3121  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] ExoCrow has plagiarized content + fake data on: January 31, 2021, 06:58:07 AM
@SFR10 ExoCrow is back with the ANN thread identical to the one they made few months ago. Funny thing, that nonsense info on the website about having more than 60,000 users is still there. As a matter of fact, all those numbers are exactly the same as they were months ago (62314 users, 135 countries served etc...)

ANN thread  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5313229.0
Archive https://archive.fo/DgjLX
Nice catch Smiley
Indeed. It's also funny how they [even though it's probably just a single person behind those accounts] ignored my last post in their first ann thread and did exactly the opposite of what I posted [creating a new account] Cheesy

Thank you for the update. I've added your quote and the necessary updates to OP.
- I've also created a "new flag" for the account that's responsible for creating their second ann thread.

I wish I had some sMerits left.
3122  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinPornDirectory.com - #1 directory of ADULT sites that accept Bitcoin -NSFW on: January 30, 2021, 03:47:04 PM
Not sure how often you go over the list and update them but you might want to add the last updated date to your list.
- I would like to also suggest adding the processor's names for each [some of them tend to limit users based on their location].

- Crypto was once the perfect solution for cam site payments, but increased transaction fees make that difficult if using BTC and buying small amounts.
IMO, it's still the perfect solution but people in general, aren't educated enough when it comes to its proper fee usage [there are various ways for lowering and dealing with fees].
3123  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: txfee.org neat bitcoin fees estimator and tx checker on: January 30, 2021, 06:11:04 AM
Added Bitcoin raw transaction broadcasting feature.

https://txfee.org/broadcast
Nice addition but does that also mean you're not going to introduce a transaction accelerator as you said before?
- You might want to consider changing its description on your website to something that's more newbie-friendly.
3124  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB virtual credit card - Fiverr on: January 29, 2021, 09:28:49 AM
anyone knows a credit card that works here?

preferably virtual, don't want to use paypal
I'm not a Fiverr user but if you're still looking for one, perhaps you can try contacting any of the mentioned names from "[BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards" in order to see if they offer virtual cards that work on Fiverr...
* Take note: DYOR before choosing one of them.
3125  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptoroo - A site to view the latest 5-min price changes for most exchanges on: January 29, 2021, 06:24:26 AM
Not sure what's causing your website to not load [it did for a sec, but as soon as I tried using the filters, everything stopped working], and now I'm getting the following error:
- It didn't even load when I used VPN [regardless of the server locations].

Quote
Error 524
A Timeout Occurred

Update:
Thanks for letting me know. The server was a bit overloaded because I was doing some maintenance and then a reboot. The main issue is that it needs a bit of an upgrade lol. It seems better now after the reboot.
You're very welcome. I would like to confirm that the reported issue is fixed now but when using the search field for a certain pair, it no longer shows any result [like it used to]...

3126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Applying for a lower member rank - read what popular managers say. on: January 28, 2021, 08:54:06 AM
PS: if other campaign managers want to share their views post below, and I’ll add them to the op.
Here's my opinion in regards to this subject [even though since coming back, I had no luck in getting hold of a single campaign [yet]]...

  • My view is more in line with Hhampuz than other managers.
    • IMO, every single member of this forum deserves to have equal amounts of opportunity when a campaign pops out [regardless of their ranks, reputations, and whatnot]. If I take away someone else's spot, that would be unfair to those that have that particular rank so personally, I prefer to keep that spot open for someone with that rank [even if it means nobody is going to occupy it for a week].
3127  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Portis wallet on: January 28, 2021, 07:04:10 AM
after creating a wallet, you can add 2fa via google authenticator.
That significantly improves its security but it doesn't make it bulletproof [perfectly secure].

They mentioned, "minimal KYC" under the "DIRECT PURCHASE" section of their homepage and only "No ID" on their FAQ page. Does anyone know what that means exactly?
- I've been searching with no luck.

DIRECT PURCHASE
No Crypto? No Problem!

Grow your app and boost conversions by accepting credit and debit cards worldwide, and give your users a familiar checkout experience when signing transactions. Users can obtain and send a variety of cryptocurrencies in minutes, with minimal KYC - no need to upload any government IDs.
How will users fund their wallet?
The average user wants to purchase a relatively small amount of crypto to use your app without having to go out of their way to fund their wallet. With Portis, US residents can purchase ETH, BTC, and DAI directly with their debit card, while the rest of the world* can purchase ETH, BTC, DAI, and XDAI using their credit card. No ID verification required! Users can also make a direct purchase where they pay the exact amount they need for a tx instead of keeping a larger amount of crypto in their wallet.
3128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 28, 2021, 05:57:44 AM
United drops point, Chelsea drops points, Leicester drops points, Everton drops point....and City drifts away to the top with one game left.
I was about to make a similar comment [with the addition of Villa and Southampton] but you beat me to it Wink

Also Arsenal has also found a momentum but won't call them solid yet
Exactly. Most of our wins have been against teams at the bottom half of the table [apart from Southampton at the time] while the upcoming test against Man U [at home], is going to show how far we've come in the last month or so [even though they just lost, I expect us struggling against them at home].

while City has found a good run with Gundogan back in their squad. Do you think City will be able to continue form till the end?
With their squad depth, I expect nothing less.

We also have Liverpool vs Spurs today. Get ready for Mourinho vs Klopp. Cool
What a week it would be if Spurs lose points as well [at least for the Gunners] Cheesy
- Unfortunately, I think they'll come out as winners.
3129  Economy / Services / Re: SIGNATURE ✅ BANNER AD ✅ ANN THREAD on: January 27, 2021, 03:26:18 PM
Thanks SFR10 for creating sig code set for Pastel.Network

~Snipped~
Thank you as well for hiring me [I wish I had more characters left so I could improve its overall appearance] and also for being the reason behind the first bump in 2 months [I've been holding back from bumping this thread unless I'm done with updating its design [which it's taking me forever]] Cheesy

To everyone else:
- Regardless of me bumping this thread or not, I'm available most of the time [don't hesitate to send me a PM].
3130  Other / Meta / Re: [BUG] Signatures aren't shown in one of Pilipinas's sub-boards on: January 27, 2021, 01:56:50 PM
According to the topic pinned at top of Others (Pilipinas), the sub-board in question was created on December 3, 2020 by Mr. Big and signatures have always been hidden there.

~Snipped~
That explains everything now, thanks for finding the answer even though you're not from the Philippines [somehow I missed that sticky thread [SMH]].
- I'll add your quote with Bttzed03's correction to OP.

/locked.
3131  Other / Meta / Re: [BUG] Signatures aren't shown in one of Pilipinas's sub-boards on: January 27, 2021, 08:35:28 AM
I can confirm that signatures do not display in the other - Philipians sub.
Thank you for the confirmation.

It looks like this particular subforum has the same settings/permissions as the Serious Discussion and Ivory Tower subs. Maybe this was used for testing before Serious Discussion was created?
The Other section is what I think the Off topic section on Pilipinas Board most provably that is the reason  why signature don't display there.
Whenever I have a client [for signatures], I always go to the last post in my inactive alt account [that happens to have its last post in that section] and view my designs from there and up until the last month or two, this wasn't the case [signatures were there].

Seems to be there admins/staff can turn it off for topics/subfora.
You're correct [not for the staff part though] but it would be nice to get a confirmation if that'll be the case from now on or it's just a bug of some sort.
3132  Other / Meta / [BUG] Signatures aren't shown in one of Pilipinas's sub-boards on: January 27, 2021, 07:41:17 AM
Earlier, I was roaming around in one of the local boards that I'm part of and noticed that signatures aren't displaying in the "Others (Pilipinas)" sub-board while that issue doesn't exist on other sub-boards of the "Pilipinas" local thread.

Update:
Quick fix on the google translate.
The following post has been translated by google.
edit: I just noticed that the signature is disabled here. Okay.
because you can talk better when you don't think that you will pay for everything you write here ...
3133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Running Validators at Home 101 on: January 26, 2021, 03:17:17 PM
1. For a newcomer, is it more feasible to become a validator than a miner to get involved in the crypto space?

~Snipped~
By "validator" you're referring to running a node, am I right? Since you're asking about two different things within a system, you might want to give us some information before we could "accurately" answer all of your questions [apart from #2]...

a) What's your motivation behind the creation of this thread [e.g. an incentive of some sort, for fun and etc...]?
b) Each one of them, comes with certain risks [what's your limit?].
c) Are you willing to invest a certain amount or you just want to start with whatever that you already have?
d) Which type of mining and node you're referring to [broad subjects]?
3134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Adult niches and BTC on: January 26, 2021, 12:13:22 PM
The webmaster I've hired to renew escort sites used woocommerce to rebuild. Since I want to make BTC accepted, which one would be the best WP plugin to use?
In addition to the above comments, I would like to suggest using "Blockonomics"...
- Here's a "blog post [it's a bit old but should be more than enough]" about it.

I would recommend BitPay
BitPay will always auto suggest for BCH. I avoid BitPay as much as I can do.
Luckily, BitPay stopped accepting adult websites for its processor Wink

3135  Economy / Exchanges / Re: paxful vendor bond on: January 26, 2021, 10:38:43 AM
How much is it?
I think it used to be like 0.1 btc when selling gift codes but i doubt that the fact now since it would be like 3400 usd
It's 0.005BTC now [at the time of writing this post, it's roughly around $160] but depending on certain cases, it could lead to a higher amount...
- Read everything from "here".
3136  Other / Meta / Re: Lots of one-liner bots on: January 26, 2021, 09:40:20 AM
Any idea why this happens?
Looks like someone has paid to have bots spam that particular coin on this forum...
- AFAIK, it's no longer as effective as it used to be [SEO] or maybe it's just one of those pump and dump situations [I could be wrong].
3137  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Portis wallet on: January 26, 2021, 02:42:05 AM
a browser-based wallet owned by shapeshift.
~Snipped~
i'm wondering how secure this would be on an iOS or PC browser.
I won't go into too many details, but that mainly depends on how secure your device is and the fact that it only requires an email and a password, it places itself in a vulnerable position.
- I wouldn't use it for a significant amount.
3138  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nicehash time delays on: January 25, 2021, 03:31:16 PM
I am going to mine, but this is generally related to just depositing funds into your account. When sending BTC, it's normally done and sent within 20 mins. Nice hash always takes an extra half hours on average since the transaction was confirmed on the blockchain. Yesterday, a transaction took over an hour. Today's transaction, it's now 12:25 and still pending even though the blockchain showed it confirmed nearly 3 hours ago.
Was your last transaction also in BTCitcoins?

I've used their services in the past [as a miner, not a buyer] and usually, it took just a couple of minutes before things reflected on my account and if your transaction has met the required amount of confirmations while only reflecting those after a few hrs, then you should probably also report it in their "subreddit page".

Deposit confirmations requirements
Every cryptocurrency deposit requires a certain number of confirmations before we can credit it to your NiceHash wallet. Confirmations serve as a proof on the blockchain network that your transaction is valid.

Here is the list of confirmations required when depositing different cryptocurrencies (or tokens) to your NiceHash wallet.

Coin / token   # of confirmations required
Bitcoin (BTC)   3
Ethereum (ETH)   30
Litecoin (LTC)   12
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)   15
ZCash (ZEC)   24
XRP (XRP)   1
Dash (DASH)   1
Stellar (XLM)   10

NiceHash can not affect the speed at which transactions are confirmed on their respective blockchains.
3139  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open source Bitcoin ATM repository on: January 25, 2021, 01:08:38 PM
Would love to hear feedback on this project.
I like its fluidity but you might want to add two more things when clicking on each:

  • Direction feature from our location to each of the BTM's...
    - I prefer using a single app/website while finding my way to a certain place.
  • Stating their fees with operation types [buy/sell].
3140  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ClankApp - Crypto whales tracker on: January 25, 2021, 10:04:55 AM
Is there a way to get rid of the internal transfers from the list?

Perhaps worth adding a filter to eliminate exchanges from this list as well...

Am I the only one that it loads extremely slow?
I didn't experience any issues with speed so it's probably from your side.
