I don't think it is wrong to distrust those that distrust you if you know that you are trustworthy.

It is up to others to decide if a person is trustworthy.  @LoyceV would be the first to tell you there are far too many users using the trust feedback and default trust (and now Flags as well) for vendettas.

Quote
Clearly their judgement is impaired and they no longer are suitable for default trust.

Agreed.  They should never have been on DT

Quote
You want those that demonstrate a good judge of character ?

Each person should make up their own mind, not go along with their gang members.

Quote
I don't believe that this is gaming the system.

Your four sentences contradict each-other.

[/quote]

He's been gaming the dT for months - (it's been covered in other threads) and he's done another batch of DT manipulation again today.
[/quote]

when you post this shit please add "seems" or my IMO
or you have some proofs that  i GAMING ?

or distrusting you is gaming ?
[/quote]

This is just in the last month since the last DT1 selection (May):

https://bpip.org/r/dt1changes.aspx

(see below as well)

[img width=400]https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/17/blob9fd93d7a8ef9337d.jpeg[/img]
[img width=400]https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/17/blob632f6cab0dd8c35e.jpeg[/img]
[img width=400]https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/17/blob7485c29b601e8fac.jpeg[/img]

There are multiple-instances where you go from trusting someone to distrusting them without having gone to a neutral setting and within hours of someone distrusting you you then distrust that person in retaliation.

20 hours after BPIP reported the monthly DT1 selection (June) (probably when you next logged on) you have again gone on a GAMING THE SYSTEM spree:

Even just in this handful of lines (ten in all) you have gone from distrusting one user to trusting them (asche), and gone from trusting another user to distrusting them (A-Bolt).

Now compare it to my own DT trusts/distrusts in the last *two* months:

So yes, you *are* gaming the system.

Equally baffling is the apparent ban evasion with user Bitcoin 100 having been banned, then six weeks later the Gleb Gamow UID being on sold as well as anecdotal evidence suggesting both of the other UID's also being used to cover loans.

Do you understand what anecdotal evidence really means?
Hint: No evidence, this is a joke.

Also Gleb Gamow UID was not sold. It failed to sell. His bud covered, and that's the end of that.
I cannot speculate on the Bitcoin 100 ban itself, but there must be a lesson in there somewhere.

Don't take my word on it - ask @darkstar_ to confirm what occurred: [1a] [1b] or @hilariousandco for that matter...  [2a] Roll Eyes

Get a mirror, there is 1 person trying to derail this thread and rake up the mud. Then a lot of people saying great idea.

Sorry for the loser comment I get over enthusiastic later at night.

I appreciate the apology and the spirit in which it was given.

I will leave this thread with this for you (and LV8) to ponder:

Well, for what it's worth, I cannot understand why the account was not locked, when it got that RIP badge.

4069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be invested in Crypto while staying away from gambling? on: June 03, 2020, 02:20:00 AM
If you want to invest in Crypto and want to ensure you don't touch those holdings for a very long time - research paper wallets.  Print out a paper wallet taking note of the wallet address and then send the paper wallet to someone you trust long term to hang onto it (that you implicitly trust) then send $10 or $20 worth of crypto to that wallet address.  Printing out three or four paper wallets and sending them to various people spilts up your funds and you are less likely to dip into your funds if they are split up having to bug more people.

Another thread you can look for is time-locked transfers of funds.  Funds are deposited and then locked to automatically transfer after a set time.  If you don't have anyone you realy trust to hold paper wallets for you AND YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING you can deposit funds into a paper wallet set a time-locked transfer and dispose of the paper wallet (yes, burn the piece of paper).  Sometime down the track those funds will arrive in your designated wallet (don't make it a Casino that might not be there in future).

Your $100 today could be $1,000 down the road a bit as long as you can wait.

Good luck.
4070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: June 03, 2020, 01:49:34 AM
Chronic gamblers will always prefer online gambling given the sheer numbers of them that are available and they are less likely to be identified by those online services if they switch from site to site to site on an hourly basis.  Having said that, there are in every suburb of cities and towns here in Australia RSL (Returned Services League) in New Zealand RSA ( ... Association) or sports clubs or just "Plain Jane" Pubs where people can gamble on the Pokie Machines up to $5 per line (max 50 lines so $250 per roll) - while they are not gambling online, they either have to get up and go to another venue or keep gambling where they are to avoid detection as chronic gamblers.

Real Life Casinos (especially if there is only the one in their area) with be more likely to identify chronic gamblers.  The hard part is in determining who is simply a heavy gambler and who is gambling with consequences at home or at work.  In a Casino there's only so long you can sit at a table gambling.

Having said all of that, if you are gambling online you have the luxury of doing so on the train to work, in the park at lunch time, at home on the couch.  So measuring how much time online gamblers actually spend is not an easy thing to quantify.
4071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: June 03, 2020, 01:32:39 AM
The Australian NRL in conjunction with the Qld Chief Health Officer have mandated that with the exception of health reasons (allergy etc) all players must have had the current Influenza Vaccine injection or they will be banned from playing.  I would imagine that because it is a contact sport, when a COVID-19 vaccine is developed, that it will be required to be administered to all players as well.
4072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 03, 2020, 01:18:13 AM
The Australian NRL (National Rugby League - which isn't National, but this isn't a thread for that topic) has restarted playing without any spectators in the grandstands.  So far the games are being played in mostly neutral stadiums (Lang Park here in Brisbane for example) and the games have been described as "very good games" for the very reason the players and organisers want the League to recover and they are itching to prove themselves.

The NRL State of Origin is definitely an electric game when it is played and the "home team advantage" is put to the test when it is "State Vs State" - Queensland at Lang Park, New South Wales at wherever they play.  The other team is viewed as the invader/the enemy etc, so both teams put their all into the game.
4073  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign on: June 03, 2020, 12:25:46 AM
Hi guys, just lurking in this thread, I just thought I'd let you know the signature just manages to scrape the bottom of post.  I have a fairly new computer monitor (,18 months old) so it doesn't bunch things up at like my mobile phone will sometimes do.  I've taken a screen shot so you can see what I"m talking about:

I'm sure if you set the font one size smaller (can you do pixels in BBCode? I've never tried) then it'll solve that issue.  Not sure about the Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Telegram logos though.

4074  Other / Meta / Re: Last of the V8s Merit Source Application on: June 03, 2020, 12:17:52 AM
If you block this application, you are only reducing the amount of merit shared around. Is that what you want?

Loser

There are many people applying to be merit fonts, Last of the V8's is one.  I've asked the the same/similar questions of others and gotten far more respectful answers.

Still stalking me I see...

Start your own thread on the matter.

I don't have to - I'm not the one wanting to be a merit font.

You guys are talking about :
https://blog.jooq.org/2013/10/09/sql-trick-row_number-is-to-select-what-dense_rank-is-to-select-distinct/

RANK will duplicate numbers (if two people have the same score, they have the same rank).  I don't like that, because a secondary sort would rank one higher than the other.

DENSE_RANK is more realistic.  You cannot have two people in the tenth spot in a line up.   :/

That's fine, I get that - My questions have been around how is it decided who amongst an equal score is given a ranking order.  My previous example where over 200 UID's have the same score but 200 successive ranks which then affect their most recognised scores.
4077  Other / Meta / Re: Last of the V8s Merit Source Application on: June 02, 2020, 01:14:44 AM
My posts? What have they to do with the price of fish? Don't answer that, I don't mind. Keep to the topic. Make a new thread if you want, where I can defend or tickle up these 3 quite defensible feedbacks.

Keep to the topic? Sure, your "worthiness" to be a merit font.

Would you agree that this is a false statement given your previous rhetoric?

Or, was your previous statements false and your trust feedback is correct?  The two are contradictory.

... and when do you make the assertion there was a sudden turn-around?

Please Elaborate.
4078  Other / Meta / Re: [LIST] Open Merit Source Applications & waiting list. on: June 02, 2020, 01:08:49 AM
Bearded:  You may want to consider just clarifying OP to say that your creation / maintenance of this thread/list is not meant to either support or oppose the listed applications, and that if any member wants to support or oppose such applicants, they can provide links to other threads in this thread that support or oppose such applications, but that this thread is not intended for discussing the endorsement or opposition of such applicants... and that might clarify without you having to take any position beyond merely listing applicants while also allowing members to link their support or opposition threads, if any.

And that it's an "Unofficial" or "informal" list of "expressions of interest" given that the process of "applying" doesn't seem to have its own thread where there is an announcement made and the "applicants" then make their cases in the one thread.
4079  Other / Meta / Re: Last of the V8s Merit Source Application on: June 01, 2020, 03:49:41 PM

How can we work together to bring consensus between us, so that I "trust" you and that you no longer "distrust" me.
