4041  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: October 08, 2017, 11:46:19 PM
Nobody knows  when is the best moment to buy any coin. We dont know if Bitcoin will hit the floor soon because it depends mainly on news from world.
But alwys if you find the lowest price since few days/weeks/months seems to be the best way to invest. So track the charts.

The best time to buy bitcoin is when everybody is in panic and took that opportunity to buy in the floor and sell when it's up on the sky.
Simple rule in economics but always didn't practice and sometimes forget.
Bitcoin now is on uptrend again and if you can afford to buy that price then buy but I think it's too high for now, just wait a little so you can have at least a good profit. But one thing for sure, bitcoin price now will be skyrocket.
4042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Secrets? on: October 08, 2017, 12:02:03 PM
If I had a secret of course I won't tell you. Grin
But of course there's no secret, it's all a matter of skills, knowledge and how much effort you can give here.
Just be a smart and strategic one here and all will follows from what you desire. And of course, the famous line of the traders but sometimes forget that always to buy in low and sell when everyone is greedy and don't get too attached to it.
4043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: October 08, 2017, 11:17:43 AM
It's  the thing what I like about trading cryptocurrencies. It's not consistent. Even if it's a legit project, you can never be sure that it's only way is up. Everything fluctuates so traders can take advantage the buying and selling point.
Well pump and dump are blessing in disguise for some people and a curse for some people. People often get panic due to pump and dump. Pump and dump are the real beauty of trading. Pump refers to the price increasing period of bitcoins when most of the traders make their profits while dump refers to the fall in prices of bitcoins.

Yeah the pump and dump is all natural in every currency and there's nothing to worry. When people see dumping they treat this as a another bad day in crypto but try to look the other side of this, when coins dump it just indicates that big whales are manipulating the market so it's also our time to buy coins. Just ride the boat and go with the flow so the current will bring you to the moon.
4044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: October 08, 2017, 07:58:30 AM
The problem is even a 5 year old can start an ICO scam. It cost nothing and its easy to set up, i could set up one right now and have a coin by tomorrow and some ads pop up on targeted sites, after that  me and the dev would split the total Bitcoins received from the ICO 50/50.

Crypto newbies are the ones who fall victims to this, most veterans will never invest in an ICO's or they will take extreme measure before putting one cent into it. The problems a lot of newbies think ICO's is easy money the reality they are the opposite a majority are just there to suck the BTC out of newbies. Ignorance is the reasons these ICOS keep popping by the hundreds. Roll Eyes

Well maybe China banned ICO because of this rampant fraud, as they just protecting their people in this illegal fund raising.
Yeah at first I'm actually didn't agree with China but later on as fraudulent is widespread I just understand their two cents.

Investing ICO is a great investment for short term but what's happening right now many are afraid to invest and loss their money instantly. As this ICO is like rotten tomato that mix in the fresh one's so its hard to tell what's fresh and what's not.
4045  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: October 08, 2017, 07:19:35 AM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?

You have a lonely life sir, I hope you also have friends that can rely and talk to. If you don't really trust lawyers just leave a letter in your safe box for your nephews and nieces where they can find it easily. As right now they're very young and they can't understand what these whole thing about. Well your nieces and nephews are very lucky to have you as uncle.
4046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could be heading to $6,000 by year-end on: October 07, 2017, 08:52:19 AM
I do hope it reaches $6000 by the end of year. Maybe the upcoming forks on November (Segwit2x) might hinder or just boost it in anyway. If the prices reaches a new all time high by year end we can expect a wild 1st quarter in 2018. Moreover, it's possible since most of the ICO bans, forks and FUD are being dealt with and the prices now tend to normalize on $4000-$4400 range [Price chart of September and 1st week of October].

Yeah I agree with you. But let's just hope for the best that the upcoming hardfork will definitely help the price to go uptrend. But one thing is sure that FUDS are everywhere again and greediness will happen.
Yes $6000 will not far to happen if things work in what we anticipated and nothing shows up as we're now in $4400 and the bull run continues and our first quarter of 2018 will be favoring unto us.
4047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Bitcoin fork on 25 October on: October 07, 2017, 08:29:21 AM
What will happen in BTC bitcoin market when another fork hits bitcoin, results in emerging bitcoin gold as new coin
Will price of bitcoin go down
Will new coin get popularity like bch Roll Eyes

I think as well that it will not have any impact on bitcoin.
One reason is that most people have no idea bitcoin gold is existing.
And for those who are aware of bitcoin gold, to them it's clear that somebody wants to make quick money and is trying to advertise with the brand 'bitcoin'.
I really hope that it will be a big failure for the forkers. Too many bitcoin-coins are gonna spoil the stew.

This will be absolutely be another copy cut of bitcoin and trying to be a good one but definitely end up like bitcoin cash.
And for sure there will be no impact in the price of bitcoin even they're saying they'll split. We seen this kind of show last August 1st and we see what happened so now we can be reassured that it will not directly be affecting the bitcoin community.
4048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: October 07, 2017, 05:36:48 AM
I think everyone needs to overcome the fear of losing money, because otherwise the person will never give up, so that person will get used to losing money. it's true that losing money is part of successful trading. If you treat the loss as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.

As soon as you enter in trading industry you also embraces all the things that surrounds it.
Took all the consequences behind it and risk the things that you can and one of this is losing your money. Even a good and skillful trader once lose their money but accept and move on further. So when you lose your money just think it's okay and everyone here experience that so nothing to worry.
However, if you don't want to lose money then don't do trading because it's not for people who's not a risk taker.
4049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CASH is probably DYING on: October 07, 2017, 04:41:57 AM

Many holders never realized that BCH was a flash in the pan and all for the money so they still held on to it hoping it would overtake BTC, especially when it skyrocketed to over $800. Many now leak their wounds for still keeping that shitty coin.EDA was a wasted idea. It was obvious from day one that there was a orob with BCH hashing. I also see the same thing happening to the new coin that will be birthed from the November fork.

Yeah like I don't know why there are still some that holds their coins as this is a no good coin and this is not worth it to invest and hold.
Good thing as I got mine I easily dumped it as this imitation coin will be just an accessory in my wallet. Then the money I got was used to buy more promising coins.

4051  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 06, 2017, 05:08:24 AM
May nakapagtry na ba sa app ni coins sa android na fund transfer sa ibang bank yung balance natin like BPI or BDO?

You mean dun ka magcacash out?
Ako natry ko na sa BPI and so far okay naman. Dun ako lagi nagcacashout but be sure na tama yung bank account mo dahil pag mali di mo na sya macacancel. Kapag nag cashout ka ngayon kinabukasan na ng 6pm makukuha, pero minsan mas maaga pa sa 6pm. And lastly wala naman fee kaya okay din.
4052  Economy / Economics / Re: Would using Bitcoin currently increase or decrease its value? on: October 06, 2017, 04:47:45 AM
I'm new to the Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency world, and the economics are pretty interesting.. My question is more of a large-scale economics question.

Would using Bitcoins, to purchase goods (not on this forum) or services, increase its perceived value due to wider exposure or level-out/decrease its perceived value by establishing an accepted value of it?

I hope that was clear enough. Just looking for ideas and thoughts.

Definitely it will increase because the more people spend their bitcoin it just only means that the demand is becoming higher yet the supply becomes more and more limited as well as the coin circulation also affects the market.
Well if there will be a mass awareness bitcoin price will constantly increase.
On the other hand, the price also affects by the fake news and trolling but these will be all useless as the trust and hopes that everyone is giving and eventually bitcoin price will recover.
4053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 7000 HOT OCTOBER on: October 06, 2017, 04:23:29 AM
In the best case scenario i still can't agree with you on your current prediction. Bitcoin to $7000 this month is just absurd and your prediction this time is probably end up something similar to your last prediction(complete fail).

The price could rise up to around $5500 before bouncing back, but $7000 per coin is just unjustified, at least IMO.

It could happen, but chances are quite low.

I can say that $7000 this October is quite impossible. If we reach the benchmark of at least $5500 then we can speculate this. But with what's the current price now, its hard to reach that as the price is quite stable.
Well these are all speculations and bitcoin is indeed unpredictable and full of surprises, maybe one day bitcoin price will pump hard and nobody's ready for this.  Cool
4054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I be a hodler or day trader? Give me some advice! on: October 06, 2017, 03:12:06 AM
For day trading, watch new developments and be one of the first to buy in.
For holding buy serious coins with a real purpose or great technology.

I think both are profitable like it depends on your perspective and preference.
When you day trade you'll have just a small but a sure profit while in holding the return of your investment is too long but definitely worth the wait. So just choose how do you want your profit goes to you.

4055  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano Ang Pwedeng Maging Epekto Pagmadami Ng Nakaalam ng Furom Na Eto on: October 06, 2017, 02:52:16 AM

4056  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn monthly income with Bitcoin/Altcoin trading?? on: October 06, 2017, 02:15:22 AM
How to earn monthly income with Bitcoin/Altcoin trading with small capital like 0.1 BTC??? Is it possible to earn good income with 0.1BTC??

Do not expect too much from that amount. You can scalp the market but you will only earn small amounts. You can grow that capital little  by little. Once you have half a bitcoin, you can earn better. Also, experience is a great factor if you will or will not earn from trading.

Well 0.1 btc is a good start but you'll have to wait or hold your coins that you'll buy for long term.
Or if you're lucky enough that you choose a good coin and you do scalp trading then you can have a good profit by then. You can also consult your friends if they're well experienced here so they can advise you what are do's and don'ts.
4057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you planning till November Harfork?? on: October 06, 2017, 01:50:40 AM
I just do nothing.
Just HODL it and wait for the drama to get over. This is the best way not to lose your money.
Sure there's a lot of trolling and fuds that will happen so don't get easily swayed.

Thats a sure thing brother.
What happened last August will happen again this time like many are anticipating that.
So better not to panic, stay calm and just hold your coins. There's also another airdrop that will happen, there will be a bitcoin gold thing that will came from the hardfork so if you want to receive some better not to sell your bitcoin now and accumulate more.
4058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a bubble on: October 03, 2017, 01:31:36 PM
If someone thinks bitcoin is a bubble, then he can simply not use it. Nobody forcibly forces you to buy bitcoins and earn with him. I think it's useless to prove something to those who do not believe in it.

And he can just donate all his bitcoin to us. Grin
Trusting bitcoin is enough to stay in the game and if you don't believe and thinking that this is all a bubble is insane.
And the one who told in CNBC is just trolling and making fuds to create a commotion in the community so many will panic sell. And I can say that they didn't succeed with their evil plans. Nice try though. Grin
4059  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term investment on: October 03, 2017, 12:52:59 PM
Best short term investment right now is USD untill this china thing blows over
The USD is not an investment, cash is just a way to invest, besides if you had held 1000 dollars in the last years those dollars will buy a lot less now than back then, if you used those 1000 dollars to buy bitcoin years ago you will be rich now, do you see the difference?

Absolutely right.
Fiat will depreciate and can loss it's value over time but unlike bitcoin that the value is increasing constantly.
And its volatility makes more people to invest and it gives them these chills and thrills up to their bones.
While on the other hand, yes bitcoin can be a short term investment but it'll not give you a satisfaction that you're hoping to get.
4060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 03, 2017, 11:47:38 AM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

with closing my computer and going out Smiley

Haha nice one dude! That's cool though. Grin
Well yeah this is also a way to deal with our loss and call it a day.
While I'm dealing with my loss I just get my comfort food and eat them all until I get better.
And telling myself that it's usual and everyone are experiencing that as so I'm still a normal person.
And tomorrow will be another day.
