Roma couldn't defeat Napoli in their last two head-to-head games. Of course there is a difference now as Roma have improved their performance quite much by this season. There isn't a big gap between these teams in the standings as well.
Napoli are still one step ahead by their impressive performance so far. Bookmakers also favour them by a slight odd difference. But I don't trust any side to bet on for now. Instead I'm thinking of betting on both teams to score which seems more likely to happen. If I bet on the result of this game then my choice would be a draw I guess.

Bayern Munich have an away game against Hoffenheim three days later and their opponent is not much different than Freiburg as well.
I mean that their position in the standings is also quite high which is 4th. However Bayern Munich couldn't beat Hoffenheim in this stadium for two times recently. As Hoffenheim are having a good season now Bayern Munich might not be very comfortable as much as in the Freiburg game. I just see both teams to score as the best option to go with for this one @1.45. Bayern Munich still have weaknesses in offense so Hoffenheim would be able to score at least one goal here. Bayern Munich shouldn't have much problem on scoring with the help of the momentum they got from the Freiburg game.

Real Madrid have quite a tight schedule these days. Because they are playing against Elche away after a two-day break. And their next game after this one is going to be against Sevilla by a two-day break again.
However I still think that this won't be a problem for them tonight. Elche are literally the worst team of the season so far as they are at the last position. They still have no win in the league. I don't think that they can hold Real Madrid off much in this game also. Real Madrid players must be very motivated after defeating Barcelona in Bernabeu as well. I don't expect any mistakes before a tougher game against Sevilla. They had an odd like 1.30 when I made bets so it wasn't good for a single bet of course. But I see it as a reliable choice for a multi.

The new week in the league is going to start with a Juventus - Empoli game two days later.
This is another important game for Juventus to continue improving their performance and form. They managed to defeat Torino last week but it was a very challenging game for them at the same time. Torino also had many chances but Juventus were lucky not to concede a goal. I hope they have learned their lesson from that and they will get prepared better for this game. Empoli are at a similar level with Torino in the standings now. Juventus should be able to win this and I trusted them with my bet as well.

Liverpool are playing a home game against West Ham today and this is an opportunity to maintain a winning streak at the same time.
I really liked Liverpool's performance in the Manchester City game and it made me hopeful about their recovery. But they need to continue to win to prove this. West Ham are one of the disappointing teams of the season so far. They are far away from their last season performance. However Liverpool still had better be careful because West Ham got two wins recently and didn't lose for three weeks. Maybe this could be a sign of a recovery for them as well. But despite that, I still believe in Liverpool to defeat them tonight.

Villarreal have finally put an end to their poor form by defeating Osasuna 2-0 home. Danjuma was the hero in this game by scoring both goals. These were his first goals of the season as well so Osasuna were quite unlucky about that. Actually the game wasn't one-sided for Villarreal but they still managed to get this nice win. I couldn't believe in Villarreal to win this game and preferred both teams to score for betting. I wish I bet on Villarreal.  Osasuna were just clumsy about finding the target mostly. They weren't having much difficulty in scoring on the recent weeks actually but they couldn't this time. |

Roma are one of the teams going forward on the recent weeks. They have improved their form a lot recently. We see them at the 4th position in the standings being only 4 points away from the leader. I really appreciate their pulling themselves together this much quick after having a bad time period for some time. They have scored only 13 goals in 10 games maybe but it is really magical that they still find themselves in top 4.
Roma's target is to finish the season in top 4 and they need to keep up this performance as long as possible to pull away from the teams below.

Manchester United disappointed their fans a lot as well. I was waiting for them to win even if they had a big difficulty in doing so. Because Newcastle were one of the toughest opponents of the season for them. There wasn't a big gap between them in the standings.
However I still trusted Manchester United to get another win after the win over Everton. They had really crucial opportunities in the game especially in the last minutes. But they wasted both of them which caused the game to end in a draw by 0-0. The team still can't find their rhythm in the league fully.
I was not for once angry over the kind of players used especially with the Introduction of Fred in midfied to replace Erikson, he didn't link up well with Bruno Fernandez and also with all other attacking players and winger's. After the first half, Erik Ten Hag should have substituted the Brazilian for me though and could have even brought in one of those youngins. Now getting to the second half of the match, Ten Hag made a wrong substitution, by bringing Rashford on for Cristiano Ronaldo, if you look at the game Sancho wasn't really part of it as he should have been substituted, and since Ronaldo served as a number, that through Ball from Rashford to Fread would have been converted if it was Ronaldo. Fans where expectant of a goal but that didn't come as planned. Don't you think they will either loss to Tottenham Hotspur or end up playing full time draw with the score been leveled. About the Tottenham game I think that it is going to be even more challenging for them obviously. I know that Manchester United defeated Arsenal and Liverpool in Old Trafford before. But this doesn't mean that they can do the same against Tottenham as well. After losing two points two weeks in a row they might not be able to stay strong especially in offense. There is a big improvement in their defense recently but Tottenham attackers can still be deadly for them. They need to be extra careful in defense as a result. It feels like the game might end in a draw and both teams would score. |

The last game of the week is going to be Villarreal - Osasuna today.
Bookmakers are showing it like Villarreal are the absolute favourite but I don't think that we should be so confident about that. Because their current conditions in the standings are nearly the same. Osasuna are even one point ahead of Villarreal and they both haven't been winning a league game for a few weeks. Villarreal can't even defeat Osasuna in this stadium for two times in a row. They lost 2-1 in both games I mean. We should take all of this information into account before betting on the game. My preference is both teams to score @1.89 which I see as worth giving a shot.

Verona have brought Salvatore Bocchetti to the manager position and tried a change after a terrible start. However this didn't prevent Milan from defeating them by 2-1 away. Now their losing streak has gone up to five games in the league. I can't indicate it like Milan got a comfortable win either in fact. Because they scored the winning goal in the 81st minute which was quite late. If they didn't improve their effort in the second half maybe they could have even lost two points.
Now they are still following the leader three points behind and Atalanta are right between them still. I wonder how long this nice rivalry among these three teams will go on.

PSG won the game by only 1-0 even there was still quite a lot of time after Marseille got that red card. Messi was able to play after an injury but he didn't score or make an assist. There was a Neymar - Mbappe cooperation which was interesting. Because they have had some problems between each other so far. But it is nice to see this not affecting their individual performances badly in games.
Things have been going bad for Marseille for two weeks. Two losses in two weeks isn't good at all. I can understand the one against PSG but can't as for the Ajaccio game before. They will face Lens home next time which are another tough opponent after PSG. They should prepare very well for this one to end this bad streak.

Barcelona made me really disappointed with the result they got. I was expecting them to put up a much bigger fight than this but they struggled a lot. Even their goal came in the last ten minutes. I also saw how Lewandowski wasted a huge opportunity in the first half. Something happens to him in big games like this and I hope that he gets over this as soon as possible. Because the team need him the most in especially games like this. These are important games considering the title race.

I really appreciated Liverpool about their 1-0 win over Manchester City.
I was one of the people who were expecting a clear win by Manchester City. I was very confident about Haaland to score at least one goal as well. However none of them happened. Haaland got close to doing so but he had a big obstacle like Alisson. Salah was really hard to stop for Manchester City defenders. It was obvious that he was going to score and they couldn't prevent it. This could be the win Liverpool have been searching for in the league. From now on I hope to see their rise.

Bayern Munich destroyed Freiburg very easily unlike my expectation. I thought that Freiburg would show some resistance depending on their performance so far. Bayern Munich were still seeming like a team in trouble before this game. But magically they got an insane victory like 5-0. This is really the Bayern Munich we were accustomed to see before.
However I still don't trust them about consistency. Because we saw this kind of a result from them before and they couldn't improve much after that. We will need at least a few weeks to see how things go for them. If they maintain a good form it looks like they will retain their title again.

Group F Europe League is still very competitive and unique group, of the 4 teams in this group Feyenoord, Midtjylland, Lazio and Sturm have 5 points for each team. Before matchday 4 at UEFA Europe League last Friday night all team still have the same points and now last match result all draw. All team have the same chance qualify to 32 round in left 2 match result, I think interested maybe next matchday fourth team get draw again and last matchday could be final who will qualify to next round with few points difference.
Not in my minds which one team favorite lead to next round because have the same points difficult to predict which one have chance can lead to next round although seems Lazio have bigger chance after impressive performance at domestic league but faced difficult at Europe League.
This group is really the most interesting one among all now. Normally Feyenoord and Lazio are the favourite teams of this group. But I don't see that much passion from these teams. Lazio's shocking loss against Midtjylland by 5-1 was a good proof for that. Feyenoord also couldn't defeat the same team in both games (2-2 score for both). These results have brought the group to an interesting point. Lazio seem to have focused on the Serie A fully now. Feyenoord seem more ambitious than them here but still we have the same points for all teams. I still expect these two teams to qualify for next round though. |

Reims should consider themselves lucky after getting one point anyway against Lorient. Because they played the second half with 10 players and they got another red card in the stoppage time. Something was wrong with Lorient in this game this time and they couldn't score any goal. But of course any team can have this kind of unlucky games. This still doesn't change the fact that Lorient are having a great season.
The biggest game of the week is obviously PSG - Marseille. PSG are the absolute favourite to win this game. The last time Marseille won in this stadium was in 2020. This is a really good season they are having in the league as well. But I still think that PSG wouldn't let any surprising result to happen. There is no Champions League game next week so there is no need for rotation as well. PSG would take the win.

People are talking about the possibility of Conte to join Juventus in the near future. But I don't think that such thing is happening anytime soon.
Because Tottenham are already doing wonderful in the Premier League and Champions League both. There is no reason for Conte to leave Tottenham all of a sudden. Juventus should look for other alternatives if they are really thinking of sacking Allegri soon. However I don't think that they will do it immediately. I expect the board to wait and see his performance in the Serie A as well. They are trying to fix things there but they need to be more consistent. If they finish the season badly then we would most probably see him leaving.

Ajax really deserve no more than the Europa League at the moment. I haven't seen them this much weak in even offense until the group stage. After a good start against Rangers things started to terrible for them suddenly. I was like they would compete with Napoli to take the 2nd spot in the group. But now Napoli are leading it and Ajax are a disappointment.
I know that Ajax have made important changes in their squad before the season started. But they still have solid players in the lineup and their performance in the Eredivisie hasn't changed much. It is all about the Champions League now.

Tottenham just met the expectations today and defeated Everton 2-0 comfortably. In fact the game would have been more interesting if Everton were able to make use of a couple of chances they found in the first half but they weren't able to score. Tottenham were as usual as for becoming effective in scoring goals. Kane scored another one and Hojbjerg scored one of his classic goals.
Conte's Tottenham are very determined this season. I don't know how much they will be able to keep up with Manchester City especially. But for now it seems like they will stay in the competition for many more weeks. As a person who's bored of seeing Manchester City turning the league into a farmer's league, I'd like to see some different teams fighting for the title as well.
