Could it be possible to do the same as GME in the crypto market?

I was wondering if it would be possible to bring a coin to such a higher price (likely what is going on with GameStop right now but then in the crypto market) if we as a group would all buy a coin.

For me YES, it is possible. But not that huge percentage of gains.
The GME gains for those kind of internet memes or trolls are  amazing, a lot of people manage to hop in for that pump.

For what happened on GME with internet memes/trolls is more possible to do in Bitcoin.

Yes it can happen, and it has already happened in the past(2017) with a dead project called ChainCoin(CHC)[1].

It started with this YouTuber called "High on Coins" trying to pump it to his watchers, and people definitely flooded in. What happened? As expected, the price pumped. But the price immediately crashed down once there already wasn't enough money coming in.

I think this has been practice by pump and dump groups in the altcoin market. The only difference I see is that the GameStop pump takes months to accomplished, while in altcoin market, the pump will just last a week before the incoming dump, or those players taking their profits.

And I have a feeling that maybe bitcoin might be the collateral damage, I have a feeling that bitcoin investors as well ride the GameStop pump that's why the price of bitcoin tank after the first week of January and then GameStop continue it's ascend.

If you gather a group of small investors and you buy a dead shitcoin that has less than 1K USD daily trading volume,then the price of that dead shitcoin will go up rapidly in a short time frame.The problem is how to create a snowball effect that will bring in tons of new investors and fresh money into the pump.
Other major problem I can see is dead shitcoins usually have a gigantic supply,so they aren't scarce.
The lack of scarcity might be a great obstacle for the shitcoin price to increase exponentially.

Yeah that's true, it's difficult to gather so many people. Unless we create our own reddit group and wait till the right moment when the group has so many members that are willing to pump it ; )
