After China, S Korea, India, now it's France and Germany. Won't be long before US jumps in too. Not necessarily a bad thing if it only targets illegal activities& scams. What do you guys think?
Indeed not a bad thing though. And this is for the sake of us and for the people who are not that literate with this kind of stuffs since bitcoin is decentralized. And also by this news I think that this is kind of assurance that bitcoin would get widely accepted world wide, and an assurance that bitcoin value will reached again its historical value or more likely it will reached its new high value. I see that bitcoin would be more sustainable as it is and new uses of it are yet to come. Things are getting better and better each day. You're regulations are not a bad, It means acceptance by those country. When they regulate the use of certain things like digital currencies it means that they are accepting those new technologies. If bitcoin and other crypto currencies are legalized on different parts of the world the value of this digital assets will rise and people will never fear of those "BAN FUD" that media is spreading all over. Where one step closer to the world wide legalization of digital currencies world wide(In my point of view)  |

Is singapore zero tax on crypto? or lower tax? Zero for individuals. Zero for businesses not registered in Singapore. But the real plus is virtually no currency controls. You can take as much money into SG or out of SG as you want. The only * is that for cash, you need to declare over 20k SGD, but that is a non issue with crypto as crypto doesn't pass through customs anywhere. hmmm nice. Wondering how to move to SG right now Hint: you don't need to live in Singapore to enjoy its benefit. It's like you didn't need to live in Switzerland or Monaco to enjoy its benefits in the past (and still a good deal in the present). Just fly over, open some bank accounts (moderately easy: as long as you aren't from a third world country, just need a proof of address from your home bank; funds to deposit; and ID), open a few crypto exchange accounts (easy; however some require a local cell phone number... which is pretty easy to set up, you just need to remember to maintain it with local bill pay from your bank account). That's it, your funds now 'exist' in a place with no income tax on interest income. Lol this is a good idea because I don't want to leave my country and migrate just for crypto currencies even if it's one of the most corrupt place in the world.  But I'm still hoping that crypto currencies will be widely appreciated and legalized by governments in different parts of the world even if they put some taxes for using it and make policies/rules and regulations it will be good for everyone. |

The advantage of bitcoin for me is being free , Free from our government because it is decentralized and free from anyone because of it's anonymity,
I see it as an advantage not only for me but also for some students who are earning their own money by Bitcoin they are free to use bitcoin because this doesn't have an age limit.
Even bitcoin is not supported or backed up by the government, it is still available for international uses and that is why it is better to use bitcoin rather than paypal because the fees in bitcoin is cheaper and the transaction speed is fast and bitcoin is not just for payment but also in making money because you can get more money if you will invest in bitcoin like the others already did. The only bad thing in here is the price is unstable and volatility is at high risk, your money can disappear in a matter of minutes and you can lose a lot. But still, a lot of people believes and trust in crypto currencies(including me ) and one of the reason is to escape from government taxes. If only the government taxes are used in the correct manner and not stolen by those greedy politicians all over the world, I think there will be only few people will invest in crypto currencies. To be honest crypto is the new game changer in this era of digital world.  |

I think its time to ban new altcoins from coming in, there should be a limit on how many altcoins there should be per year
so that people can actually profit from investing in altcoin.
This is not a good idea because many companies are affected in this plan. So we should allowed only 50 coin in per year other altcoins are launching in next year. This kind of plan is better to your plan. First we create chart for this year launching altcoin. Then we should allocate one to fifty altcoins but i don't know how this is possible in current scenario. Because many MNC companies are launching the new altcoins so we don't stop or control. I think only one option is possible we don't invest in shit coin. I don't think this idea gonna happen and will work well if implemented. We all know that crypto currencies are decentralized and there are no country or any government to control over it. And banning the crypto currencies is not a good idea because the competition of every crypto will be low, developments will be stagnant or no developments at all coz there's no one or few one's to compete with. The huge growth of crypto currency creation is a good thing for those who have REAL and LEGIT projects to work well and keep on updating their project for the benefit of everyone. At the end this is still a big issue and need a lot of time to study and make some policies and rules and regulations for the crypto currency world. |

As we all know that China is a communist country and they would like to control people all the way and by allowing people to fully use bitcoin which provides financial freedom and pseudo anonymous transactions,it would go totally against their interests. They just want to protect their people from scam ICO's that is sprouting all over and they don't want their people's money to get scammed by those rouges. I think they'll regulate the use of bitcoin and other crypto currencies instead of totally banning it on their country just like in japan, the use of crypto currencies are legalized with policies to follow on. |

I think that some of us knows about it, that Bitcoin is used for crimes and one of these is the terrorism, I was thinking do they get their much money to buy anything that they wanted, and I thought that they were using bitcoin as one of the reason why they can do that. On the contrary we should remember as people that we should used Bitcoin safely and enlightened our mind to have a knowledge to do good things which will not effect ourselves and our country. Any form of currency or money as long as it has value can be used in crimes or any other stuffs similar to those things. The problem in here is not the bitcoin or other digital currency, it is those people who misuse this technology and use it on the way they want to use it without realizing that they can cause harm to other people or maybe they are just used to it. Even if the government regulates the use of bitcoin or other digital assets I don't think that they can stop criminality from spreading all over. |

Hello all. As a newbie Im worried if bitcoin price will not raise up again. Because I still keep some of it. It is not much but I got worried.  Yes, I´m sure. Due to the recent events, lot of people is worried about bitcoin price, but i´m sure it is going to rise up again. Dont forget last year Bitcoin´s price was $1000, and look at the current status: ten times more. So, despite the current situation, BTC is still rising if we think in a bigger map here. I mean, to analize the bitcoin trajectory from the last couple of years helps, to me, to stay positive. Lol No one is sure about that anything can happen in crypto currency world, the price can go down easily or rise and the market demand decides on that matter. Any investment doesn't give you assurance to profit so it's better to invest only what you can afford to lose. Even I said those things I want bitcoin to rise too Lol. |

when a company, or similarly a country, a bank, a financial firm,.... creates a new coin based on bitcoin using the blockchain technology, they are always creating a centralized token and that is a creating huge difference. it may seem like nothing in words but in reality the difference between bitcoin being decentralized and global without any kind of restrictions regarding usage whatsoever and a centralized token that a company issues is a huge one.
they can try and make their own version and many of them are doing it, but in the end it will be just another altcoin in a sea of altcoins.
This is very much true and well said. Unfortunately many don't focus on the decentralized aspect of coins, but instead on the name behind them.  Even telegram is planning to make their own coin lol. We are in the era of digital age and everything becomes digital and know giants in different kinds of industries are planning to make their own crypto currencies and I think this is a good sign for the crypto world. |

What should we do keep your bitcoin, sell it, or buy more? now because I am a little skeptic, but I can see that there is no decreasing value of the the BTC...  i even still not get income from bitcoin then china and korea was banning bitcoin, i am afraid with this situation. Maybe this is mistake.. as i know, china not banned bitcoin but banned ico. China thinks ico is scam. Its scamed their citizen so thats why they banned ico. China just think that if they let all these ICOS going around through their region without even regulated by them, all their citizen money will be stolen by possible scam ICO. That's actually good to keep their citizens from the possibility of getting scammed by unquality, scam ICO, but the biggest disadvantage is that, their citizen can't have the chance of investing into some projects. Just relax guys this is not the downfall of bitcoin or any crypto currencies, China and south korea is just regulating the use of crypto currencies. We are in the new age of technology and crypto currencies are part of it. |

The development since late December shows very clearly what is happening.
The whales - and anyone else with half a financial brain - are slowly selling all their bitcoin. As they sell, prices begin to drop sharply. They then hold back on the selling and newbies and "HODL'ers" are foolish enough to "buy the dip". This sends the price back up.
It then repeats with rates dropping again, until the newbies and "HODL'ers" buy the dip once more.
Except on every round the dip gets deeper and deeper.
The game is over, and anyone so stupendously stupid to keep buying from the whales who are unloading are basically just throwing their money away.
Face up to reality, the party is over.
That's a normal phenomenon Yeah just what he said it is normal bro, you should research more on what is happening and stop the spreading of FUD bro its not good. All this dip scenario had happened multiple times before and yet bitcoin is still strong and kickin. |
