4041  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2017/2018 Bullrun repeat in 2021? on: October 30, 2020, 03:25:33 PM
That year was something else, it could technically happen of course but I doubt we will ever see a 2 month period that is ever similar to that in our lives in bitcoin.

Sure there could be some sort of situation where altcoins could go up that much, but we are talking about a minimum of 20x increase in bitcoin in a 2-3 month period and that means today price is let's say 13k that would make it 260k by the time new year comes, do you think that could ever be similar?

It would be impossible in my mind, sure technically possible but there is no way in hell people would buy all the way up to 260k per bitcoin. This is why 2021 will be decent and good, I still invest into bitcoin, I believe the future is crypto, yet even I do not think that the bull run could ever be similar to 2017 ever again.
4042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stays Above USD 13,000, Altcoins Take Hit on: October 30, 2020, 02:34:36 PM
Altcoins usually go up with bitcoin ever since the BCH deal, that was about summer of 2017 and before that whenever bitcoin went up, altcoins went down because it was only bitcoin that got affected from the hype and others didn't. Ever since those days, people see bitcoin as a way to get involved with crypto, if bitcoin could x2 soon, that means another coin could 10x and that is why people moved to altcoins a lot during hype periods to make the most out of a bull run.

This time around it wasn't like that at all, it was more about how bitcoin went up because of a great news and doing great but people didn't see any reason at all why altcoins should go up too, it was nothing to do with altcoins so they didn't move to that. Hence I believe this isn't a forever thing but a situational thing.
4043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toyota IT Division to Launch Own Digital Currency on: October 29, 2020, 04:08:29 PM
This is more of a great news for the blockchain world and not for crypto world, which normally sounds like they are the same thing but they are not the same thing at all. Nowadays there are many blockchain companies and they do allow people to actually make a development or a software and they sell that to others for use, there is no token or coin needed or even if there is it is just for show and not for monastery reasons, it is more like a server that is online for them, an improved version of cloud computing, and not something to trade.

So, this is more like that and I believe before Toyota, there should be a lot of banks and other financial companies that needs to check blockchain tech, it would help them decrease costs a lot and would allow them to be faster and more organized.
4044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 29, 2020, 03:21:04 PM
I believe there are tons of bounty managers in the forum anyway, so there is no reason to not work with them, they are quite good enough to be actually valuable for everyone in the end, if you could pay them the money beforehand they would look like escrow but at the same time they are going to work for you as well, you are not only giving them the money to distribute but you are also paying them a salary to work for you as well. That way you would get your requirements ready, whatever social media or wherever else you want bounties you would give the list and you will just sit back and relax and watch people work, it is hassle free and it will not take more than 24 hours to get an agreement with a bounty hunter neither.

This is a great deal but many shady projects decline it for obvious reasons.
4045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 29, 2020, 02:28:20 PM
You should always try to see none as an option, because if you do not see none as an option, they will make sure that your half bread is standard and nobody should expect a full bread. If you focus on the small givers and half empty promises and basically just bad practices just because you made 20 bucks that month thanks to it, instead of 50 bucks you got promised, you can't just say "well 20 bucks is better than 0" because that means "20 bucks is fine when promised 50 bucks" as well, and people will use that.

This is the reason why try to get all of your bread, try to make sure you got everything you earned, and if not do not shut up about it just because you got paid a little, that is a shut up money and not what you deserved, you should still continue to complain and accuse the people who didn't give you the full bread.
4046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why waiting candle to close is important? on: October 29, 2020, 12:58:14 PM
Obviously studying these indicators and patterns are the hard part, you are not going to be able to understand what is what that easily, you are not going to just be able to read some books and see some charts and suddenly become someone who is a master at this, you are going to take a long time to even be decent at what you are doing for few years before you could actually feel comfortable with reading the charts.

However when you reach that level it becomes easier to make a profit, even the master traders who keep profiting over course of years do have some bad days and lose money, not every trade will be great even after you become an expert, but when you are a veteran that can see stuff without too much work, you will end up with more profits than losses, so overall will be a profit.
4047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: October 29, 2020, 10:44:56 AM
Of course being able to trade for yourself without any outside help would be the greatest start you could have, not like many people would get that very quickly, but you could potentially have a start for it and that is where the real money starts trickling down. When you have only 1k dollars invested and barely make 20% a year you get 200 dollars, but if you keep that up for 20 years you are getting closer to retirement, this is not a get rich overnight system, this is a retire early system which is what you should focus on.

Do not worry about losses you could make along the way, you could lose some of that and I would say you could regain that just as quickly too if you know what you are doing. So my suggestion is to get started, make a little now, and try to be consistent about it.
4048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: October 28, 2020, 05:14:08 PM
Things can co-exist together, not all the market takes a share from other markets, sometimes they create their own market which means there is also no need to be worrying about cex and dex or cefi or defi being so different from each other but growing all at the same time, because they can co-exist together.

Literally this is not something I would be knowledgeable about to comment on in an official situation, I am not an expert at all, I have been in crypto world for over 8 years now and I can tell you one thing I learned ; anyone can be wrong. However look at all the crypto coins coming into the market, they grow and become big, but bitcoin keeps growing big at the same time as well, one going up doesn't make the other one go down, hence I believe defi and others could do the same.
4049  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the Digital Yuan makes China even more powerful? on: October 28, 2020, 03:57:40 PM
China doesn't need money to be powerful, they already have everything they could potentially need for world power, that is not what they are looking into in order to become the top dog in political stance.

The problem they have right now is they want to do stuff other nations wouldn't, like kill their own people, slave their workers, make the ccp or whatever the hell government is called richer and more powerful and be the best dictatorship in the world even more than Russia, which means they need other nations to shut up about it, that is all they need, if other nations accept china this way, they could do all those bad things and never face any problems, but other nations are not fine with it, so having a digital yuan wouldn't suddenly change that at all.
4050  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 27, 2020, 07:05:23 PM
Looks like Juventus and Barcelona games got a lot more closer than it should have been. We all know that Juventus would have been a lot better team if they had Ronaldo, not just because of Ronaldo vs Messi type of discussions since I am sure everyone would at least agree that they are very close in talent and shown this for more than a decade now, but it is more about Juventus being much better team than Barcelona as of right now, in fact they are so much better that right now without Ronaldo Juventus is still quite close with only 2.74 to 2.5 odds which is basically same in most cases and not much difference.

Hence I would say surprise for that game would be Juve, I already wagered 10 bucks on them and I think they are going to pull an upset without Ronaldo, Barcelona is just too bad these days.
4051  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: October 27, 2020, 03:25:02 PM
I believe that we have those experiences, and I am sure that many of us losing big money in gambling. It is natural to feel angry and upset when we lose because that is the first expression we did when we got something bad.

But we can not blame the casino because we decide to play with big money or for some time, so we need to introspect what we did before. We need to be wise in gambling. Otherwise, we will lose all the money we have without waiting for too long.
That is exactly what I am saying with that post, it is understandable to be mad and upset over a loss, but that can't be the only thing we could focus on when we lose, you can't just start blaming others for your loss. The problem with this is the fact that it shows the hubris or denial of people as well, a casino comes up and says "if you bet 100 dollars and win we will give you 99 dollars and if you bet and lose we will get all that 100 dollars, that 1 dollar difference is our profit" and clearly explain to you that you will lose in the long run, what do people do?

Well, they keep trying to find "methods" that will go over that and win forever. Whenever they end up losing they keep going "it can't be because of me, I did everything right!!!" and that is really sad, you could have done nothing to begin with because the whole system is not like that.
4052  Economy / Gambling / Re: WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: October 26, 2020, 10:24:56 PM
The point of gambling is never the idea that you will win, it is the idea that you "may" win and that is why even from the first moment we are not looking at it like a way to make money, but a way to have fun AND maybe make money during that way

That's not how human mind works

There's even a whole theory about how we assess the likelihood of something. The major tenet of this theory is that we should first imagine how we get something before we proceed to evaluate our chances of actually obtaining it. But the idea of winning may stick in our heads for all its appeal, so we are internally expecting to win even if the odds are against us and we are perfectly aware of that. In other words, we are still setting ourselves up to feel disappointed when we finally lose
I understand being upset over a loss, it actually makes perfect sense, we are talking about people who lose thousands of dollars (or even be upset over few dollars too) so it makes sense that you would be upset about it. Nobody in the world goes "oh lol I lost 5k, such a funny story to tell later haha", everyone is angry and upset and mad about it whenever they lose money.

The difference between being a smart loser and a sour loser is the tiny detail that one of them realizes them losing is normal and that is how casinos work and the other tries to find a blame to put the blame of them not having any money left on the casino itself.

I mean you "can" blame the casino for losing money, but not for doing anything illegal, they literally have house edge so you would lose, why would you think they need something more?
4053  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 26, 2020, 08:21:26 PM
What I am wondering is, if the buy-in feature is interesting and rewarding?

All bonus feature on slots are pretty interesting but wether you manage to get profit or not from those would be another story.

Few hours ago, I bought 3 bonus feature on Ted Megaways Slot ( Not on Roobet ) and each cost $15. The first one was totally shit, I landed $0.24 . Second was probably $5 or so , my screen crashed before its done. Third was the best, I landed $204 .

In bonus buy, its either bad or some decent amount. Dont expect anything crazy unless you are buying one of those high volatility slots like Money Train 2

I think it is kinda hard to get a decent winnings from TED since its RTP is around 93%(got this from other casino site but I do not know if Roobet have the same RTP) much lower than the Return of Kong.  I almost  have the same story except that my highest winning on this is just around 110x multiplier which is much less than the price of the Ted buy-in feature.
Bonus world is not really something you may want to get involved all that frequently, it  is a very fun thing when done in short bursts and it is really entertaining to spike the game up for a while when you are bored, but if you keep playing for the bonus you are going to get upset.

My spouse loves playing slots games and I can tell you that she can play for 8+ hours straight without getting bored, and thankfully I moved her away from the real thing and downloaded some fake "gem" type of mobile slot games that doesn't cost any money or even if she doesn't have any game money left you spend like 9 bucks and get a bunch of them so it's fine.

However some people really can play for just like 25 cents a pull and still manage to spend thousands per month when slots are THIS MUCH fun for them, I can't put my attention on anything in the world for 8 hours but slots do have that affect on some people.
4054  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🥊 🎲 on: October 25, 2020, 09:06:20 PM
I had to withdraw my money again. Can make no bets. This site is a fking joke.
How do you limit somebody to <10$ bets.

Those people are in the wrong business.

Somebody any advise of a btc based site similar to betfair? Dont want to waste my time with those chicken bookies anymore. Btw, Nitro also limited me, but I can still bet like 10-20% of the max limit before. Still annoying.

Good bye stake, thanks for stressing my nerves. Hope you will have to limit more players and lose a lot of money.

Too bad people are still playing casino these days, they never learn.
The problem with the max limiting in sportsbet is not universal and it is not for everyone neither, it is basically a thing in many many casinos and it requires them to either know you or you need to get a bit of friendly with the casino beforehand, whichever you prefer.

There are websites online that you can go to and give your KYC and they will honestly let you gamble 1 bitcoin as well, because they will have your information, and check all around the internet and see if you gambled anywhere else and try to build a gambler profile for you and if you are usually losing they will keep you, otherwise limit you.

Here and all other places that never heard of you, you will have to gamble a bit and see how you are and the more you gamble (you can win too) the higher your wager will get, you just have to be patient, just be calm about it, even if it goes down a bit, wait for it to get back, just wager anything but constantly.

This is weird that I can't find on Sportsbet.io anything about USA elections, i mean even in our local books we can bet to the election outcome. And here is nothing (i wanted to see what odds on both candidates). Maybe because weird design, which doesn't change in better way after my previous time here  Undecided
It is really interesting to see such odds. I really thought about if it means electoral wins or popular vote wins?

Because nobody really sees this election as clearly as sportsbet.io does with that odds. They are saying Biden will win for sure and almost guarantee it, 1.45 for Biden to win is not a joke, it is as further as "this is something we guarantee" as it gets when we are talking about outrights, sure in regular football matches you could find 1.2 type of odds here and there on some different divisions teams and all but when we are talking about elections once every 4 years in a big nation 1.45 is really as sure thing as it gets.

Looking at everything else, I would say we should be careful, I am not going to lie I hope they are right but if they are right I wouldn't risk my money on it anyway.
4057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 22, 2020, 04:42:28 PM
With the way DeFi was going I already was expecting it to end like this. Seriously, just look at how these projects were growing like crazy, how can a genuine investment go from $1 and the next thing, within a month or so, you’re seeing that it’s being sold for over $50k or so, lol.

So, I wasn’t surprised when they started becoming total failure. Although I am not saying all of them will fall, there will still be some of them around. But with the way they were moving , majority of them were doomed to fail and that’s what they are currently experiencing.
4058  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 22, 2020, 03:38:08 PM
I sort of understand the government is doing right things because they are thinking about every single person.

Sure we all want people to actually stay at home but we are forgetting the people who own their own business as well so there are tons of economical problems in the world as well so I can’t really say what is the right decision to open or not to open.

If you open thousands of people will die, if you do not open tens of millions of people will starve and may die so in the end both options are horrible.
4059  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: October 21, 2020, 06:46:43 PM
Mr. WangTang has done it again:

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/736547732

Another 300 BTC bet. Since I think bitcoin is worth a little more than the last time he did it, so it might qualify for largest-real-value-bet-placed-in-bitcoin  (as opposed to most-bitcoin-bet, which as BAC noted is most likely mechs 7k btc bet)
This wangtang dude is doing something else, when I checked it out dude had like 8k+ bets wagered so far, and considering the price of bitcoin, I could easily say that this dude is probably the biggest gambler in the whole world, he has also earned much more than I could ever guess during this period as well, the weirdest one came with his 19.51x bet on a huge wager where he won like 600 bitcoins I think, or 60? Whatever it was, dude is straight up balling right now, it is not even remotely close to each other at all.

I really hope that he doesn't suddenly crash and lose everything, that would be a very bad anti-climactic end to his run. However he doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, which means it looks like dude might continue more and more until he loses everything like predicted (only if he doesn't stop).
4060  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 21, 2020, 06:05:14 PM
There is really a lot of stuff that fortunejack does well, all the provably fair games, all the great design, all the options they are providing and you can even see the support right here how they are helping a lot of people as well, for the past god knows how many years they have been great.

But another amazing thing about them is these promotions, honestly when it came about that you guys won't have the premier league scorer thing anymore, I felt a bit sad because it was one of the most fun games ever, and it was free as well so it was even more fun to actually play since I didn't spend anything but my time, so each week I just did my research and guessed, however when we get to learn about this new one, I realized you didn't just remove the old one, you improved on it!!
