Yes I had been using the default one which is ETA, is the only thing giving inaccurate calculation? But I am not sure about it.
Since when I found they are giving over killing fee, I moved to the website which I mentioned and it is easier for me to set the required fee using static feature which is the second one after ETA guess. Mostly I won't make any transaction when the network is congested so static works fine for me.
It is your problem, as said. ETA method gives you the estimate fee that your transaction will probably be confirmed within X blocks. Default, X is 5 blocks. You can change the X parameter by slip the bar through 5 values: 25, 10, 5, 2, and 1 block(s). If you look at the mempool with https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,24h or see screenshot above. When mempool is flat between fee rates, ETA will give you over killing fee. It gives you acceptable fee rate if mempool is stucked.

Does it present that the block size hit its limit in almost more than 2 years and a half?
I think it is not that simple. Blocksize depends on what type of transactions are in it. Because weight is more important than transaction size now, after segwit adoption. Thank you. I meant about the period (~2 1/2 years) before the soft fork, not after the soft fork. I guess the block size reached limits for more than 2 years (of course with ups and downs depend on transactions on the network). I am surprised that it takes the community more than 2 years to solve it (if what the chart discloses is true). If you have a block filled only with native segwit transactions it would have 4MB. More than double the size of the stats you posted.
My stats are for median of block size every day, not max or min values. You are mentioning about max value of block size.

My transaction ...... is stuck since 2 days even though I sent with 17 sat/byte fee It will be stucked for a while. As of writing, from the tip of mempool to the fee rate you used, total size is about 51 MB. If you are lucky, that transaction will be confirmed in the coming weekend. If you are unlucky, you will have to wait till the next weekend. The second scenario is what I guess you will have. - Good thing: the fee rate is high enough to help your transaction get confirmation after a while of waiting.
- Bad thing: it is marked as NO Replace-by-Fee so that you can not boost the transaction (if you sudden are hurry).
- Lesson from it: Try to use a non-custodial wallet and turn on the RBF option. It helps you to replace and boost your transaction with higher fee

A pc or laptop is must required equipment for sure when they want to become a crypto investor but we can't expect everyone to hold on such device where every they go. There are people who always in travel so they keep in touch with their smartphone for most of their crypto related works.
True. Electrum is good wallet to find and set the required fee with many features as you stated but they are not accurate all the times which I experienced it personally. Many times I end up paying more fee than what is actually needed for my transaction to get included in the next block that is why I moved to mempool analyzer even when making transactions from my smartphone as well.
I don't know what caused your problem with inaccuracy from fee rate estimate in Electrum (wallet for Android). As I emphasized, make sure you choose the Mempool option for your mobile wallet. Default, the wallet is use ETA for fee estimation that often gives you over killing fee. Is it the option you have on your mobile wallet?

I support your proposal, LoyceV. It makes sense visually.
I thought that maybe remove the option to hide the hyperlinks for the Newbies and Brand New accounts and just keep the whole url so nobody get fooled. I like LoyceV's suggestion more but this issue was discussed a few times before but again no changes has ever made, so I hope theymos sees the need for that particular change.
theymos says many times that newbie jails will not be brought back so alternative solutions to control and prevent suspicious, hazardous links are good approaches.
Besides your proposals, I'd like to suggest to automatically put all url links from Brandnew or newbie members into code brackets. With this approach, brandnew/ newbie members will still be able to share url links but readers have to copy and paste those links to visit. It reduces mistakenly click on those bad links. I think it is a small change like what theymos did when he disable image display from brandnew and newbie members.
Edit: Wouldn't this also be viewed as one of those newbie jails by most of the newbie and other member, mate ?
Initially, I did not think of it as a jail but you could be right. It can be a softened jail if it is a jail.

Bitcoin has its public ledger and all data is accessible so any analysis is reproducible. It is only a matter that which skills you have and which code you use for your analysis. Today I see this tweet and the chart is similar to mine in OP (look at a bottom chart). It is a proof of transparency and reproducibility. This tweet gave me a information that I didn't know when I find the visually strange flatting period in my chart. Some #Bitcoin history visualized:
The average block size chart beautifully depicts the SegWit soft fork in August 2017, that increased the 1 MB limit for block sizes.
In my chart. I understand the increase of block size after the soft fork in August 2017 (both values for p25, p75, and median block size moved up after that) but the flat area since late of 2014 (you see both three lines - median, p25, and p75 tend to be overlapped each other) make me confused. Does it present that the block size hit its limit in almost more than 2 years and a half?

Of course from the site you mentioned we can get clear insight of Mempool however for a normal joe it maybe hard for to understand when they visit from smaller screen devices that is why I mentioned some good alternative which atleast shows up high, medium, low priority required fee with block sizes and fees so it maybe allow us to choose the right fee even when we are not in front of our PC.
As a crypto investor, a computer is a must equipment with which you will have a better screen than mobile. If you only use mobile (Android), an alternative is Electrum wallet. You can get the fee rate from mempool with fee estimation (click on Send, tap on the Star icon). There are 3 options for the fee estimation: ETA, Mempool and Static. You have to choose Mempool. Then, scroll the bar to change target from 0.1 MB from tip to 10 MB from tip and which each level, you will see a different fee rate (sat/byte). From a few times I observe it, it gives correct fee rate (you can double check with jochen-hoenick.de site.
If you are cautious of loss if you store your bitcoin on mobile, simply create a test wallet and don't store any bitcoin inside. Use the test wallet to get fee rates.

The market since 2018 has moved faster than the previous 4 years. You can naively say the bull market now is moving ahead of time if you compare what happened in 2016. Fortunately, you can ignore it because it is an ending of warm-up phase and Bitcoin is in Bullish and today jumps to its Bullish extension, the thing to know is Over-bullish not yet to come. You can hold bitcoin till the Over-bullish time or take profit and wait for pull back or flash crash to accumulate more bitcoin. If you decide to take profit, please be clear at beginning that you want to take profit to cash and wait for chances to enrich your bitcoin amount. If you can not enrich it (no pullback), you at least successfully take real profit.
Do you mean the December effects?

Congratulations to gmaxwell and fillippone as well as to 2 lucky participants. The vote and the results show us a fact (?) and it seems many good interviews were missed.

it is the time to celebrate a new all time high for bitcoin. Yesterday is a really big day for bitcoiners (of course, I hope you did not short bitcoin and short with with too high leverages). As of writing, bitcoin is trying to keep the price at $20,000 but you should know on BitMEX hours ago the highest price is $22273. It is not because of support and demand but it comes from liquidations. It is the reason I told you to be careful. Some points to note: - Bitcoin hits its new all time high
- The volume is still low and is about 59.8% of Volume's All time high at $74.16 billion on 13 Mar 2020
- If you sort out the daily volume, yesterday has its volume is ranked at 48th position

To the experts...how long do you think this bullish trend will last? This is quite exciting.
Don't believe in what so-called experts say. Bitcoin is onlyin its early of a full bullish mode. The break through $20,000 yesterday shows how healthy the bull market is. It is never easy to say the future of market but I expect the market will have a bullish phase till the end of next year. I meant corrections will happen and bear in mind 30% serious correction. It is a matter that at which price that huge correction will be triggered. In the long-term perspective (longer than end of 2021), I am bullish with bitcoin. You can skip the price chart and look the supply chart that shows bitcoin jumps into its deflation period after the 2020-May halving. The next halving in 2024 will put bitcoin into a very flat area and it is deflationary phase. The third wave was predicted to be at around 21.2k by the end of December and it’s already blown past that mid-December. Let me know...thanks
The given price was surpassed about a hour ago.

Great Arkansas gave you a few helpful steps to screen 'potential' coins for you. I'd prefer to give one more step: Screen them by the indicator of % down from ATH. How to do this? - Messari.io's screener (you need to create you free account to customize your screener with that indicator)
- Click on Customize: Type in to the search box "% down from ATH".
- I also narrow the range of marketcap from 10 mil. to 50 mil.
It is screening step to narrow down the list of 'potential' altcoins. When you have a list, you need to do forensic investigations on those projects as Great Arkansas guided you. A warning is you should think of how many percent of your portfolio should be in altcoins. Don't make any all-in investment in altcoins. Don't take risk like that because altcoins are pumped and dumped. Their intrinsic values mostly are zero or very low.

Most probably these users did not have a clue what they were doing so really we can not question them. It was an innocent mistake from ignorance of course. However, I was a bit suspicious before getting your point and checking the default link (LOL) https://brainwalletx.github.io/#signPeople who signed a message like that and staked their signed message on the forum did not read the guide from brainwalletx and from the topic here. They skip all fundamental guides and warnings. Basically, they would recognize that sign a message is to prove the ownership (theirs) on that address (they must own private key to sign a message). It is weird when they do know the address they used does not belong to them. They can not know how the process goes but the address is not theirs (not sure how they can easily skip this important element). In real life, how do I sign my signature on paper (contract, ie.) if the name is not mine? Thanks OP for this interesting finding.

Today is Wednesday that is among the best days of week to trade bitcoin. - Monday, Thursday and Wednesday probably best days to trade every week.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday are less volatile days and this fact somewhat is reflected with lower transaction fees on the network. As I pointed out the weekend effects
- Those statements are true for ranks based on either median or interquartile range (iqr) -- on plots, iqr is represented by the Green box.
- Pay attention on whiskers (outside boxes). Monday and Thursday have biggest gaps between whiskers. If you are good at tradings, you can take advantage of such
- Of course, bullish and bearish market can have a bit difference and don't let you are obsessed with statistics.

Bittrex is one of the biggest scam exchanges of recent times. They have done this in the past on a much larger scale involving thousands of users and millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies which they effectively stole from those users by shutting down their accounts and preventing them from ever getting their funds out. Obviously it was profitable for them and they keep doing it but at a smaller scale because their exchange lost almost all of its users and credibility. You can see all the negative Trust left by bitcointalk members on the Bittrex announcer on this forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=96390I used Bittrex and did not have problem with them but I knew of scam accusations on them (funds hold, KYC failed, etc.). The collapse of Poloniex then Bittrex in 2017 gave a perfect and open change for Binance to take over the lead position in the crypto market. If Poloniex and Bittrex did not self-destroy their exchanges in the days, Binance would have more challenges to move up on the top. Binance was born at the right time when people need alternatives for Poloniex and Bittrex. CZ and Binance gave them a very good alternative at the days. It is not only about products on their exchanges but also about how they run airdrops, giveaways and attract huge number of users to their exchange. Most of people don't care much about privacy, security and their first priority is money. Binance gave them and of course after having some experience on Binance, they would not find reasons to leave (from 2018 till now).

Is it possible to give us something more. For example, the most profitable days but here that we consider all Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays etc... Or weeks in the year for last 5-6 yrs. It can be interesting how is important what time of year it is or what day it is.
Here you go - Monday, Thursday and Wednesday probably best days to trade every week.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday are less volatile days and this fact somewhat is reflected with lower transaction fees on the network. As I pointed out the weekend effects

The people who bought during 2017's ATH, and didn't sell truly deserve an award. They're the only group of people who should be called the "HODLers". The relief from their stress just arrived last month. They chased the market and they got lessons from it. I don't do this. My trades are based on my calculations (of course can be correct or inaccurate) with my formula. I take profit at the price I calculate and if the price moves upward more intensively and reach a higher price, I skip it. Stay aside and watch the market goes, I don't chase it. When pull backs, corrections or turning point is found, I join the market again. Safety is my first priority, not profit. I don't say I make right calculations and right decisions in my all trading-life but I try to reduce or minimize risks for my trades. My trades should be good from my own side, not from the support or luck is given by the market.

I thank you for the announcement on the language upgrade of mempool. It can help Vietnamese community. There is another alternative site to observe mempool conditions and in my opinion, that one is better. jochen-hoenicke.deBelow is my clarification why I would prefer to use it. With that site, you can have three different chats for Mempool: Unconfirmed transaction counts, Pending transaction fee in BTC, Mempool size in MB.
Honestly, I usually check the third chart at bottom (Mempool size in MB) but there is more convenience if you want to get more details with 2 other charts.
Another plus point of that site compares to mempool.space is the color scheme used for fee rate bands are very well-designed. It ranges from cold colors (represent low fee rates) to hot colors (represent high fee rates). The color schemed for rate bands on mempool.space is weird and I am not like it. It is mixed from hot (at low fee rate), to cold (average fee rate) and back to hot (high fee rate).
Additionally, another plus point is you can hover the mouse on any point on the chart and get details. It seems the site is from Germany so if you can, would you mind contacting the owner and ask for a Vietnamese version for it, please.
A common good thing: 2 sites both can be connected through Tor.
