4041  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: December 16, 2021, 07:03:05 PM
Experience is the most reliable teacher Cheesy
I was like you at first and it was very difficult to buy and even sell my coins when there was a correction like now.
but as time went on I realized more and more and learned that this kind of thing is a mistake and started trying to be the opposite of it all and it actually worked.
Now I feel that hodl is the best and one other thing is to buy more assets when we have more unused money
People always panic about changing market trends when FUD happens. If you managed to survive without selling anything during FUD then you have successfully passed the challenge. Because panic will be very difficult to control for those who are very concerned with estimating their assets in a fiat manner.

Bitcoin promises decent returns in the long term, quite a lot of people have earned it and their experience has to be the best lesson for us right now. It's not about getting rich overnight, but we need the process and sacrifices to achieve the goals we dream of.
logically they would be like that because indeed they still see and refer to fiat as you said but indeed if things like this continue to happen without any change in our attitude of course we will only be at a loss.
with the experience in the past and the many advantages with a discount now they should be able to see all the advantages that are in this bitcoin.

it's true this is about the process and we can't expect wealth to come only with an instant process
Wealth gained in an instant is the same as luck, because in truth the business is built slowly and we enjoy the process. while luck certainly will not be obtained continuously, therefore many traders get rich suddenly and fall in an instant too. The advantages that exist in bitcoin will continue to grow and the changing times will answer the next government steps
basically what is obtained with an instant thing will all be gone instantly too Cheesy And maybe as you said, it is a thing in the name of luck.
On the other hand, the process is vital here because if you look at everything and not just in trade, you all need something called a process, not just relying on luck and something instant.

I also experienced it, like I won a small amount in the lottery, which I only spent on a day and I don't know what happened. Mostly, this is because we are just too happy and we are always thinking of spending it. Most of my friends that won money from gambling said that it is just a short period of time. They are still saying that my winnings in gambling are really fast gone, unlike if we are working and earning wages, it takes days or weeks before we can spend it.
4042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2021, 06:52:24 PM
So there will be no SQ in the grand finals tomorrow! Well, I don't know what team I will watch tomorrow. The 4 slots are filled by Fury, TSM, KX, and Pero. European teams and Asian teams I am not kinda excited about tomorrow, but I think I would be supporting Gen G here or in NH, but still my decision is not that 100% sure. I don't think it is best to bet right now. I still want to see their performance again. It is not the same as before that Gen G really showed up and I would say "sure win," but now I don't know what happened. Also, SQ is not in the line, so I really don't know.
4043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: December 16, 2021, 01:26:36 PM
Risk-free fights is a very conventional concept.

What does no risk mean?  In gambling, the probability of winning is always positively correlated with risk.  The greater the risk, the higher the probability of winning.  Otherwise it can not be!  If this were not the case, all players would be betting on risk-free fights .  This is similar to the concept of a grail or perpetual motion machine.

In my opinion, it is pointless to place bets on the outcome of sports without insider knowledge or serious analytics.  It is a trap.  Loss of money

There are no completely risk-free bets, but there are fights where the favorite is clear at once, so the risks when betting on it are significantly reduced. The recent Lomachenko vs Commey fight was a low-risk fight for those who wanted to bet on the Ukrainian boxer and many people who knew that increased their deposits. But as you have noticed the lower the risks the lower the possibility of winning. In this case this rule was reflected in the odds of 1.15.

Agree, but still has a risk. We don't know what will happen. Like you are expecting that the other team will win 100% since the other team is the underdog, but it turns out that the underdog teams win the game. It still has a risk. Anything is possible in gambling. If you have luck, you will also win a large amount of money. We usually see this in the bets that if you bet on an underdog team, you will make more money than those teams that are the choice of many.
4044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: December 16, 2021, 04:27:28 AM
Bitcoin have a secured protocol and unbreakable security.from the start and at the present day . They did not do any type of scam's and the most important it is decentralized . And not under control of any governance. Do that make it more trustable.
you are right, that bitcoin is famous for its decentralization and is not under anyone's control so that no one regulates it for the benefit of individuals or institutions. bitcoin moves because trading transactions have taken place in real terms and its security so far no one has been able to crack or even intervene. so it is natural that bitcoin until now is having a very high trust and no one is afraid to invest at any time.

As you can see, the price continues to fall, which means that many investors/holders are crying because the price is falling. If they truly believed in bitcoin, they would not be crying right now. Instead, they would sit back and do nothing because they are confident that the price will rise. It does not mean that if you have a high level of trust in bitcoin, you will invest right away; you will need to do some research to determine when the best time to invest is.
4045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know the Cards game..lucky nine, pusoy and tong its on: December 16, 2021, 03:23:58 AM
Tongits are really well known card games in our country, well, almost all of the card games, and usually this would be played at a funeral. This is kind of a tradition so that people would be awake while waiting the next morning. Despite it being really popular here in our country, I still don't know how to play it since I am not really interested in card games since it seems difficult for me to learn and very time-consuming. Lucky 9 is a fast-paced card game, which I do like the most, but your money will also fast-pace away.
4046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2021, 02:17:38 AM
Just a quick update from PGC 2021. These are the participating teams that will be ready for the grand finals, getting the winner-winner chicken dinner this coming December 16–18. There are still 4 slots left in the grand finals, in which the grand survival would happen on 16 of which 4 games and 4 teams would go to the finals afterwards. Still no SQ, but Gen G is in the grand finals already, hoping that in grand survival the SQ will win and take a place in the grand finals.

4047  Economy / Economics / Re: Did you realize in real life how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom? on: December 16, 2021, 02:05:02 AM
when opening a savings at a bank, the first thing is asked or requirement by the officer is the resident card (ID) and other personal files that mandatory be completed, there is no freedom in financial that offered from the beginning. This is very different from the way Bitcoin work, which are more privacy and anonymity, Fortunately in my country use, withdrawal and transfer of funds is always the privacy of the user, the bank has no right to ask and deny this service.

I agree with this, but this is their rules and regulations, unlike with bitcoin. As long as you create a wallet, then you are good to go. But still, if we are converting bitcoin into our currency, we still need to go through banks or other services to get our money since there is still no escape. But the problem with this is that if you don't have the requirements, then you ca open a bank account. But based on the fact that bitcoin gives us financial freedom, it also helps with our daily needs.
4048  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 50% of the college Class of 2020 had full-time jobs 6 months post grad on: December 15, 2021, 12:08:09 PM
It would also be interested to know how the people who did not attend college fared. There is a lot of questioning on the real value of college and university education as it is , AFAIK, a free market in the USA and therefore by mere economic theory it will tend to reach a point in which the investment in time, money , effort would tend to an equilibrium with the benefits of such education (nicer jobs, better pay, better lifetime value). Did people looking for job without any degree do any better?

When the pandemic hits, I noticed that a lot of people are applying online (usually VA and developers, these people learn their skills online, most of the programmers I know don't have degrees, but when compared to those who graduated, they are more skilled). I don't have a degree, but I'm not saying I'm not competent; however, when compared to them, I have a slight advantage. When a pandemic strikes, people become bored, so they learn new skills and apply for jobs after a year.
4049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: December 15, 2021, 04:50:54 AM
I actually did not know that getting birthday presents from online betting companies or casinos was a thing. Do we have a list of companies or websites that do this? How much do they usually give you? Going from a perspective of anti-scam I think you would probably need to do KYC if anything, otherwise anyone could make new accounts and claim these prizes. So far I have not gotten anything :/
it's a form of fun promotion for active gamblers ,I once got a birthday gift in the form of free spins I forgot on where exactly but I didn't get many wins ! not everyone gets a special gift like that and almost rarely happens when it comes to birthday gifts depending on the kindness of the host usually receive via email to claim it

Agreed, and that type of casino is extremely grateful to their customers because it is their way of giving back to them. It doesn't matter how small or large the gifts are, what matters is that they are given to you in the form of free tickets or spins. Not all websites give gifts; some simply don't care about their customers. Gamblers will greatly appreciate it if all gambling websites make an effort to provide something similar. I hope that all gambling websites make an effort to provide something similar.
4050  Economy / Economics / Re: This what poor people need on: December 15, 2021, 02:28:38 AM
This what poor people need:
Is poor people fund managets who grow up their capital and reinvest this money for example in IPO on stock market and creating crypto projects to be listed later on exchangers 10x profit at least.
Also fund manager can use this capital to pump up the markets but first b4 pump the poor investors will know first.

It need be some mutual funds trust kind of thing also with insurance as rich bastards have.

All you need to do is copy paste the rich bastards and poor people get same results.

Also need teamwork and wealthy mindset but here is problem if u not with networking making connections and doing ur finances the way how it should be then u cant get wealthy.

So this one is suitable for ghetto people come together invest ur dope money in markets get few good traders and fund managers usually they have good inside info btw anyone who have learned about finances and corporate investment have some pretty decent inside info.

If u guys need more directions how to organize this proper way then ask.

Its time wake up and doing wealth without crime or working bs jobs such us construction or mc donalds.
Time imvest and manage ur wealth proper ways

Aside from this not making much sense, people who lack sufficient addition funding outside of living costs is non existent.  Most people who are poor don't have the money to invest.  It's a vicious circle that doesn't break without hard work and a lot of sacrifices.  It's not that they are poor cause they aren't investing their money.

Agreed, and who is the individual who does not wish to make an investment? I'm talking about all of us; if we have any spare cash, why not put it as an investment? Like myself, if I had extra money, I would put it into investments, but for the majority of people, their money is only enough to cover their basic needs and nothing else. It is extremely difficult because the vast majority of the rich are getting richer while the vast majority of the poor are getting poorer.
4051  Economy / Economics / Re: There are many online jobs out there. Crypto Opportunity. on: December 14, 2021, 05:58:45 PM
There are a lot more jobs on internet for crypto users as well as for those who are having any of their skills related to internet.
They can only need to find through a proper way to get real money

Because there are numerous competitions at the moment, it is not as simple as you suggest it would be. We are aware that there are a large number of people who have lost their jobs and are looking for new ones, and many of them are applying online. Additionally, cryptocurrency is becoming increasingly popular due to the NFT, as opposed to a few years ago. You must have exceptional abilities in order to make the best and get hired. However, this is true if we are talking about finding a job. However, if we are talking about investing, you will need money and some sort of research before investing in projects.
4052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: December 14, 2021, 02:11:07 PM
I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of this website has KYC. Well, I don't believe I've received any gifts from my previous gambling website, only emails wishing me a happy birthday. But, wow, that's fantastic news; it's a free bet, a free ticket, or even free money. Normally, there are only a few gambling websites that do this, but I believe that those who do so show genuine appreciation to their customers as a way of saying thank you for the money you have deposited on their website.
4053  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: December 14, 2021, 05:34:36 AM
Prices for fuel right now are getting lower. Here in the country, it is getting lower, but I think after a rollback, another big rise will occur soon. The reason why the price is rising this month is the shortage of fuel since the pandemic has lessened and the economy is opening. That's why the demand for fuel is getting higher but the production is still like in a pandemic situation. I am hoping that it will lower and stabilize since the price is too high and not very affordable right now. People right now do not have a lot of spare money.
4054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Machine Learning truly predict Bitcoin's price? on: December 14, 2021, 03:24:37 AM
This is like an EA in trading, where they are using a bot, but the only problem is that it is a program. My opinion with this is that this AI was also programmed to check the history. This is mostly the strategy with this and also the probability that it would happen again. Also, the candle patterns and technical analysis that a trader would use and calculate the probability that it would happen, but still it is not 100% that would predict the price.
4055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot Machine Strategy? on: December 14, 2021, 03:10:05 AM
The problem is that each spin is completely independent of each other and even when someone has lost big,the machine can continue to provide losing spins for another long period before it is going to give back some of that money to other players.I only saw this happened once, one big player lost 20000 USD and when the other entered after he got away he bet 0.10 USD and won 1000 USD but that happened only once and I never saw it happening again,so this happens pretty rarely at 0.01% of the cases I would say.

That makes sense and I'm sure some gamblers are already aware of that. It's just that, they need to make it right at the right time where that machine will suppose to give a win on who's sitting during that time. It's really tough but that's how playing slots machine is supposed to be.

Since no strategy in-game can be applied, others will try to beat the machine's code and algorithm instead. Of course, can only be applied on slots machines at physical casinos as no way they can do it in online casinos.

I just accept the fact that there is no strategy when it comes to this game, which is based on luck. Don't know why people still insist on finding the best strategy where you can only get a headache if you are trying to make some sense with this game. Because there's really no mathematical formula on this. Just enjoy your game and don't think too hard.

I agree, but I think there are still people finding ways to make a strategy here. Usually their strategy is about probabilities, and most of them are mathematicians, which I find amazing. They are really working hard to make their own strategy. We ca understand them and we are saying that they are just wasting their time since slots are purely luck, but they still continue. We may not understand them, but we should also respect them because it is their choice. But as for me, it is really pure luck and I don't have a strategy.
4056  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 50% of the college Class of 2020 had full-time jobs 6 months post grad on: December 13, 2021, 05:25:05 PM
Imagine, a hegemonic country such as the US is suffering from 50% youth unemployment rate- what more developing and underdeveloped countries?

The rise of COVID definitely affected the employment opportunities of the youth considering that 2020 was the year that the pandemic started. A few months after its outburst, businesses and universities were not able to adapt and provide alternative methods quickly (compared now where everything is virtual). Not to mention, even if they adapted methods, its effectivity is not that ideal due to the difference between learning virtually vs physically.

Strongly agree to this. This is the year of pandemic and there are a lot of business closed and lot of employees got fired , the demand of job lowers so you cant really expect that there are a lot of hiring on that time, also the competitions is a lot since there are more job hunters than jobs. Also there are employers that the graduates on that time is not really fitted since they are not going to school physically and doing the actual test or trainings that needs to be done in school
4057  Economy / Economics / Re: Transforming skill to profit. on: December 13, 2021, 12:38:31 PM
Skills are something that you can do. It is your ability to do a job or task in order to earn. It will be your driving force towards your success in life. Along with continuous learning and acquiring knowledge, you can continue to develop your skills and abilities towards your goal in life. Like in crypto, if you have trading skills, it will be easy for you to earn money through trading. And for continues learning, your ability and skills in tradingwill also increase.
Thanks for defining skill for me, I was worried that I don't exactly know the meaning behind it and that it's significance to the topic, but for real though, why would you post that in a thread that obviously doesn't ask what the definition of skill is but I digress, I think that not all skill should be profitable, some just needs to be fun and helpful to you to a certain, of course profit is helpful but there's more to human than just making money, I don't have any good skill developed yet that I can make money off but a little patience and I will someday be able to reap the profits of hardwork in focusing in learning those skills.
your statement as I experience now, I do not have sufficient skills, especially in the world of trading, but I am enthusiastic to learn and continue to learn, although until now I have not been able to make satisfactory money, but it is patience that makes me believe that in the future I will get results from this learning process, because I think knowledge investment is also important

Agreed, I believe I saw a post on a social media platform that said there are two HR departments, one that wants to hire a degree holder but is somewhat rude, and the other that wants to hire an employee based on their patience, willingness to learn, and overall respect for you. The conclusion is that no matter how advanced your education is, it is useless if you are rude. It's as if your perseverance and hard work could make you wealthy.
4058  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe good time to loan money to invest in crypto on: December 13, 2021, 06:32:25 AM
And remember life doesn't always go according to plan. there must always be thorough preparation for the worst. what's more about the loan if you can't pay the bills, there are many consequences that must be faced. from paying fines or even getting into court. think carefully.

You have a point.  The problem really is we always thinking of the profit and we cant imagine if it will be a loss. As an investors you should always think first your losses than profit since if you lose then you dont have a plan then youll end up 0 profit and also your money will be gone. Imagine taking a big loan to invest into crypto what is your plan if all of that money is gone ? How can you pay the loan? if you cant pay it if the money is gone then that is not the right choice. Crpyto is really risky.
4059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: December 13, 2021, 02:59:29 AM
Do you have any favorite superstitions when trading crypto
like for example if you get off the bed on the right side of the bed, your coins won't dump
wearing this color shirt keeps your portfolio in the green

Some may say it is hilarious but it is a belief to others. As my self I do have a superstition in my life but in trading I don't have one . Praying is one of the pre-trading things I would truly done before taking a trade , it could help a lot , it could improve your confidence in placing trades. Wether you have and don't have superstitions as long as we appreciate one other with their pre-game rituals then it is good.
4060  Economy / Economics / Re: I think most people still trust the USD more than Bitcoin on: December 13, 2021, 02:46:55 AM
bitcoin is still too early to be trusted by many people, just look at how people around us still depend on fiat and dollars to transact

maybe in the next few years when the adoption of crypto is visible, the people's trust in fiat and the dollar will disappear instantly

Agree to this same as my self since USD is really established few centuries back and that is really the main currency .  I think nothing wrong with it. Bitcoin is just an innovation, while others making it as an investment which  the main purpose of bitcoin when it was created is mainly as a payment method with less fees. Now people in USD they really think USD is a payment method while others is making trading out of it to make money.
