POS of interest
Hi all, in less than 3000 blocks Evotion will have its first block reward halving from 32EVO to 16EVO per mined block.

Here some interesting Facts about Evotion:

that's it for now folks, maybe one day someone from community will step up and make fresh unofficial announcement to put all information at one place.

regards.

Sorry, but I don't get that: How is it possible to have 70% less coins than estimated if all the blocks were mined and the coins generated?
Where are the remaining coins?

There is 70% less due to people staking their coins instead of people staking and mining, it seems mining for this coin never took of but pos did hence why the supply was lower

This is a fast POS staking coin with a slower POW so once you got some coins you can stake at 22% interest rate. You get many small rewards since the block times are 20 seconds for POS but they are 2 minutes for POW.

Pow Block Time: 2 minutes - Last Pow Block: 1,576,800
Pos Block Time: 20 Seconds

Proof Of Stake Information:

Pos Starts: Block 1000
Pos Block Time: 20 Seconds

Minting Maturity: 110 Blocks

Minimum Stake Age: 2 hours
Maximum Stake Age : 5 days

Proof Of Stake Reward: 22% divided by 2 after block 500,000

Current Block: 349286
Current Coin Supply (EVO) 1529359.11840623

not random now (but any other day it would be)

In the near future (say 6 months) I'd be willing to pay some kilos for someone to educate me on the Linux.
"this whole mysterious "sudo apt-get wtf" i feel that pain, sure the 'Nux guys just roll their eyes.

but I too would love to be able to do what Knife just described, get a DigitalOcean droplet to compile whatever from github, and then just have it run.

My kinda of thread!

old coins will moon
because they have held value for +36months

ico coins just invented their value (see NXT kids for how those shake down)
fresh launch coins have thier ups ... but yet to have had their downs

includes the damn thing still works after 2-3 years test too Wink

re: What is Uno trying to be?

Short Version

1. Store of Value
(ya ya get that)
2. Crypto/Real Asset Backed DAC
... yes da whales hodlr gold, silver, btc, ltc, doge, and cash.
3. Okay maybe a commodity once that concept expands to a larger section of the cryptoshere
4. An Elite Asset (comes with being a 'commodity') ... then we get the "No teenage Daughters Allowed" Club Room for Gentlemen.
5. If the Alien Rapture Zoombie Nuclear Solar Wave Apocalyptic Eye in the Sky Ho down hasn't smithed us all ... then UNO is $money (say 2025).

*On point 2 is basically an voluntary association of seasoned crypto traders using UNO to store value earned from trading gains, and we deal only in established grade A Crypto assets (so slow but nearly certain gains / low risk) ... no ICO launch of the week crap coins.  THUS; no need to answer the "But what can I buy with it?" nag ... because you will be able to trade UNO directly for any notable coin/assset of value.

4051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dash will reach 0.02 like Etherum..? on: March 27, 2016, 02:43:24 PM
Lets stay on topic for a change shall we ? If you cant tell from reading AdamWhite's posts and viewing his posting history
that your dealing with a frustrated low level troll then there is nothing to talk about anyways...

So anyone else think Dash can reach 0.02 ? (Trying to steer this discussion back on topic)

I'll help, Qwizzie.

Dash has some pretty horrendous flaws: namely X11 and Darksend.

X11: If one chain can be attacked then the whole thing is vulnerable--you essentially load a bunch of people on a bus and hope one doesn't have a virus. I've pointed this out to Evan, as have others, but he has yet to address it. He has stated incorrectly that you just roll the chain back and get rid of the broken one--this is patently false as the broken chain can exist for some time and go unnoticed and do so much damage in that time that no roll-back can save the coin--he's essentially saying, "We can just kick the sick person off the bus and that gets rid of the contagion," meanwhile everyone on the bus is already infected.

Darksend, besides its twenty hour mix times, is flawed because of centralization and the fact that TPTB can subpoena control (or use other methods such as coercion) to gain enough nodes to break anonymity. I would suggest that Evan owns enough to break most anonymity and a fincen investigation hanging over his head would be enough to coerce him into helping the US government break dash's weak anonymity--that is if dash ever gained enough market to garner governmental interest (and that's a huge if). Cryptosystems are meant to be anti-fragile, especially against governmental pressures, and this is why well-built cryptosystems avoid centralized solutions.

These two flaws lead me to believe Evan has a very weak understanding of cryptosystems (I have just a casual interest and I understand these things, so for a developer to not know them is pretty unforgivable).

and on the market front
the BIG5 (which Dash has the #5 spot)

all need independent (from BTC) fiat markets
Dash has not show the ability to establish it's spot at the Top Tier
This means VC capital and ultra secure top level markets ... exactly the opposite of Polo and Rex ... the big leagues where investors feel comfortable with $500k in their brokers hands ... aka the establishment.

FINSEC players
BTC is it.  The big Kahunna!
ETH will get there based on the performance it has had Q1 2016.
XRP was built specifically for Top Tier finance.
LTC has a toe in the water with the CNY, China.
Doge has more exchange adoption than DASH.
And lots more have established connections with professional FINSEC players/markets.

Where is DASH?

Survival Tips

option A - BTER handles swap (bad)
option B - cryptopia handles swap (better)
option C - both (best) but how to manage coins?  who getting how many?

1. generate a whole new 'update' chain/algo/wallet  (run it in beta)
2. reduce coin count divide by 100 OR increase x10
3. announce swap date 6 weeks before it happens ... keep it open for 4 weeks
4. burn the left overs (that means Cryptsy coins get deleted .. elsewise you'll likely end up buying them from the Thief)
5. look at proof of line and flat (or max) reward per block for the new algo

anyone know why coins like FCT TIPS NEM EMC AMP EAC XVG XSI and so on have made marketcap increases from 500% to 10.000% ?
Can't speak for the others, but XSI is a Pump Scam by some Chinese Miners, as it had nothing happening and the price spiked and now the Volume is $ 18,482   on 1 Exchange.
PURE SCAM !!!

Requesting addition to some new exchanges and i'm going to look to scout out some new devs for a viable rebranding.

PM me if you would like to help or have any ideas.

Yes, I too agree that a re brand would be beneficial - Steering away from the 'PetroDollar' approach to the oil market.

An idea for a re brand: OILx

The logo is only sample quality. Do not use.

Please let me know your thoughts..

Looks great, actually!   I'm in some other projects right now, so i'll be putting it aside until after the holidays.  The rebranding is more for diverging from being pegged as an abandoned "Bryce Coin".  I'm completely fine with building on the current concept, but i'd like to scale the coin in a few different ways than Bryce had in mind.  It would be great to get a small community on board (or to just give a head nod), as i'm not sure how many people pay attention to the thread  Grin

Thanks Penny

No rebrand.  P$ is perfect.

Concept (slight adjusted):

Core Share Holders peg it to $barrel_of_oil.  (by holding real barrels of oil to back p$)

Marketing is on pause until 2017, meantime focus on pools and seednodes.
Then website.  The back to recalculate 'the Concept'.
Last push the brand, seek more exchanges.

once this gets off the ground then

could be launched as an 'asset' backed p$ community members
(whereas p$ is a 'coin')

Many hands make light work.
We need to know what kind of reality we encounter @ $5/kg.
Do we have the muscle to hold that level of capital and still maintain prices should some potatohead drop a sack.

$5 leaping to $10 likely will be one of the most effective 'advertisements' for new hands to join the ranks.  No different than the leap from $2 to $4 ... but only if the #of strong hands doubles too Wink

My short term goal is LTC:UNO 1:1

re: right NOW!

$2.50 is becoming a very solid floor, I forsee hitting $5 quick then running a $3.50-$6 channel for several months (Q2), and yes thus $5 could be a well built floor by summer, so less than year from now $10 could be the floor, and getting trading into that range before Dec is very likely.
