4041  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ad Networks that pay out in Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2020, 04:54:50 PM
is there any Ad Networks that pay out in bitcoin, I want any kinds of ads, does not really matter to me.
Yes, there are many but they usually don't have the best rates...

  • List of Advertising Networks
    - Since it's in a "self-moderated topic", make sure to do your own research before trying them.
    - I'm not vouching for anyone on that list.
4042  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinEx CET daily repurchase and burning policy better than binance? on: April 18, 2020, 03:01:51 PM
And do you think it is better than a quarterly repurchase?
Yes, their daily buyback option is better now but you didn't mention up to what limit [I'm sure there will be a limit of some sort] they'll be buying CET tokens?

They should've changed the process of burning coins as well [not necessarily on a daily basis].
4043  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoin KYC reply on: April 17, 2020, 03:12:35 AM
How they come to know about my activities? As I never mentioned during KYC. What might be their External sources?
I believe it's an automated process and most likely that's the result of an error from their side:

And what is meant by a politically exposed persons?
According to Wikipedia:

In financial regulation, a politically exposed person (PEP) is one who has been entrusted with a prominent public function. A PEP generally presents a higher risk for potential involvement in bribery and corruption by virtue of their position and the influence that they may hold. The terms politically exposed person and senior foreign political figure are often used interchangeably, particularly in international forums. Foreign official is a term for individuals deemed as government persons under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act or FCPA, and although definitions are similar to PEP, there are quite a few differences and should not be used interchangeably. The term PEP is typically used referring to customers in the financial services industry, while 'foreign official' refers to the risks of third-party relationships in all industries.

After processing nothing happened, So I contacted lbc and got this reply.
How did you respond to that PM/email?

Answer 1: We used to have both dark mode and normal mode. We realised that with some article thumbnails the dark mode was not suiting to the eye. Therefore we decided to take off dark mode. If you have anything else regarding this, such as how to counter the issue we incountered, it is more than welcome.
It appears you've already chosen a certain shade for its dark mode [looks good].

Answer 2: We are currently looking into updating the ads and rotating them through-out the website, thank you for this!
Noticed while scrolling down, ads remain in the page view up to a certain area prior to it moving up [a bit annoying].

Hello guys! We've been working hard on keeping the website updated Smiley Something new is our logo.

What do you guys think?

I can't recall the previous logo but this one looks simple & good.
4045  Economy / Services / Re: Will write articles for btc or usd on cash app 1000 words =$25 or btc equivalent on: April 17, 2020, 01:33:47 AM
Will wait awhile before bumping again. I'd say 12 hours from last bump from now on
You're in no position to create flexible rules for yourself. I literally "posted the rule" that states only a single bump is allowed in 24 hrs and yet, as a native English writer [according to DarkDays] you completely missed following that rule even after pointing you to the right direction [SMH]...

Btw, apart from the sample article in OP, what/where are some of your published articles?
4046  Economy / Services / Re: Will write articles for btc or usd on cash app on: April 16, 2020, 06:20:43 PM
Ty i did indeed take your advice. It was good advice and much appreciated.
Bump
Bump
Respect the following rules...
- Delete the excess bumps and stop bumping your thread excessively.

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]
~Snipped~
21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]

Payment expected after article is fully written and delivered via pm
Why put yourself at risk of losing your hard work for nothing?
- Always use one of the escrow providers from this forum [except me].
4047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 16, 2020, 04:28:25 PM
Great, another team to join the same route as Chelsea's and Man city's last decade...
- In other words: As an Arsenal fan, there will be little to no chance of finishing in the top 4 next season [again] Cry

How reliable that source is?
4048  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Anyone still make crypto tickers? on: April 16, 2020, 02:33:50 PM
Another interesting project...

The not so good: The backgrounds require the larger screen that they made it with, the smaller one that I used in my last build did not have the resolution so it cut off some of the screen. However, it does work fine on a larger screen:

https://i.imgur.com/BbQ2i9Bm.jpg
I think using it in a larger screen defeats its purpose and I was able to find a few other 3.5 inch screens with a resolution of 800x480 [recommended resolution for it to display everything normally] but unfortunately, I couldn't find any for your RPi 1B [still might come in handy for other builders]:
- This might not be for others that try to keep their cost low.
Take note: I'm not vouching for the following link (there are a few others on google):

Raspberry Pi 4B/3B+/3B 3.5 inch 60+FPS High-Speed 800x480 HD TFT LCD Display w/ IR

4049  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: April 16, 2020, 09:33:33 AM
I wonder if you lose activity points with that way, changing member role, do you lose your signature?  Huh
Not sure if I understood you correctly but if you meant having a Member account, then losing enough of your activity points results in demotion then you're going to have a certain signature limit based on your new rank...
- Also, certain ranks used to not get affected by this but ever since that post, I've seen a few users with those ranks getting demoted:

IIRC only Newbie, Hero, and Legendary members don't get demoted normally. Maybe I'll fix it at some point, but it's not really a big deal.
4050  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: April 16, 2020, 08:27:05 AM
~Snipped~

I don't get it. Does this mean that activity can get decreased through over time?
Normally, the answer to that is "NO" but if you only have a few posts in each activity period and all of those posts get either deleted or those threads get trashed [it'll include your posts], then you'll lose those activity points...
4051  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WEKSELL CRYPTIC EXCHANGE on: April 16, 2020, 07:02:11 AM
The first time in this exchanger, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of exchange and the quality of service !!! I recommend !!
Yeah, right! Let's see Roll Eyes

- New account [just registered]
- Posting on this thread right after creating your account
- Log-out of the forum after posting that comment

= It's quite clear you're just another shill.

@OP: Care to answer the above questions [previous posts]?
4052  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Flame.Exchange official feedback & review thread on: April 14, 2020, 11:42:20 AM
Reply with feedback, reviews, comments, or anything you want to write about Flame.Exchange Smiley
1. Choosing a different language doesn't translate the whole website, only very few words are converted...
2. Can you explain a bit further about the "security" and "low fees" parts of your exchange [apart from their descriptions]?
3. Since you mentioned "PROFESSIONAL TEAM", Can we know who are the members behind this exchange?
4053  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Alts Payment gateway on: April 14, 2020, 08:40:19 AM
I am wondering why BitPay is always excluded from suggestions.
Here's a link with the list of reasons why you should avoid BitPay: BitPay has been consistently anti-Bitcoin over the past years

But Bitpay appears in marketplace of prestashop addons... this is right...

Thx so much!!! i'll try!!
I hope you're not considering using BitPay [after reading what I just linked aboved]...
- Go with OmegaStarScream's suggestions instead.
4054  Other / Meta / Re: Sellers using SELLY and other off-site sales "stores" (in Digital Goods). on: April 13, 2020, 11:08:31 AM
Does that mean using Selly and the myriads of other similar sites is prohibited in Digital Goods?
Yes, I believe those websites belong to the prohibited category.

Is it "technically" not permitted?
To an extent.
- Not sure but I've seen a lot of these types of threads remain for at least a week or longer [I don't normally track such threads for a long time] and some might never get deleted if nobody reports them.
4055  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Should I donate the Known Alts Donation funds to Bruno's plea? on: April 13, 2020, 10:32:03 AM
Should I donate the BTC 0.019 Known Alts Donation funds to Bruno's plea?
Regardless of this only fulfilling a small portion of his final request, you should still donate it to him [IMO] since it's at least one positive way of spending those funds and I think he deserves it with the number of contributions he had for this community.
- I voted for yes but another good reason worth mentioning:

Do you think Bruno asked for donations, just to see them get wasted for ever?
How about the scenario where a friend or a lawyer turns up to his daughter's doorstep - in many years from now - with our donations?

I believe we should not contact the family, but respect Bruno's final wish instead.
4056  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Plead] Phinnaeus Gage's User Moniker Manifested Due to a Malignant Brain Tumor on: April 13, 2020, 08:25:00 AM
I never crossed path with Bruno [AFAICR] but I always heard about his contributions and for that, a big salute to Bruno for everything you've done in this community.
- RIP Cry
4057  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Anyone still make crypto tickers? on: April 13, 2020, 06:39:49 AM
So for the 1st project I used this one: https://github.com/taoteh1221/DFD_Crypto_Ticker
Thanks for this.

Follow the docs and you can be up and running with it in under 30 minutes to an hour depending on how familiar you are with burning SD cards for the OS / Linux / RPi in general.
Just to be clear: You won't be selling these, am I right?

Can you even find a case for the RPi1 with a screen anymore?
Although chances of finding a case for that is quite low, you can still use a customized 3D printed case.
4058  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Tarot card reading on: April 13, 2020, 05:34:13 AM
Edit: Just noticed that this has been moved from services to Off-topic....what the hell have I done this last week to some moderator to be moving my threads or deleting relevant replies? Altough it's not a service that has to do with BTC, it accepts BTC (and maybe some major altcoins too) as payment, so I still believe it goes in services board.....
For now, everyone please fill the form as usual, but in the event of wanting the last 4 cards prediction, you'll have to pay a fee of your choice. After all, you decide how much your future is worth.

~Snipped~

Personal/private requests are accepted via PM, but those come with a price. You decide how much you want to pay for your fortune to be told.
Not sure about your other threads but you might want to do the following before moving your own thread back to where it was originally posted [move topic button is in the lower-left corner of the page]:

  • You should choose a certain price for your readings.
  • Remove "[FREE]" word from your subject field [title].

I think you've done enough free reading works, it's time to get something back...

---
Got some time and you are first in line; so here we go!
Not sure how I should react to your post by using the right words but more than half of the stuff that you mentioned is actually my life and the other half, I have a strong feeling that it will happen [for some, I'm halfway there] and before I forget, I literally cried while reading the bottom half of my reading [those parts were quite deep for me]...

As someone that got one of your free readings, I would like to thank you [means a lot] and also vouch for your service [a lot better than I expected] Smiley
4059  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Tarot card reading on: April 12, 2020, 05:40:19 AM
Don't hesitate, it's a free service! What could go wrong?
Exactly, so here's mine...
- I wonder why only a few users have posted so far [apart from not trusting such readings].

First 10 cards selected: 2 4 7 8 10 12 14 15 20 22
Second 3 cards selected: 4 7 14
Last 3 cards selected: 2 8 22
Do you want to have the extra 4 cards read? : Y

@Csmiami: Just to be clear, we should only choose those three combination numbers/cards from our 10 chosen cards, Am I right?
- If yes, then "Maus0728's" reading isn't accurate.
4060  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: High Definition Virtual Identity (iHDVi) on: April 11, 2020, 04:36:56 AM
But i would be very happy if you share your opinion with me , What you Think !?
Still not sure about your upcoming project since you're all over the place with the way you've chosen to explain everything...
Based on my understanding, you'll be offering stuff to back up virtual identities of individuals with the help of an AI, then charge something in return. Am I right?
