4041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: October 30, 2019, 06:46:00 PM
For almost 4 years has been involving in Cryptocurrency, one thing that still I am embracing this technology is all about monetary gain and benefits that give to me. I believed in Crypto that to become number one in the mainstream, not just a main digital currency but the usage of this and the technology's behind. I had a strong feeling that it will boost our economic growth and give a good life to those who are accepted. Nevertheless, it will long last until the end.
4042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont break rules while trading on: October 30, 2019, 06:11:10 PM
I follow some rules. Am not sure if they will work you for everyone but these are the basics.
1. Keep it simple. Once I tried to gather as much info before start trading. Many indicators, many news, vast analysis made me paralyzed to trade.
2. Avoid crypto trading on weekend and Friday too. Instead enjoy the holidays.
3. Never do Revenge trading, you will only trade whenever you have proper mindset.
4. Never love any asset, emotional trading will kill your investment.

Consider those tips as free gift, not financial advice. Always do your own research
^ These are simple advises but the fact is very meaningful. In trading, you should know about the basics before digging into difficulties just like technical analysis. That is also right that doesn't spend too much on trading or doesn't focus too much. Too much emotion will let you down in trading and probably make loses. That's why there is self-control and we should know which point we limit our selves in trading. Nevertheless. holding is the best option than trading.IMO

More importantly read their terms and condition which will be skipped by 99.999% people while signing up. Grin
Well, this is very important even though not in a gambling site. All stated by OP has a good point and that was true. You should know this stuff once you are a gambler. Not just you are a good gambler but when it comes to your self you can perfectly managing on it.
OP, can you add "the time they will spend in gambling". I believed that the more time you have been spent in gambling the more chances of losses.
Isnt always the case because you can lose up bigtime even on short time depending on what you do play and the amount you do able to risk on each bet.

Reading up terms and condition is one of the most common mistake.People or player do violate something and when they got blocked they do whine and say
the site is scam.
Exactly they will come up with a story for their loss and will say they freezed funds for no reason but on most cases they may violated their terms with or without his knowledge for that reading their TOS is important and the time spend also can be a factor not only associated with the funds losing or winning but they are doing something for very long time which could be called as addiction.
^ Both of you are right, but 99% sure most gamblers did not read the TOS before depositing their fund. Even me, usually the FAQ is easy to summarize all your queries and concern. Reading 1-2 pages of TOS is kinda wasting of time, the first place to go is FAQ. Nevertheless, OP has a great tip and not just only for newbies there are also people did not know this tip yet. Knowing the rules and regulations from the gambling site will avoid you from possible trouble in the future.
4044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 3 on: October 30, 2019, 05:05:23 PM
I enjoy it too an eye opener of what gambling can bring to anyone and how we could response if such events happen. It is indeed better than the gambling tips to minimize lose or how to win and not be addicted. We can exercise our mind and our character on what we are actually be doing when we receive the money, some might do reverse psychology of what they posted here in the real life if ever it happens since me I'm not sure if I will return it, if no one ask me to return it, I'll definitely use it and share with others.
^ That is the smart decision if no one will ask or claim you to return the fund that was accidentally transferred in your account is definitely good to take as good. I can't imagine also how could I use or spent if I have huge money and I know that is not mine. Just kinda shady behavior but you have nothing to do is accept and use the money in a good way. Nevertheless, I am thinking about the conscience you will feel after taking the money and leave. Fasten your heartbeat probably.

Good luck to all the participants of the Halloween Contest!
^ That is good you are near, just a little more to rolling dice you almost there. I had received an email yesterday while I am on travel about this contest. Good to see the prize and quite high and it was very tempted to join. So sad I don't have enough time in competing with those previous winners and I know it's them to defeat. Sharing my thought and have a nice day Windice team and staff and also wanna say, Good luck participants.
4046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 3 on: October 29, 2019, 03:39:01 PM
Maybe donate the funds to

and I'll just let you guys deal with it if they were able to trace me  Grin
^ Nice one, we are on the same side. There are poor people who might need help for the fund that accidentally transferred to your wallet and probably no one will trace you because in crypto we can hide whatever we want. I will split into 25%-75%. The biggest part is on charity and the smallest one is for me I will gamble on the same site but in another account, not the one who receives the jackpot. Nevertheless, I respect those honest thoughts but I don't know in actual they can do that. We all need money, we will eat greediness as long as we can buy something to eat on the table.

Finally, "invest what you can afford to lose"... this's the most important of them all.
^ These magic words are very common in trading. Invest that you can afford to lose is good advice as well. It means not the daily needs you are going to invest in. OP has shown good advice but I noticed that it is a lack of tips there are too many not to mention and need to have improvement. Nevertheless, if you are a trader just research your own and dont rely upon others. Reading here in the forum will bring good benefits if you want to trade and gain knowledge.

1. Do not deposit anything, before your account is not fully verified. Because any bookie will accept your bet without verifying your account, but if you win and request a withdrawal, they will refuse and ask you for verification. You might not pass it for a lot of reasons, like bettors from your country are not allowed to use that bookie, or the documents provided by you are not acceptable e.t.c...
^ Most users will never read the Terms and Conditions or even the FAQ that's why others end up on this scenario. Well, that is a good tip of you OP and good to see there is a thread like this that makes gamblers to be warned if they do not already know the consequences happen ahead of them. Spending an hour to have a good research before you are going to deposit is worth it, rather than you fall into scam gambling sites. Nevertheless, the most important before you going to gambling is self-control not to become a gambling addiction.
4049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie Trading Question? on: October 28, 2019, 06:21:48 PM
Because you are worrying in just a short period of time. Bitcoin investment isn't like that. You should patiently wait until you can see that your profit was there and this is good for the long period of time holding your bitcoin. I don't know what you are afraid of selling when the price is high. For me, when I saw my profit was there I will immediately cut it off and reinvest again when the price of bitcoin falling down again from the bullish period.
4050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: October 28, 2019, 05:44:33 PM
Honestly, I don't even know all these celebrities. And to his surprise again, it turns out that there are gamblers from celebrities who are aggressive in playing gambling. Are only 4 celebrities mentioned @OP who play gambling?

Some of the names even I am not aware and some of them dint heard or did not know to be precise that they were aggressive gamblers but yes it’s their life and they have money to play and even if they lose it would not make much of a difference to them .
^ If you had been researched in google there are too many celebrities that aggressively in gambling not just by OP provided. I understand them, they are the same as us and want to have entertainment after their work or just after making a film. Yes, they had a lot of money because they are celebrities and they can afford whatever they want. This is meant that whatever in our life status gambling still there and gives us something's broke our boringness.
4051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling risk is higher when we are on Bear Market? on: October 28, 2019, 05:03:49 PM

If we talk about value fluctuation, of course it's a bigger risk to use crypto then real money when betting. If you want to stay at the same  value you need to trade or hodl while we are in this type of the market (bear), and not to lose a lot due to value changes.
^ If you have 1 bitcoin on your gambling wallet and when the price is suddenly dropped that is still the same quantity, 1 bitcoin. You lose in value if you are going to convert it into fiat. Yes, it has a fluctuation but it is still the same amount of what you had held in your wallet. Probably John was in a hurry to covert his bitcoin into fiat, and the only solution to cover the loss is to gamble and hoping he going to double what he holding and aiming to gain.
4052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 28, 2019, 04:30:21 PM
For me, it still depends on the person and what discipline he/she has done. But in my perspective, I have control myself to not bet too much and don't catch my losses. Having budget money which I can use to bet and if that money is gone/ lose in the game, I will stop. Also, I stop not only on losing but also in winning when I get my profit range. I quit ( but this method is still depending on what luck I have on that day). Smiley
^ In general that is all about self-discipline. We as human beings we should have on that discipline not only gambling but in all aspects of your daily activities/habits. Gambling needs a self-moderated, which is very important there and you should always remember how risky it is.
You should set a limit on which point you should stop no matter if you lose or win. And yet, that is very helpful to the gamblers not to turn into a negative side which is an addiction and which is more worst if you had a miserable life through your addiction in gambling. Nevertheless, that was very sad.
4053  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more bitcoin dump ? on: October 25, 2019, 03:42:02 PM

They forget where Bitcoin was not 2 years ago, not 3 years ago, and as you point out, even 6 months ago. And when price does in the desired direction, no one questions manipulation, or how unsustainable it can be, how it's too fast, with not enough fundamental backing it up.
^ Let me continue this. It was 10 years from now. Bitcoin still alive and the long years come it becomes expensive price in the market so it means there was already a massive adoption happen and we are now on the mainstream. I believed that after this price decreasing there should be another ATH coming and maybe $7k is a good start to pump up again. Nevertheless, it is hard to predict what will happen next so better to relax sometimes.
4054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING TOOLS? useful/useless on: October 25, 2019, 03:24:35 PM
That will depend on you because we had a different perspective. Trading tools for me are very useful, coin tracker and I am using blockfolio app and trading tools just like an automated trading bot. I used Gunbot and it works fine for me. If you are good at technical, fundamental or what so ever analysis wou will know these tools may a great help for you. Probably you need to study very well first before in trading because it needs more knowledge to understand the crypto market.
4055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: October 25, 2019, 01:26:44 PM
Dirty money in gambling yes true every money you've get in gambling are called dirty money. Because some gambling are illegal.
Gambling is not good also to us because its cause addicted.
I don't think gambling money is dirty Because no one is forcing you money in gambling. Everyone willingly gambles. And those who are addicted to gambling are different. Because they are so addicted to gambling that they sell their property.
^ Nah, that is not dirty because you are not committing a crime to anyone. Gambling is considered to those people who addicted as a source of income and I did not see any reason that it is to become dirty money. That is now a case to case basis if gambling is illegal in your place then, the profit you've made is dirty money but if all went legalized there's nothing wrong and that is not be called dirty money. We accept the fact that now gambling is a part of game that usually people gamble in just for fun.

But there is another addiction I struggle to manage: crypto addiction. I can't stand a day without checking prices, news and this forum as well. Might it become harmful in your opinions?
^ You are not alone here, every one of us is in crypto addicted not just only by gambling. Yes, might it harmful to us if we follow our emotions when we see the price drop and do panic selling. Nevertheless, I will not tolerate my self to become addict to those both addiction gambling and cigarette addictions. Always put in our mind the probable cause and the consequences that may happen. Be responsible enough at your self and you should know your limitations.
4057  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: October 24, 2019, 04:25:02 PM
This question is timely.

You're somehow right but the merchant integration of cryptocurrency payment system was not the main thing hindering crypto from been use as mainstream of payment cause liquidity, scalability and mostly genuine government support are things affecting crypto mainstream use.
Add also its volatility. Like what I've said about it being timely, they find it difficult to adopt it for merchants because they see the price has been fluctuating. It's a possible reason too that many of them doesn't know that there are third-party services that convert the bitcoin that shall be received as payment to them into USD/fiat money.
^ Probably that is one reason just because of fluctuation but for me, Bitcoin adoption now is on mainstream even though some countries they are banning bitcoin but the are small compared to the majority who already adopted. Mainstream means worldwide mass adoption and I think we are now on that current situation. There are many types of payment processors who accept bitcoin by converting fiat and in different trading exchanges. Nevertheless, Bitcoin still needs more people to adopt.
4058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 24, 2019, 03:49:34 PM
There are too many ways but all of them are at high risk. You can join in bitcoin doubler in a group of people, but always remember that it is very risky when that site you had been joining is automatically shutdown without knowing you and all your investments were gone. Next is investing in an online casino, also contains risk and the last is a gambler. Gamble your Bitcoin will also have a high chance to double or probably lose it all, it is also very risky. I will suggest to HOLD your bitcoin until the prize pump up and your bitcoin amount will still the same.
4059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF]Part 2 on: October 24, 2019, 03:29:42 PM

Of course yes I will still play because the game must go on just like the life must go on. You must not stop playing or gambling just because you missed the big chance of your life to become rich. All of the people who encounter this kind of scenario simply becomes sad because that would be a good chance to change their life but just play maybe that is not your time yet then you must go on and play until you win and your time comes.
^ Definitely right. You should understand that it is a part of gambling, win or lose life must go on and don't regret because that is not your last chance. There are too many opportunities that will come and not just only one mistake will stop your gambling activities. There's nothing you can do if you are almost there to get the prize. Maybe at this time, this is not yours, try to come back in another day and hoping again to have a jackpot prize that you have missed before.
4060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 24, 2019, 03:01:25 PM
When it comes to a financial situation I believed gambling is more than worst than cigar addiction. You can't use even 1 pack of cigar a day with a small cost but when in gambling even your 1-year savings can be lost if you are in gambling addiction. But in health, a cigar addiction is very worst even there is an image shown that may cause possible decease still cigar addicted may use. Nevertheless, I will not choose among of them. They are toxic of our lives, instead of using with a minimum limit and you will be fine.
