on and avoid to hoping for Ripple, there are lot new altcoins now that is more better in Ripple.
