Unfortunately, there's only one way that could happen: Track down the owner of the address (assuming it's a valid and owned address), beg them nicely to return your coins, and hope that they are honest enough to do it. Good luck!

I have 2 questions that I've tries to figure out and post here as a last resort.

1)I have been successfully CPU mining for a few days now although payout total about 70-80 GRC per day not 150 but my question is that the the number of beacons sent out each day is now up to 9. Is this what other people get?

2) I have now acquired a desktop with an XFX 7970 GPU and am trying to get that mining. I've followed the explanation given at http://gridcoinnetwork.org/gpu-mining/ and had it running for 48 hours but have yet mine anything.

This wasn't in the tutorial. Is is screwing up my mining? my GPU hasn't been tweaked and is getting only about 450K/hs

I run cpumining+gpumining and it works fine for me... Maybe you just had a streak of bad luck or perhaps your scrypt sleep % isn't very high...

Jeez, I'm sending out beacons every 26 minutes but getting nothing back from cpu mining...

I restarted my client which got rid of some pending tx's that weren't confirming and my beacons also seem to not be going out every 26 minutes anymore, so if there WAS an issue, I think it's fixed...

Did you recently do an OS re-install...? When I re-installed my OS BOINC recognized my computer as a new machine and gave it a new host ID. Log into one of your BOINC project accounts and click "computers on this account" and see if there is a second entry for the same machine. If there is then your machine has a new host ID and that host ID has never done any work for BOINC projects.

i had to reistall gridcoin.exe (7.77 version) and to reistall boinc and now my boinc avg daily credit are 0 (zero!!) why???

Do you have any GRC in your wallet? You need some so you can send the beacon. That was my problem.

I think sleep should mean your cgminer is in sleep mode and the beacon only sends once or twice a day IIRC. But yes, if your beacon doesn't send anything for a day then I would assume that you're not getting the cpumining credits.

what does leaderboard position means?

you get 10,000 with 6kh/s so you do the math
